The man at the window was friendly...polite
Went through the drive thru this evening and I don't know if the young man could tell it's been a rough time lately or if he just wanted me out of his drive thru. Either way he handed me my receipt and then my food and said have a good evening. It took me a few seconds to understand that I didn't need to keep digging through my purse for more change. I'm pretty sure to him it was not that big of a deal but to me it meant a lot and I just wanted to tell that young man thank you again and I wish there were more people out there like him
Always got to get me some chicken tenders as well as a Sprite it's fire 🔥🔥
Food was good. Desserts were also delicious. Service was a bit slow, although we were a group of 8. Atmosphere was good. Our group was able to linger and enjoy our lunch.
Usually wierd, or himeless type of people in the parking lot. Extremely uncomfortable!
I think I had my best McDonalds experience ever today. My nuggets were fried to perfection and came out super fast, the tea was fresh, I was greeted when I came in and asked if I needed help with the kiosk, and the whole place was clean. Corporate managers were there, but I'm hopefully this is the the start of a better restaurant, and it isn't something just for show while the boss is in house.

This place was pretty great. They actually filled up the carton with fries. Most other places, barely put any fries in there. I’m definitely coming here again just because they filled up the carton with fries. I will even drive extra miles if I’m far away.
Fast drive thru service, food was hot and fresh. Even gave us an extra mcchicken. Best McDonald's in town.
Their play place was small children friendly!!!! Not many that are left include the wee ones and the girls had an absolute blast in the. While the cleanliness was sub satisfactory I carry travel size Lysol and did some disinfectant and cleaned our table before AND AFTER.
Better experience, ordered from the value menu, (value menu, ha, ha!🤣) food was fresh, place was clean, lady who gave me my food was courteous. Came back to try the Homestyle burger combo, food, fries were hot, fresh and the burger tasted good. Cashier was polite, restaurant was clean. Much improved overall.
Louis has always gone above and beyond every time I've gone through the drive through. Definitely brings the ba ba ba bah bahhhhh to the McDonald's experience.

Advertises as 24 hour, but drive through only late at night. Asked for two fish sandwich meals and they gave out 3 sandwiches. Nearly $20 for the pleasure. New record for expensive.

The pnly thing about these restaurant they forget alot of stuff. Check your order before you leave i know i live close by it and i go cuz my kids and 1 out of 5 times they forget a burguer. Put creamers on coffe, bbq sauce you ask for or give the wrong order besides that most workers are friendly
Whoever was running the first & second windows taking orders-super friendly and nice! Food was fresh fast and hot. Removed a star because McDonalds shrinks portion sizes. Other than that it's a HUGE step up from my last visit. (5pm, 12/2)

Used kiosk to order, following instructions, and completed order only to find out they could not find my order. So, had to order all over again. Employee seemed bothered that I had to do this. Not very friendly store. Barely said thank you. I needed sweetener for my tea and that was another adventure in mediocrity. Crew seemed very out of it. Not sure but morale seems down. I guess that is to expected these days. Yes, I tried this place again. Pretty much the same; crew looked frustrated and overwhelmed. Not a smile to be found. Kiosk is useless. Burger was dry. Fries were ok. No tea available, and did not want to "bother" the crew.
It's not like it used to be things have changed the more modern world is taking it impact the food is still garbage if you just want something quick to eat not for health benefits of course swing by grab a quick burger
There was what seemed to be an army of workers, but not many running the front counter. I had ordered ahead via the app, and after I got inside I waited about 20 mins to receive it. Food was good as expected.
This specific restaurant has taken longer and longer every time I’ve ordered to get me my order. I used to be able to pull up and by the time I got to the window grab my sandwich today. It took 19 minutes from the time that I paid to get my Sausage, egg, and cheese McMuffin. New management? Idk, but it definitely seems that way because something has changed.
Pros: food was warmish Cons: I sat there for an hour waiting on two burgers and some nuggets while the manager goofed off. 30 min waiting on curbside order, then went inside and let them know and waited another 30 min. There was no line and plenty of staff so I guess they just don’t care. And they still forgot my drinks, naturally.

