As soon as we were seated, we were blown away. This place had the BEST atmosphere! A nice view of the river, beautiful foliage, and very comfortable seating. We were going on a new adventure as were more used to American cuisine, we got the balloon bread for an app (amazing), Donner gyro plate, and the stuffed eggplant. Let me tell you, the stuffed eggplant stole the show! All of the food was amazing but let me tell you, the eggplant is a Must Try! After we stuffed ourselves Vedat gave us a sample of the baklava since this was our first visit. We are definitely going to make this a routine spot for date nights.

When I tell you the food was delicious, OMG!!! Customer service was impeccable and the view was amazing!!! Those characteristics weren't the best part. The best was the prices.... I love this place!!!

🌿 Mediterranean Delight with a View I had an amazing lunch here! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented — especially the grilled chicken and saffron rice. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, with a lovely view and perfect weather. The outdoor seating area felt like a little getaway, surrounded by pretty pink blossoms and blue skies. Definitely a place I’d visit again! 🌸☀️🍽️

I will start OMG! I was taken before I ever made it into the restaurant. The restaurant is set along the Ohio River with the most beautiful scenery. Then once you enter the restaurant you are greeted by a very welcoming staff. The menu comes out and you find it impossible to make up your mind because the menu has endless appetizing offerings. The Chicken Burek appetizer was mwaa! If you are ever in the are or near one of their places in Nashville, don't cheat yourself out of a treat!

Delicious Mediterranean food! My husband and I have been here several times since they’ve opened and it’s always been fantastic. I’ve had the Sac Tava (pictured) and the Adana Kebabs. I’ve stuck with the kebabs because they are perfection. My husband has had a few pasta dishes he said were great. Also, you must try some of the appetizer dips & baklava for dessert! I like the more upscale decor of the place and am happy to see a restaurant succeeding in this space. It’s one of our new go-to spots. ☺️

This was my first time here and absolutely loved it! The food the view and the food was superb. Additionally the service was very great. We had Verdat (I hope I spelled his name correctly) but very nice as well as all the staff! Definitely will return. If you’re looking for a nice place with an amazing view, nice music, and great food; this is your spot!

Great service and genuinely attentive staff in a bright, beautiful space. The food was fantastic: well-seasoned and plated with care. One note: being right on the river with busy patio doors means a few flies can sneak in during peak times, which can be distracting if you’re seated near an entrance. Still, the team is friendly and eager to please, and I’d happily come back. This is the dessert I had the mind to take a photo of because the plating and presentation was GORGEOUS. I did get one of their bigger lunches but, I knew I'd have it for leftovers so, it made the pricing manageable.

Marida was a neat resort like experience in the quaint river town of Newburgh IN. We say on the outdoor terrace and the foliage and flowers were a beautiful touch. Service was good and the food was a nice change from the usual comfort food.

Boyfriend and I were in the mood to explore downtown Newburgh and try some new food and we found this place and it is our new absolute favorite restaurant. We saw several things on the menu we want to try and the decor and atmosphere are lovely plus there is outdoor seating available. We will definitely be back soon! The service was also great and all of the servers seemed to be Greek which was a nice surprise but also showed us we were getting genuine Mediterranean cuisine. They have several very affordable options on the menu and I saw one thing that was almost $80, and there were options at just about every price point in between, the menu was extensive which was another nice surprise. This place is right on the river so it also has nice views, but doesn't have a designated parking lot, however there is free street parking within walking distance and if that gets full there are also a couple of free parking lots nearby (one is for a city hall and another for an apartment building).

Having spent my entire life in contact with Anatolian food in many different parts of the world, I did not have high hopes when visiting family in Indiana. However, the quality and taste blew my expectations out of the water. It is fantastic. Even within Türkiye, the Southeast and East are known for their excellent cooking, and they have successfully brought that flavor to their great location on the banks of the Ohio River. 100% recommend this restaurant.

Our entire experience was great. Our server was kind, and offered up several recommendations. Our server took the time to answer all of our questions, and was attentive. We never felt rushed. The spicy margarita I had was delicious. Just a hint of spice, and very tasty. There were so many wonderful food options - we loved the meals we got. I’ll be back for sure to try other dishes. The outdoor dining added so much value to this experience. If you’re looking for a solid Mediterranean restaurant, look no further than Marida Restaurant. Enjoy! ✨

Very fresh tasting Mediterranean style food. The chicken kabobs were juicy, and everything was well seasoned. The balloon bread and hummus were both excellent. We tried the turkish delight and pineapple mai tai. The Turkish delight was not my kind of cocktail (very strong rose flavor), but my wife liked it. The staff was very prompt and courteous. Nice views of the river, though the patio wasn't open at the time.

The hummus didn’t have much flavor and I didn’t care for the bread that came with it. The rice was excellent as was the lamb. Atmosphere is outstanding. I’ll be back to try their tiki bar.

The sun was blinding and they had no way of shading it. The servers acted as if they were better than you. The bread was very good but the meals were so-so. Just wasn't impressed.
