Nice hotel next to Universal Studios. Perfect if you need to be close in walking distance. Pool area serves food & drinks from 11am to 6pm. Hot tub is huge! Outside cabanas and games for the kids. Room very spacious we had two rooms next to each other 1 for the grandparents and us with the kids. A roll-away was ordered and fit perfectly in the room. Dinner at the Hill restaurant was deelicious! It was a bit pricey, but it was for the birthday boy, and it was worth it. Best to make reservations...

Love going to islands and they have a good happy hour sliders and beer

The food was really good! I got the Hawaiian chicken sandwich with onion rings. The chicken was moist and tender. The pineapple was roasted perfectly and the sauce was a great balance. The onion rings were crispy not greasy like a lot of other places. The service was really good. It was quiet enough to carry on a conversation.

Service was excellent, the atmosphere lively, yet calm, and the food was fresh (fries were hot). Went during Happy Hour, had a tastey cocktail, not too expensive. As always, the food choices were comforting and as expected. This Islands is worth making a favorite spot.

We recently dined at this restaurant and had an overall excellent experience. The food was delicious, with each dish prepared to perfection and bursting with flavor. The service was impeccable; the staff was attentive, friendly, and ensured that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Additionally, the establishment was spotless, reflecting their high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail. We had a fantastic time and look forward to returning soon.

I got the Kilauea burger and salad as a sub and overall I thought it was decent. The salad was pretty much the shredded lettuce from the burger. The fries were good too. The place was overall clean and service was good. Definitely worth checking out.

Great little beach themed dive, right off the 73 next to UC Irvine. Friendly service and a right decent Happy Hour (M-F 3-6:30).

Service and environment is always great, but my food at this specific location wasn't the best. The fries were encrusted with salt, the guacamole tasted like a shoe, and the salsa tastes like Pace. I got the Maui burger, which had a pretty bland and boring taste. Maybe that's just my taste, hence the overall 3/5. Our server was very nice and made everything to our liking and made our experience the best it could be. I normally expect above average food quality/taste from islands, and I'm convinced I probably just got an old batch of guacamole for my meal.

I am pained to write this review. My group ordered our food and our server was barely around and was not completely present even when they came around. The food was lackluster and although edible, was not hot when served and the fries tasted refried. The restaurant was also not busy as there was approximately 6 occupied tables and 3 people at the bar about 12:30 pm on a weekend. This was a good place to go as late as last year, sadly I dont think I will be going back to this location.

I always get the Big Wave Burger with turkey patty, I don't eat beef. So with their special I ordered the Big Wave with turkey like usual. They refused. I asked how much extra for turkey, they said no substitutions allowed. On their menu, this is an option. I walked out, false advertisement. Will never return on principle only.
