Food was really good, cooked perfectly, our server Tony was amazing and took excellent care of my husband and I for our anniversary. Definitely will come back !🍽
This place was fantastic! It was our first time here and will definitely go back again. Our waitress was very nice and friendly 😊 👌 We were celebrating our 25th yr anniversary and Valentine's Day ❤️
Definitely 5 stars. It was a marvelous experience, we dropped by during a travel to get a good steak, and the decision was wonderful. We had a main fillet with a Quilt young cab (2017), excellent combination very recommended, the high quality of the steak and the subtle finish of the wine made it perfect for an awesome dinner, regretfully we may not be there in a while since it's not close by. Waiter made the experience more enjoyable.
Restaurant week in San Antonio is a great time to try new restaurants. We chose from this special menu, thick, hearty stew, tender, perfectly cooked and full of flavor filet mignon, and a glass of red wine. The bread basket had a variety of rolls accompanied by a savory butter. To finish the meal we had a citrus glazed cheese cake. The atmosphere was elegant and beautiful decorated. Altogether an enjoyable night.
Always have a fantastic experience here. The steaks and sides are stellar and the wait staff is always attentive. Bring back the creamed spinach, and add the strawberry butter cake to the year round menu!!!
Fleming's has the best online ordering and curbside service I've ever experienced. To place my order, I created a profile using my Facebook account. From there, placing an order was very straightforward. I like that I was able to set the time for my order to be ready. I chose to have my order ready at 6:15 p.m.. I got to the restaurant at 6:13 p.m. and as I was backing into the curbside parking spot, my order was coming out. The food was packaged proficiently and the temperature was perfect. From condiments to utensils we had everything we needed. I ordered a medium rare tomahawk and it was cooked to perfection. They even had the bone wrapped in foil for us. The brussel sprouts were not over cooked and were seasoned to perfection. The mashed potatoes were just right. It made our ordinary night special because we were not expecting everything to be as great as it was!
We ate here to celebrate graduation from training in San Antonio. This was an elegant venue with nice atmosphere and attentive, skilled service. I had the filet mignon topped with a small lobster which was excellent. The waiter warned us they tend to cook their meats a bit on the rarer side. I went up to medium well and this was excellent. The bread and sides were also delicious. Top that off with their chocolate lava cake with ice cream and we had a meal to remember!
Very very very good steak. Got the 11oz filet mignon. Expertly done but I'll add I ordered mine medium rare and my steak was fairly rare. Didn't have one problem with it though because they have very high quality meats. Sides were great, atmosphere is very nice and intimate. One of the better steak places in town. I do enjoy, everytime.
Came in to kill some time for a movie The host was great The bartender was awesome 👌 The bread while waiting for my steak 😋 Fresh soft and the butter 🧈 😋 😌 The steak was delicious The service was amazing 👏 They are very attentive I would come back without a doubt To Bring a date Or A Celebratory lunch This place is truly amazing
Celebrating a birthday at Flemings was a great choice. The atmosphere is phenomenal, the service was excellent and the food was sublime. It took longer than expected but I think that was because a member of my party ordered a Tomahawk steak. This is a great date night place, special occasion, or any occasion. Lol. A bit pricey, but the quality is worth it. As a vegetarian the sides were great. Creamed spinach, cauliflower mash, huge onion rings. Love it!!
Upscale dining. Classic speak easy music sets the mood. We've been here a few times for social hour - AKA happy hour. We shared the tasty Bourbon apricot glazed meatballs, Tempura Shrimp & the filet mignon sandwich. *We've been here before for the "Sunday Table" had the slow roasted beef tenderloin & it's like butta. Mmm so good. Great wine selection. Social Hour is from 4pm to 6pm nightly. Service is on point.
My favorite server is back! Micah has always taken care of us. He is fun and professional. He goes above and beyond to guarantee your dining experience. You won't find anyone better anywhere! I can't wait to come see him again!
