We stopped here after looking for some different places to try for lunch while visiting Niagara Falls. This place had great reviews and is great, everything we got we loved. We got chicken salda(chicken on a stick), edamame, shrimp in a blanket, soft shell crab and shrimp massaman curry. Definitely a place to try if your visiting Niagara Falls.

I get takeout here all the time! Excellent Thai and Korean dishes and great service. Personal favorites are the Massaman Curry, Pad Thai (of course), and Tom Yum soup.

Went for lunch. I had BonBinmip which was a delicious dish that came with soup, kimchi, spiced radish, pickled cucumbers and marinated bean sprouts. The main dish was served in a hot stone bowl with rice, bok choy chicken (can get beef or tofu), carrots, radish and a sunny side egg on top. They also have a cold version which is actually BonBinmip what I had had another word added but I don’t know it. Everything was so fresh and delicious. Very fair prices-who charges $1.50 for a huge Pepsi anymore?? I very highly recommend

Delicious food! I had the pad Thai and my girlfriend had the sweet and sour chicken stir fry. Very filling and fresh. The owner/waiter is super sweet, attentive, and a great host. Everything looks clean and neat. Will definitely be back soon!

A delightful quiet place to enjoy authentic (and DELICIOUS) Thai and Korean cuisine. Hubby and I went for a lunch date, we are definitely coming back. They have an extensive menu. We order soup, the vegetable tempura, bulgogi, noodles, and had the usual sides like kimchi. The owner served us and prepared the food. Polite friendly staff. You feel like you are eating at a fancy place but without the fancy prices. It's a lovely little place. I would recommend it for anyone to come. Families with older children will find it a perfect place to try some new cuisine with the kids. Bathrooms are clean, there was not a changing station (for new mamas), but it was a nice little place. 5 stars! They also have take-out.

This was so good! Best Thai I have had in the area! Pad Kee Mow and Basil Thai Chili were delicious, the pork was tender and fresh. All the veggies were cooked to perfection. Don’t forget to get the spring rolls the sauce was so good. Don’t skip this one!

Amazing food & service. The owner himself waited and took great care of me. The food was ready quickly and the presentation was great. Very good food for a cheap price. I have been to a lot more expensive Asian places for a lot worse food. You should really give this place a try and make sure to get the Thai sweet tea.

This is an excellent new restaurant, serving Korean and Thai cuisine. It’s quite a comfortable and quaint family owned business with cooking that feels homemade with their variety of options. The owners are wonderfully pleasant and friendly, making my day the both times I’ve been there so far. They’ve also given us discounts and more than enough free food to try. Of course they have things to work on and improve being a new restaurant but I think minor complaints may be the product of a budding restaurant or cultural differences. Regardless, it’s a lovely restaurant with excellent food, personable service, and a great opportunity to support a Burmese-owned business, which is something rare and unique to find in Western New York. I’ll be going back again to try some dessert soon! Also, pro-tip: if you get the khao tom mud, while it may look like a delicious wrap, make sure to unwrap the banana leaf before you dig it. While it may look delicious, the banana leaf is basically a wrapper for the snack!

J
Jessica Morales

Food was great! I was hesitant because the previous Yummy Thai went downhill after many good years. But we gave the new place a try and was pleasantly suprised! Kids enjoyed it as well! We ordered take out :) Will definitely be back

I have been here a few times. Great Thai food. They also serve Korean and Chinese dishes. Takes a little bit to get your food, but worth the wait. Made from scratch cooking that's awesome! Very, very clean restaurant and restrooms. Prices reasonable. Give it a try before going to a show at the Riveria. You won't be disappointed!

K

Spring Asian cuisine is owned by a Burmese family. Husband and wife, with no employees. They’re a small business and incredibly sweet. In fact, they’re also part of a marginalized ethnic minority in Burma called the Chin people (specifically the Uppu tribe) so this would also be a good way of uplifting marginalized business owners. But every time I go, he remembers that I prefer coconut milk for my drinks and veggie/tofu for my entrees. The food is mostly Thai and Korean, with some Burmese food as well. And while nothing is “explicitly” vegan, it’s fairly easy to find vegan options, since almost everything can be made with tofu. And much of the appetizers are just vegetables anyway. Now it’s hard to communicate with the language barrier, so it’s tough to tell whether or not there’s cross contamination or milk powder or whatnot. But he always shows the packages and tries to ask questions to his wife if we ask. He also tends to be very giving. Whenever I go in, he gives me something to try for free. He’s a very sweet man and I love the food. So, if anyone would be interested in going, the food is tasty, the owner is incredibly nice, and you’d be supporting a struggling marginalized family.

