Although this restaurant doesn’t have traditional waiters, the staff goes out of their way to make you feel like family. They check in on you while you’re eating, offering drink refills and bringing extras like salsa. Honestly, the service is better than some places that do have waiters, and I was in awe. The food? Absolutely delicious. Everything is made to order, piping hot, and the portions are generous. There’s a vibrant energy here—everyone’s smiling, hustling, and making sure the food is served promptly. The place is spotless, and you can really feel the respect in the air. What makes Tom’s even more special is how it restores what’s often lost in today’s world. In an age where people are too busy on their phones or don’t even say hello to each other, this restaurant is a refreshing reminder of connection and warmth. People greet each other like old friends, and the positive energy is contagious—you feel like you’re eating among family. Wanting to see if this experience was just a fluke, I visited again, and it was just as amazing. The third time, I went during a busy weekend breakfast, and the vibe was just as welcoming. I don’t even live in the area, but I’ll definitely keep coming back. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy great food in an atmosphere that feels like home.

I've only been through the drive thru, but I ordered the Carne asada fries and you have to order your fries extra crispy, trust me! Also had the Tom's Burritto which is a breakfast burrito and ordered it with no veggies and salsa inside. This burrito kept me full all day it was so good! I'll keep coming here and recomend it.

And all at decent prices. The staff is outstanding. The dining room is kept clean and spotless. And they offer indoor and outdoor dining. I've been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. So if you're hungry, this is the spot. I'll see you there.

Look, I've only gone here once. Got the chilly cheese fries. Nothing else. I liked them, did it feel like enough for the price? I would say no. Were they good? Absolutely. Friendly service? Totally. But I understand different cities, different prices. I can get large (I mean share fries with a 19 year old and both be full) for $8 at my local place. But these were good. Not what I expected (I know I'm spoiled) but not bad for a quick drive specially in Burbank. Will be back and try their burgers for sure.

I come here a couple of times a week, usually on weekdays, as the weekend is very busy. Parking: Even though I walk, there's usually lots of parking available. Service: The staff here are just awesome. They are always happy and smiling, even when they're slammed. They never cease to anticipate the needs of their customers. Though they don't have the biggest dining room, their bussers are incredibly quick and efficient at their job, so you're never waiting too long. Servers are quick on the coffee refills, and I've rarely had to ask. I generally don't see the bottom of my cup. I've been to neighboring business that can't even get these basics down, and I don't go there, even though their food is amazing. Food: I haven't tried everything on the menu, but I have tried the burgers, french toast, omlettes, and chicken salad, all of which are wonderful. Overall their food is not too greasy, and they seem to change their oil appropriately. I would say that their pancake syrup could be better, as it's a bit gloopy, and I would guess that it's more corn syrup than maple syrup. This isn't new to the restaurant industry, as actual maple syrup is very expensive. Unfortunate they do not serve fresh fruit here, so I would say that their menu could be just slightly improved there. Cleanliness: I've never sat at a dirty table, nor have I had any dirty silverware. Even their prep area, which you can see from the order counter, is in great condition and proper order. Summary: Overall, this place is a prime example of great management from the top down. I highly recommend it. Rating: 4.9

Tom's is so good!!! A coworker told me about this place like 2 months ago, and let me tell you, my twin and i can't get enough. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars - i am really picky with my French fries... that is the only thing, the fries could be better.. it is definitely the brand of the potato. The staff is amazing, super nice.. even tho they are super busy- every one is working, smiling, and they speak. Some places people seem angry... but not at Tom's.. Delicious food, super amazing staff, quick services. Oh, and the plusss- they aren't charging 2 dollars for ranch or ketchup, etc. I was able to request a thousand island dressing - there was no charge i was shocked. All of these other places charge you for sauces, and I am not sure of why. Most of those items do not have a long shelf life. Anyway- try Tom's it is 🔥

The pastrami sandwich is the bomb!! Breakfast burrito was good staff really nice atmosphere was wonderful. You order your food, they give you a number, and then you go sit. When the food is ready they bring it to your table. I liked this pastrami better than Wexler’s Deli.

Absolutely the very best in fast food. They have everything from vegetarian burritos to fish and chips and the best darn egg and cheese omelette you can order with crunchy hash brown potatoes. And their employees are very very friendly. I personally use the drive-thru which can be a little daunting, but their food is well worth your time and change!

Came on the past Saturday and I’m still thinking about the good time I had at Tom’s. Went with my partner and we ordered the tuna melt with fried zucchini instead of fries. For myself I got the classic burger combo. The fries are my absolute favorite. Perfectly crisp. The zucchini could use more time on the fryer it felt too soft to be a fried zucchini. Great atmosphere, you can really feel the love inside the place. The people, the art on the walls, how clean the place is. Well taken care of by everyone. Will come back soon. Definitely recommend!