I got a happy meal for my granddaughter and it was fine. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich combo. The DRINK was fine. The spicy chicken sandwich was literally TERRIBLE. I had maybe a teaspoon of sauce and it was on one corner of the bun. The chicken fillet was TOUGH. Only 2 pickle slices. The sandwich was dry, hard to eat and very SMALL. The French fries were floppy, not crisp at all. Never have I been so disappointed in an eatery. If..... You can call if that!

Chicken sandwich was bad , none edible pieces. Fries barely warm and no salt- I mean No salt. Difficulty in explaining need a chicken sandwich combo and chicken nuggets . It was a bad experience. At window ordered an extra medium fries. Got one thing at a time, each time having to reshow receipt.
Drive-thru takes ages and when you pull up to the window they tell you to pull off the side and wait longer. It's not ok to wait 30 minutes for a breakfast sandwich.
I'm normally a patient customer, but we were on the box to order McDonald's employee. Greet us and told her to give her a second. We waited but there was another customer just drove pass the box where to order and she order directly to the window so we heard it while she was ordering the employee just talking and taking her sweet time to cash her out. My husband said hello and that the only time she took our order. When we pulled out the window again, we waited for 10 minutes. we almost drove away because the customer that cut, she is still not cash out, and they keep chit-chat. I just told my husband to relax and let it go because it only beside it's only 5AM. I was hoping the employee would apologize, but it didn't happen, not even say thank you for your business. Wrost part it not even Uber, Door dash order.
You could order a cookie and they’ll still send you to one of the numbered spots where you’ll wait 20 min. 9/10 times they’ll forget a part of your order. Employees are straight up lazy with a terrible attitude. I don’t expect anyone in the service industry to constantly have a smile but these people look like they’re being held hostage. This girl forgot my drink then has the nerve to sigh and roll her eyes lol. It’s McDonald’s so no one is asking for top tier service but if yall are gonna be jacking up the prices then at least hire people who wanna be there.
The two stars aren't for the employees but for the management or higher ups. For this being a 24hr location they are very understaffed. Only 2 people working in one of the most busiest parts of town. I have 8 cars behind me and 8 at the window lane its unbelieveable. Also getting feedback from the employees that this location hires people that aren't reliable to come in. Props to the employees that have to deal with these conditions yall are amazing and pull through day after day and night after night!!
I honestly hate McDonald's but my daughter wanted to come. I used the kiosk did not get a receipt. I put to eat here got a number sat at a table close to the front. We never got our order. I waited 25mins before going up to ask for our order. Then tell me that someone already took our order. Which when you get a number to put on your table the worker is supposed to come to your table. No one ever came to our table. I'm absolutely boycotting every single McDonald's. The only difference is the one is the cleanest. You shouldn't give numbers if you're not going to walk in the dine in area. At least the food we got was fresh so that is the only reason I don't give one star all around. Fast food you're supposed to get under 5mins. Wake up.