It was literally the BEST Thai and curry we've ever had. And you could really tell he took great pride in his food. It was presented very beautifully and you could feel his excitement. He was overjoyed when I said we were eating in.

Korean food was excellent, Tai food was good. Large menu choices serving most of the popular Koran and Tai foods. Service was fast and friendly. Only restaurant in town that makes Gimbap that I've found. I will be returning often.

Our lunch crew at work orders from different local restaurants each week. Today was our first time ordering from Spring Asian Cuisine. The food was amazing. We ordered Pad Thai, the Bulgogi Lunch box, and Yook Gae Jang. The Yook Gae Jang was my lunch and it was spicey, flavorful, full of vegetables and the beef that just melted in my mouth. There was a side of rice, pickled cucumber, kimchi, bean sprouts, and broccoli. Everything tasted great, food was hot. Portions were filling. We were very happy and we highly recommend.

Spring Asian Cuisine is one of my few "go-tos" when I'm looking to dine out. The food is consistently fresh and delicious. Plenty of healthy options, vegetarian and vegan as well. The staff is welcoming and attentive. I recommend the fresh Spring Rolls, Healthy Garlic, Peanut King or any of the delicious Curries.

J
Joseph Giambra

My family and I order from there all the time. The food is amazing. It’s best enjoyed in the restaurant. It could use a little more decoration inside, but that doesn’t take away from their professionalism. They have a lovely selection of food, even my teenager can find something to eat.

I highly recommend Spring Asian Cuisine. Just ate here today and we absolutely loved it. Everything was delicious and the owner couldn't have been nicer. Definitely try the curry puffs.

Being in North Tonawanda, I was a bit skeptical that this would be an authentic experience. Boy was I wrong. This was some of the best chicken pad Thai I’ve ever had. You could hear the food being made fresh in the back kitchen. The owners are very sweet and the husband and wife run the whole place themselves. They cook and wait on guests.

J

Spring Asian has quickly become our favorite spot for takeout! The service is fast and friendly and the food is consistently delicious - it is obviously carefully prepared with fresh ingredients. Pad Thai was a go-to in the beginning, but we've been gradually expanding our horizons to other entrees and apps. The dumplings are especially incredible. Thanks for all the great snacks! **Photos not included because we are usually scarfing down the food too quickly 😋

I absolutely love the food coming from this restaurant! My family had a going away party, and we placed a rather huge take out order last weekend. Not only was the food delicious, but the staff was super friendly! Everything we ordered was hot, nicely put together, and fast! We will be ordering again.

I recently dined at Spring Asian Cuisine, and it was truly a delightful experience. I started with the chicken satay, which was bursting with flavor and had the perfect balance of spices. The satay sauce was a highlight, complementing the tender chicken skewers beautifully. For my main entree, I opted for the Pad Thai, and it was nothing short of authentic. The noodles were cooked to perfection and tossed with a medley of fresh vegetables, tofu, and the classic Pad Thai sauce. The flavors were just as I remembered from my travels in Southeast Asia. What truly stood out was the impeccable service. The staff at Spring Asian Cuisine were attentive, courteous, and knowledgeable about the menu. They made sure our dining experience was comfortable and enjoyable. Overall, Spring Asian Cuisine offers an authentic culinary journey with fantastic dishes and top-notch service. It's a must-visit for anyone craving delicious Asian cuisine.

Phenomenal experience! Service was so good. Food was amazing! We had the Korean Barbecue combo and healthy garlic fried rice. Everything was made to order, fresh and so good. The owner served us and he was so freindly and happy. I was very impressed. We will be back.

We had heard a lot of good things lately about the food at the Spring Asian Cuisine and tonight we decided to try it. The very friendly owner greeted us on the way in. The restaurant is simple but nice. The food and service were very good. It takes a little longer to make food the right way and the Pad Thai Chicken was excellent. I can't say enough about the flavor of this dish. They definitely take pride in what they do.

Small, family run restaurant with absolutely delicious food. Ordered the curry puffs and Thai green curry. The curry puffs were nice, they come with a sweet and sour dipping sauce that is obviously homemade and fresh. The Thai green curry is off the hook! Just the right amount of heat and plenty of fresh vegetables and chicken (you can order it with other proteins as well). I definitely recommend this place and will be back! You guys better support this place, it's a hidden jewel!

We tried this Spring Asian for the first time tonight, it is just great! I grew up eating Korean food in the home of a friend, this is very authentic homemade Korean food. We dined in the restaurant, it was spotlessly clean, the owner and husband of the cook was our server, he was very pleasant. My husband travels for business and had just returned from NYC and Toronto and could not believe the quality of the food at this small family restaurant in North Tonawanda (so close to home). The portions are generous and the prices is extremely reasonable. Thank you for opening this great place on Webster Street!!