Great family owned diner. It can get crowded but they serve food quick so people move pretty fast. If it’s busy then parking may but tight in the main lot but I was able to find parking down a side street. I got a Texas Burger and I added pastrami to it. Just figured I would try it since they say that the pastrami is good. It was a really good mix! Overall great diner but can get busy.

It is the best french toast I’ve had in LA! It was cooked perfectly. I loved the strawberry jam I had; I prefer it to fresh fruit when I have french toast. It had the right amount of cream. It was definitely the highlight of my trip! My partner had biscuits and gravy and he loved it. We will definitely be back here when we are in the country next time. Best biscuit & gravy you will find in LA ThIs place is normally kind of busy and has a lot of regulars and understandably so. My girlfriend and I are absolutely addicted to this place and go every weekend. You gotta try their home fries! Plus the bacon is great and the biscuits and gravy are legendary. And trust me, I am from Kentucky so I know my way around some biscuits and gravy! 😂 They have plenty of other lunch and dinner options as well but in my opinion they have absolutely nailed breakfast. They have the way the cook everything down to a science because they never make you wait too long no matter how busy they are. A well deserved 5 stars.

It was my first time at Tom's Burgers in NoHo, I was impressed with their service, cleanliness, friendly knowledge staff, i ordered fry chicken dinner, the crispy on the chicken was cooked just perfect, was served to order hot and fresh, the tossed salad also was fresh. I am definitely going to come back many times to Tom's, I highly recommend Tom's Burgers not just for their burgers but for the whole menu. Also, this place gets really busy.

I've driven past Tom's quite often and finally decided to stop in the other day. I always expected it to just be a typical fast food place, in fact I'm pretty sure I kept confusing this place with a Original Tommy's World Famous Hamburgers. As a LA transplant I see that this may be intentional, if so, the line of "Tom's Famous Family restaurant" should definitely change their name cause they are unique enough to not need to do that. Anyways, I stopped in and grabbed a Bacon Cheeseburger combo. Tom's has nice booth seating and a large menu. Reminded me a bit of a Waffle House with the chill diner vibes. The burger was quite good and I enjoyed the fries although they seemed unseasoned when delivered. I don't mind salting fries myself but a little bit of seasoning on fries fresh out the grill just makes a lot of difference. Overall I enjoyed this place and the next time I'm craving a diner experience I think I will definitely stop by again.

Tom's Famous Family Restaurant is a fast food dinner in NoHo. They have an extensive menu with a ton of options, including a lot of vegetarian eats. They're cool, efficient and friendly - the bean burrito (hold the dairy for me), veggie breakfast burrito (hold the cheese and eggs for me also) and veggie burger are some of my go to dishes. You order at the counter and receive a number for your table as well as service directly to where you choose to sit. You can request more salsa, silverware, and refills as needed. The parking lot is pretty spacious, though not massive, and they also have a drive thru that gets some use. This is one of many locations but one of the few in greater LA.

Funky spot I just found myself by, discovered awesome French fries! How this place has really good ones is a mystery to me. Soft in the middle but that light, French-style crispy crunch on the end corners. Oil was not old, flavor was good. Shocked. I’ll will come here when I have my chili fry cravings. I like the food but two times they’ve gotten my order wrong. Then I go back because they were way off when ordering through the drive thru and they take the food to fix a new version of what I actually ordered when they could just let me keep the wrong order and cook what they got wrong. It’s a waste of food and their own money to do it the other way. Or just ask if the customer wants the food remade or if the customer wants to keep the food. I understand restaurants do this but it’s such a waste. I really don’t care if staff ends up eating it; I just don’t want it to go to waste. They fixed it so that’s good but why do they get the order wrong in the first place? The lady at the window never confirmed the order and wrote it wrong on the receipt. I didn’t know that before I paid for it. I drove home and found the order and receipt were wrong. Then I drive back to fix it and Tom’s just throws everything away. They didn’t even give me a refund on the price change for the item they charged, which was more expensive than what I got. I liked this place but I wish they would change these things. I’m going to have to think twice about coming back there.

This place had really good pastrami’s but came in and not good anymore the pastrami meat was super thick. I felt like I was eating ham! They need to get that thin sliced deli pastrami back because it was to thick! Yuck!!! Not ordering that ever again.

