Best old fashioned breakfast in town. Great preparations and very generous portions. Delicious hash browns or home fried potatoes like mom used to make. Eggs and omelets cooked to perfection. Warm and inviting atmosphere and very friendly staff. My favorite breakfast place. Take out only right now.

A local small town spot. The staff appeared to know all customers and gave the small town feeling. The food was fast, hot, and delicious. I would recommend to anyone traveling the central coast to take a quick detour and have breakfast at Cowgirl Cafe.

Consistent small town diner fare. Grandmother has to go at least once a week or she starts getting pancake withdrawals. They have a fine lunch menu as well. Definitely worth the time and money.

Their food and portions are both excellent. They have menu items you don't typically see and it's hard to empty your plate. Prices are average but the generous portions make it a bargain if you go in hungry. The serving staff are always friendly, helpful and prompt. For those of you that are dining alone there is a service bar in the back. Otherwise they can handle large parties or smaller groups with no problem. It's definitely worth checking out even if you're just travelling through.

I wasn’t expecting the French toast to come out this huge! Haha Portions are definitely on the bigger side, and the prices are very reasonable too. The omelette was tasty, though I kinda wish the toppings were mixed in instead of just piled on top. I came in right before closing so it was pretty quiet, but I can totally see this place getting packed during the day. The cowboy theme inside is cute and gives it a fun vibe.

Wow, it was like being back home deep in the Heart of Texas! Friendly service, EXCELLENT food, and a nice, small town country ambience. I actually dined in twice, I enjoyed it so much!

My cute little wife and I stopped down at the Cowgirl Cafe and had a very nice breakfast. We both had the breakfast scramble with sausage biscuits and gravy and eggs and it was very good. I would definitely go back there.

They were super busy but we only had to wait 5 minutes for a table and was served within 15 minutes. Going back to try lunch next.

Great food and a cute cafe, very busy. It is obvious they are quite popular even for lunch on a Monday. Be sure to try the pastrami or the turkey, avocado, and bacon club sandwich! Update 12/23/2024 I got the super turkey sandwich with avocado. I'm sad to say, they ruined what could be an amazing sandwich by using American cheese. I haven't gotten into the habit to ask what type of cheese is on a sandwich. I will have to start doing this at Cowgirl cafe Update: 9/26/2022 The food is still good. I tried the cowboy scramble for the first time and was very pleased. Service is friendly. I love our Nipomo town!

Always good food. Prices are also good. Customer service excellent. Very accommodating for singles or large crowds. Would say traditional American fare. Open only for breakfast & lunch. Cute & cozy atmosphere.

I love their food, especially the omelets, biscuits and gravy, and the country scrambled style! My only comment is that it would be great if you changed the styrofoam to go containers for more eco-friendly biodegradable containers!

The did was very good and I will have to go back and try a lunch item. The home fries were cooked excellently! I liked the biscuit and gravy very much.

We tried a new place in nipomo, we try to go different places. Food was great. I had the Chile Verde omelet, was very good, I would have added maibe something more in omelet, the taste was good but just to plain was definitely missing something. My wife had the huevos rancheros/over hard with Chile Verde . Delicious, good portion, would order again .

The omelet wasn't an omelet. The ingredients were thrown on top in a pile. The staff argued with my friend, who gets this same item almost every week, that that is just how they were made. They gave us the wrong potatoes even though I had spoken my request clearly (and was verified by my friend). Mistakes happen, but when the staff argues with you instead of just replacing it, there's a problem. My favorite though was when we asked to sit near a window (all their 2-seaters look like they are in the darkest places), even though the place was not busy, we were told they would make us move if they needed the table. I HAVE NEVER, EVER HEARD THAT ONE!

Service was good even though at least one of the two waitresses was quite new. Attitude was good. Prices, like most prices in restaurants these days, were higher than I feel reasonable but then again I think breakfast is where many restaurants make a majority their money. Food was good. But not spectacular.

To be honest we love the one in SLO so we thought we would try this one out service and atmosphere was wonderful but the food wasn't as good as slo the bacon was so over cooked and hard I couldn't eat it

Be sure to come here already hungry because by the time the food comes you’ll be hungry again. Came here solo on a Sunday and it took nearly 30 minutes to get my chicken fried steak. The place wasn’t too busy and had several tables open. The host was a young kid with zero personality or enthusiasm. Don’t expect to be greeted when you walk in. Food quality was mediocre. The chicken fried steak portion was relatively small and the meat quality was sub par. Would not come here again.

She wanted to stick me in the dark hallway no-man's-land outside the noisy pick up window. Food was good, service was barely acceptable. She cheerfully showered the next solo diner with a list of seating options. Hmm? Maybe I need to be a young, good looking, cowboy to get better service? She timed her swing-by to ask about the food when I had a mouthful and could not speak. She decided for me that everything was fine and took off. Not sure why this place had only one waitress on duty until 8:30 on a Sunday. No bus boys, no cashier, no extra help. After taking my order the place quickly started filling up, the phone started ringing with to-go orders, and the one waitress could clearly used some backup. Maybe someone failed to show up? Might be the reason for surliness? I used to have breakfast here regularly and I'm not sure why I keep going back. Probably out of nostalgia more than anything. Food gets 4🌟, service can be good, but, today it's a 3🌟

Food was good. They are very short staffed. The young hostess must be the owners daughter. She did nothing but stand around. Another problem is one of our party said I will be a little late so order me a strawberry waffle. They would not seat us because not everyone was there. Ridiculous

I really thought by the reviews this resturant would be good but I was wrong. The orange juice was out of a tang box, carton liquid eggs not fresh eggs. Pancakes and french toast where sub par. Really disappointed for the price it was cheap. Could it really be that consumers don't know what good food is anymore or just fake reviews?

Breakfast sandwich, didn’t get order right. It took 2 times for my order to try and get it right. On the 2nd time it was brought it was still missing the ham. They end up bringing me the ham, by that time, my sandwich was cold. Bacon was hard. It felt like I was chewing a hard piece of plastic. Cheese tasted like really low quality cheese. I just took 2 bites, the 2nd one I just couldn’t swallow it. Even giving it 1 star is being too generous. It is a cute restaurant. I love how they have it decorated. I know the waitress wrote my order right in the ticket, and her writing was pretty and clear so I don’t understand why they couldn’t get it right.