This charming little family-owned business is an absolute gem hidden within North Tonawanda. The Kimchi Jjigae was soo flavorful and with just the right amount of spice, it was the perfect soup to help clear my sinuses. my wife said the Massaman Curry was the best curry she had ever had. My son had the Tamarind Chili stir fry and had nothing but good things to say. He and his mother are usually extremely picky eaters but there were absolutely no leftovers when we finished eating. This was some of the best food we've ever had. Worth every penny and second. Thank you, Spring Asian Cuisine! You have become our new favorite restaurant ❤️

Stopped to check this new restaurant out. I ordered the panang curry, with sticky rice, which was very good. My husband also liked his Tom yum soup and steamed dumplings. Prices are also very fair. The restaurant just opened in March, the owner told us. We will definitely be back, as the food was worth the drive from Buffalo. We hope others will discover this place, as well.

So my friends invited me out for dinner, and this place.. reminded me of my trip to South Korea. I had ate my way around Seoul, and the one place that drew me back was a small husband and wife ran restaurant. I was there for a month, ate there at the small place at least 6 times. This shot me right back there. The noodles ( had 2 different kinds glass and Pad See Ew ) were excellent. The Bulgogi, wow that was really ready good.. i will be back for that. Pretty authentic to the service, with all the little accessories it typicall comes with. Very tasty. The menu has a lot of facets of different countries. Thai, Korean, some Japanese influence. The food is cooked to order so do not expect it to come out immediately..I would have been disappointed if it did. Thai Tea, great 👍 and they are able to accommodate my gluten free, seafood free, and dairy free guests. 😋 The gentleman serving us was so nice. I will be back for sure.

I’m visiting from California so I didn’t expect any good Korean food near Buffalo, New York, but I was pleasantly surprised. I had Korean Galbi Tang(beef bone soup) and few others items like Thai tofu salad and kimchi soup. Everything was delicious. The owner was friendly and even suggests our family to visit a nearby river which we did. I’m hoping to visit this restaurant before I leave.

Literally the best food I’ve ever had in my entire life, it was a great amount of food for the price, and the food was amazing quality, I left so full but feeling so nice. The man serving us was extremely nice, quick to serve us and the food came out pretty quick!! The atmosphere was amazing, very clean building, just a nice place to sit and eat with friends or even alone! This has quickly become a favorite spot and I plan to come back again with friends!!! (HIGHLY recommend the “lunch box” special)

This place is fantastic. This was my first time here and the pad woon sen was delicious. Very nice resturant, very clean located in a great spot. The take out order was ready very quickly and piping hot when I picked it up. Perfect. The owner was very nice and a pleasure to speak too. The entire experience was very nice all together. Will certainly be back. Highly recommend Thanks

We have gotten take out from Spring Asian Cuisine twice now. We are super thrilled we found it! The gentlemen who I believe runs is is EXTREMELY friendly. The food is great and the prices are legit. We have tried mostly Thai food but we are excited to try Korean BBQ the next time!

Right from the start of the phone call until the end we were very happy. Extremely polite and accommodating since we ordered close to closing time, which we hate to do. . Food was absolutely awesome! Whoever was working , possibly the owner, was extremely polite and friendly. Everything was very different from the typical we are used to, in a great way, so delicious!!! Definitely love the extra “apps” they throw in! Definitely will be back!!!

Our family of 4 ate here tonight and it was great. The gentleman waiting on us was very nice and personable. We ordered the golden triangles and wang mandu for appetizers and for our entrees we got chicken pad Thai, pineapple fried rice with roasted duck, pad see ew with chicken, and green curry with beef. We loved everything we got. The portions were large and the food was so hot and fresh we had to wait for it to cool down. I highly recommend this restaurant. If ever in the area again we will definitely eat here!

Delicious! Do not be fooled, this is NOT another Chinese take-out! Amazing Thai and Korean place. Very affordable! Green curry ($17) and pad Thai ($17) were both delicious. The Thai tea and Thai coffee were both great (definitely sweet though- tasted like a Starbucks drink). The owner/waiter/busboy/cashier was joyful and full of life; he made the experience much better. Highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back.