I love mcd, I had work for the company +5yrs and going here last night and seeing the manager looking at the counter like “nobody” was at the lobby for like 30-40min it’s crazy too me… there was DoorDash delivery ppl and costumers, what a shame have 2 managers who cannot coordinate how to run the store & on top of tht they had food seating for a good 10-15min on the line… the lobby was a mass and the managers didn’t even look at my way when I call them out to help ppl on the lobby, one of the crew members just look at me and said “1 sec, we busy on drive-thro” i understand but how a crew members had to come out of her job to tell me when I have 2 managers right in front of me just looking at each other.
There's mold all over the play area Got here at 10 am, stood in front of the register until 10:25 and the ONLY reason they took my order is because I started yelling into the back asking if they had anyone working the register. This is absolutely ridiculous, there's no reason at all to have people standing there waiting for almost 30 minutes just to place their order Edit, came back later to hear the manager Jordan cursing out every employee and slamming items well within customer sight. By far the worst experience at a McDonalds! Placed my order at 12:04 pm on a Friday at the druve through. Paid, got my food order and was told to pull up to tue front and wait for drinks.Ok, fine, it's lunch hour, they're busy, it's understandable. Waited some 5 minutes then a lady came out to tell me that they ran out of ice tea and it will be a few more minutes before it's available; offered me different drinks, I declined saying I can wait a few minutes. After waiting 15 plus minutes no one came out to bring the drinks or to update me on a wait time or anything. I tried calling their number, it was a busy signal. Since the dinning room was closed due to pandemic, I had to drive back through their drive through again and wait. By then all the food was already cold and I brought it to their attention only to be told to pull up again and they would bring me my drinks only. They brought out 2 drinks and when I told them I'm missing another drink they responded in a rude way telling me I already got my drinks. I showed her the receipt that showed 3 ordered; only then they gave me the 3rd drink. If this was just my order I would not even care about the drink and would have left after 5 minutes of waiting; but I had 3 meals that I went to pick up for others who were waiting on their lunch. I have worked in food industry myself and understand how busy lunch hour gets, but I feel that it is definetly unacceptable to have to wait that long(40 minutes total)for "fast food" and be given attitude on top of it. Needless to say, food was cold and nasty by the time it finally made it to people.
I ordered through the mobile app twice in the last three time I’ve been asked To pull up out of the drive through to wait more. Nether time was I given a reason nor and time frame I’d have to wait for. When my good finally comes out (5-8 minutes later) no apologies for the wait nor are we thanked for waiting. Unfortunately since this location is closest to my house I’ll probably go back but if it wasn’t the closest I wouldn’t be back. I’ll explain to everyone about the BAD service this location gives and recommend not giving your money to this location.
Took more than an hour of drive thru to get my pre-ordered food. Order was incomplete and missing items. Severe understaffing from a corporate entity is just sad and annoying at best.
Sit in drive thru for over 20 minutes. If you are short staffed just let the customers know. I had to ask if anyone was still there on the intercom and never got a response. This place just stopped taking people's orders. If you know it will be a long wait time just let the customers know when you first greet them on the speaker. Why ignore me for over 20 minutes? I went to Whataburger instead. They deserve my money not McDonald's.
I have always gone to this location and my only complaint was their waiting times to get the food but this last experience was the worst! I got the quarter bundle meal and when I get home there is a bite on my husband burger. This is disgusting! What kind of person bites a burger and let's it get to their customer? This will be the last time I will go to this location. Horrible service!
No matter what time of day I come service takes more than 20 minutes and that’s with me ordering ahead in the app. It’s 5:48pm on 1/30/25 and neither lane has gotten a response from the Intercom in the drive thru. We’ve already been waiting more than 5 minutes, I’m assuming it was longer because the truck in front of me drove off without ordering. Last chance I give this location a try…..Came back to add on, got to the window to pick up my order 2 strawberry crème pies and a basket of fries. The girl at the window said they only had one strawberry and crème pie and that it’d be 12 minutes for more of that flavor. Like seriously?! I just waited 30 minutes for an online order, more pies could have been made while I was already waiting. Please just close this location down if this is the service this location has.
I'm from out of town and this is the first time I've ever been to this location. But as I was ordering. A worker by the name of Dinny was being extremely disrespectful to a couple of customers all because they spoke Spanish and no English. When we tried to assist by talking to the customers in Spanish to see what they needed help with, Dinny started saying, you don't understand the way the system works. Dinny started to try and talk over me. Then as she charged the customers, she says that they needed to pay with smaller bills because the total was $32.08 and they were paying with 2 $20 dollar bills. That's ridiculous. She was disrespectful through the whole process and treated them and myself like we were nothing. The manager was a young gentleman who slammed my tea on the counter when I asked him for my drink. He didn't have a name tag nor McDonald's shirt. It was light blue and the whole experience was ridiculous.
This has to be the absolute worst McDonald's in San Antonio. Y'all need new and better management. No "fastfood" here. Order food and go park for about 10-15 minutes+

