Fantastic.. recommend the whole menu!
One of my, if not my, favorite places to dine. I try to go here as often as possible. The food is fantastic, and the atmosphere is so relaxing. It feels like everyone cares about you there. If you haven't been here before, give it a try. I'm sure you won't regret it.
I ordered the prime rib as part of a take out order. The meat was very well seasoned and cooked correctly - a huge cut of meat, well over 16 ounces. Well-marbled and delicious.
One of my favorite breakfast places!
I have been driving from Lake County to N Wisconsin for decades and while I past by this place, never stopped in until the other day. Cool 50s style diner with food from the future. Some creative spins on food you have had before and oh are they good. Try the paninis. My son won't shut up about how much he loved it Him and I stopped in for a bite while towing our camper up north on a whim and now we will definitely be back. The food and service were AMAZING.
50's style diner service was good and food was delicious. We had a wrap, it was big and came with fries and soup. Breakfast is very good eggs cooked to perfectly and pancakes nice and fluffy.
This place is so amazing!!! The waitress was quick to come to our table, made a few jokes, and got us our food and drinks very quickly. The food is absolutely phenomenal! It reminded me of the diners of the past. This place is truly a hidden gem of Kenosha. I would 10/10 recommend this place to everyone.
This was such a wonderful place. Everything from the atmosphere, to the food and especially the service, from Kelly was outstanding. Truly the best dining experience I have ever received. Thank you so much for a great experience 😊
Food is excellent and service quick and friendly.
A fun take on a fifties diner! There was a large number of items on the menu and several looked good, but I went with their 45 bomb burger with bacon. It hit the spot to fulfill my craving. Breakfast was served all day and my kids enjoyed their pancakes. We all got milkshakes and the Oreo was our favorite. I would definitely go back!
So comfortable to come here!! Everyone is so great!! Good is superb!!
Great food, Great atmosphere, and great ownership!!!
Excellent place to eat. We all had different fish dinners.
went there for the first time yesterday. the diner is 50s themed including booths and chairs. nostalgic. all the staff was very friendly. my waitress was francesca. very nice and personable. got my order perfect. i ordered a tuna melt with vegtables which came out less than 10mins after ordering. my tuna melt was perfect. not too much mayo or salt. not runny like a lot of other restaurants. the menu is huge with something for whatever your tastes are. i strongly recommend.
FUN atmosphere, Good food & great fast service! I would recommend coming here for breakfast, lunch or dinner if in the area!
My mother and I absolutely love this place, food, atmosphere and staff! We always leave full with leftovers. Everyone is always so friendly
What a great place. The meal was great, the service was the best . A friend recommended this to us. I will eat here again.
I had the Turkey dinner and it was delicious, big portions that arrived piping out. My husband had a Cheeseburger, it was cooked medium just like he asked and it was juicy and delicious! The staff was very friendly and our food arrived quickly. We will definitely be going back ! Highly recommend!
Just an awesome place to get some great food!
This was a fun and quirky place. The menu was vast. I had a grilled cheese with turkey. It was absolutely delicious. The turkey slices were thick like they had cooked a turkey and cut them right off the breast. The bread was grilled to perfection was very fluffy and fall.I loved it. I do wish they would have provided more of the cranberry sauce that was supposed to be the topping. It was about a thimble sized portion. The wild decor was fun to look at while we were waiting.Lots of cute things.
This is a hidden gem. Walk in and take a step back in time, to the '60s, with candy apple red and metallic white furnishings, and walls plastered with images of early TV and film stars, records and the like. The friendly staff will guide you to your table or booth and give you a menu. The fare is quite extensive, from breakfast to supper, and everything in between. My personal favorite is the skirt steak. A nice juicy thick piece of meat, tender as butter, and so very flavorful is accompanied by soup or salad, veggies and your choice of potato. You won't be disappointed, and you won't empty your bank account either. On certain days you may even see the parking lot filled with classic cars. So, stop in and enjoy a great meal.
Happened upon this place a few weeks ago on the way home from Illinois and have already returned for another visit. Cute little old time diner with wonderful service, extensive menu, and delicious food at great prices! Finish off your meal with a slice of the carrot cake. It's AMAZING!!
Every time we go there we have good service good food and good atmosphere
Love coming here! They are so proficient and quick it’s a great place if you’re on a time crunch. They always give soup and a potato as well. The prices are so reasonable. Thanks for not price gouging like other restaurants around.
Very busy place. Good food and service. Lots of food options.
There’s nothing better than an old school diner that’s locally owned to make you feel good while also feeling like you are family. Food and service have always exceeded expectations. Would visit locally owned 100/1 over a chain.
Always good service and very positive atmosphere. It's our go to breakfast place.
1st time here and I loved it. Spinach/mozzarella omelet was so good. Love the old times feel. Very busy Sunday, food was ready fast.
