Americanized Mexican fast food. Tastes good and the price is affordable. Never had a problem at this location. If you can't stomach Americanized Mexican fast food this is a skip restaurant but if you are looking for that type of food this place is good for what you are looking for and customer service is good.

I've been eating at Del Taco for about 35 years. Over the years the quality of their food has actually increased compared to most other fast food restaurants have gone down as well as prices increased. Del Taco has always been reasonable priced as well. From their quesadilla's, Burritos and even Nachos, you can't go wrong.

1 1/2 minute read: In the taco business, competition can be fierce. You can c👀 that, right‼️⁉️ They all try to come up with a tint-elating new form/way of twisting a tortilla, just to lure you. The way I’ve ALWAYS seen it is: Let Mexican food be just THAT- MEXICAN FOOD. Why do I say THAT⁉️ I’m glad you asked but I was just about to tell you anyway. Del Taco’s version of a Mexican taco is an AMERICAN version. No problem there. I like Del Taco’s SUPREME TACO any day. If you prefer sour cream (or not) on your taco- it’s your prerogative and that’s fine. But, get vaccinated so you can be a team player. Thanks😎👍🏽

I go here every once in a while when I’m visiting family nearby and I’ve never had a problem. This last time Ramona was really helpful and quick with getting my order ready. Thank you!!

The service was good, and the order take was nice, I believe her name was 'Haddey', after taking my order she repeated it, and I really appreciated that. Also, she asked if I needed any condements which I did, and if she hadn't asked I would have forgotten to ask. She had a smile and seemed that she really enjoys her job, as well as, helping others. I am so impressed with her attitude that I will definitely come back and refer my co-workers to eat here. I'm a Medical Courier/technician that sees very ill patients throughout the day, and this gal really made me feel good. Thank you ' Del Taco' for hiring this gal. ☺️

Clean, good prices especially the value menu. Can get crowded at times but it is worth it. They take EBT now. Food is pretty much always on point! Update, Oct.2, 2023: The EBT is down. They say, they don't know when it will be back up, since they have a new owner. Will update again if it changes.

What can I say about del Taco? This was actually my first time at this location. The team behind the counter was fast and friendly,! I ordered 33 tacos on Taco Tuesday plus some burritos and a couple of other menu items..I waited no longer then 6-8 minutes and when they called my number I was kinda surprised that everything was ready before I had even collected all the straws and sauces. My order was correct and packed to go just as I had asked..thanks to the team there my party was a great success.

Stopped in this facility while visiting California for my daughter. Food prices are EXTREMELY reasonable and there are numerous food choices to choose from. I asked the young man for a suggestion regarding Nachos, and he was VERY honest about which meat he felt was best. I absolutely appreciated his honesty. My daughter says she eats there awesome because the fish tacos are fabulous. When I return I will certainly visit here again.

Del Taco really does hold a greater place between Taco Bell and a more traditional Mexican Taco restaurant. More specifically are line items like the chicken taco, that if it were served in the Midwest, would probably be the best taco in town. Fish taco, and fried chicken taco only add to the lead it has over their more well known competitor. Add in a far better hamburger than you'll ever find at a Mexican restaurant and voted better then McDonalds on a near annual basis, and you have a reason to believe Del Taco isn't going away anytime soon.

The drive threw employee was really upbeat and seemed to be having a great day! She was so upbeat not only did I take notice, but I was moved to actually chat for a brief second to tell her so. I even did the little survey on the ticket. One of the best experiences I've had.

It's fast food. The driveway sucks to get in and out of, but the line moves fairy quick. The inside is clean. Really I'm giving it five stars for the staff, they're all super friendly and nice and try to have a good day and it's infectious. It's nice when people aren't letting the job get them down, but instead out their best foot forward.

I love Del Taco... Always have. Been eating here since I was a kid and far better than Taco Bell. Also, I think their mayo-based secret sauce with french fries is phenomenal, especially when paired with chili cheese fries. Exceptional! Highly recommend!

Customer service is always great here. Very professional, kind, and helpful. They are also very fast and consistent. The only thing is that they tend to run out of inferno hot sauce many times and that sauce is a must for me!

I just had to share my experience,I ordered thru the drive thru and cannot tell you how Ashley had the greatest customer service,when I drove up to the window she had the brightest smile and as I waited for a minute for my order she just soo on things,she a good hard worker as I witnessed,I had to compliment her as there are some places that don't have good customer service and are rude.I even told her that she deserves a pay raise as they had 3 people working so figuring short staffed.I told her I will definitely be back,people with those qualities make customers want to come back.Ashley goes above and beyond,a real sweetie

Good food but it’s a little more expensive than Taco Bell.

