Besides the food being delicious, we had truly exceptional service. I don’t normally leave reviews but I felt the need to shout out our server. Precious checked on us frequently and was so kind and attentive. My husband and I were celebrating a belated Valentine’s Day with our daughter, who has special needs, and Precious took the time to help us cut up our daughter’s steak without hesitation. That level of care and thoughtfulness does not go unnoticed. She made our evening feel special and we are so grateful. We will definitely be back!

I was at this particular location on 12/4/2025. This restaurant has amazing food and customer service. My server made sure my drink was never empty food came out in record time and was prepared exactly as I had requested. For the price this is one of the best steak houses around. The manager Inga came to my table and was very friendly and made sure that everything was to my liking. I will definitely be back to try some of the other things on the menu because so far it has been a home run on the dishes I have tried .

We are regulars at this location for good reason. The service at the bar by our favorite bartender Sal is always very good and if there are any issues with our order, they are corrected on the spot and without any hesitation. The food is consistently good and cooked as requested, even if we do special modifications. And best of all, this location is very convenient and has become our "go-to" spot once per week.

Our server, "Lisa" did a fantastic job! She multitasked. Even though she was taking care of a large party, she never lost sight of making sure we had everything we wanted, she really hustled. Our food was excellent, our steaks, potatoes, everything was done perfectly. The "atmosphere" got only 2 stars for two reasons: The restaurant was freezing cold (maybe their heater was out?), and the music was too loud making it difficult to carry on a conversation.

Adreal was such a great host for our party of 6. Every time he came to the table, he had the most beautiful smile on his face. He was so patient and kind. The food was so good, fresh, and hot, thanks to the chef.

This was a great place to go. The was outstanding did not expect this but it was by North Star Mall let me tell you that man was working for his tips he sure did satisfy. Awesome place. Very close go the San Antonio Int'l Airport. I live about 2 and a half hours away and had to come back to back after trying the prime rib French dip... the Au Jaus was absolutely spectacular. Love coming here to relax and eat well as well as drink very well. I love the chill vibes and the amazing staff. The food is top tier and the drinks are out of this world. I definitely have to shout out my favorite waiter Gavin. My coworkers and I have been in town for business and when I tell you ever since we've been in town he's made us feel right at home. I ordered food from here through their website because I was staying at the Marriott right behind them. Two hours later I still did not receive my food, so I called. Unfortunately, DoorDash app apparently took my food, but never delivered it to me. However, the manager was very helpful and accommodating and remade my whole meal. I walked over to pick it up since it was no longer raining, and the food was delicious! I ordered the chicken tortilla soup with 1/2 roast beef sandwich, broccolini, and they gave me cheesecake. Considering I had to wait two hours, it was well worth it! And kudos to the manager for taking care of the issue promptly and satisfactorily, even though it was not the restaurant’s fault for me not getting my food! I’m definitely going to order more meals from here while I stay at the Marriott.

We shared the 14 oz. Ribeye with loaded baked potato with a salad and added a second salad. Steak was cooked perfectly, medium rare, and seasoned just right. Our server, Sav, was the absolute best server on the planet. She always checked on us and probably would've pull up our vehicle if we asked her. This is a good steakhouse, but I honestly think it’s overpriced. I hadn’t been here in a while. I appreciated the simple menu and received excellent service. I would expect that for the price the restaurant would look a little bit more aesthetically pleasing/more upgraded maybe? I can’t put my finger on it. The music was really, really loud but nevertheless I was able to enjoy my food. The food is decent but I find their food to be a bit salty sometimes. They have a wide selection of drinks and food but my friends often complain that the drinks seem a bit watered down. Personally, I like the atmosphere and the staff is usually pretty good about keeping an eye on their tables.

I’ve been here plenty of times, it’s an easy place, easy menu, never had a complaint or a bad time. The hostesses could use some training to be more friendly and have better customer service, they are a bit awkward and they are the first people we see when we go in so it’s almost always an odd interaction. The place is great though! Food comes fresh and quick, margaritas are strong !

