A typical mountain trattoria with a stunning view of Lake Orta and the town of Omegna. Hearty dishes, and very friendly and helpful staff. If you like, you can visit the village, which is entirely dedicated to cats, with many paintings and dedications, and even a monument to the cat.

We'd heard great things about this place and decided to go there for Ferragosto. It couldn't have been a better choice!! The restaurant is in Brolo (VB), also known as the city of cats... Easily accessible by crossing the road from the restaurant. The restaurant has a small parking lot overlooking the valley and lake... The restaurant, however, has a veranda facing the street and a dining room with windows that frame the lake and mountains. Excellent hospitality and equally excellent service... With Mrs. Francesca, who despite the busy day, managed to dispense smiles and jokes. Lunch, given the occasion, was a fixed menu consisting of a platter of cured meats and cheeses and a bresaola carpaccio... Super flavorful cured meats that melted in the mouth. Followed by a mixed grill of meats, including spare ribs, steak, and salami... With a side of potatoes and salad. What can I say? Everything here is excellent too. The only flaw is that the place is far from home... Otherwise, we'd be regulars. So content. See you soon

We had the opportunity to have lunch in this location after visiting Brolo, the town of cats. We were welcomed by very kind staff, even if it was a little late for lunch. The food was excellent and the price was really reasonable: a water, half a liter of white wine, ham and melon, baked lasagna, grilled tomino cheese with salad, two coffees. We spent 24 euros. Recommended for quality and price.

After a trip to Orta San Giulio, we had the pleasure of dining here. We really enjoyed the pizza—more so than other renowned restaurants in the area that serve Neapolitan pizza. This is a variation on the Neapolitan version: in addition to the thin, light dough with a high crust, the semolina sprinkled on the pizza base before baking (a trick my grandmother from Trento also used) gives it an unexpected crispiness and is pleasant on the palate. A wide selection of pizzas, with combinations from the most classic to the most creative, prepared with typical and genuine ingredients. An à la carte menu featuring homemade local dishes is also available. Simple, practical, and no-frills service (this is the norm in the area, especially at the clubs—also expect generally longer service times), provided by courteous and friendly staff. A simple restaurant, in typical club style, suitable for everyone, with a lake view. The warm homemade zabaglione accompanied by Camporelli from Novara is the perfect final touch. The total for two people was 27 euros, so about 13 euros each.
