This is one of my favorite restaurants. The food and service are excellent. The remodeled terrace is elegant and has great natural light. I highly recommend going if you have never been and returning if it's been awhile.

Even though we arrived early for our reservation, we were seated immediately. The ambiance was upscale fine dining & the restaurant was busy. Our server (Danielle) was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful & efficient. In fact, all the staff we had interactions with were great. Water glasses were filled promptly, plates were cleared quickly. The appetizers arrived in short order. My wife's crab cake app looked inviting & she pronounced it the best she's ever had. Since she orders crab cakes everytime they're available, I consider her the expert. My duck rillets app was also tasty & satisfying. It was the first time I've had duck rillets, so I can confidently say (for what it's worth) it was the best I ever had. Entrées consisted of Chicken Franchise with hericots verts & parmesan risotto for my spouse, and Short ribs Bourguignon with Gruyere mashed potatoes for me. The Chicken was so tender it could be cut with a fork. The short ribs were so tender they fell apart when lifted with my fork. Throughly delicious! The food was certainly excellent but our sever, Danielle, was absolutely perfect.

Was a painting class so much fun. Food is usually better but the chicken was dry. Because I believe the class took to long and the timing was off.

As rated food/service/atmosphere is wonderful!!! My NY strip was to “die for” and everyone in our party enjoyed their meals. Don’t forget their dessert menu. It’s really GOOD

I have only been here 4 times so far but it has quickly become my favorite, the food has been consistently delicious and I live that their happy hour starts at 3pm

It was our first time here after hearing many great things. We weren't disappointed! The food was delicious and had great presentation. We started with the baked brie which was excellent. It wasn't bitter like other's I've had. For dinner I got the veal which was out of this world. I finished up with the 17 layer cake. I counted 18 but.. it's a chocolate lover's dream. We sat on the patio which is really well done. You feel like you're in a private little place, not right in the middle of downtown. The service was outstanding. Our server was friendly, attentive and most of all, nice. I highly recommend Webster's. You won't be disappointed!

**update 8/2025 Two ordered duck 2 ways, one had a tendon running thru it that needed to be picked around, for the price, that should not be an issue, we did mention. Overall great food, as with fine dining, prices are just not sustainable for more than the very special occasion, quality is usually never an issue at Websters, we know your prices have risen as well. For a special dinner, Webster's is a definite go for us. Pierce, server and busser David provided an excellent evening, thank you. ** update 1/2024 5 star food, 5 star atmosphere/decor, 5 star drink/wine menu, our server, who by the books did an excellent job, did not engage, they may be naturally shy, for us service needs to include some interest in us as diners. We had to volunteer our special occasion, our first visit we had a very engaging server, we actually took many of the recommendations offered by the server. I will request another server when we visit again. Websters is a special occasion spot for us, thank you for your consideration. October 2023 Having a favorite French bistro in New York City doesn't suit us very well living in Western New York. I'm not sure how this gem of a restaurant was under our radar. Beautiful decor wonderful staff and just the kind of fine quality dining that you expect at a French bistro, we will be back, thank you for such a phenomenal evening. The service was spectacular the food was memorable.

We loved everything about our visit to the Webster Bistro. Atmosphere was very romantic, music volume was appropriate, and the food was outstanding as was our server, Susan. We both enjoyed the Pheasant entree which was not only delicious and well prepared but well presented.

Webster's is always a delight! Cafe Le Monde meets Cheers in this quaint WNY restaurant. Be sure to start with the Pear Martini, crafted by Genius Joey, which pairs perfectly with the Boursin Pear Tart, which was extra delicious tonight. I tried the grilled bone in pork chop tonight, medium with the grilled asparagus, both of which had perfect flavors, but the Lobster Bucatini or Scallops is always a go-to if pork isn't your thing. The entire experience is made even more perfect with stellar staff like Susan, Jess, and others.

Service was AWESOME! Went here specifically for the escargot, which unfortunately, only tasted like lemon, but everything else was excellent. Enjoyed the martinis, my meal and dessert.