I was so sad when yummy Thai closed.. BUT, im so happy Spring Asian is here now! I love that they do a combo of Thai & Korean cuisine and they alter recipes to suit vegan customers! Im not vegan but i think thats awesome. On my first visit i was craving a sweet n sour crispy chicken dish they recommended a Korean dish kang poong gi was delicious and satisfied my craving. It came with all these sides, kim chi being one of them yum! I also tried panang curry it was sweet and delicious. For a starter i went w/ the golden triangle. These were unexpectedly light and dipping sauce was great! I also got a giant pot of jasmine green tea yay! Great food, clean place, friendly service.

Came here today because the store we wanted to go to was closed. But i don’t regret it because the food was amazing and the owners were extremely friendly. The bulgogi dish we ordered came with side dishes like radish which was my favorite. I’m glad to have discovered this restaurant.

Came into this restaurant to be greeted by a friendly man (which I presume is the owner). It seems like him and a woman that came out of the kitchen, that I presume is his wife, are probably a tag team at running this small family business/restaurant. I had ended up trying an appetizer (the Korean fried beef dumplings), 2 entrées (the Tom Yum soup, and Basil fried rice), and also got a Thai iced tea. The Thai food is 100% authentic. I ate with my Malaysian friend and he approved of it (and it has tasted like authentic Thai food I've had) All the dishes were amazing, the Thai tea was also great! The man was extremely friendly and welcoming to us! The only tiny issue (which isn't really a problem for me) is he seems to go help out in the kitchen and leave nobody up front when the restaurant has a number of people. This could be awkward for people just walking in (saw a guy come in and leave whilst waiting for a little bit) This isn't bad if you're patient, but most people have no patience and will probably get upset. The food and the friendliness of the man would be worth the wait, in my opinion (which wasn't/ isn't that long)! Will be a returning customer for sure!

Absolutely wonderful. We wanted a nice lunch on a Friday as a break from unpacking after a move and they didn't disappoint. I like to ask for recommendations and the gentleman who took our order - I didn't catch his name - was spot-on in what he recommended. My partner got one of the lunch boxes and I had the kimchi jiggae and we shared an appetizer sampler. I nearly had to be rolled out (despite the very modest prices) and am looking forward to my next visit!

This place is honestly one of the best restaurants I have gone out to eat at. The place is so cute and family run so I also feel good supporting it. I believe the owner himself has waited my table every time i’ve been there and every time he greeted us with a smile and positive attitude. The food here is so amazing and the prices are so affordable! I often end up tipping the cost of my meal because the food is just that great for so cheap! Even as someone with a peanut allergy the restaurant is great at letting me know if i’m able to have certain dishes or not as long as I let them know before hand. If you’re on Webster street I truly recommend giving this place a chance, you will not regret it. Personally, I am a huge fan of their bento box meals but I just can’t help but get an order of spring rolls as an appetizer anytime I go. This place is truly a diamond in the rough and deserves so much more attention! I would give it more stars if I could, truly amazing.

A simple restaurant with amazing food and service. There are many different types of cuisine you can choose from. I highly recommend this place.

Came here today because the store we wanted to go to was closed. But i don’t regret it because the food was amazing and the owners were extremely friendly. The bulgogi dish we ordered came with side dishes like radish which was my favorite. I’m glad to have discovered this restaurant.

This place was so great that we went here twice in our 3-day stay in Tonowanda! The food is delicious and healthy, and the owner was very friendly.

Every time I go here I can’t stop thinking about the amazing food we had. The best Korean and Thai food in the area. It’s small and cozy. Good prices and good serving sizes.

I cannot say enough good things about this place! The food is absolutely delicious. My husband and I have not stopped talking about it since we went and ate here last week. We will forever be regulars. Cannot wait to go back!

We got takeout from here and it was fantastic! Lots of variety, great quality, and reasonable prices! We are thrilled to have a Korean/Thai place close to our home that we can rely on for good food. Definitely worth a try.

So delicious!! We Stopped in today as we were exploring the area and got the Tom Yum soup with tofu and the Pad See Ew with beef and a side of kimchi. All the food was so delicious, the restaurant was very clean (including the restroom) and the gentleman who was working was delightful to talk to! I love that they offer both Thai and Korean cuisine. 100% recommend trying this place out!

We've gotten take out from here a few times. I always try a different meal and all of them have been great. The man at the front desk is always very friendly. We also have some dietary restrictions and they're always great with answering questions regarding ingredients that may be a problem.

First time eating Korean food and it was good. The only thing I did not like was cans of soda. I hope maybe someday that might change

The food was really great, but service was very slow. Full restaurant but only 2 people working. If you go, give it time. The food is really worth it!

The food is very good. The day we ordered takeout it appeared only two people were working; the cook and the waiter, working hard too.