This was my second time at Flemings. Everything about this place is amazing from the atmosphere, the food, and the best customer service I’ve experienced at any fine dining restaurant. Our waiter Darren was amazing and was always on top of everything. Highly recommend!
Great place to get a great steak. Service was great also. Had the Tomahawk steak, which was cooked to perfection, seared amazingly, and seasoned just right. The mashed potatoes were thin but very tasty. The chipotle Mac and cheese was also very good; just make sure you like scallions before ordering. Loved the crème brûlée and the olive oil cake was decent. Cocktails were very well made.
Food was high quality & delicious. Mocktail was exceptional! Our server was Travis and he was attentive and kind. We were too full for dessert but he still brought out truffles for us to take and a “happy anniversary” plate. Loved everything about our experience and look forward to our next time visiting!
Great tasting ribeye steak with a bake potato. Other sides are asparagus that was a little tough and the mash potatoes that were really good. Had some cocktails and they tasted really good, maybe a little small for the price you pay. We went on Tomahawk steak night with some friends and that looked amazing. Since my wife and I take our steak at different degrees it wasn't in the cards for us. Very expensive so it definitely a special occasion place.
Heard good things and they delivered. It was a company event and the fillet mignon was on point. I will say the humus was not to my liking but that was not enough to lower my rating.
Excellent place for dinner. The steak was good! It's a little bit expensive wine. I will have drinks at home before go to dinner. First time I was very disappointed in Fleming's Prime Steakhouse. First of all, we have to wait for a very long time to get our order. The sald was terrible. Tomato was spoiled, and everything was very stale. The first time, I was ordered fish and again disappointed. Fish was cold and tasteless. I don't think we can come back anytime soon
Date night @Fleming’s Tomahawk Tuesday! Such an amazing deal for $140. Salads were great - fried capers on the Caesar made it special - and the shared bone-in giant steak was done to a perfect medium and way more than we could eat. We made good choices in the Brussels sprouts and lobster chipotle mac & cheese for sumptuous sides. The star/pièce de résistance for me, although I was already too full, was the Gooey Chocolate Butter Cake. It was light yet rich and decadent - almost fluffy and melt-in-your-mouth, adorned with chocolate and caramel sauces. Over the top delish! Frank provided excellent service as well. Kudos to Fleming’s for a stellar and affordable fine dining experience.
David and Sarah took fantastic care of my wife and I during a social hour. The cocktails were expertly crafted, food was premium quality and their service was kind, courteous and professional. Everyone deserves to start off their weekend with an experience hosted by this team!
As a person that enjoys trying new restaurants I find myself frequenting Fleming's more than any other steakhouse. The food is delectable but the quality of service is what brings me back to the restaurant time and time again. Fleming's is the type of establishment that makes you feel like they are only serving YOU. I highly recommend the "A Taste for Twosday" they feature a 3 course meal for two every Tuesday at a price you can't beat. Fleming's also hosts events in their private dining room such a chef curated menu along with wine pairings chosen by their wine manager Christian. Christian gives you an insight into each glass of wine you drink, speaking to the region the wine came from and what flavors you are tasting. Featured pictures are from our anniversary dinner at Fleming's.
Our Valentines Fleming date was perfect. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful. We sat in a beautiful large booth, with full view of the restaurant. Justin our server and Brenton his assistant were absolutely amazing! The service and food were top notch. We also had an amazing bottle of wine, which both Justin and Brenton recommended! Thanks guys! We will certainly be back, and requesting to be seated in Justin’s section.
My experience was everything you would expect from an upscale steakhouse. Excellent food, great atmosphere, and attentive service. We got the Tomahawk Tuesday special and they cooked it to two different levels to accommodate our differing preferences. Both came out perfectly. It was definitely a pleasurable experience.
This is my all time favorite steakhouse mostly due to their extraordinary service. I made a reservation for my anniversary and they made our date extra special. Our waiter was magnificent; he personalized our celebration with chocolate treats and Long Stem Roses. The food was scrumptious; we both ordered Sirloin Steaks, Mashed Potatoes, and Asparagus. Our dessert was even better; not to mention the wine selections are esquisite. Be ready to spend; all this greatness cones with a price! This restaurant is perfect for romantic dinners or celebrations.