Never been to a 54th Street before so I went in with no expectations. I can confirm the double smash burger is pretty amazing as are the waffle fries. I think we got the new guy as a server, he did good but seemed overwhelmed. He would walk, stop, count something and then move on. If my drink would have been attended to after it was empty this experience would have been a solid 5. Will put it on my list of return when in town places to eat!

Was told to call ahead for a large party, did so we check in b4 reservation time and we have to still wait 45 minutes past our reservation time. The hosts were rude. Had to go up 3 times to check status, 3rd time the rude male host told me that your table is now ready "you should have got text now" which i never got. came here after a fun night out and the food itself was okay… the service wasn’t well. the waiter never introduced himself, he did not ask if we wanted to order appetizers and when i ordered my appetizer it did not come out until all my food came out, which was 40 minutes later. i order a dinner for 2 and he forgot the 2nd entree and asked us what we ordered while we waited. we did not receive our desert because at this point the restaurant was closing and the service seemed very rushed, not because of the time we got there but because of the waiting for ordering and for our food.

When we arrived we didn’t get offered any fresh bread, Bartender wasn’t to interested I guess because we weren’t ordering cocktails.We ordered burgers well done and they were both undercooked I didn’t complain I only ate a little part where it wasn’t red,it smelled really bad in there and the restrooms were dirty both woman & mens.We won’t be going there again.

Normally, longhorn is my favorite place to grab a steak and old fashioned. I stopped by today for dinner and went to sit at the bar. The bar was relatively empty minus one gentleman sipping a drink and the normal tables were somewhat empty. So it’s most definitely not a busy day. I sat for close to 10 min and was never given a menu or offered a drink. I got up walked out and went to 54th street next door. As soon as I sat I was offered a drink and menu. I asked what her problem was and she was like I don’t know.I asked for the manager and told him how rude she was and he pretended to be surprised and was like what can I do, talk to her. But I refused to pay she ignored me and not the white couple and was rude. Not sure what she is going through but leave it hime and dont mistreat ppl, bc of your problems. Real Racist treatment today and Im sure thats what she wanted me to say, I also usually give her nice tips but I won’t be back and Im sure they are happy.

I've always loved the atmosphere here but everything else is lacking! I went on a day when it was not that busy and it took 10 minutes before I had to find someone to wait on us. There were plenty of workers there but they were all too busy visiting with each other up at the entrance. Obviously the manager needs to be replaced! As for the food, it was so so. At a time when eating out is so expensive, you would think we all could get better service! It doesn't help when you have homeless people standing outside the door panhandling.

My experience at this location was absolutely disappointing. From the very beginning, our server Aaron did not even acknowledge our table when we were seated—no greeting, no “I’ll be right with you,” nothing. By the time he finally came over, things only went downhill from there. The appetizer came out with cold cheese, my burger was dry, and the bacon was rubbery. When I sent it back and asked for crispy bacon, it was clear the same bacon was just reheated and put back on the burger. Even worse, my burger came out missing key ingredients—mayo, pickles, lettuce, and mustard. Despite me pointing this out, Aaron showed no concern or effort to correct the issue. Another waiter eventually had to step in to bring what we needed. Our drinks sat empty and watered down with no refills, and the overall service made the entire dining experience frustrating. I had stopped going to 54th Street for a while because of ongoing service issues, but decided to give it another chance since my boyfriend really wanted the gringo dip before our road trip home. Unfortunately, this visit reminded me why I stopped coming. I’ve worked in customer service for years, so I know how important it is to treat guests well and pay attention to details. The lack of care and professionalism here is unacceptable. This team seriously needs additional training in basic hospitality and service standards. It’s disappointing because 54th Street used to be one of my favorite places to eat—but based on this experience, I can’t recommend it anymore

Went today for lunch. I had the pacific fish tacos and my husband had the carne Asada tacos. They were not good at all. No taste. The rice was undercooked and little bit of refried beans we got tasted old. We didnt finish our food. The bartender even asked if we wanted a box to go. I told her oh no.. The shrooms were good and the couple of old fashions were good. But we will never again order tacos from there.
