Highly recommend the breakfast burritos 😋 just wish the papas were a lil smallers an not so thick but still delicious !!

The ambiance is very authentic as is the flavor of mostly all of their dishes, which also offer American foods as well. Friendly service and reasonable wait times. Best horachata I've had.

A small town jewel! I moved to Newman around 2014 and Santis was the first Mexican restaurant I ate at. This is the best spot for Menudo and Pozole!!! All they’re dishes are amazing, but I recommend the menudo, pozole (served only weekends) and they’re shrimp cocktail (served daily). The food is mouthwatering, full of flavor and the friendly staff whom I got to know through the years feel like they’re family!!! This May be a small town, but has a flavor giant of a restaurant here! I go every weekend! They also accept Apple Pay so don’t be discouraged if you don’t have cash, or forget your card.

I've been eating at Santos at least twice a week for almost 6 months. In this time I've never had a bad meal. Their al pastor tacos are amazing!!

The food is delicious and authentic. Like my grandma used to make in Mexico. And the service was great. I will be coming back here again.

Had #17 Steak Ranchera. Menu picture shows a whole flat steak, but came sliced and diced with onions and bell peppers. Had rice, beans, and 3 corn tortillas (flour tortillas also available). Ordered a side of salsa for the beans & rice (free, included in price). It was delicious, it hit the spot. I recommend Santi's. Nov 2 2025 had Menudo with corn tortillas today, it was delicious! It also came with oregano, cilantro, onions, dried red chilies, you break them up.

My girlfriend and I came here for some good Mexican food. I ordered the #2 Enchiladas combo with beans and rice. I ordered one enchilada with shredded chicken and one with cheese. I really liked the chicken, it was tender and seasoned perfectly. I also like the chips and salsa. I ordered a taco with my meal and it came with a taco holder which was pretty cool. My girlfriend ordered the #7 the Chile Relleno combo. Everything was great and the service was just as good. I will definitely come back here!

Love it, the new owners and staff are so sweet. The food is amazing just like home cooked they have daily specials you cannot find at anyother mexican place. Fridays mole is the best i always order 2 sets one for there one for to go.

It was pretty good I enjoyed a hambuger. My mom really like wet grilled chicken burrito. This place is getting better and El Campestra is getting worse. Iam glad I went

Food is consistently good, as is service. I tend to pass by close to closing time and they never make me feel like I'm rushed.

I ordered the Chilli Verde plate and it was very delicious. I also ordered the shrimp and octopus cocktail and that was one of the best cocktails I have had in a long time. My very talkative kids ordered burritos and they all finished them without saying a word which usually means that they love it. If you're within 35 miles of Santi's Mexican Grill you should stop in and treat yourself, I will be coming back again.

We decided to stop of in Newman for some Mexican food and landed on Santi's. I'd say my taco salad was particularly delicious and the customer service was impeccable! The only critique I can give was the water had something floating in it, Idk if it was the cup may have not been rinsed properly or if the may need to change there water filter for the ice. Aside from that the food was great and the people we very nice and quickly rectified the dirty cup situation. I want to say thank you to our waiter and thanks to the business for our great service and food

Ordered several burger plates and the amount of fries that each order had was disappointing. One of our burgers was the wrong kind. I had ordered a guacamole burger and was given a bacon burger. The mushroom burgers was also disappointing, not enough mushrooms in the sauce.

It was a little bit pricey. I had four eggs with three pieces of french toast and bacon and it cost me almost $30. The food was good, the service was friendly.

Food is good but bad service no organization and I order orchata drink not recommended test fake flavored and to much sugar

Got shorted 1 meal 20 mins before closing got home and called them no andswer, but it was probably for the best as food was not very good.

Went here for dinner. It was ok won't be back. We where asked if we wanted chips & salsa and said yes. I mean who doesn't at a Mexican restaurant. Little did we know there's a charge. We where not informed until we got the tab.

Ok food, the meat was a bit stringy not the best quality meat on the asada, taco tortillas were a bit dry, got almost a whole onion on one of my tacos, whom ever cut the onion need a bit more attention to detail,

I ordered a steak sandwich and it was 25% fat. The meat had no flavor and the price was a little steep for the food I got. The servers were somewhat attentive. Not the greatest.

Service was slow and the food was awful. I ordered a Burrito supreme the carne asada was not seasoned or had flavor nor did the rice and beans. The food is not authentic at all. I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone.

We ordered one thing and they gave me too things, the lady had the audacity to give me attitude too like so rude, I didn’t want to start an argument so I just paid them both.

Called this place and they put me on hold so I did but after 5 minutes nothing no response so I decidedly to keep holding 10 minutes pass and nothing the worst part is that I could hear the people in the background but still kept me on hold so I decided to keep holding just to see how long they would notice I was on hold after 20 minutes nothing and someone decided to hag up on me so I called back and looks like they did not want to answer me so I kept insisting figured I at least tell them that it was rude and poor professionalism and not ethical to do that to a person finally a lady answered and I told her but her only excuse was she was taking a large order and had the nerve to tell me that she could take my order she just shrugged The Whole thing off did not even apologize poor lack of professionalism and work ethics my family regularly orders there put after this I’m going to tell them and suggest that they take their businesses elsewhere

Most disappointed was the salsa for the tacos, no spice, no salt and no flavor. I wanted to give them a second chance but once again, Santi's was disappointing. Do not recommend you go there for Mexican food. Can't really recommend a good restaurant around this area! ‍

This weekend we ordered breakfast burritos and as soon as I opened the bag I could smell something was off. It smelled like rotten meat. Low and behold the bacon was bad. I took 3 bites and threw the rest out. Still ended up with food poisoning the rest of the day. There’s no way the cook didn’t smell that rancid smell.