I was my fort time here but no my friends’. We had a late reservation but still got seated right away. We were there just for coffee and desert but still got the proper service. We ordered the lava cake and it arrived on time with the coffees. The flavor was delicious and the presentation on point. The server told us that they are expecting some renovations so definitely coming back to try full menu once it’s renovated. Well done guys!
We had an amazing dinner at Fleming’s Steakhouse! Our server George was exceptional — super friendly, professional, and gave us spot-on recommendations that made the whole meal even better. The food was absolutely delicious (the steak was perfect!), and the service really made the night special. We’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend asking for George if you go!
My wife surprised me with a date night and we started at Fleming's. This place exceeded any of my expectations I had walking in. Our waiter, Chad, was amazing! He took the time to help us with the menu options and wine pairings. Top notch. Steaks were perfectly cooked and the wine paired very well. Brussel sprouts were on point and the Creme Brulee was the perfect way to end the meal. This was by far one of my top dinning experiences. We will definitely be back!
I made a reservation for 8 when we arrived our table was ready, The service was flawless and the food was on another level. We had the filet minon, scallops, pork rib chop and the filet on a bone. The Mac n cheese, flemings potatoes, green beans and mashed potatoes. Needless to say nothing was left besides bones for the dogs.
Came for my birthday 🥳 which luckily fell on Tuesday, and they had a special on Tuesday for 2 people! Even though we were a party of 3, there was plenty of sides to pass around and the portions were plenty big enough!! They gave us some salts to add to the meat 🥩 which enhanced the flavor!! I really enjoyed the black & pink salt, definitely must try! Overall great service, and they even gave me a box of chocolates as a gift 🎁
Absolutely delicious, we had the ribeye and filet mignon, a salad, and the loaded baked potato along with some tasty drinks! Heather was a pleasure and made my birthday very special! Would definitely recommend!
The food was great! I had a new York strip and shared brussels sprouts. While the fiancé had the Chilean Sea Bass. The service with George our waiter was pleasant he was inviting and very welcoming for our visting occasion. I highly recommend trying the smoked ole fashion. It was superb.
Darren took great care of us! My husband and I went to Fleming’s for a date night after the holidays and were very pleased with our meal. Every course was delicious. We were very impressed with the dessert and were even given a complimentary dessert to try. It was amazing. We will definitely be back!
I had such an extraordinary experience when I visited this establishment that I was inspired to write a personal email thanking the individuals whose business cards were located at the hostess stand. Understandably, they are busy with the nuances of maintaining a thriving business, so no response was ever received, however I was so moved by my gastronomic experience that I decided to share it here as well! I recently had the opportunity to experience Flemings on a rather significant and reverent day, especially to Americans, defined as Thanksgiving. Personally, I find it a bit ironic that Humans define a day that is no different nor special as sacred, however I believe it's due to a desire to celebrate and provide contrast to an otherwise catastrophic existence filled with violence and chaos along with simultaneous trial and tribulation. Any who, I wanted to acknowledge the truly remarkable experience that Flemings created for me during my immersion into the depths in which I desired to experience existential thanks. This is actually why Flemings was chosen specifically. I desired an establishment that was capable of providing a gastronomic experience to the depths of why that particular day was assigned and thus designated as worthy of extraordinary reverence to gratitude. The nuances and depths of what I perceived during my rather intriguing experience was a bit of a juxtaposition to the reputation of quality, prestige, and worth the establishment itself has built through tremendous effort. I don't desire to belittle such effort of warranted acknowledgement, which is why I bring awareness to the contrast of perception versus tangible reality. I've attached a visual presentation of the concept to provide further clarity for my words. The drink ordered was the same, however the stark change in appearance caused a rather immediate state of curiosity within my cognition. It naturally made me ponder the nuances of what occurs behind the scenes as far as logistical and foundational flow of operations. If the presentation of a single drink drastically changes this much during the course of a single meal, then it either signals extraordinary innovative potential, or lack of consistency and standard that is often derived from leadership. Due to the perceived reputation of the establishment, I obviously assumed it signaled extraordinary innovative potential, which brings me to the purpose of my email. There is something remarkable occurring with Flemings, and I couldn't help myself but to express thanks for allowing me the opportunity to personally experience firsthand what has been created as a result of inspiring belief and effort. Thank you for allowing me to perceive something truly unique, as it has created an explosion of inspiration and innovation in my own life and endeavors.
