Where to start. My favorite local Mexican fast food. The quality of the meat across the board is delicious and of good quality. Great portions make it well worth the price. Asada burrito is my personal favorite. Also, ask them for cucumber, lemons, and radish on the side if you're into that!

I don't eat steak burritos, big my son likes them from here. He likes the Wet Steak Burrito. Always good, always tasty. If you're in the mood for some Mexican Food then this is the spot to grab a bite. Just remember this is a open air spot so make sure you wear warm atire.

The easiest way to explain this place is - A lot of selection - Delicious - Quick I always come here when I don't have a lot of time eating and i want to grab something to go. I always come here because they are very quick making burritos and it never let me down. Not only that, it is very good.

Absolutely loved my carne asada burrito. I drove by this place before and went to stop but didn't have time. Last night I drove by there again, made it a point to stop and I'm so glad that I did! Their carne asada has an amazing marinade which made my burrito that much more enjoyable. Will definitely be going back to try some more of their stuff.

Yum! Was looking for something quick, inexpensive, and vegan. Cactus managed all three and the food here is very good. It's not a vegan restaurant by any stretch, but the food is quite good. I have no problem recommending this place.

Pretty decent tacos. Hot sauce doesn't goof around, so it's easy to make your tacos properly hot. Everything seemed to be pretty quality, the tacos are on the small side like street tacos, not the larger tacos you see in some restaurants. Staff seemed friendly and nice. Would eat again. Outdoor seating had a ton of shade depending on the time of day. Of course. They have a large covered outside section, but no indoor seating. There is no parking, however there is street parking nearby that seems to have plenty of availability.

I recommend ordering in person. About 50% of my orders placed online would have missed or ignored my modifications. Despite this I have every intention to keep this place on my go to list for hardshell tacos. The beef hardshell tacos are so freaking good and somehow they're not greasy. How a beef taco of any shell rigidity can be non-greasy, and delicious is a mystery to me. Gotta be witchcraft or some kind of Mexican magic.

Carne asada tacos and chicken tacos were good. Salsa was good not enough though for 6 tacos. Also they had ran out of forks. Patio tables were clean. Prices are fair.

The food is good the tacos are tasty sometimes the meat is fatty but the real problem is the consistent getting my order incorrect it’s happened 2 out of 3 of the last times that I have gone and makes me want to stop coming back. How do you literally double check to make sure I want something and then not even give it to me lol

I'm not a fan of burritos, but I cannot deny myself a good burrito when it comes highly recommended. If its cold outside, I would recommend you get your order to go, but otherwise, its a fine corner to sit down and get down on some tacos. Their guacamole is great, the beans are delicious. The burrito has my seal of approval. I dont care for sour cream or american cheese on Mexican food, but thankfully, you have the option to exclude it from your order. My only gripe is that the salsa isn't spicy enough, but that's not a reason to stop coming here. One of the best burritos I've had in a long time. One of the best, not THE best, but one of the best. Top five best burrito.

This place has much more options and is so much better than Henry's Tacos, in my opinion only. I know Henry's Tacos is a Valley staple, but this place is totally different. I love their Carne Asada Super Fries! When they first opened up, they gave you huge portions, but now that they are more situated, they're portions have gotten smaller and prices a little higher. The downfalls of this place is the parking situation and the salsas aren't that impressive. They'll only give you either red or green salsa. You have to ask for the yellow, aka habanero, and even though the habanero is definitely spicy, there's no flavor. Nothing worse than having salsa with no flavor. You can also order ahead and pick up.

The place is super casual and the food was good. Ordered a ceviche and a cheese quesadilla. It was really good. The salsa comes with every thing you order and the quesadilla is a little greasy. But still very yummy. Eager to go back

Used to love the whole in the wall CT on Vine...so...I tried this one. It's good! Used to LOVE their Sopes...and the condiments you could add on your own. Well...Covid changed that. The one in the valley didn't have it when I went-so I tried the Tostada. Wow!! My favorite at The CT#3 is the Chicken Tostada. I think it's the best bang for your buck! Will and have bought it again. Nice spot..plenty of room to sit outside...especially on a nice day!

I love this place, The tongue tacos are really good, I know it is a little out there, but get them! They have lots of great options. I just wish they were not cash only. There really is no excuse not to take cards with all the ways you can do it now. They have an ATM outside but it has fees.

what can I say about this spot that hasn't been said already. I love the burritos here. they are hands down one of the best in the area. the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the lack of self service salsa bar like the other locations. other than that. YUM

Delicious Mexican food that is quick and reasonably priced. Menu has a wide variety of options. Impressive given that the location is so small. Parking is limited, but not hard to find. Overall a great place for a quick bite or to pick up take out.