Their french fries are always hot here. I always go through the drive-through, and I have never been given lukewarm or cold french fries. I love Del Taco’s french fries! I just wish they offered the option to upgrade from thigh meat to breast meat for their chicken dishes like El Pollo Loco does. Of they did that, they would steal my business from EPL. I rather dislike dark chicken meat, so I go to EPL 5-10 times for every 1 time I go to Del Taco because EPL allows me to pay a little extra and get white meat. The employees here are always nice as well as do a great job at cooking the food and getting my order right!

Del Taco has always been a good bargain for your money. The food is always fresh and tasty. My favorite has always been the Double Dell Cheeseburger. Public bathrooms are always available and kept clean. Overall a good experience. Highly recommended.

Food has always been fresh when I've gone to this location, and the staff is courteous. The location makes the drive thru a little awkward, but that's no fault of their own. At least they've got one.

We love this location especially when Miles is working the drive-thru window. His personality is awesome and it makes Taco Tuesday's a blast! We never have an issue with our food and we eat like royalty for less than $13!!!

I asked for extra cheese and the recipe says it but no cheese was added to my fries so sad.

Nice clean place...although last time I got charged for a French fry and did not get it in the take out/drive through bag!!! I guess the worker was overworked and was too busy to make sure ...either way I should have double checked before leaving the driveway...didn't find out till I got home! Other than these types of issues it is a decent place for Mexican take out!

It over exceeded my expectations for sure it was fresh cooked perfectly everything was hot the atmosphere was kinda off so I didn't decide to stay I got the food sat down for a couple minutes then wrapped my food and left and it was also very small setting

UPDATE:(Monday October 17, 2025, 4:29 PM) Currently there is a female employee talking in Spanish and English to other employees. Actually, I should say YELLING. Even when she walks further back into the kitchen, ahes super loud. It's jarring. I can't even eat in peace. They can't all be like Stephanie unfortunately. I reduced my atmosphere rating to 1 star because of the loud employee. I want to commend STEPHANIE for her excellent service. Stephanie is friendly, professional and attentive CONSISTENTLY - even more so than the managers. She should be considered for a management position herself. Good service comes naturally to her. It's in her personality. In today's customer service environment - where most seem to just want a paycheck -- it's refreshing to see someone like Stephanie get it right 100% of the time. Del Taco is a nice fast food spot for many options. I’ve had their double Del cheeseburgers, classic chicken burritos and their chicken cheese quesadillas. I order through the app which is convenient and I just go to the drive thru and tell them my name. Their food is pretty good and they have good deals on the app sometimes.

I was there on new years eve. This was one of a few eating out location. Thank you for all the employees who works on holidays. Got late night snack. Yum! Their hotsauce is boom! Inferno. Spicy and yummy!

Both bathrooms were supposedly out of order. The restaurant was not clean and condiments were not readily available.

They are always out of their HOT sauce! They ask what sauce I want... I say HOT and they proceed to dump a bunch of the other sauces in my bag. I say I wanted HOT. They say we don't have any. Well say that when I ask for it!!!

I go to Del Taco for their great milk shakes. Especially the strawberry shakes. I only gave them (at this location) 3 stars because of the very slow service and the staff (which seems understaffed) is okay but not friendly.

It's no the bets place to eat a hamburguer. The beef is small.

I don't really come to del taco but I gave it a shot since nothing else was available. I ordered the fresh avocado burrito with chicken meal with a strawberry shake. The shake was the consistency of milk so it was not a shake it was more like strawberry flavored milk. The burrito was also not that great. Will probably not be here for a very long time or till nothing else is available.

Food is not as advertised. Birria Ramen was disappointing and not worth the price.. could literally get way more ramen noodles than that for 90¢ especially because it came with NO BIRRIA MEAT.