Want to shout out Josh; our server and the rest of the staff for making our first experience at Fleming's a memorable Anniversary 🖤 Impeccable service, food, and the lovely ambiance of this restaurant. Will definitely recommend this location to friends and family. Thank you for taking care of us!
Food was excellent and cooked exactly as I asked for. Aged New York strip was amazing. Added shrimp to it and had smooth horseradish sauce and a par of butter. One of the best steaks I've ever had. Asparagus, mac and cheese and potatoes were all added to create a fantastic dinner. Plan on going back as soon as possible. Great experience.
My husband and I hosted a private dining event here on October 25th and it was the best decision we could have ever made to choose Fleming's Prime Steakhouse. From coordinating details on menu items and setup with Brittany to the actual luncheon, Fleming's Steakhouse made sure that our party was well taken care of. The atmosphere was beautiful, the dining experience was incredible due to our wonderful waiters, and the food was amazing. I truly could not have hosted a wonderful luncheon without the hard work and planning that the staff here had done for my family and I. Even our guests were impressed with the food, service, and venue. 10/10 experience, compliments to everyone who is apart of this wonderful establishment. Definitely recommend this place for all your private dining and hosting needs.
We enjoyed our first dining experience at Fleming’s. We visited on a Tuesday and had the Tomahawk Tuesday special which was such a great deal! The steak itself was so flavorful and delicious. Sides were amazing as well. Staff was really friendly and helpful. We received our food rather quickly for the restaurant being completely full.
Fleming’s provided a very memorable experience! Food, service and staff are the absolute best! The Tomahawk steak was incredible! The Mac n cheese super delish! The carrot cake - awesome. Even the Coca-Cola was perfect! Our waiter Kameron was the coolest! Best waiter ever!! And… the manager stopped by to check on us! The hostess and table setter also were courteous and helpful. Wow! Highly recommended!
Needed sustenance, getting hangry. Didn’t have a reservation, didn’t want to wait long to get good food, wanted to use our gift card. Settled into a nice, quiet booth in the bar area. Perfect. Ordered the Caymus & Burger. One glass was the 50th Anniversary Cabernet Sauvignon & the Chickpea eggplant burger. Also ordered the filet mignon sandwich and a regular glass of Cabernet Sauvignon, both were excellent and really hit the spot. Gave our server the gift card. When she read it was for our anniversary, she brought us a tray with a delicious box of chilled chocolates! A very nice surprise. Definitely worth a visit.
My husband and I recently dined at Flemings Steakhouse during their 3 course meal dinner for two deal and it was absolutely fantastic. The ambience of the restaurant, with its perfect lighting and presentation, set the tone for a wonderful evening. The highlight of the meal was definitely the steak - we ordered the porterhouse and filet minion and both were cooked to perfection. The flavors were exquisite and the meat was so tender and juicy. The service we received was outstanding, with our server being very attentive and friendly throughout the entire meal. Overall, our experience at Flemings Steakhouse was top-notch and we will definitely be returning in the future. Highly recommend!
Delicious, I enjoyed every bite. The restrooms are located in the front when you arrive. Dark lighting. The house cocktails, let’s just say you will get more than one. I recommend the blueberry lemon drop. Of course the macaroni is yummy! The Cesar salad was made just right. I would have preferred a little more dressing. Carrot cake is nice and moist!!