The different meats we tried were delicious. We were very disappointed with the guacamole. Overall excellent food, great tasting with generous portions, but fresh guacamole each day might be a good idea.

Brought a friend from Japan here for a true LA taco experience and Cactus didn't disappoint! My buddy loved the food and the cashier was so friendly and excited to explain the food to him. His mind was literally blown away with, and I quote, "flavors I've never had in my entire life"

I tried the chicken taco, the beef taco, and the pork taco. The salsa you get on the side is great. Mid level Spicy and flavorful. Out of the 3 tacos I tried, the beef is their best one in my opinion. It is a Taqueria loved by the locals and I can see why. The menus is straightforward (nothing pretentious here) the tacos are affordable and simple but delicious and definitely will fill the taco shaped void you feel in your soul and stomach. The service is quick and very friendly. Looking forward to coming back next year! All the best to you guys!

As great as this place can be, it's inconsistent and the staff generally do not care about the quality of the food they out out. I order hard shell tacos and everytime i have to ask for the salad, salsa, sour cream, guac and cheese to be INSIDE the taco shell, 75% of the time the tacos are ontl their side and all the condiments are on top of the shell, om the side of the taco... now its not even possible to hold without getting sour cream on my hands. Today one of my hardshell tacos came already broken and the other has a short side and long side that were so wacky, there was a whole inch of shell on 1 side past where the other ended, just sloppy for no reason. Mind you i went at 3:30pm when there was no-one, i still waited 10 minutes for food and it was presented and made without much care. Too bad because the taste is good but too frustrating to recommend to anyone honestly.

I'd really hate to do this since I like this place so much, but Cactus is starting to slip. My boyfriend and I always come here together and he always gets the fish burrito. You can either get the fish burrito fried or grilled and my boyfriend ALWAYS says fried. What's interesting is that whenever we go home and he starts eating the burrito, it's usually grilled, even though he's asked for it fried. The most recent time we went, I told the sales woman to make sure that the burrito has fried fish and she starts to argue with me. She says that the fish burrito is always fried and I told her no, that sometimes it is grilled even though we've asked for it fried. Then she says "Well then you must not have ordered the fish burrito." Umm yeah, I think I know what I ordered, lose the attitude. (This problem has also happened with the Shrimp burrito). Long story short, my boyfriend and I won't be coming here anymore, despite the good food. The customer service has dropped and I've found much better Mexican restaurants closer to home.

I wanted to like the food because the service was so friendly and welcoming, but I was disappointed with my simple beef tacos order that turned out to be somewhat dry carne asada, with other filling that was less than appetizing.

Their asada tacos left much to be desired. It was dry and tasted like dog food looking like it was cooked days ago all withered and dried up. The tortillas were absolutely unexceptional. A taco has 4 ingredients and it's almost impossible to do onions or cilantro wrong. Redeeming factor was their carnitas and chicharon. I feel like this ain't the place for cow, however if your a pig fan its not terrible. Consider this spot for burritos and tortas but definitely not the spot for tacos.

When they get your order right then the food is great! They messed up my order twice, it’s not hard to NOT put onions on a burrito, this is not to speak against there food because it’s good but the employees here need to pay attention

Quick tip: CASH ONLY I want to love this place I really do, but the carne asada (if you can call it that) leaves much to be desired. In a burrito format the carne asada is chopped up so much that it's not far from being ground beef–how enjoyable is that? Additionally, their burritos are topped off with fillers i.e., rice & beans that you do not get to enjoy the nuances that good carne asada has to offer. Too bad. It's great that they offer California burritos here, but I feel they can't even get that one right either. Where they have done well is in their rebranding along with their expansion. Now, if they can keep up with quality control and consistency, that would be amazing.

Good food, too bad employees are clueless. Just spent 15 on hold for a 10 second pick up order. Heard them cussing and joking on the other end the whole time. Never got back to me, never once acknowledged after that. Pretty frustrating.

Pretty good Mexican food. Perfect for what it is, which is a quick pick up and eat. The wait is never too terribly long. You can also call in your orders and just pick it up. Do beware if they are very busy though, I noticed the quality really drops when they are rushed.

Steak taco....steak had grizzle in it and on a small plate so that the filling fell on the table, not onto the plate. Crunchy carnita taco was much better. Daughter ordered a bean and cheese burrito in which she complained was hard to cut. I found the meats did not have alot of flavor too it. Just okay food. For the price....would have rather eaten elsewhere. Staff was very nice and provided good service. Not a place where I would plan to go again....just if I was in a pinch for time and it was on my route. Second time eating here.