I understand that during peak hours like for example, breakfast, it can be busy. I stopped at this location on Friday (Cage and San Pedro near Northstar Mall). All I ordered was an egg, bacon, cheese combo. I waited 35 minutes, and I noticed my order disappeared from the screen. I kindly asked how long on my order. The manager, by the name of Jessica, let me know my order was next.. Another 10 minutes passed. At this point, I requested my money back. They also never gave me my small coffee. The same manager, Jessica, refunded my money, but to me, she has no manager experience. She didn't even apologize. Like, I am sorry about your order we are really busy...you know something!!! She just gave me my money with an attitude. The lobby was full of customers waiting to order, and some of the workers just stood around and didn't have the courtesy to at least say, "Someone will be with you in a moment " McDonald's are normally pretty fast with getting their orders out. Not THIS LOCATION!! Very bad. I am not from the area but hope other San Antonio McDonald's are better than this location.
On multiple occasions, I have been here for coffee. I add syrup, and pay for it (about 2$ extra), and they routinely forget to put it in. When asked about it, they say yes they put it in, when in fact they did not. Lazy double checking! And when I get to work, I call and nobody answers. And it is not uncommon to wait 15-20mins for a coffee either. Next time I go there, it will be to complain that they take my $ without giving me what I ordered. I will not order from this location again.
We stood there for a solid 10mins without even being acknowledged. Not even a, "Hello!". We had some changes that couldn't be made on the kiosk, so we had to wait for the register. Why have a register if you don't have someone on it? The gentleman in front of us had been here for even longer. We all lost our patience and left. In less than 5mins, 4 people walked out because of this. The employees, who i assumed were being trained, saw us and said nothing to the one training them. We'll be sure to avoid this McDonald's in the future.
Second night in a row they're telling us that the night time that the card reader isn't working I literally went there earlier in the day and it was working fine just seems like a reason to tell customers to go away
Waited in line for 30 minutes to get my food. They gave me my food. When I got home opened the bag and realized they didn't give me my home style burger. All I got was fries and the nuggets I ordered for my kid. Was gonna go back but it was already going to be 1030. Did not want to wait in line again. Very disappointed. Always check your bag before you leave. This time I didn't and it cost me money.
Terrible service they take forever and customer service upfront does not care to see you waiting for help. Management does not give a care of your comments for better service. I waited and even the food delivery people picking up orders were saying it’s always a long wait. Lobby floor full of thrown food. Customers were walking out on the wait. No hopes for the place. I’ve eaten at dine-in restaurants faster than it takes to pick up a mobile order in the drive through with only 3 cars in line, and it’s like this every time I’ve gone.
If u want to be in a drive thru lane for 30 minutes with one car ahead of you ,this is the place to be. If u want cold food , flat soda, they have you covered. There should be a -⭐ as a rating for businesses like this.

Came here a few days ago and asked an older lady with glasses at the front counter if I could get a key to use the bathroom because it was locked. She got rather snippy, bluntly saying there wasn’t a key. I asked her how to go in, and she waited a minute before saying that I'd have to get buzzed in. I asked her if she could buzz me in, and used the bathroom. After returning and my husband getting our food and we were getting in the car, he tells me that this same lady was badmouthing me and looking to him as if he would agree with her. He wouldn't tell me what she said. I was very confused as to why she acted like that. I will note that my husband is White, and I'm Black, so the only conclusions I can come to (as much as I hate it) is that she either had a problem with us because we're an interracial couple, or because of me. We still plan on coming back to this location because it's near us, but if I see this particular employee again, I will be asking that another person provide service for us. Her behavior was unacceptable.
3 times in the last month my daughter has wanted a nugget happy meal on her way home from school. 3 times I've seen at least 3 other cars get their food first despite being at the front of the line. Consistently slow service. Go somewhere else.
I understand that some people don’t Speak fluently English I have the patience to work with them. But the manager Elizabeth when I told her I used a promo and was still charged (mind you I never had an attitude.) she grabbed my receipt and then threw it because she was going to refund it and proceeded to be rude. I didn’t ask for her to be rude nor upset because she actually had to work instead of just standing there. The restaurant smelled like poop. Just not satisfied at all with her attitude.
This place is the worst. Always forgetting food, whole orders, cold fries, wrong drinks list goes on. Place is good to look at from afar. The people they hire don't understand English or Spanish makes the experience horrible. I get it equal equality but maybe try hiring people who speak the most language spoken in the area.

