Had a great experience at this restaurant. Our server was attentive, friendly, and fast! The Tornado Shrimp were a unique and tasty appetizer the dumplings were great too. We were in the mood for sushi and it was great. So if you are looking for sushi in this neighbourhood check them out.
I first off would like to apologize to Jane for it taking me so long to post this review. I was in town for the WWE Wrestlemania event. However, my brother and I had a craving for Ramen. Now I travel all around the world and often for work. And a good bowl of Ramen is very hard to come by these days. I must say when we arrived we were seated swiftly with the order placed within the first ten minutes food just started to arrive to the table. Not only was everything a delightful image that was presented but everything tasted so phenomenal. I would like to recommend the house blend of tea they offer. (It needs to be bottled up and packaged and sold across the world). Altogether, I must say this place is now a new stable and hidden gem for me whenever I’m in the LA area. Trust me it’s worth the drive as long as you can find parking.
What a wonderful Gem of a Ramen place. I came here expecting standard Ramen fare but there selection was awesome. They had homemade drinks such as iced honey ginger and Ice honey citrus, they had dim sum, their chicken ramen broth is to die for. Outdoor seating was nicely lit and not too cold. I will definitely come back the next time I am at Universal Studios.
Parking sucks. But I suppose all good locations have poor parking. Definitely not the best ramen spot I've been to in LA but wad pretty good. The bun was the highlight over the ramen unfortunately. But maybe this place is going after hipsters more than a traditional dish. Who knows. The broth was weak. Should have been a bone broth from what I ordered. It should have been slightly creamy from reduction. This was more like a powder bases added to a broth.

This place is nice and the food is great. Customer service on point and they played good music.
This place doesn’t shout for attention, but the tonkotsu ramen is rich, creamy, and deeply comforting. Noodles had the right bounce, and the broth was clearly simmered for hours. The staff are quick without rushing you. I ended up slurping every last drop. A neighborhood gem for sure
Interesting decor and looks staff. Menu is quite long and involved but I went with the Tonkotsu Black and that was a good choice. The broth was flavourful without being overwhelming, the noodles were the perfect consistency and the chashu was well cooked. Will definitely come back to try some other menu items. I am kind of torn about giving this place a four-star review because the food is just that good. I came in tonight with my wife for a random date night. We read the menu and decided on the Tamashii bowl combo for two. My wife is not a fan of cabbage and asked that they please take it out. It was in the bowl when it arrived at the table. I was hungry and didn't want to send it back, so I portioned her bowl minus the cabbage. My side order of chicken chashu didn't make it to the table until I asked for it. However, once I dug into my ramen, the broth had a great flavor. The pork was super tender and had a little bit of fat, which I loved. I didn't get fast refills on my green tea but I did get them. Both my wife and I loved the pork gyoza and fried wontons that were included with our bowl. Although I have to say that the Pork Tamashii buns stole the show! I think if you could quantify food into a state of pure enjoyment, it would be this bun. If I were to ever be on death row this bun would be my final meal. (Knock on wood I never have to make that choice.) I look forward to returning in the very near future.
Good ramen restaurant with rice bowl and sushi dishes with great service. I mostly came for their pig shaped buns which were amusing to look at and delicious. The spicy tonkatsu ramen was good, good noodles and broth. Pork cutlet was okay. I also tried the Tokyo chicken curry rice bowl which was underwhelming but not bad at all. Would come here again to get the buns and ramen. The service was really good. Did not try their sushi or side dishes.
This places ramen is good! My only hang up is the slow service. Great place if you’re not in a hurry. Great environment and lots of different Japanese options.
The atmosphere is chill, I everything I ordered was delicious (sweet potato tempura, crispy chicken, and my waitresses favorite Ramen - her name was Lauren) - service is ok but Lauren is the best ! ** also this might be random, but there bathroom stalls have outlets which could really come in handy if your on a creepy date and your phone dies ....lol that might sound funny but but seriously that’s kind of clutch for that reason

The ramen noodles had a great consistency to them. The place looked great, and service was excellent. The only thing I wished was that the bathroom was out of service when I was there but I assume that's temporary.