I want to love cactus more than I do. Some days we go and its amazing other days its awful.. its extremely hit or miss. The selections are good, its always fast, nice that we can walk there and has outdoor seating. Not a fan of the hot sauce & salsas they give you, they are very bland/vinegary. I had been wanting to try this spot for sometime as I often pass by on my bike rides. On my most recent ride I was able to smell the meat cooking and decided that today was the day. I came back and ordered an Asada Burrito, Asada Taco, and an Al Pastor taco. The Al Pastor taco was pretty weak, meat was plentiful but just really packed flavor for me. The Burrito was okay, I feel like they skimped out on the meat, of there had been more I would have really enjoyed it. Star of the show is the Asada Taco, it was loaded up, sauces were good. Staff was super friendly and attentive but honestly, I am not too sure if I would go back.

25$ for a coke and burrito, so prepare yourself for a little bit of sticker shock if you think a taco stand equals reasonable prices. Fajitas were undercooked but not the worse thing for a few peppers, the term "weak sauce" may have originated with their hot sauce. Maybe it's my fault for expecting to see cactus on the menu for a place called 'cactus taco' but it feels like an authentic Mexican joint that had to tone it down a bit for the people that can afford to blow some cash here on the reg. One hitter quitter for me, but that's coming from a guy that likes cactus in his cactus tacos. 🌵 Not bad, just disappointed.

With these updated prices, you might as well go and sit down at and actual restaurant because what the hell is this cactus. As someone who has been coming here for 8 years, it saddens me that I have to let go and go to another spot because the prices. I just had the #5 burrito and man it’s so disappointing eating this at such a high price like be so fr cactus. A Chipotle burrito is cheaper than a #5 burrito and that says a lot… Cactus you have broke my heart and lost my business, I hope one day prices go back to a reasonably standard but I’ll be going elsewhere.

Disappointing. The carne asada at this location was dry and flavorless. The tacos (hard shell, of course) were stuffed with meat and toppings (so many toppings it had to be served on a plate) but weren't very tasty nor filling. The wet burrito was really sad as the "sauce" was clearly premade and had no flavor at all. The burrito that was hiding under the sauce was, on the other had, quite tasty. Other notes: Service was quick. Seating was plentiful. Parking was limited.

This place is conveniently located but the cook's offerings are bland, not too creative and not tasty. There's better Mexican food around the block. Even for breakfast look elsewhere.. The burrito here just won't cut it .

Totally disappointed. I used to come here all the time during Covid, and hadn't been here in a while and stopped in on my way home tonight to get the vegetarian tostada because I was craving guacamole, and they use to put a ton of guacamole on the vegi tostada and when I got home and excitedly opened my box and lifted the tostada it had literarily maybe one small bite worth of guacamole. Not even one eighth of the amount it use to have, plus it had ZERO cheese on it. Totally not worth almost $10 with the tax. And I am not exaggerating...the amount of guacamole was so tiny that I wasn't even sure if it had any on it at all. This is why I hardly get food out anymore. Most places are now a total rip-off.

They have veggie nachos listed as $13.00, but when you go to order they charge you for the meat nachos with no meat... more $. And $6 extra for a few shrimp? When in a taco it's $2, Nd $4 on a burrito. Food is pretty good, but their prices are mislabeled and misleading.

Underwhelming Experience I recently visited a Mexican taqueria, and unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. The flavors of the tacos were lacking authenticity, and the tortillas were dry. The portion sizes were small for the price, leaving me unsatisfied. Although the presentation was good and the menu had variety, the lack of bold and authentic flavors was disappointing.

Always come here because food was adequate and it’s very convenient. The older cashier lady is always pissed and mean for no reasons. She double charged for everything and once we asked for a receipt she questioned us and said that they’re “running a respectable business”. Though we did present her back with how she overcharged us for every single order. Once we got back to use the store credit she also was pissed about it and never communicate in a normal manner. A bit of a shame because it’s such an easy place to go to but probably wont go back as long as she’s there.

The most mid Mexican food I’ve had for the highest price. We got a burrito, 4 tacos & fries came out to almost $50. They only gave us half of a lime. (Not a lemon but a lime) I asked for another piece of lime & a plate, they said they didn’t have plates and that if I wanted another slice of lime I’d have to pay extra for it… after saying that no it was fine the lady proceeded to talk bad about me to her coworker thinking I wouldn’t understand. Complete disaster. Do not recommend.

Cactus Studio City is Awful! The OG cactus on Vine is Good, but Std City sux! They take forever to make my order, when I got home I found out they didn't give me my bag of chips, that I paid for the meat in my beef taco tasted like meat gum it was disgusting overpriced and entitled annoying workers

Meh. Like Henry's Tacos before it, I SO SO wanted to LOVE not just like this spot. But I still dont get it. Everyone loves this place but the tacos were incredibly mediocre and bland. Dumped my horchata when I got an accidental close up of how filthy their machine was. My mother is Mexican and I grew up on tacos and Mexican (and soul) food. It seems I fare better with random taco trucks and perhaps "Lucy's" back in the day in L.A. Not worth the trouble.