Sadly this place used to be super great but since it was sold and it turned into a major corporation who owns them they no longer take anything but one coupon they haven't had EBT in 6 to 8 months and can't get it fixed or won't get it fixed and added too much to their menu and it isn't very much like a taco place anymore they added stuff that isn't really tacos when they should have added more tacos and more different burritos would have been smarter but it is what it is

Good service but they need to speed up on the orders at night that night I saw at least two youngster standing while everyone else doing the Tuesday taco special rush get people that want to work not stand there looking around

Oh Del Taco, a love hate relationship. I love the food but it’s getting worse and worse. First, a new trend that I’ve noticed for some time and I’m going to start calling out all the restaurants that do this. Coca Cola is being diluted. The syrup to soda ratio is off, we are getting less and less syrup in our Coca Cola’s and other sodas, and other Del Tacos do this. This place is one of them. We don’t like it, when the ice melts, it’s over diluted and gross. Bring the right ratio back! Second, these are my large fries that I paid extra for. Where is the rest?! I feel like I was frie taxed by someone. But who? Who took my fries. Ughhhh Yea, sadly I will continue eating this garbage food. It’s an addiction

These people have been getting my orders wrong for years. I genuinely do not know why I keep going back through their slow drive through, and spend quite frankly an unreasonable amount of money on a burrito. Just to get home and found out it isn't the one I ordered.

Went through the drive through and food took forever to come out. Im usually not bothered at all by that because I like to think the food will be fresh BUT this time is wasn't. Very disappointing! Not sure what happened but the shrimp and fish tacos tasted weird like maybe the oil was from the night before and it was dry!

The food is fine. The staff is great. My complaint is how they package food for delivery. Its not secure. Please do it like McD's because they put everything including the drink in a large thick paper bag and seal it very well.

The place is good everytime I go but there's one that works at night that needs some customer training in the biggest way he is always mad if dose not like his job go and get another job .

WORST Del Taco in the Valley. I consistently get only so-so service here. My drive-thru orders are frequently incorrect or items are missing. Eating inside the location is to be avoided unless "homeless hangout" is the atmosphere you want. Today, I spent about 15 minutes in the drive-thru waiting to order with no movement in the line whatsoever. Thankfully the 8 cars behind me all decided to leave so I could back out too. I think the lady in front of me left too and she'd already placed an order. When I went inside to ask what was going on with the drive-thru, an employee said to me, in a flat voice devoid of inflection, as if he'd had all of the joy of life squeezed out of him, "Sorry ma'am. Would you like to order now?" I don't blame the employees at this location; what power do they have to change how much this Del Taco sucks? But management needs to do something. Until things change, I'll be at El Pollo Loco, Taco Bell, or Chipotle.

The employees do not listen. I said four times when ordering to not put sour cream on my food as it makes me ill. Every-time they confirmed that it would not be on my nachos. When they called number and handed me my nachoes, I opened the bag to check my order and they had put it on the nachoes. If I ask for something four times in the span of three minutes and you somehow still do the thing I asked you not to do, that's a problem.

Horrible! The Beyond burrito was beyond mush, and that's putting it a nicely as possible. Never Again.

Let me drive away without my complete order. Came back and had to wait to long to get the rest of my order, No apology or smile! Crunchy taco shell was in pieces... Not Impressed!

Went in morning to order food ordered 10 chicken tacos was craving them and trusted that that was paid attention to and correct by the responsible employes but half way down the street went to cure my craving and findings they where the beef soft tacos and I had no time to go back and exchange them so went with out eating and was very up set

Arrived 10 minutes before closing, all lights still on, drive through open sign still on, staff still there, completely ignored us at drive through while we tried to get their attention, pulled up to window, intentionally tried not to look at us, then finally just gestured “no” to us. Drove out of our way to get here and had to go back 10 minutes to the Burbank location. This is one of the only ones that closes this early and they didn’t always. Tacos are also usually subpar compared to other locations. Bad customer service.

OMG...worst one I've been to EVER! Ordered a lg. fry which they only filled it half way & under cooked! Asked for ketchup (twice) didn't get it. Bean & cheese burrito was terrible. Drink was 90% ice. Took about 20 minutes just to come to the window & we were the only one's in the drive thru with nobody inside! First & last time I'll go to this one! They SUCK!! 👎

It totally have been changed. About 10 years ago I used to weight 120bl. I used to enjoy the macho nacho, the macho burrito with a large fountain drink, that was my favorite meal of the day or should I say at that moment. Now it is very small portions,the flavor have changed a little and the price have gone high. I'm not planning on visiting Del Taco ever again. Sorry But that's my opinion.