We stopped in on a Tuesday because we were shopping in the area and are so glad we did! The waitstaff was friendly and attentive, the ambiance was nice (maybe the music could be lowered), and the food was amazing! I had the duck two ways and it was gorgeous and perfectly cooked. He had the enormous pork chop, also cooked perfectly and juicy. Great cocktails and apps as well. Highly recommend.

It is always a pleasure to dine at Webster’s. The food is fabulous, the wait staff is attentive and the atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. We like eating in the terrace room which is bright and cheerful. The rack of lamb was perfect as well as the chicken francaise. The piece of coconut cake was an ample slice shared by 2 people. Cocktails are always special at Webster’s. Wine pours are generous and mixed cocktails are perfect. Can’t wait to visit again soon!

I had one of the best meals I’ve ever had at Webster’s Bistro & Bar! From the moment I walked in, the warm hospitality from Barb (the owner) and her incredible staff made the evening feel truly special. The service was outstanding, attentive, and welcoming in every way. The food was absolutely delicious. Every dish was perfect!!. The drinks were equally excellent. The highlight of the night for me, as a crème brûlée fan, was their piña colada crème brûlée special—it was off the charts and one of the most unique, memorable desserts I’ve ever had. Although I originally came here for business, this is the type of restaurant that keeps you coming back again and again. Webster’s Bistro & Bar is now at the top of my list, and I’ll be a fan favorite of this place for years to come. Huge thanks to the entire team for making the night unforgettable!

A great meal at the bar with all the Covid precautions in place. I had the Short Rib and Diane had Chicken Milanese. Both were excellent and the La Crema chardonnay paired well with both.

After eating the coquille St. Jacques, it is as if all other food I eat is comprised of sand and dirt. Nothing else compares. Nothing can release me from this prison but to be graced by the talents of the culinary staff once more.

Our server Amy was amazing! The atmosphere was absolutely perfect for a date night, especially in the patio- they heat it in the winter. Amazing salad, entrees, wine! 100% will be regular customers, they even have a rewards program. 🩵

Food is always delicious, and cooked to perfection. Even the plating is attractive! The restaurant decor is attractive, and a touch, elegant. Fresh flowers can be also found on the table. On Wine Wednesdays some wines are half the bottle price. I drink a lot of water, and the ladies and gentlemen are always quick to refill my goblet. The desserts are mouth-watering!

We love Webster’s. Food is always amazing. Halibut special was fabulous and the pear tarte is incredible. Staff is always so friendly.

We stopped in for a couple of cocktails near the end of happy hour. Stayed at the bar for Tuesdays dinner for two. Food was excellent. Bartenders Bubba and Brian provided great service.

We have been here a couple of times and both times the service and food have been really fantastic. Our server( I want to say her name was Grace) was attentive and personable throughout our meal. The food was absolutely delicious with one of the best porkchops I have ever had and the dessert is a decadent delight. I would wholeheartedly reccomend trying out Webster's for yourself, as I am sure you won't be disappointed.

We were looking for French Cuisine. I Googled it & Webster's was at the top of the list. Webster's didn't disappoint. The staff was very friendly & they understand the timing of a dining experience. Lots of interesting choices on the menu. I had a Beet salad & Chicken Crepes. My wife had Mussels. Everything was delicious! Our drinks were a great starter too while we were settling in. They have unique cocktails that were delicious & didn't empty your pocket book. I would highly recommend Webster's for a unique & delicious dining experience. Bon Appetit!

I went to Websters for the first time last night and it most certainly will not be the last! We had a wonderful night with amazing food! Our server, Grace, was fabulous and very personable! We got the cheese plate with marmalade for our appetizer and it was so fun to try different cheese combinations. We all tried different entrees and they were all amazing. For dessert we tried the crème brûlée and coconut cake and wow! They exceeded our expectations. From the amazing staff, great food, and nice atmosphere we cannot wait to go back!

