My expectation was high because it had $$$$$. You know if they are expensive I assume their quality is good and taste should be good as well? I went with someone who is the regular there so he ordered wagyu for us that was not on the menu and omg I can truly say that it was the best steak I've ever had in my life! It comes with super hot stone (600 degrees) and you grill your meat on the stone. They give you 3 different seasonings and I liked horseradish sauce a lot. Their sweet corn brulee was pretty good as well. Potato gratin, lobster bisque, French onion soup, flemings salad, and steamed lobster were just nah~ I do not recommend that you order them. Our server seemed nice and had smile on the whole time but she didn't take our order correctly. I wanted truffle poached lobster and then she just brought me the steamed lobster. My friend wanted to order espresso martini but she put down seasalt caramel espresso martini instead. Overall, they were good food and it wasn't overly too expensive.

This was the most amazing birthday dinner! Both steaks were cooked perfectly, very tender and juicy. I am normally an A1 Sauce junkie (no matter the quality of steak) and yet I didn’t even need a drop during my meal tonight! The service was spectacular, Kelsey took such amazing care of me and my husband. She was prompt, polite, professional, and kind. The sautéed mushroom are must-have side, as well as the steamed lobster tail. Overall; such a pleasant experience and we are waiting on the edge of our seats to be able to return!

I have a habit of visiting places in the hour before closing, not because I like to but because I'm always on the go. I find sometimes the food at the end of the night gets below average. Not here. I ordered my medium, prime new York at quarter after nine on a Wednesday night and got outstanding service and the quality i expected. Actually a little more honestly. The steak was on the money temp wise. They didn't rush it and served me a beautiful thick cut that tasted phenomenal. Medium on the money! I enjoyed crispy Brussels and the bartender gave me just enough attention without being overbearing. I have come here over the years and am always pleased and leave full and happy.

Nice place. The Steak was cooked to perfection. What I really enjoyed was the lava cake. Takes some time to make, but definitely worth the wait. Everyone you encounter here is trying to provide you with outstanding service. The place is a little dark for me personally. Luckily we were sitting next to the window.

Table service is very nice. Came here on my anniversary and the restaurant prepared Happy Anniversary card and chocolate for us. I definitely love the butter spread so much. Our server was very nice and polite. Steak were tender and tasty. The restaurant is very cozy and luxurious. Highly recommended to have a date or special occasion lunch/ dinner here.

I expected a filet mignon with phenomenal flavor. After all, I’m at Flemings and paying a price it calls for excellent meat. It was very thick and perfectly cooked. However, it was rather boring. There was nothing exceptional about the flavor and the texture was rather ordinary. I recently had a steak at another restaurant and I couldn’t believe how tender and buttery the meat was, even soft. We had mashed potatoes which were clearly made in house and we’re excellent and asparagus which was typical and nothing special. The warm bread was very good. All in all, the meal was fine but certainly nothing exceptional and I would definitely not return and pay these prices for a very average meal in a high-end place.

My favorite restaurant. The best food. It would be 5 stars if they brought back crusty bread along with crumb service. Parking is always difficult. But it still ranks as my favorite. We celebrate every anniversary here.

Visited Fleming's Prime Steakhouse for dinner. My review on ordered food and restaurant environment: Lobster Bisque The lobster bisque was a masterpiece. Rich, creamy, and full of depth, every spoonful was a luxurious blend of flavors. The seasoning was on point, and the chunks of lobster added a delightful texture. It’s a must-try for seafood lovers. Shrimp Cocktails The shrimp cocktails were fresh and perfectly chilled. The shrimp were plump and juicy, paired beautifully with a tangy cocktail sauce that had just the right amount of kick. A refreshing and light appetizer to start the meal. Prime New York Strip Well cooked to perfection, the Prime New York Strip was tender, flavorful, and oozing with juices. The seasoning complemented the natural richness of the meat, creating a dish that was both hearty and satisfying. Prime Tomahawk The showstopper of the night was undoubtedly the Prime Tomahawk, dry salted. Expertly cooked with a perfect sear, it was a carnivore's dream. The marbling was exceptional, and the smoky, charred crust gave way to a melt-in-your-mouth tenderness. Some shortcomings to highlight here: Unfortunately, the experience was marred by the lack of attention to detail in cleanliness. One of the spoons provided for the bisque was visibly dirty, and the glasses on our table had smudges and watermarks, which was disappointing given the high standards we expected from such a premium establishment.

At the Flemings here in Newport, tables were a bit too close for our liking. I had the boneless Rib-eye which was...okay...flavorful but a bit dry...Oddly enough the person next to us had the same dish had commented that Ruth Criss was better...I definitely agree. Our waiter was professional and attentive, the water girl was exceptional. She was attentive, cheerful and asked about our meal. Oddly enough there was another waiter, shorter with an apparent hip ailment, maybe the head waiter, who went to the two tables next to us and behind us and asked about their meal and how they were enjoying the time there. He never came over to us, which we felt was odd since he had to walk right by us to speak to everyone else. Also, towards the end of the meal, the shorter waiter was mentioning to our waiter how he was expecting to get a $40 tip but received a $100 and was pleasantly surprised. Our waiter attempted to minimize the conversation, apparently realizing how inappropriate it is to discuss tips in earshot of any guests, but the waiter continued on. As we left, no one said anything to us...no goodbye..no thanks for coming...nothing...this as we passed two hosts at the front door talking...nope...we won't be back.