I had a bad experience with you guys today. I called the first time and they left me on hold. Then I called a second time and nothing. Third time, they picked up, the lady answered very rudely and said “ we do not hang up the phone on anyone and saying they’re not busy” etc. I would like to know why they couldn’t answer my phone call order... I did ask if it was too busy I can try later but she kept saying no.. which did not make any sense.

They never ever include condiments that are asked for in delivery apps. Limes, cilantro and onions, pickled jalapeños and carrots. Every time I ask for these and they almost never include them. Why even have it as an option of you aren’t going to honor it?

This place was always subpar in terms of food quality, but lately they just don't have food. Twice in the last month, I've tried ordering something they don't have (today it was eggs so no breakfast burrito). Half the time they're not even open during morning business hours. I'm done trying to order from here anymore. It was disappointing before but now it's too frustrating to try. Thumbs down.

Not sure how this place has such high reviews. Absolutely mediocre food, without doubt. The steak is bland and dry with poor marinade, and the same could be said for just about everything else. I suppose the location is more important than the food itself. Speaking of locations, there is a taco truck right down the street on Vineland and Moorpark which only comes out at night which offers much more delicious and authentic Mexican food, and is also nowhere near overpriced like this place.

Wow. Really bad customer service. Don’t usually write a lot of reviews but very bad service. The lady at the window was really rude! The food was cold and we ordered our food before 3 guests and got served after them. And we had ordered a few burritos. The other Cactus on Woodman should be the way they treat guest but not like this place. I’ll stick to Henry’s from now on when I’m in this area. What a shame because the other location has way better service and the food comes out quicker considering the Woodman location gets way busier.

When this place first opened, it was awesome, but as time went on the food got old, they’re overpriced, the quality is horrible, they use the same beans from the day before or charred meats, , nothing is fresh. I would never recommend this as a real Taqueria, three nasty tacos cost $15.00. Talk about price gouging!!! I’m a longtime Studio City resident and I frequented this place on many occasions. If I could, I would give them zero stars. Poor customer service. The guy started calling numbers way past my number. A family that had arrived 10 minutes after me all got their food before me. I had also asked for onion and cilantro on the side. When I finally got my food there was none inside. I had to get out of my car, tell the guy that I got no onion and cilantro, . He puts something in the bag. I drive home. No cilantro and onion. Never again..

As soon as we walked in a worker was yelling (in Spanish) "you guys need to stop being so messy put a trash bag there" we waited about a minute for someone to take our order. The entire time the young man was on his phone texting through our entire transaction. He continued to talk on the phone as we were eating while being loud and obnoxious. Utterly disappointed by the food especially from all the hype around it. Terrible customer service. Will never come back here and never suggest this place to anyone.. The best thing about this place was leaving.

Sadly, I used to love this place. The last 10 times I have ordered from there they have gotten my order wrong. I get home to discover something is missing or they pack rice instead of beans. The food has also been going downhill, super greasy now. I'm very disappointed as this has been my goto spot for 2 years. Gonna have to find another mexican spot. I highly recommend you check your bags each time you order take out.

The Cali Burrito left me sick as a dog. I should’ve known by the way the kitchen looked and how the workers were handling the food. Skip unless you want to risk the possibility of food poisoning. There are better taco spots in the area!

Please do not eat here!!! I can understand if the flavor of food is not what you expect. What I can't understand is how they serve food with expired vegetables. When I received my order I found the lettuce and tomatoes soggy in terrible condition and tasted like they had been in the fridge for several days. They definitely do not use fresh or same day ingredients. My rice was hard and the beans tasted like they just came out of the can. Not Mexican food!!!!!

I love local authentic eats so I really had my hopes up with this place. I got the bacon and egg breakfast burrito and the bacon was rotten. I know because I've left bacon in my fridge for weeks and tried to cook it and it was the same smell and taste. I tried picking it out as much as I could but hard to get it all. I'm hoping I don't get food poisoning. Also at $14+ I might as well have gone to Chipotle where the food safety standards are more strict.

I loved Cactus in Hollywood for many years. Now, the North Hollywood location is closer to home. We bought two burritos ($15/each) to-go and my son's burrito had a pink fingernail with glitter in it. I have tried three times to resolve this with Cactus but the staff says they do not know what to do and the manager is not available. I've left my phone number several times and no one has called me back (it's been almost two weeks) or refunded the cost of food we disposed of. I'm disappointed with their lack of quality and care for a customer.
