I heard from friends that the food here was good, so I decided to try it with them. Although it's a small buffet, the food was excellent quality. I saw the staff keep checking the food and keeping the food bar clean. The selection of dishes was good enough for a small buffet, and the food was always fresh and hot. The staff and atmosphere were also wonderful. I'll definitely be bringing my family back next time.

The new owners, Chiu (husband) and Heiman (wife), have done a wonderful job with making the food taste more homemade and delicious. Both are from Hong Kong and bring a Cantonese (South China) touch to the cooking. The food leaves you feeling light and energized after. Though other Chinese buffets in town might have more options, the food is of less quality and is very heavy in comparison. I will be back now to China Village, hats off to the new managers!

I bring my certain clients here that have peanut or any allergies because they list them very well what is in every dish! We love it here and eat here every Saturday. The waitress is fantastic, drink never runs dry and never a plate on the table. They are great with the elderly as well! I definitely suggest China Village! So anyone with allergies this is a great place to eat. If you’re leery about Chinese.great atmosphere and the owners are fantastic and very caring and friendly!

First time eating at this restaurant and the food was delicious, tried food I have never had before. Flavor was very good on everything I tried. Service was great and atmosphere was great and clean. All around great experience. Definitely will go back.

Carry out dinner. Ordered Appetizer Crab Rangoon (6ea) which are delicious. I got the pan-fried noodles which while not what I expected was good (I was expecting something more like a Pad Thai but the noodles were fried crispy.. see photos) it was awkward to eat & needed more sauce. My friends ordered the Honey Chicken & the Sesame Chicken but you couldn't tell which was which as the Sauces were very similar in flavor & color.. and they both had Sesame seeds on them.. they tasted good. Value was good and my friends were able to upgrade to include a soup, egg roll & crab Rangoon.. the noodle dish did not have that option which I found disappointing & didnt understand why they would have it that way.. over all food was decent.. not my favorite but would eat there again but try something else.

The food is honestly really good. I had no complaints about it and the staff was quick and friendly. Ive been here a few time before and will continue to come again given the opportunity. The only reason i give it a 4 instead of a 5 is that nasty tea they make. It is awful. Ive had it once before and forgotten how terrible it is. Please fix the recipe or nix it from the menu. Good job!

Good place to grab some Chinese takeout. Food was ready within 15 min and was kept hot. The staff were quick to checkout. Sweet and sour chicken tasted great and they gave plenty of sauce to go along with the entree.

My first time using Uber Eats, I ordered the Orange chicken. The delivery was timely but the food was very disappointing. The chicken was extremely dry as though it’d been sitting under the warmer for days. The crab Rangoon also tasted old. Fortunately, the egg drop soup was good. Based my choice on China Village because of the positive reviews - we did have a major snow storm 2 days prior. Maybe the storm caused staff/food issues.

I recently visited this Chinese buffet and really wanted to enjoy the experience. The restaurant offers a good variety of dishes, and everything looked fresh and well-presented. However, I found that much of the food was unfortunately cold, which made it hard to enjoy some of the items fully. The atmosphere also felt a little uncomfortable — the space was quite tight, and I noticed that the staff seemed to be watching guests closely as they ate and got food. While I understand they may be trying to keep things organized and clean, it made the dining experience feel a bit tense. Overall, I appreciate the effort the restaurant puts into offering a wide selection, but I hope they can make some improvements with food temperature and creating a more relaxed environment for guests.

Crab Rangoon was a little over cooked. Sweet and sour chicken was okay. The choice of fried rice or white rice was pretty much the same thing. Maybe a little butter added. When you get fried rice at other places they have carrots, peas etc. Maybe some soy sauce in it. General Tso's chicken was a complete bust. A bunch of mushed up chicken. No green peppers or anything in it. Hardly no flavor at all. Just pure mush. Noticed there wasn't one person in the restaurant besides me.

It has become too expensive for takeout. Nine dollars a pound. Comparable to other Chinese places in the Evansville area.($5.99)… it’s just not worth it. And I do believe the food quality has gotten lesser. Here is a picture of my takeout lunch that just cost me $16 not going back.

I really hate to leave negative reviews, but we ate there about 7:30pm last night and I woke up at midnight drenched in sweat with severe abdominal pain that kept me in the bathroom for hours. While I did see dishes being refreshed at the bar, several pans had sauces dried to the edges making me believe they'd been there a while. The fresh food then had the food being replaced added to the top of it. I even used hand sanitizer before and after getting my plate because its flu season. My daughter woke up this morning feeling fine but we also didn't eat the same things.

I have been eating at this establishment for 10+ years. The family who used to own it were immaculate and very proud in the product they used to serve; I cannot claim this is true for this restaurant now. The difference in quality of food, the service, the environment….. Save your money and travel to Evansville now!