Very particular about my eggs & the texture. So when I asked for over medium egg I expected an over medium egg (Drive through). I've lived in North Hollywood my entire life, and I don't think I've ever been to a place that has changed more... But for the worse, in my life. And if I have, they're long gone. Every time I've chosen to come here because I wanted to either give it another chance, or more specifically choose to eat at a local place instead of a more corporate drive-thru I am severely disappointed in not only myself and the choice that I made, but the food itself. For one thing, the prices always seem to get higher every time I visit, they find NEW ways to nickel and dime you for "upgrades..." For the food itself? I don't think they ever season anything. It's always SO BLAND that I have to rush to grab whatever seasonings I have to do their job and make the food palatable. The workers on the intercom and windows are always either pushy or dead inside, which makes me just want to speed away and order from Jack in the Box or Carls Jr. And honestly, the people who work at those places are probably slightly less annoyed that they have to be there than at Tom's. I'm pretty done with this place. I would rather skip a meal than eat here. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Ordered chicken club combo. And an ice tea. $22. I received a six inch sub and fries and 2 drinks. The sandwich was soggy and had a piece of chicken, bacon, avacodo. A club sandwich is supposed to be on regular bread cut in four pieces. Bottom line the sandwich was not a club on wet bread for an expensive $22. They charge an additional 4% fee for stocking product or something like that. This is expensive and horrible food. The prices kept going up and I tolerated it. But this is my last visit.

Just double check you're orders when picking up or going to the drive thru. It's my 2nd time getting the wrong order. First time I did not go back 2nd time I went back to get my order corrected.

Every time I go here I keep getting my hopes up that they'll get my order right. When they actually get my order correct, it's great, fantastic, perfectly fine diner food. But here we are. It's like the staff is allergic to taking custom orders. Need them no not include pickles or onions on your meal, sorry no, that will be included. Lactose intolerant? Tough luck, you're getting cheese. They just keep on consistently messing up orders. I dunno why I keep going except in hopes that it'll be like that one time they actually kept something off my meal and enjoyed it. Gonna be a while before I go back and waste my money.

This place was cool but now it's bad. They charge 4% on your entire bill "to offset their costs!" WTH...? In addition to that they charge another percent to use your card. In addition to that you already pay the city tax. And last but not least, they ask for a tip....a tip for giving you your food that you paid for and picking up. This is getting ridiculous.👎

I tried Tom's for the first time today. I ordered pickup, my food was not ready when I arrived so I observed the cooks while I waited. Nobody who was making food was wearing gloves. The man who made my sandwich had a wash cloth next to his station that he wiped down the area down with between making sandwiches. He wiped his hand on his clothes, he placed food on top of the dirty cloth then proceeded to use for an order and never washed his hands. Also, the sandwich I received had hairs in it.

Ordered thru door dash. Ordered chicken fried steak breakfast. What I received was a mound of gravy,eggs and potatoes. When I called they wanted to down play it an say a manager will be in at 10. So I drove there. Showed them what I received, they offered to remake, I accepted. While waiting for my order I watched the cook eat while making food on the line. I work in the food industry. That's a no-no. Used to love Tom's. Will NEVER return after this experience.

I pulled into the toms drive though - guy just ignored me for a bit and told me I hadn’t ordered right - he didn’t seem to want my business so I was happy to go somewhere else!

I used to get 3 breakfast burritos a week. Yolanda? The cashier always has problems w 3 salsas, so I usually buy 1! Today she ignored my request. Gave me the wrong amount of salsas and Refused to acknowledge me in drive thru for 5 minutes! Then demanded $$$ for the salsas!!! And refused to give them! I will NEVER eat here again!!!!!! DONT EAT this Poison

Stay far away from this place. They took my order and blamed everything on me when they got it wrong. The cooked laughed. The cash register walked up and tried to blame me instead of apologizing for his mistake. I asked for a refund but they didn’t give. I didn’t even trust the food to be clean after that. EVERYONE in the establishment made it the customers fault when they were in fact in the wrong.

Had a very simple drive through order that they messed up and I did not notice untill I got home. Ended up throwing the meal away. Very disappointing.

Tom's Burger are usually good, exact today. My boyfriend and I came today at 3:30pm, I was craving breakfast so my boyfriend ordered scrambled eggs and hashed browns for me. My food today was either burnt, rubbery and hard as a rock. The scrambled eggs are too rubbery and overcook. The harsh brown overcooked and burnt to a crisp. The toast was burnt too. All overcooked.

I found a burned plastic in my food. I'm assuming it was cooked with a batch. In case anyone else gets sick, I'd take the resturaunt into consideration for it's cause. I know it's fast food, but plastic cooked in food is seriously careless, unsanitary and so many people must've ate from the same batch.