It was good ramen with many options for broth to choose from. I got the spicy miso, but it wasn’t very spicy. The waitress shield us away from ordering spicier, but we were disappointed with how underwhelming the spicy level was for medium and hot. Restaurant seating is cozy. Nothing stellar or standout about the food. It was satisfactory ramen, and served hot. We enjoyed the karaage chicken app. Service was okay, they weren’t super busy but didn’t check on us much.
Came to grab an early dinner with a friend. The place wasn't too busy and the food was good. Parking can be difficult to come by. I had the fire Tonkotsu which was not spicy for my taste.
Spot was ok was only thing open sort of late for ramen.
My friend and I were there for the very first time today. We both order the spicy tonkotsu, she ordered the medium one and I ordered mild. When we got our food, her soup looked like fire orange red color, and mine was a soft yellow. We thought that her soup looked like that maybe because it was the "medium" level. We asked the waiter which one was the mild one, and he seemed confused and he didn't understand what we were asking, we asked him 3 times and every time he seemed more confused so we assumed that hers was the orange one and mine the other. But when we tried them, hers was extremely hot, mine was really good, mild. But she couldn't even eat hers, I offer her to mix some of hers with mine, I could handle a little hotter but she didn't want to so we called a waitress, the lady came and she explained what had happened and she said "no, I think you got them mixed up, you (pointing to me) got hers, and hers is yours" and we told her no, we know what we had ordered and mine was perfectly fine, and she said she'll be back. Seconds later, she came with another girl, I think it was the manager and instead of acknowledging that they have messed it up, they kept insisting that we got what we ordered, a spicy tonkotsu and a <fire> tonkotsu, we told them that we both ordered the same soup but in a different level of spicy, mine was mild and hers medium, but apparently both of them knew better than us what we wanted to eat because they said no, that we just had to switch plates and that was it, but at this point, they were raising their voices and blaming their mistake on us. Since we saw their negativity and lack of responsibility, my friend told me, in Spanish "you know what? I'm not going to argue about this, I just want to have lunch with you and have a good time, I love enjoying my food, it's okay, I just wont eat it but I'll order something else instead, this is ridiculous, they're even raising their voices and the people around will be uncomfortable, I don't want that", so she ordered something else, a bowl of something, I was so upset that I didn't even paid attention to what she ordered. They got her other plate really fast, we finished our food, she left her soup in there and we left. I loved my soup, and since we work in the area, I had seen the place almost daily when I go out for lunch but we hadn't had the time to go together, but the photos of their food had me craving since a couple of months ago. And my birthday is this weekend, I told my husband that I want ramen, I wanted to come here, we were planning on coming with our kids but now, I don't know if we will, at least not on my birthday. I get it, we all make mistakes, but the least one should do, is to acknowledge that mistake and try to fix it if possible, not getting an attitude like they did. Very good food but poor customer service and lack of responsibility. Also, they should have at least one person that speaks good English, the three staff members we dealt with today, seemed to have a hard time understanding what we were saying. It has 3 stars because of the food, but the way they handle the issue takes the other 2. The photo below shows my plate, looks orange because I put mixed of my friends soup with mine in hopes that it will lower the heat level, but it didn't worked.

I recently tried the Spicy Miso Ramen here, but unfortunately it wasn’t quite what I was hoping for. The flavor didn’t really suit my taste, and the seasoned egg seemed like it may not have been as fresh as expected. The interior of the restaurant does have touches that give it a Japanese-inspired feel, but the space felt a little dark and somewhat worn. Overall, while the service was polite and the atmosphere had potential, the dining experience itself left me a bit disappointed. It might simply come down to personal preference, but I don’t think this ramen was the right fit for me.
The service was nice and prompt. We had the fried shrimp skewer, very tasty. Not a fan of the ramen the broth and the noodles were bland. We got the medium tonkotsu not spicy at all even with the chili.

Ok so honestly I'd been here before & left a great review because the server begged ...not because the food was good We ate less than half the food It was horrible ! Chicken is way to salty and the curry obviously wasn't from today We enjoyed our Stella Artois But I guess you can't mess that up Unfortunately we live across the street but can't enjoy this place Good luck !

Their food was smelled stink like the meat stinky, the broth from ramen doesn’t taste good. I took it as to go my car smelled bad. The bun meat was small and not appetizing
Food was disgusting. The tonkatsu was burnt. The worker here was constantly dragging chairs and tables on the floor like scratching chalk on the board. Theres a lady doing terrible karaoke outside. Food smelled rotten. DO NOT COME HERE. TERRIBLE QUALITY

Their food was disgusting, their onion crsip topping was old which had horrible smell to it, no wonder there were any people and flies flying all over the hall. The server still had urge to charge me for that nasty meal.