Ginger and I were Quilt Shop Hopping and a clerk of a quilt shop suggested the Bristol 45 Diner. The exterior was nothing special, but when entering... it was a blast to the past! We both ordered sodas, a wrap that included fries with a choice of soup. The meal was MORE than enough as we couldn't eat it all! Good food in a delightful atmosphere! 🇺🇲👍❤🇺🇲
Alex is the best cook on staff! Everything is always delicious and great portions as well as fast service.
5. We went as a family five today during the busy time, but was able to grab a large table right away. We enjoy the decor, our waitress was very friendly, the manager stopped by because they remade my son's meal and they kept checking up on us. We were very happy with our experience and we definitely come back another time.
The quintessential 50s diner. The country- fried steak was over the top, home-made and delicious. And they have the classic open-faced roast beef sandwich. Ah, the good old days indeed. The diner is very well kept.
My wife and I stop into this diner for lunch before we went to Gurnee Mills Mall. Brings back memories. The Server was Outstanding, the food was fresh and hot and the atmosphere was Awesome. My wife had the Panini and I had the Smash burger. Very Good and tasty. When I paid the bill I was talking with Tricia (Manager/Owner) and told her about are experience. Highly recommend this place. 10 stars. Thank you Tricia, Karyn and Brad Fort Plainfield Illinois
I recently brekkied at Bristol 45 Diner with a client; we both enjoyed ourselves quite well. The diner is very clean and brightly lit; although it appeared full we were greeted warmly and immediately shown to a table. Our waitress was charming and friendly, and brought coffee and water very quickly; the coffee was strong and hot and she kept the cups filled! We didn't rush with our orders but we did not linger, either; our waitress did not 'hover' but she was very attentive. I ordered a skillet and it arrived piping hot and in almost no time at all. I couldn't believe it! WOW! It was very good although I wish it might have had more cheese; perhaps the next time I will ask for extra cheese. The skillet was quite a large portion; I could not finish my meal and so I asked the waitress for a box to take home. When paying our bill I was charged extra for using my credit card. Overall I enjoyed my experience and will plan to return.
Their skillets are the best!!! Anytime I'm in the Wisconsin area I have to stop in. The service is fast and friendly. The food is delicious and the prices beat any diner near me. Absolutely would recommend!
Y'all freaking nailed it! Our server was Donna, she was incredible. There's probably 200 people here, she has a table of 15 people and my coffee was always full and I drink really fast. Our food was perfect, it only took 10 minutes when we expected a wait. You guys far exceeded expectations! Price point was also awesome, we had 2 meals, 2 coffees and a shake and it was like 42$ 🤠👌i got breakfast, he got lunch, both were awesome 😎
Just happened upon it on a Sunday around 12pm while on our way to Lake Geneva. The restaurant was super busy, but we only had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. We were 2 adults and 2 9-year-olds. The food was good, and our waitress was super busy and STILL super attentive to us. The owner was hands-on, stopping by our table, checking how everything was, and even taking finished plates. And the restaurant was clean! It was a very nice experience, and I would definitely stop by again.
This is an excellent restaurant. The staff was so nice. The food was so good and so much of it. I took my side of soup home. I also bought day old soup for 5 dollars and it was a quart. The price of the meal was lower than other places.
Great oldies diner. Lots of fun collections of cars and 1950s nostalgia. Plenty of seating with tables, booths and a counter. Large menu of breakfast and lunch/dinner options with dessert options as well. I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap with tater tots. My order also can with a cup of soup (navy bean was my choice). I ordered a drink and lunch came out to $18.00. Enjoyable food and good service. Will return for more!
This place is a perfect 5 star restaurant. The people who work here are kind, check in often, and come back with food quickly. The atmosphere is very unique. It feels like a very old restaurant, but also well kept. The food is just outstanding, the shakes are amazing, even for my high expectations, and even with a large menu, all items are thought out and well done. After just one visit, I knew I would be coming back. Highly recommend, even if you have to go out of your way to come here. Only issues are the minimal vegetarian and vegan dishes, and lack of automatic doors, meaning everyone in a wheelchair could most likely have a hard time entering and leaving. Meaning they would have to not come alone. Besides that, the restaurant itself is a 10/10, but for accessibility, 9.25/10 all around
Delicious food I had eggs Benedict didn’t really care too much for the ham that was on there but the sauce and the eggs muffins were great. Maybe next time I would get it with bacon instead of the ham, my friend had corn beef, hash omelette, and hashbrowns. She really enjoyed that and their pancakes are the best I’ve ever eaten.
Started with the Cream of BLT soup. Yes, BLT. It was very flavorful, the croutons also had a nice smooth taste. Nothing over powering. The soup was half eaten before I remembered to take a picture. Sorry about that. I had the special of a prime rib sandwich and fries. After I took the picture, I had the server add mozzarella cheese to it. I would definitely go back!!!
