The steak here is delicious, and the flavor of the food overall is on point! One of the best Latin American restaurants in the area imho. There was one occasion where the service was a little slow and prioritized take-out orders but other than that, this place has been consistent and I’ll definitely come back again.

The waitresses are all so nice and the restaurant is always clean but it’s the food that is the BEST!!!! We used to drive all the way to Richmond to get chicken and chicharrones like this but now it’s right down the street and tastes even better!!! Nothing is better than getting a juicy piece of chicken fresh and hot right off the grill !!

the food is immaculate, like genuinely the food is fresh and so good here! it’s pretty quick to receive your food and the staff is so friendly. definitely try the quesadilla, empanadas (both pollo and carne are bomb), and the pollo is sooo flavorful and juicy! it has that grilled char on it and isn’t dried out, i’ve gone here twice and both times were super good! i’ve only ever had take out but the restaurant is always clean, never dirty inside and quite a few tables available.

Restaurant is amazing but nobody understands or speaks english. You guys need to hire someone that speaks English. I spent way too long trying explain myself to the cashier. This was my first time eating at this beautiful restaurant but unfortunately I don’t know spanish. I am learning

I been coming to this spot since spring, a handful of times. I remember the first time, I was really pleased and happy I found a spot with really great and smokey grilled meats. I would drive from Hampton and also I would tell multiple people about how great the food was and they should check them out. Unfortunately I don't speak Spanish but I would use Google translate to communicate to the staff. I would also do the same for non spanish customers who happen to be there the same time I was. One time not to long ago the staff was really busy and was waiting for the food to finish cooking on the grill so they could bring it inside the restaurant to serve those of us waiting.. I was patient knowing the slight inconvenience would be forgotten once I started eating. I had a decent size order and I also ordered 1 beef and 1 chicken empanadas. When I got home I realized that I didn't receive the empanadas, I did not call because they were busy and also the language barrier. I went back in a day or two later and saw the person who rung me up. She said there wasn't anything that she could do. So I accepted that and chuck it up as a lost. I still ordered some more food that day. So my biggest complaint just happened on Thursday afternoon Oct 9th. I ordered two chicharrones and two beef flanken style ribs. At the time there wasn't a lot of ribs in the window and the ones that were given to me were significantly darker than usual. I did not have a lot of time to wait for fresh ones from the grill. So I figured they would be fine, when I got to my car I bit one and it was really bitter I tried the other and it was not edible. I went back inside to let them know it tasted burnt and bitter and asked if I could get the two ribs replaced. There was only a nibble from both ribs literally that I had to spit out. I was told by 3 people that I couldn't have them replaced because I took them out the store, and that I touched them etc. I understood that but in my mind I'm like why wouldn't you just throw them away. So then I asked for a refund for just the ribs and which were like $16 or $18. I was told no. Another person came over who appeared to be the manager or owner, I'm not sure and she said the same thing.. No refund, no replacement. Let me be clear. This wasn't a situation where I was trying to take advantage of the business by eating the majority of the food and then complaining to get a refund. Again I'm driving from Hampton and I'm telling everyone to check them out. Ok so finally after going back and forth, respectfully.. I never raise my voice, never got disrespectful, but I was clearly a little agitated that 1.) I was going to be out my money because the meat was too charred to enjoy. And 2.) I was shocked that this was happening.. I was just standing there thinking about what to do. I wish I would have taken pictures. Finally a few minutes later a worker called me back to the counter.. She appeared to be agitated and wanted me to leave.. She give me two other ribs and told me that this the only time she would do this and that it was up to me tell her that when she is serving the food to tell her that I don't want the one she is selecting... In my mind I'm like why give people burnt food. So with all of that being said.. That will be the last time for me as well. I didn't give it a 1 star because the food is really good. But the service really needs some work.. I rarely give bad reviews, but that really impacting my thoughts on the establishment.

The Food taste good and the drinks are good but these prices are insane. I got two fresh fruit drink for 18.50 plus tip. Two drinks for 18.50 is pretty steep but then I went to on their door dash and it’s cheaper on delivery, there prices are not consistent at all felt like I got scammed, excited for what’s gonna replace this restaurant hopefully it’s better than this

My son lives in that area so he took me there and I liked the food. Every time I come from New Jersey I stop there. The last two times I get the same cashiers. Never a hello and never speaks the whole time. Today same thing but this time she is charging $80 something dollars for two things of rice, two ribs and two empanadas. I knew it was wrong. I tell her. She did fixed it and it was only $20 something.Still not one word. I asked for the manager after I spoke the grill guy who told me too. I waited 5 minutes. Never came out until I go to the car,then she decides to come out. The worst service ever!!!They are all in it together. What was the problem manager? I almost got over charged if I didn’t pay attention! Why I had to tell the other cashier what happened? What took so long to come speak with me? The tall,chubby, white complexioned in case the manager wants to come on here asking for a description she already knows!!!

They should have had professional people Or at least people who know what they are doing because the waitresses who are working do not have the slightest idea of how to serve a person. The food is excellent, but you would not return just for the service.

The food could be good but it’s not what we ordered. Hungry family and not enough food. Everyone knows mom does not eat in this situation. The gentleman who answered the phone did not speak English and I do not speak Spanish. We will have to try somewhere different next time.

After spending well over $60 the “owner” kicked us out because my toddlers 4 & 5 years old were drinking soda out of a McDonalds cup. His words exactly “It makes the restaurant look bad”. Instead of making his customers feel welcomed. DO NOT RECOMMEND! Sad that my kids had to tell me that man is so mean mom he was so rude to us. I’m sooooo DISGUSTED in this restaurant. I went in on word of mouth with a client to try it out, to get served dry rice, and chicken. So informing another client about the food, she wanted to try it! I went in, and spoke with Sam about my dry rice, and chicken. NO WHERE did she tell me to return the food, which I would have done with no problem. Until the day I come in for the replacement that she started her coworker, or her would take care of. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT UNLESS YOU GETTING THE FOOD FRESH OFF THE GRILL, and/or KITCHEN 👌🏾

My family and I came in for lunch and people who came in after us and sat down after us were served before us. We were blatantly ignored by two servers. After watching them just walk by us and waiting for a while we walked out. With this poor quality of service I do not recommend this place for anyone.