Lovely French restaurant. I was taken here for my birthday this year. Wecwere served a nice crusty bread and butter to start. I had the seared scallops over squid ink risotto. With asparagus and butternut squash. My companion started with French onion soup and then ordered the filet. He had a choice of 3 sauces for the steak. For dessert I had a delicious creme puff and he He had a chocolate layer cake. Everything was very good and excellent service Their menu is always changing so you may not have these options available

This was our first time and it was fantastic! We ordered the pork belly as an appetizer, which was phenomenal. I had the pork chop for dinner and my husband had the strip steak. The pork chop was really good, it exceeded my expectations for sure. The portion was really large. One of the issues we had was that my husband’s steak was more well than he expected and it wasn’t seasoned well. However, they gave us a round of drinks on the house to compensate for that. The other thing I would say is that it did take a long time to get our food, and even several minutes to get a specials menu because they didn’t have enough to go around. The waitstaff service was still pretty great, especially with a manager taking our drinks off the bill so I’m still leaving a 5 star review. I’m sure we will be back at some point, it’s just a little pricey so that will be a factor as to when.

Wonderful first time experience at this local restaurant. First and foremost, the service was top notch and above other equivalent restaurants in the area. The appetizers were fantastic with the brie being our favorite. The mains, Filet and Pork chop, were cooked perfectly. The presentations of all the dishes were stunning. We had dinner on Valentine's Day and we both enjoyed our meals very much. My husband had the French onion soup and Prime Rib and I had the beet & lentil salad and Halibut with lobster sauce. Both were cooked perfectly and were very tasty. They also serve wonderful French baguette. Our server Brice was very nice and took good care of us. I highly recommend.

This is the second time in the past few lo then I’ve had Bryce as our waiter and he was wonderful, extremely nice attentive and helpful. Also, the second time the same bartender has been at this establishment and has been very kind and said good night to us. On our way out when we didn’t even stop at the bar what I’m saying is consistency is key. I love seeing familiar faces in A restaurant and everything was outstanding highly recommend

Friendly & attentive staff. Excellent drinks and food. Warm atmosphere. We celebrated my mother’s birthday. She was so happy that we chose Websters for the event. I was very happy with the duck, coconut cake dessert, and my espresso martini. The braised short ribs were a hit as well. My husband loved the pork belly appetizer. The staff was so friendly and my guests felt the enthusiasm. I cannot wait to come back!!

Chef Seths Presentation and preparation of the The Grilled Spanish Octopus is the best I ever had. The Tabouli with the Lemon Sumac vinaigrette accompanied the taste buds perfectly. It’s a must try. Would give more stars if I could. My boyfriend and I came here to try it out be because we hear such good things about it. The moment we walked in the door we were greeted by smiles and happy bar customers which is always a great sign. We ordered the fried goat cheese balls and escargot for appetizers and for dinner we shared the Chicken Frances and Two Way Duck. The duck was cooked to perfection and the goat cheese ball are by far the best I’ve found in Buffalo so far. The best part was the service from Bubba, he was so personable and really made our experience a memorable one. We sure will be back!

C'est Magnifique! Webster's Bistro & Bar is a charming French restaurant in North Tonawanda serving fabulous food and cocktails! We had a lovely evening celebrating a very special birthday. I was so thankful they honored my request to be sat in my favorite booth, especially on a busy Saturday evening. A complimentary birthday champagne toast was brought out to kick off our celebration! This was greatly appreciated! Everything we ordered was spectacular from the portobello mushroom stack to the crème brûlée, perfection! The service and atmosphere were equally impressive! I love the romantic ambiance resembling a French Bistro in Paris! I highly recommend making a reservation in advance. They do not offer valet parking, unfortunately, but there is a free parking lot out front if you are lucky enough to get a spot. Overall, it was a wonderful evening!