I normally go to Rancho Cucamonga restaurant which is never disappointing. This time i chose Newport Beach restaurant and I did go on valentines day which is normally busy at most restaurants. The service wasn't the greatest for the price paid. They never brought bread, drinks took long and were not good, shareables were brought too early before steaks, lava cake had no lava and my wife's dessert was forgotten till we were about to leave. I think I will stick to the rancho cucamonga restaurant.

They say that first impression are the things that you remember the most and coming here to Flemings you are greeted by very friendly and courteous hosts. They greet and bring you to your table and if you are celebrating an event..there is a hand written card with confetti on the table. It’s a nice touch to show you that you are a valued diner. Once seated, they bring you water and warm bread with two different spreads. The service was spotty. The bus staff was great and made up for the lack of knowledge from the waiter (who did not know about the filet and wine flight availability and had to ask management). As for the food, the burrata cheese appetizer was chosen and was served with arugula (instead of the usual basil) and heirloom tomatoes (which were not quite ripe enough to be eaten). The Flemings salad which came with the filet flight, was slightly sweet with cranberries and candied walnuts. It had a nice mix of textures and is the salad to get if you like nuts and cranberries. The entree chosen was the filet mignon (upgraded to a main filet mignon) and the half lobster tail. The main filet was a generous portion that made for a nice lunch the next day. The half lobster tail though was tough, rubbery and tasted of frozen lobster tails. The second filet flight started with the Caesar salad, which lacked a teensy bit of dressing, but was otherwise fresh and crisp. This entree was upgraded to a bone-in ribeye with a crab stuffed half lobster tail. The ribeye had a nice crust to it, was very tender, but lacked a bit of steak spices. It was a decent size, cooked to the correct doneness, but was a little on the thin side. The crab stuffed lobster, like the other one was tough and rubbery. This one also has a very fishy odor that was noticed upon its arrival at the table by the other diners. Each filet flight ordered a wine flight, one red and one white. My gripe with the wine flights (three 2oz pours) were that they were both brought out after the entrees had been served. It would have been nice to have them brought out along with the entrees or even better if each wine was paired with the appetizer, entree and dessert. Speaking of which, the dessert (included with the filet flight) was delicious. It was crème brûlée and it was done to perfection. The top was charred enough to give it a glass like texture, but was not burnt. Upon cracking the top,the crème underneath was velvety and smooth with just the right amount of sweetness. The dining room is very dimly lit (done for ambiance), but there are other restaurants that do the same with well placed lighting. The patio is the way to go on a nice warm sunny day. The service from the bus staff was great. Water was refilled, table was cleared of finished or dirty dishes and they were always present. The waiter on the other hand, disappeared for a long period between the appetizer and the ordering of the filet flights. When questioned about a suitable wine choice for the dishes basically said chose white because of the seafood without giving any recommendations. Coming to Flemings is an experience if you’ve never been and even better if you come to celebrate an event due to the little touches like a card and confetti on the table. Service is a little mixed, the steaks are good, but I would definitely avoid the lobster tails.

I expected the food to be better than what it was. I had the double pork chops, mash potatoes and asparagus. The sides and the bread service were delicious. I've had a better pork chop at Outbacks and BJ's. We had dessert, chocolate lava cake. It was not good at all. We expected to see the chocolate in the middle. It wasn't like that. It was kind of dry. Our waiter did his job. The assistant, she brought us bread water packed my leftovers, was delightful. Very attentive and kind. Othet then her, we did not feel welcomed or appreciated as customers. It was really weird. The wait staff spoke to customers all around us. Thanked them for coming and we got nothing. It was very odd. We walked out to not even a thank you. Thank you for spending an exorbitant amount of money for a meal we could have gotten for a fraction of the cost somewhere else and it would have been better! We've never had this happen to us before. We won't ever go back. At least not to this location.

I came here with my husband and young kids to celebrate our wedding anniversary (our family's birthday) on Tomahawk Tuesday. I appreciated that they were very accommodating with substitutions. Instead of two salads we got a Mac n cheese for my kids to share and a French Onion soup. The soup was the best thing we ate, for better or worse. The steak took so long to come out. We ended up picking at our kids' food, waiting around 40 minutes between the soup being cleared out and our steak arriving. We even had to flag the waiter down twice to ask him where our food was, and each time was met with a "I'll check right away" then not coming back. The tomahawk was cooked well but lacked flavor, and I would've liked it to be juicier. For sides we got mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts. Mashed potatoes were typical and plain, buttery but nothing to dress it up. Brussel sprouts were good, but also nothing spectacular. We finished with the chocolate lava cake, which was a big hit, of course, because warm chocolate and cold vanilla ice cream is always a winning combination. But with as many good steakhouses there are around, I would recommend going elsewhere, especially since parking at Fashion Island can be such a pain to find (even on a random weekday evening before 5!), unless you pony up for valet 💸

Made reservations for my anniversary and upon arrival, they placed me in a room outside while was raining. The room was like sport bar with bunch of tvs playing football games. They knew it was a reservation for an anniversary and supposed to be romantic but no it was like going to Buffalo wings. When I requested to be moved to a different table, they gave me attitude even though the inside was empty. Could it be because I was not white? Never again

Total waste of $180! Would have been happier going to McDonald’s. The calamari tasted old and was way too chewy. The Chilean sea bass had little taste, it was not tender and flaky like it has been in the past. The salmon had very little taste. No salt or pepper shakers on the table and our server never returned until we got the check. She didn’t refill one of the drinks. To top it off the place was half empty and they sat us next to table with a bunch of children running around and screaming.