First time here and won't be our last. Not far from Twin Lakes and wanted to try something different. Love the fact they offer breakfast all day so that's a win win for me. The server was nice and the food came out quick and it was delicious. It was filling up nicely by the time we left. Plenty of parking in the lot and hopefully old diners like this stick around for a long time!
Ask For Donna!!! She is wonderful. Best Dinner around. Friendly, warm and amazing service. Cozy restaurant and food is absolutely delicious. Plenty of table and booth seating. Fun decor and fun atmosphere. Plenty of spacious parking. Several handicapped parking spots available up front.
We did a day trip to Wisconsin the other day and stopped for lunch. We waited for about 20 minutes due to our party size. Once we got a table, we were greated with smiles. They were pretty busy. The decor was retro and we loved it. Our food was brought fairly quick. The portion sizes were substantial and enough to have leftovers. We forgot to take pictures until we had already dug in.
Service was great. Food was delicious. Loved the interior design. Good price point. Really enjoyed eating here.

Great diner ! I had the Meat lovers skillet , I added my own habanero pepper on top so no need for any hot sauce. It also came with pumpkin pancakes which was delicious! Fast friendly service!
Fabulous stop for a great breakfast. Staff is super friendly and service was quick and accurate. Food was delicious and portion sizes are rather large. Looking forward to returning soon.

Great food and service. This appears to be our Sunday breakfast destination now! Always crowded but fast service!
I had the hamburger and it was delicious. It came on a soft brioche bun with fries and soup. I took 1/2 home. I would say it’s a smash burger. Delicious

The breakfast we had was very good on our first visit. The country fried steak combo was good sized and didn’t disappoint. I asked for extra crispy hash browns and for the first time in a while, that’s exactly what I got! Many times you can ask but rarely is it delivered on so kudos to them for seeing out the request. The pancakes were good as well so I recommend those. We also got a skillet and let me tell you it had a great amount of sausage in it. I have been at other places that make the potatoes the star but if you are looking for the breakfast meat to be the star check this restaurant out!
Food is ok really good service
My family comes here quite often for breakfast usually, but also dinner. I prefer breakfast as their SKILLETS are VERY good and you can fully customize what you want in them. Dinner, to me, is not as good, but perhaps it depends on what you get. Overall, the service is wonderful and this is a very nice restaurant to visit (and support) in our area. Great place!
We were seated on the north side of the diner, and it was a little on the cool sideI had the fried cod, baked potato, cole slaw, corn, salad, and Iced Tea. My dining companion had the fried perch, French fries, cole slaw, corn, clam chowder, and a Sprite. Our fish was very delicious, but my dining companions French fries had a burnt taste and her drink tasted bad. They gave her another drink in a go cup instead of another glass. I was charged for a 2nd order of fries, which I did not complain but should have. They were a little under cooked. Their online menu has not been updated, so if you are going there for all, you can eat fried Cod. Don't expect it cause they do not have it on the menu. From what I have seen online about Bristol 45 Diner, it did not meet my expectations.
I love this place for the service and fun ambiance, but the quality of the food is pretty inconsistent, especially for the cost. I got a Italian beef melt for about $15 and it was on on two tiny pieces of white bread, gooey with cheese, and with very little beef. I think I'll stick with the basics next time.
Pleasant surprise. Good, simple comfort food at a great price. Quick, attentive service. I could take or leave the Hollywood 50s decor, but love that it's well lit, quiet enough to have a conversation with the person sitting across from you, and there are no slot machines.
Food is good they start to close before the guests are done. They ask you to pay and start vacuuming. So come early
Comfortable diner. Decent food. Great service.
We stopped in for a late breakfast yesterday. The place, at 10:30, was buzzing. We were seated immediately and served coffee promptly. I have always said that it's hard to screw up breakfast and in this case, the saying stayed true. Our eggs were cooked perfectly and the pancakes were delicious, light and fluffy. I asked for extra crispy hash browns and the kitchen delivered. They we're crispy and perfect. And the coffee kept coming.
Been here 3 times now when I visit my pops. Service is punctual and friendly and the food is good.
Food was excellent, and plenty of it. Had my full and definitely over did it. Could have taken half home.