The ONLY reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the AC wasn't really working well for us, but Truly my choice of steakhouse! I had a bottle of Sophora sparkling wine to cut the richness of the awesome Fleming's potatoes and creamed spinach and enhanced the earthy flavors of the sauteed mushrooms. My 20 oz ribeye was cooked to perfection, our waiter was the best in every aspect of the game service, cordial and timing Eric Conway management even gave a small give for our occasion. My all time favorite steakhouse! From San Diego to Washington DC hands down. My appetizers beef carpacio and Ahi tuna poke
My husband took me for my birthday dinner. My favorite things are the cream of spinach and the virgin strawberry daiquiri! The ceasar salad was good but nothing to rush out and get. The steaks and potatoes au gratin were delicious. And the creme brulee was amazing! We've been to one other location in Arizona. While we did enjoy ourselves and everything was yummy, we were able to compare the two experiences, and the AZ one was the better of the two.
Bone in Filet is amazing!!! Loved the spicy Thai green beans and the Mac and cheese was terrific. The Flemming potatoes were OK. Didn't have a lot of flavor. Best desert is the fresh berries with Chantilly whipped cream!!! Heavenly!!! Staff was great! Seabass is ok but if you are having dinner here, go for a steak! I would not recommend the Diablo shrimp. It was very fishy tasting/smelling.
Good place overall. Just some hiccups when we went. Had a reservation at 6 pm but didn't get seated until a little over 630. Good food overall and drinks were fine. It was a little too hot in the restaurant, though. Husbands steak was perfectly cooked, and my scallops were tender, and the mac n cheese was delicious.
Our first time here. The food was tasty but needed a tad more seasoning. Our wait staff did an excellent job. It was a challenge to find a parking spot. Many of the spots had cones and another section blocked off for valet. We had the tomahawk, brussel sprouts, fleming potatoes and for dessert the olive oil & lava cakes.
I was there for a work celebration. Service was excellent. They had a limited amount of heavy hors dourves, some cake, chocolate covered strawberries. It's probably all we ordered on our budget. It was set up nicely. I did not sit in the restaurant or see the full menu.
I received an email from @flemingssteakhouse this past Sunday about their Social Hour from 4pm to 6pm on Sundays through Thursdays. It featured new cocktails and new bar bites. I think I've only been once before, so we checked it out tonight. Social Hour is only available at the bar area, and no reservations are necessary. Lacy was both bartender and server, and kudos for doing a great job! Dad had the Strawberry Lemonade, I had Tequila Me Softly, and my husband had Time is Honey. Dad and I shared the Lobster Bisque. It was good but a bit watery. My husband had the Flemings Salad. I had a few bites, and it was a great mix of flavors. We shared the Crab Cake Bites, Prime Sliders, and Tempura Shrimp. The sliders and shrimp are top notch - sliders are real juicy and the marmalade with the shrimp OMG! The crab cake bites were a bit dry. Could use more crab and that marmalade. Probably would get another plate of the shrimp instead of the bites next time. Overall, good experience!
I was there last night celebrating my birthday. Rib-eye is my weakness, and I've tried it at many restaurants. This was the BEST rib-eye I've ever had—better than Ruth's Chris, Morton's, and even Budros. I do not like à la carte menus. Very expensive, in particular the drinks. I received a birthday card and some chocolates from Fleming's. Nice touch, although I rarely eat chocolate! (TD)
We visited Flemings Steakhouse at the Quarry. We started with a blueberry lemon drop martini which was a great choice. For our appetizer, we went with their crab cakes which were super delicious. My husband also ordered the lobster bisque which was creamy rich and had generous portions of lobster. However, when it came time for the main course, there was a slight hiccup. I ordered the ribeye with a lobster tail, while my husband opted for the ribeye with crab legs. Unfortunately, my steak had an off taste that seemed like spoilage after just a couple of bites. After confirming with my husband that the steak did indeed have an unusual flavor, I decided to bring it to the attention of our waiter, Josh. I must commend the waiter for his prompt and gracious response. Without hesitation, he arranged for a replacement steak to be prepared. The second steak was a vast improvement. I am not one to send food back so I felt bad but I also didn’t want to get sick. Throughout this experience, the staff, including which I believe may have been the head chef and manager, demonstrated a high level of attentiveness and professionalism. Their genuine concern for our satisfaction was evident, and they went above and beyond to ensure that we enjoyed our meal. We finished our meal with their foster banana bread which was good.