We were in line waiting for close to an hour, I don't know why the wait was so long. The lady at the window was nice but when asked why they take so long,she said people had a tendency of cutting in line and then picking up other people's food. She said it happens all the time. They didn't have any hot chocolate,machines were down or broken...no buffalo sauce cause they ran out,I even gave her my discount code from the app and she couldn't enter it for whatever reason. The food came out good but that's too long of a wait to get 3 orders.
I went to get 3 dip cones and the 1st 2nd are ok 3rd one lady gave me her hand covered in Chocolate. As if she didn't know what she was doing. I have this thing if i go somewhere and food, doesn't look good. I can not eat it I have to say I can not ever eat a ice cream at this McDonalds
Waited for 30 minutes for a curbside order I never received. There were several Doordash drivers that had been waiting for over 30 minutes when I arrived. The manager didn't even have the courtesy to come talk to us. She sent a crew member, who said that he didn't even want to be there. Upper management needs to do some serious house cleaning. It was total chaos that no one could control.
So first off the lady that work tonight was sweet but they did not listen to a single thing we said. I asked for a 4a large meal. They charged me for just the crispy sandwich and a drink. No fries ( granted she gave me fries) and THE SANDWICH WAS A MCCHICKEN NOT A 4a chicken crispy sandwich. Beyond dissatisfied! Allergic to lettuce! Can not even enjoy my meal! Will never recommend this McDonald’s or even go here again.
System has been down the last 3 times i went in and they are accepting cash only. I paid ahead with the mobile app, and they cant even look at my order confirmation to give me my food.
I never leave reviews but my experience was terrible. Got ignored by the workers so I used the faulty machines. The manager couldn't even fix it. The food was so oily too. As a fast food worker I would never treat my costumers this way. DO BETTER. Definitely not coming back.
We all know mcdonald's isn't the best and when it comes to fast food, you have your good locations and bad locations... This is absolutely one of the bad locations. The picture of my large fries says it all. It looks like the dumped a happy meal order of fries into a large container and sold it to me for $2.50... coupled with the fact that my coke had about 6 pieces of ice floating at the top of it, this mcdonald's locations should be ashamed of it's workers, I know I am....sad

People are great, but obvious management issues; constantly understaffed, this is my third time in drive through seeing people leaving because of wait time. This is ridiculous. I just waited 45 minutes for my mobile order… I could have been in and out of a restaurant in that time, what’s the point of McDonald’s convenience if it’s not convenient?