My wife and I decided to take a trip up to Wisconsin and see what was going around the area and we were a little hungry so we decided to google some restaurants around the area and this one came up in the search so we decided to try it out, but we ordered our food I got the rib eye steak and eggs I ordered mine rare mine came out and it was well done and not what I ordered what a big disappointment to say the least , and my wife got the farmers steak medium rare and it came out and it was really well done and not even a steak it was ground beef nothing on the menu said that was what it was horrible, but the plus was the staff and our waiter was really nice and very attentive but I don’t think we are going to go back there anytime soon
I wanted to stop by here for a while, but never had the chance. An opportunity came on July 10, and in all honesty I can say i enjoyed my experience in this retro styled diner. We had a very energetic waitress named Chris who was absolutely fantastic. By the tume our drinks were halfway done she stopped by and refilled them really quickly. Food came out piping hot and really quickly. The 45 Bomb burger was juicy and well seasoned and the sample platter appetizers was overall really good. The wings were average though and as for the 45 parmesan fries i can honestly say never again. One bite in and they tasted like they were a combination of old or something else. It was horrendous. The blintzes were good and filled with a lot of cream cheese, although the only recommendation I can make us to maybe put the filling to be with cream cheese and some kind of syrup or jam inside to cut the strong flavor of the cream cheese a bit. Overall O guve this place 4 stars out of 5 Pros: * Great Prices * Great Food Overall *Fantastic Service Cons: *Bad Parmesan Fries
Cute spot. Exactly what you expect at a diner. Many food options and the food was good. Served very quick. Definitely a busy spot but we were able to get in a get a table no problem.
Food is okay, but they should filter the water, nasty taste even in the lemonade.\nOtherwise good food very affordable pricing. The atmosphere brings back memories of that malt shops

Fun atmosphere. Loud. True diner. I had the 3 tacos. Average at best. Lots of happy customers.
This place used to be a favorite. In my most recent trip to town, I took my mom here and was disappointed at how poor the service was. The waitress was rude, and I had to wait a long while to pay the bill.
Food was not good had breakfast omelet and pancakes from the kids menu and a Buffalo grilled wrap that was awful and bland tasting. Cheese curds quantity was alot but they had been over fried. We could barely chew them. Expensive for what we ordered.
I went to 45 Diner this morning feeling nostalgic it was my parents favorite restaurant and I was missing them this morning so I figured I would go back and give them another shot I had the meat lover skillet with over medium eggs and wheat toast it was okay today the waitress was friendly the service was okay and the atmosphere even though they were busy seem to be all right I don't know if I'll be back yet or not as a normal customer but when I'm missing my Mom and Dad I'll be back for the Nostalgia
We have been coming here for years. Today my husband ordered an omelet and requested to the waitress, no browning on the omelet. The omelet came browned on both sides. The onions, peppers and ham in the omelet were not chopped up well. My Italian beef was very good. The waitress was great! Prices are a bit high. Very noisy.
Portions keep shrinking and prices keep rising. The BLT soup tasted like plaster of paris.
Cute place, friendly service. Bad coffee and hash browns had a funky taste. Decent egg white omelette that was a normal size, great bacon.
I ordered the 45 Grilled Cheese, which is supposed to be roasted turkey, cheese, and cranberry mayo on sourdough. There was not cranberry mayo on the sandwich and therefore it was really dry. The appetizers we got were the cheese nuggets and mac and cheese bites and those were good, but I’m guessing this place is probably best at breakfast food and maybe burgers. They really need to reduce their menu and focus on one genre of food. You can get Mexican, Italian, American, and much more here, and I feel like they should reduce their menu and focus on making the food better. I would go back to try their breakfast but the lunch I had was not good.
First, what I did like: 1. It has a great atmosphere, great servers, great memorabilia. See photos. That is about it. Why I have it 2 stars: First, the food was terrible. There was 4 if us there at the time having a variety of foods. We started out with a combo appetizer. The hot wings were cooked well but cold in the middle. The other items common to a appetizer plate were okay though. Two of us had Mexican dishes, then there was a dish of beef liver, and a dish of meatloaf. I had a hard taco meal that came with 3 Taco's, by the time I got my dish the Taco's were so soggy that I couldn't eat them like a hard taco. Plus there was little flavour, which was the general consensus of the guests I was with. One last thing, the portions were huge! That might be great for some, but for me it's a waste. Also for me, I feel I should eat it all, and feel guilty if I don't. Some food might be great for take home and rewarm, not Taco's, or anything that has lettuce. They just don't do well in a microwave. Non of use left satisfied, and won't go back again...
I had the Stuffed French Toast. It was luke warm when it was brought to the table. So were the sausage links. The server brought it back to the kitchen to have it remade. When she brought it back, all the ingredients were on or in their own dishes. I had to build a myself. Before she brought it back out, she explained how the French toast was supposed to be hot, and the filling and fruit were supposed to be cold. I felt that she was speaking down to me. When the bananas were brought out, they were warm. Not happy with today's food or service. The picture is my DIY stuffed French toast.
Yes, they were busy, but not overwhelmed. The waitress had an attitude when ask where the rest of the meal was. The rest of the meal came out when the eggs were cold, and she almost threw the rest of it at use. Then I found that they did not clean the seat because I had someone else's portion of a meal on my pants. This is not the first time we have been to Bristol 45, and all the other times, even when they were busy, they were terrific.