My filet mignon was not cooked to medium as I requested and was like warm at best when it arrived. The sides were warm and not too bad.
Food and drinks were great, and the atmosphere was excellent. The only problem was that the waiter forgot our lobster tails when they were boxing up our leftovers. It sucks, because we paid over $400 for dinner, and my wife was looking forward to eating her lobster tail. Plus it was our anniversary, but if it wasn’t for forgetting our lobster tails. I would have definitely given them 5 stars.
Usually love the food here and potato pave is my absolute favorite side which is why I was SO disappointed with how it came out this last time. As soon as I saw it on the plate I knew it was wrong, the color looked off and when I took a bite it felt like I was eating old scalloped potatoes. It was dense and flat instead of crispy and delicious. I immediately had them box up the entire meal, fortunately I was able to save the potatoes later at home with my air fryer but for a restaurant at this price point all the food that is served should be at least decent if not amazing. Really unfortunate because all the other food and drinks I got were so delicious and the bartenders had friendly service!
The best part about this steakhouse is the staff and the atmosphere even though it’s pretty dark in there. A few people had to use the flashlight on their phone to see the menu. The staff was very friendly and attentive. In my opinion the amount of food you receive is not worth the prices you pay. We ordered the Barbecue Salmon which was $48 and the Double breast of chicken which was $40. For a plate that high you would think the portion size would be bigger and that you at least get sides to go with it but wrong. The sides are separate and started at $16. They claim to be “shareable sides” which is why they are sold separately, but I guess that just depends on how much you can eat by yourself. The food in my opinion had great taste and flavor, but my fiancé didn’t like any of it. Our friends ordered the onion rings as an appetizer and they were huge which was pretty cool. They also ordered the fried mushrooms which were really good as well. No hard feelings to the restaurant cause their prices are just their prices, but this steakhouse just wasn’t our cup of tea and we probably won’t be back.
Arrived 15 minutes before reservation time. Waiting in the lobby when hostess called out our name to the group standing near us. Our table was given to wrong group. 2nd hostess noticed and corrected the error by giving us a table within minutes. Ordered the tomohawk steak, bone in ribeye, and salmon. Bone in ribeye and salmon were good. The bone in ribeye portion seemed bigger than tomohawk. Bone in ribeye was definitely better tasting and worth its cost, instead.
I give this rating because my family and I went to flemmings the other day. We spent a considerable amount of money. The experience was ruined by the bus woman her name was natalie. It was like she was on some kind of drugs. She was clearing our plates off was talking to herself even swearing under her breath. She mad us so uncomfortable. My wife was afraid she was gonna go bananas and start attacking people. What a disappointment
Went there for our anniversary and I had heard good things but it just fell short of my expectations. They have a gnat problem and it was pretty bad. I didn’t expect to be shooing away gnats from my food and my surroundings. I was shooing and catching and clapping 👏 trying to kill them. My husband had the bone in ribeye he said it was good but nothing spectacular for the price. I had the steak frites also nothing out of the ordinary. It came with this layered potatoes which I didn’t even eat because they were so hard. I would have preferred just mashed potatoes or a bake potato. But it came with a mushroom Brie soup now that was really good 👍🏼. Then I ordered dessert which was an Olive oil cake and that tasted like cornbread not my favorite. I just ordered to get the Happy Anniversary logo. But that felt short of my expectations too. We walked out with a bill of $155.88 plus tip and left quite let down. Plus we went for lunch thinking it would be less expensive but I guess not plus shooing away gnats for that price was not pleasant.