I come to the Miss McDonald's every single day and I started using their mobile app.Because that's how they really want you to order your food.But if a meal comes with a coffee or an orange juice it doesn'tu make sense that you can't exchange one for the other when you get there. I mean.My kiddo can't drink coffee for breakfast.He's ten.😑🙄 i guess. I won't be using their stupid app anymore.Since apparently it causes such issues. I work overnight and these burgers look terrible. One looks like it was bitten into and they both are super dry as hell with no condiments on my patties. The cashier informed me "Cash only". It hit her with a Uno Reversal "I have cash" and got a big annoyed sigh. I never eat late anywhere but today was a special occasion due to issues at my job. Wasted my money and my lunch waiting for this food. The cashier didn't give me my receipt either.
Can you put someone at the drive thru who speaks and understand English dude can never get an order right .isn’t the first time .
The WORST! We were in the drive through for good 45 mins at-least We seen three cars in-front of us getting incorrect orders and then we were next and we were hoping our order will be good but nope 👎 we were told to park at the last window and wow what a horrible experience it was all incorrect order again so we waited to get our entire order fixed. Do yourself a favor and dont come here ever worst worst experience ever
To the managers at this location. Please take the time and train all employees how to make an ICE COFFEE ! Twice I’ve been here and I can see employees having to redo my coffee multiple times . They don’t know difference between caramel drizzle and syrup . Always forget one of the two . Maybe the location on blanco should give some lessons. They always get it right ! Think this will be my last time for your location!
After waiting 20 minutes in a drive-through, they let me know that they were out of milk and could not make a drink. Super slow service.
It's honestly incredible how poor they are after around 10pm. I'm not sure if they're not staffed or just refuse to complete orders. I've door dashed a few times there and am forced to cancel orders due to waiting in line for an hour. It's happened many times. Please please avoid this place after dinner time.
I’ve had the same issue with the last several orders I’ve gotten here. The employees at this location seem to have something against giving me the fries that I pay for. If I pay for two large fries, I would appreciate receiving two large fries, and if they want to give me less, that’s fine, but don’t charge me for a large. I order from this location often, but as shorting us the food we pay for has become the norm here, I will be taking my business elsewhere.
Absolutly Terrible. We waited 30 minutes just to drive to the Pull Up Window and Still Have No one Help Us For Another 10 Minutes. All in all, an entire waste of our time.
We sat in the drive thru with 3 other cars for 10-15min. No one’s order was taken. We had to call the restaurant phone number to get help, still no one took our order. To this day we are still in the drive thru
Your employees are telling customers monopoly is over when they get called out for products missing the peels and that happened to me x3 yesterday on the forgetting the peels at this very location. People like myself are dedicating time and money at a chance to win and just participate cause when I was a kid I wasnt able to like I am now as an adult so its really disappointing when the employees could care less about the joy and excitement it brings people and my kid to just get to peel them and win an ice cream cone we will have to wait 20 mins for. I even waited so long for my curbside order the app said I had already received my food when nothing was brought to me. Then the COOKIES. Just look at the picture your time, money and frustration gets you. When I returned to get a full refund because NO ONE answered the phone the entire day I had called cause again I had to complain multiple times about the wait. The manager said 0 words. I tell him what, when, why and how and he simply takes my cookies and goes to make more. After not even making sure thats what I wanted he made me wait, handed them to me like I was the issue, and when I said out loud I didnt eben want this I wanted my money, no response just turned around and went about his shift. As part of managment for my job, I dont even know where to start with that behavior!
Horrible service here never come here cause they will never pay attention to you. You’re waiting for like half an hour and when you do talk to someone, they just say oh sorry. If you come here, recommend to use the kiosk and the manager is not helpful. She’s just staring, not doing nothing more important the drive-through than the people inside so don’t come inside go through the drive-through.
The worst McDonald's I have ever been the employees was rude acting like no care in the world I asked for the manage, I waited for awhile, I felt like I was being ignored so I had to ask the employee for the manager again. I talked to the manager. Why my online order was taking so long I ordered it at 8:00 in the morning by time I got there it was close to 8:30 My order was still not ready as I was talking to the manager she didn't even care she was just like okay sorry so I asked for a refund instead of helping me out she was just like go on your app and she turned her back and walked away I thought that was so unprofessional I'm pretty much done with McDonald's. I guess customer service does not matter
Waited for 15 minutes for a 20 pc nuggets and cooked to order fries . Finally got my order until I asked for it in lane 1. Fries came back hot but NO SALT . I don’t know if they did it out of anger but If I’m paying money do not short me on what needs to be done .
Extremely disappointing experience. We waited over an hour for our food, and the only reason we stayed was because we had already paid. If you value your time and money, I strongly suggest going elsewhere. Unfortunately, based on other reviews, this seems to be a recurring issue at this location. The manager, Joshua, offered no real help, and the staff showed little accountability. Employees including Arleth, Santino, Elijah, and Trinadad saw us waiting and chose to ignore us. When we finally addressed the issue, they made excuses instead of owning up to the poor service. The restaurant was also unclean—tables were dirty and the smell inside was off-putting. This place clearly lacks basic standards of cleanliness and customer service. We will not be returning.
Cashed out at 8:17 p.m., waiting more than 20 minutes for TWO meals, 2 cars that were behind us got their food first. Mind you, theres was NO line infront of us, and we were the first of eight cars. We don't get an apology or explanation as to WHY we waited so long, then served soggy and cold fries that aren't even full. Hadn't tried McDonalds in months, and now I remember why. Couldn't offer another menu item for free for some mediocre food. At least in whataburger, the employees apologize and give a reason why it's such a long wait and offer an apple pie or cinnamon roll as an apology. Spend more than $20 tor nothing. How disappointing and revolting.