This was my first time at the restaurant and the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered an entree and dessert, and my scallops were cooked to perfection. The floorless chocolate torte was also extremely decadent. As a bonus, my friends were celebrating their anniversary and the waitresses brought over a toast for everyone which was a lovely touch.

The roasted Pepper soup was excellent, the wild caught halibut, probably was the best piece of halibut that I’ve ever had, and they had a good selection on the dessert menu. When you reach 200, you will receive a $10 credit towards your next visit. Shrimp cocktail (5pcs)-Nice sized seasoned shrimp, that comes with a tasty dip. The dip is like tartar sauce with a twist Surf and turf- Lobster was prepared wonderfully. As for the filet it could’ve used more seasoning to me. Scallops- To me it had a light sweet flavor, and I loved that. If it was seared a little longer, the entree would’ve been perfect. Beignets (5pcs)- Nice warm pieces coated with a nice amount of powered sugar. These Beignets are more dense than I’m use to though. I prefer the airy almost croissant style dough

I love the French ambiance this restaurant holds. This was back from March, celebrating St. Patty’s weekend and my birthday with some family! First time here, and I was very pleased with my selections. I’m the kind of person who reads a menu before going to a restaurant, because I’m a foodie🤤, that’ll never change 🤘🏼. I knew while looking at the menu ahead of time, I was really intrigued to try the Salmon Wellington. Growing up, I’ve always watched Hells Kitchen, so I was familiar with Beef Wellington and knew I wanted to try that..I also love Salmon, favorite fish hands down so the concept of a Salmon Wellington just instantly sounded delicious to me. I definitely made the right choice🙌🏼 The pastry was light, buttery, and complimented the salmon so well. It came with dill bechamel sauce, that I asked for extra of because it was that good. Just absolutely delectable 😍…this is how it’s posted on the menu: a delicious north atlantic salmon, puff pastry with mushroom duxelle, dill béchamel, roasted fingerling potato, haricots verts, carrots I also got French onion soup because how can you not. I loved that almost just as much as my Salmon dish. Cheese and onions are never a bad combination👌🏼 the key to my heart❤️ What’s also pictured is a Chicken Crepe that my aunt got. “ - chicken, asparagus, and gruyer, topped with arugula” she seemed to really enjoy it, but I did not try. Also the classic corned beef and cabbage, which mostly explains itself. I tried a bite and thought it was pretty good too! Not really my cup of tea, but still good!😅 Dessert was ordered, and all together it was a great night, and birthday weekend with family. Pictured for dessert is Nutella crepes,with strawberries. My only complaint with that is the strawberries weren’t very ripe yet, still a little hard but they put a candle in it for my birthday which makes it all better 🎂🥹 also pictured is coconut cake..that was delicious and very moist. Great restaurant and atmosphere, I would dine here again. The server we had was named Lily. She was super friendly, and made us feel welcomed, and comfortable.

The service is great. The food is in general great, but desserts fall a little flat. The atmosphere is generic French tchotchke. The customer vibe is casual upscale, with a gradient of dress leaning towards refined, but with some more casual attire present. Serving sizes are on the larger size, customary of American dining rather than smaller multi course dining. The food is well prepared and French inspired. The wine by the glass list is reliable but unadventurous. Largely high drinkability, medium to low body, but nothing you haven't had before.

Wonderful dinner again. Veal chop closer to medium than med-rare & slightly chewy. Asparagus was also underdone with a woody texture. Salmon Wellington.....delicious as well as escargot appetizer. Complimentary Champagne toast for our anniversary was a nice touch.

It was ok for Buffalo French food, but there definitely is a difference compared to French food from Montréal or Paris. Did not feel like it was worth $200 for two people.

Webster’s is in a great location and has a charming atmosphere. It has a large covered patio that’s nice in the warmer months. However, the last two times I’ve gone, the food was disappointing. The salmon Wellington tasted fishy and I’m pretty sure the fingerling potatoes it came with had freezer burn. The barley risotto was kinda gross - no other way to put it. For such a nice, expensive place, I’m surprised the food was so bad.