Line moved so slow. We were ordering and kept getting cut off with our total. We weren't done ordering. We get to the window the woman was so confused on what's going on. She gave us our bag and we still waiting for our drinks. She just stared at us and says what else. We said our drinks. Rolls her eyes and serves it to us. I asked for no ice she still put ice. I let that pass.when we leave, the line was across the shopping center.get home after being in line for about 45 min just so find out my hard taco was missing. My fry bag came with half. Ordered a Bacon egg and cheese burrito and a side order of Guacmole (small) at the drive through. total came to $7. Guac. was $2. At Taco Bell it is $.70. When I got home I found that they gave me steak instead of bacon. The steak was absolute garbage. Took all the steak out and just ate the eggs. Never again. I'd give zero stars if possible.

First the worker bee took 15 minutes to sweep a clean floor, gradually walking backwards towards me until reaching my booth and rattling his broom and dustpan directly under my seat. The slow approach seemed to drip with malice. Then Jose Homeless came in holding what looked to be a Box o' Wine plastic bladder bag filled with either Gatorade or urine. Got into a loud argument in Spanish with the manager then sat a few seats down facing me with his bladder bag on a table refusing to order or to leave. I stayed longer than I would have normally because I wasn't going to let either a--hole chase me from the store.

UPDATE 5/25/21: I have been going to other Del Taco locations periodically and they all have been pretty decent. This one just... If you think something couldn't get any worse, stop thinking that because it can. I haven't the slightest clue why I came back to this location other than the fact that it was on the way home and I had the very wrong assumption that what I was going to order would be SUPER hard to get wrong. It was wrong. Ordered a Burrito. Asked them to simply leave sour cream off the burrito. That's all. Just hold the sour cream. They in turn translated that into leaving every other sauce off the burrito as well including the Chipotle sauce which is actually pretty tasty and is the prime selling point of the burrito. It was completely dry. Cold too. So really just to drive the point home, if you go to this location, always assume there's going to be something wrong with your order. Or just make your life easier and find another Del Taco location. Even navigating the driveways around Bob Hope airport to get to that location is still a better experience. Moving this down to a single star. This is a prime example why these kinds of restaurants should either go exclusively drive thru or close up entirely. I walk in and order 4 grilled chicken soft tacos. A small fries and a large drink. They charged me accordingly. I asked for a receipt. "Oh we have no receipt paper, sir." This is where it gets awesome.... I went off to some corner of the restaurant, out of the way to wait for my food. In the midst of preparing the carry out orders and the drive thru orders, they were dealing with this problematic gentleman who just wouldn't stop complaining about everything under the sun. The manager of all people I guess got so fed up with everything that she began to just start throwing random things into bags and giving them to people for the sake of just getting them out of the restaurant so she could deal with this guy. Now understanding that people can be really frustrating, I truly would have forgiven one or two errors with an order. I really would have. But when you go from ordering 4 identical grilled chicken taco, only to get it home in the rain just to find you have 2 cold beef soft tacos and 2 what look to be dried up fried chicken strip tacos and stale fries? None of the items except the fries and the drink were what I ordered. So this is effectively an 80% incorrect order? If I wanted fried chicken anything I would have gone to the KFC up the road a bit more from this location. Now I went to look in the bag for the receipt. I remembered they didn't give me one! So now even if I wanted to walk back to get this fixed, I couldn't because I was never given a receipt to show for it! Epic! If you're looking to actually get what you pay for, or actually get what you order at all, Find another Del Taco or consider other options for lunch. I will give Del Taco something here. I get that it's probably hard to manage a drive thru and an exclusively carry out dining room among the droves of problematic customers, doordash, grub hub, uber eats workers that storm the place all day long. But at the same time, if this is something you can't get to a workable state by now? You may want to lock up the carry out option and stick to drive thru service because it's clear that this and many other chains can't seem to balance the two properly and seemingly are okay with this because they know that most people won't come back in a time when you shouldn't be out unless it's entirely necessary. They don’t wear gloves here. They were literally touching my fries, trying to fit them into the bag with bare hands. So gross.

They never pick up the phone never only when manager is onsite but other that if you want to communicate with them for whatever reason you get a vm and then it gets forwarded to a cell phone that never gets answered — ohh sometimes it rings and they ignore it because we all know what it sounds like when call is ignored

This place left behind only negative emotions. The guy who served us was unhappy and communicated with us terribly. We bought two burritos with chicken (this was clarified again when placing the order), but there was no chicken in the burrito, they added beef, which was tough and full of fat. We will not return to this place again.

Very unprofessional location. The grey haired manager came in and immediately kissed and caressed one of his employees. She had dark framed glasses. A little younger than the other ladies in there. It is illegal to be a supervisor and have a family member or spouse work under you. They are all on their phones having conversations. I was helped by drive thru and the whole time she was having a full on conversation with a friend gossiping. Do better. This place is filthy and unprofessional. Needs a revamp in employees. Transfer some over from other locations.