We attended a marriage-focused dinner event at Fleming’s and left feeling more frustrated than fulfilled. From the start, the experience was odd. We were seated with other couples—which we expected—but were surprised (and honestly put off) to learn that we had to share bread & butter with strangers just because we were seated near them. Meanwhile, other tables had their own bread baskets. For a prepaid event, that felt incredibly cheap and awkward. The most baffling part? As soon as we sat down, before even placing our meal orders, they asked if we wanted our desserts to-go. That alone made the tone of the evening feel rushed and impersonal. Service was another letdown. Two servers for a group of 10 meant slow drink refills and long waits. They also rushed to clean up plates immediately, giving the sense they were eager to turn the room—even though it was reserved for 2.5 hours and we finished early at 8 p.m. This was our first visit to Fleming’s, and it will definitely be our last. I highly recommend reading the lower-star reviews—they reflect the same issues we experienced. There’s a reason this place isn’t packed at dinner. If you’re looking to enjoy a quality steakhouse experience, take your money to Bob’s or somewhere else that values your presence.
Staff was excellent and well versed, food completely not up to par. Extremely disappointed. Ordered the Tomahawk steak, it was hard and way too crispy they brought it sliced into 6-7 “chunks” and it was completely dry. I’ve never been to a steakhouse that cut my steak, not even sure I received the whole steak. I’ve had this steak at The Woodlands location and they’ve never cut my steak as if I was a child who couldn’t. When we asked the server why, he stated they do this for those who share the steak. Au gratin potatoes had black burned edges, severely overcooked. We ordered the lobster Mac and cheese and not much to my surprise it was tasteless. The bread and spread was on point. I’ve visited Flemmings plenty of times elsewhere. I was in San Antonio for a weekend birthday trip. I had a $200, 6 year old gift card to Flemmings that I kept forgetting to use and chose to use it here. I’m glad I hadn’t paid for the meal, I think I would’ve been more disappointed. We informed the manager but in went on deaf ears. I would definitely return to Flemmings just not this location.
Great restaurant when going during normal hours. Do Not Go for their thanksgiving dinner!!! Terrible food from the lobster bisque(absolutely disgusting) to their turkey which was terrible. Cost $160 as well. I tipped 20% ONLY because our server was working on Thanksgiving
First thing was the waiter told us to hurry up and order because we were the last reservation (they close at 8 and our table was sat at 8). Didn’t get all my food, waiter told me it was my fault food came out late because I ordered the short rib and honestly this food isn’t that good for the price. Cheap potato’s for the mash, short rib is really small . Go elsewhere Also I understand it’s a holiday but to be real, still isn’t our fault. Let’s see if the Mac and cheese we never got is on the bill when it shows up. Shouldn’t have to remind them.
Went for take out tonight and was very disappointed with the food. Bread was cold. The champagne Brie did not taste the way it usually does. I had the Shrimp Diablo and was cold. I asked for more sauce and that was cold. It’s supposed to be a hot dish! French onion soup was bland. This is my first time at this San Antonio location and the last time. The front desk girl was nice but didn’t know anything about the menu and she was doing the takeout orders. Definitely not fine dining.
On Tuesday, March 11, my husband treated me to my favorite restaurant in San Antonio, Fleming’s, to celebrate after a week of following a strict diet due to a medical procedure. I was excited to return and enjoy a meal at a place we have always loved. Our server, Chris, was friendly enough, and we started with appetizers and our main course. The calamari was decent, but it seemed to be missing something I couldn’t quite identify. We ordered the tomahawk meal for two, expecting the exceptional quality we’ve come to associate with Fleming’s. However, the steak lacked the robust flavor we are accustomed to, the famous Fleming’s potatoes were overly crispy, and our steak had a significant amount of fat. The manager stopped by at the beginning of our meal while I was enjoying my delicious Moscato, and at that moment, everything felt perfect. Unfortunately, as the meal progressed, we were left disappointed by both the service and the quality of the food. Given this experience, we will have to reconsider before choosing to dine here again and spend our hard-earned money.