Thai or Koren! Came for lunch at 1pm on a Saturday and there was only 1 lone man eating a stir fry. The decoration is nice and clean; it makes for a good Asian atmosphere. The fried rice is one of their signature dishes. The husband is the waiter, he is very nice and positive but his English language limits him when talking about the menu. The wife is Thai; they offer both Thai and Korean food. The menu has a lot to offer The chopstick silverware is very interesting. The Tom Kha soup is good, filled with chicken, mushroom and lemongrass. The stir fry is filled with veggies and spicy. All the meals were served very warm in their special bowl but I hate it when one of the party gets its meal 5 minutes later the first one. I had my pad Thai with extra peanuts, it was sweet and tasty. The veggie sweet and sour was served with a generous portion of fresh vegetables. When we left, only 1 additional table was filled.

Enjoyed dinner here on a week night. We are a party of 3, and arrived to the restaurant 2 hours before closing. The gentleman (assuming it’s the owner) greeted us with a friendly smile. The food is very tasty and flavourful, the Tom yum soup could use a bit more spice. Fried rice and the seafood clay pot were surprising good. Service is excellent will come back next time.

New ownership. It is still good food but the service is not the best. Server came over to our table pointed at the food and said “who ordered this”. I laughed so hard but like seriously how does bro not know what he just brought out to the table and it was one plate.

The food here is good. The Thai Ice tea is great. The prices are a little on the high side. The only problem I have with this place is time it takes to be served. I’ve probably eaten there 10 times. Never a quick turnaround. This last time my wife and I were there for lunch; we had to wait over an hour to get 2 plates of street noodles with no appetizers. The place was not even half full and they were fully staffed. Time is money, my time is valuable as well. I’m turning away from this place because they just can’t produce food in a timely fashion.

We eat here regularly. Tonight was extremely disappointing. They didn't have half of the appetizers. The young waiter didn't relay to us that they didn't have our third choice in appetizers or put in a second order of fried pork dumplings. Had to send soup back to be fixed as ordered. Did not enjoy tonight at all.

I drove out of my way to get here, made sure it was open, check the menu and knew what I wanted to order. Arrived here was greeted by a piece of paper stuck to the door saying they were closed. That’s just great business. I guess I spent my money elsewhere and will never come back…

We came here last week for takeout and the food was amazing. We decided to come back Friday and dine in. Never again. We sat for 1 hours waiting for food. The owner gave away our food. Then never told us just said it will be a moment. The only way we found out is because we said what’s going on? Oh they also served everyone that came in after us and had bigger parties than us. There were only 3 of us. There was a party of 7 and a party of 5 that came in 10 minutes after we got there. They were all fed. Then we had to pay for 4 brisk ice teas that we had sitting at our table while waiting for the food that never came. Never again. Unless you have 3 hours to waste. Ended up spending also $33 on a cold appetizer.

Under new management original owners have left. Used to be authentic thai and Korean food. Not authentic or good at all anymore ! Stay away! Rather have pf change frozen meal from tops!

I ordered Tonkatsu for delivery and the tonkatsu was the worst I have ever had! I wanted to give this place a try since I saw that all the reviews were good. The tonkatsu was dry, hard and tasted like cardboard. It didn’t even look like pork, and there was no meat just flour and breadcrumbs. It was really flat. It also came cold too. I also ordered jokbal but they were out so I just got the tonkatsu. First time trying this place out and I got the worst experience.

UPDATE: Unknowingly to us the restaurant has changed ownership and the Mongolian side is gone (former Yummy Thai chef and husband). The menu presents now mostly to Japanese and Chinese cuisine with some Thai. The Pad Kee Mao was extremely bland and had zero heat or sweetness to it and my girlfriend's green curry beef was thin like soup and was far spicier than it had any business being. Definitely think it's safe to say we are done with this restaurant. I'll start by saying the owners are great people. From the food to the service, each trip here has been very enjoyable and is quickly becoming our go-to spot for Thai and Korean food. So far, I've tried the Pad Kee Mow and Bulgogi along with a few appetizers, and each time was impressed by the taste and quality of ingredients. It's definitely a place to try out if you haven't already.

Arrived at 6:30 PM to get a quick bite before the Yes concert at the Riviera. Passed on the appetizers that the owner/waiter was strongly recommending and placed on entree orders. By 7:15 still waiting to be severed. Owner said food would be loin 3 minutes. Then quickly revised that to 5 to 10 minutes. Clearly he didn’t have what was going on in the kitchen. Facing the fact of wolfing do your food in order to make the 8 PM show we decided to leave. Done. Will never return. Location was excellent when Yummy Thai occupied the property.