The worst Del Taco I have ever been too in my life. I have been here 3 times now and every time they have messed up my order. Very very very very unorganized the managers have no idea what they are doing. They are just sloping together people food. With no consideration of how the food looks or taste most importantly. Below average customer service. I almost want to give no star at all. 😒

When men are working, you don't get greeted, a smile from the cashier, and what sucks, is when they take no pride in preparing the food. When the women are there, you do get greeted, you receive a smile, and they take the order you give them and deliver the food in good time and fresh. I usually go here two to three times a week. I'm going to Taco Bell..Much better all around experience at the Taco Bell on Lankershim.

0/10 because I went there just right now 5:30 April 14 and more or less this doesn't have to do with the workers on shift, but the lady that was off of shift. I was already waiting for 5 to 7 minutes, which is for my experience working customer service and managing customer experience along time to wait because they're drive-through was it at full capacity and their lobby semi full but mojority of order were completed. There was a gentleman there working very hard going from the fire to take orders to each station doing a great job when he came to take one of their employees that seem to be off the clock was looking so frustrated and impatient, making faces and comments as why they're not hurrying up, I was waiting much longer. When the employee came again, not his fault he just looked at both of us and begin taking her order and she was waiting on the side and I was actually in line and again not his fault but after he completed her order that was comped for free, which I'm a pay customer and she again was getting a free employee meal so not pay anything Entitled to cut infont of her customers. When is my opportunity to order? I informed the gentleman that it was obvious that she was more important to take the order and just walked out. Again, since you guys are writing this, if you care if you think the time just know that you have a lot of entitled workers working at this location, cause you to lose money for actual paying customers because of their attitude and demeanor.

On Wednesday May 28th, 2025 at around 2:50pm, this chic at the cash register is Extremely Rude And Terrible!! She was even rude at the intercom, but i didn't say anything. Easily, the worst Del Taco location in the nation. Every order from this location is ALWAYS wrong. Tonight tops it and I'll never go back. At this point they're just stealing my money and throwing anything they want into the bag. I would've tried to call but the listed number for this location goes directly to a cell phone that is shut off and the "voicemail has not been set up". I don't understand how corporate isn't more concerned.

I love Del Taco food, but at the Del Taco off Laurel Canyon in North Hollywood CA, we regularly receive errors with order (missing food) and food provided is low quality control. This morning my wife and I bought 2 bacon breakfast burrito combos. One was the size of a bacon roller, the other was half tortilla, and even less bacon and egg in it. It was a joke. If you like Del Taco, AVOID the Del Taco off Laurel Canyon Drive in North Hollywood, CA.

Miguel is a terrible Cashier this happened like Wings 8:40 p.m. on 02/28/25 I pay him kindly in his hand and I ask him to please give it to me in my hand and I put the money on the floor very bad service this young man should talk to him.

Don’t ever order from here through a food ordering app. They can care less to provide the order you asked for and will completely forget items in your order. Twice now I ordered x2 Double Del Cheeseburgers from here and they purposely forget to put a 2nd burger, leaving me with only one. Never again will I spend my money here, order elsewhere.

On August 30, 2025, at 4:30 AM, I visited a business that claims to be "open 24 hours" according to its website. However, the employee inside a) ignored the drive-thru and b) told me she was on a break and didn’t care what the website said. Frustrating, right?

Adiss the cashier gave us such poor customer service. I wanted Ranch to go with my hamburgers and she made such a big deal. About how she had to charge me 75 cents was very rude about it. Definitely not coming back.

Absolutely horrible service, waited 30 minutes in drive thru for a burrito and iced tea. Iced tea wasn't ready by the time I got to the window. Ordered a quesadilla and it was loaded with oil. The drive thru person was cussing and talking about "f'n customers." I was not rude at all in fear of my food being tampered with. I could hear other employees in there laughing but in short, bad service, no Bueno on the quesadilla. I'm short, very disappointed 😞.

Honestly the worrst del taco ever. They never get your order right. Ever. And the food is always cold. Their service is not much better either. I ordered a cali bacon burrito and got this. Smothered in chilli and bacon. I even repeated my order to the lady that is ALWAYS there and she still gave me a wrong order. And when you repeat it, she gives you attitude but OBVIOUSLY you need some more training. GARBAGE service
