A shout out to an outstanding server. Liz. This lady was awesome! She had no problem looking for ingredients above and beyond what I would expect anybody to do for my allergy. Totally outstanding As far as the food goes, it was excellent. Chicken parm I had was perfectly done. Not overcooked and breast was tender and tasty perfectly. Breaded and a generous portion of cheese over the entire thing. My dad had a pot roast when I asked them how the pot roast was. His response was" what pot roast" he loved it that much. He gulped it down. Not bad for a guy in his '80s. My mother had a turkey sandwich and she enjoyed. She went ahead differently but she has been entertaining guests all day and just the sandwich was more than enough for her. There's plenty of parking. Totally worth the trip for me and really close to my parents. So good job actually excellent job

I've been here many times for dinner and never disappointed. Food, service and atmosphere is always top notch. It was time to leave a review. This evening was busy and my husband and I were happy to have a drink and wait for a table. We were seated sooner than expected and received apologies for the wait from the bartender, the host and our waitress! Very impressive. I recognized Charley, our waitress ( I hope I got the spelling right), from previous visits and she is everything a waitress should be; cheeful, knowledgeable and attentive, which was greatly appreciated. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly and so very delicious as well as the liver and onions. Thank you for a lovely evening!! 😊

The food was great and came out very quickly. Our server was very friendly and attentive. I had the liver and onions and I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but I hadn't had it in a while. I was not disappointed. The portion sizes are very large and the prices are reasonable. Joey's Place is quickly becoming one of our go to places.

I have visited this little treasure many times. Usually for a drink and appetizer in which is always satisfying along with the conversation and all of the staff who are so friendly and kind. I have been recently there for Lunch on one occasion and dinner several times. It is Always a pleasurable experience. Excellent roast beef sandwiches, shrimp cocktail, crab cakes, and their soup is out of this world. I truly suggest you take a chance on this gem. You will not be disappointed..

We found this place through a random Google search, and we are so happy that we did! My sister and I had the best roast beef on weck that we have ever had! My niece had the chicken finger sub, and she thought it was really good. We are looking forward to going back on our next trip to Buffalo!

Stopped here the other day on a recommendation from some friends and online reviews. We are glad we did. Holly and Christine the bartenders were awesome and super friendly. The food was amazing and came out fast and hot. I got eings and a beef on weck and my girlfriend got the chicken parm. We will 100% be back here again and again for more drinks and food. We used to come here when it was mooneys and it looks so much cleaner now. Keep up the great job.

Amazing place, very great and friendly staff. Very clean and cozy. They had live music which was Soooo Lovely 😍 the foods were super delicious and good, we were passing to Canada and just stop there for a drink and we ended up ordering so many foods. The German potato salad and the sweet potato fries was super duper. Highly recommend it

Tried Joey's today for lunch, with my sister. I had the lunch lasagna and side salad, $17.99, which was good. My sister didn't like her penne pasta, as much. She had to ask for more sauce, but it was still one dimensional. They had other offerings that might be good to try if we go back.

I was close by. I was hungry. I wanted to give Joey’s a try. So, on a Thursday evening I ordered the lasagna; it was a pretty large piece and it was good. The sauce was pretty smooth. It was light-handed on the herbs and acid. The noodles were cooked well — not mushy. The petit bread roll served with the dish looked even smaller sitting next to the lasagna serving. The other dishes that passed my view on their way to other customers appeared to be generously populated as well. Enjoyed the meal.

The food was ok wasn't the best had open faced roast beef and fiance had steak sandwich. Both were nothing to praise about. The service was great as waitress was quick and friendly. The atmosphere of the place was i want to be fancy but im not ( Champagne on beer budget).

My mother went there by herself to get a fish fry, she was left waiting for 20 minutes before the waitress finally attended to her. While it was clear they were short staffed, the waitress didn't even acknowledge her and in fact attended to another table that sat down after my mother did. When the waitress finally took her order her tone was short and inhospitable. In addition to all of that my mother was told she would get a discount on her food for waiting so long but when we looked at the menu after the fact we saw she was charged the normal amount for her food which she didn't even enjoy. Terrible experience, it used to be her favorite place but not anymore. Will never return.

Let me start by saying I’ve been to Joeys probably 30 times in my life. 90% of the time I order the same thing, the pot roast. Well went Thursday night with my uncle and we both ordered the pot roast. Not sure if the server was new or not (never saw her there before) but never received a straw for our drinks or the dinner rolls you normally get, but whatever I can live without those things. But what really fried us, was when the meal came out. I wish I would have taken a pic of this meal they served us. It was literally half the size of the normal pot roast dinner. No lie this was legit a “kids meal” 4 cubes of pot roast, a scoop of mashed potatoes and 2 spoons of corn (was supposed to be vegetable per the menu). We both wondered if we accidentally got served a lunch portion instead of the dinner portion? Because we have never seen such a small serving at Joeys before. We literally both were done eating in 4 minutes it was so small. So the check comes and to our amazement that was the DINNER portion with the same price like usual. So with tip $64 and walked out of there still hungry, and had to put some pizza logs in the oven when I got home. For that kind of money you shouldn’t be walking out of there hungry afterward. Not sure if the chef screwed up, or if you’re cutting back on portion sizes, but something went wrong. If you want to comp our meals next time we are in, I’ll change the review to 5 stars; otherwise you’ve just lost 2 longtime customers.

We arrived at approximately 3:40pm. I checked the hours in the car and it said the kitchen is open till 11pm, perfect. We walk in and immediately hit the host stand with a sign that says to wait to be seated. Two people sitting at the bar with the bartender having a conversation with them, he looks up at us but doesn’t acknowledge us at all. Okay. Weird. We wait another minute and a girl walks up to the host stand to retrieve something then walks back to where she was sitting. Again, no acknowledgement. No “hi, be right with you!” Nothing. The bartender looked over at us repeatedly and there’s no question that we were waiting to be sat because of us waiting at the stand in plain view. My family gave us a glowing review for this place so we were excited to come. We will not be visiting again. To be ignored by TWO employees right at the door as we were waiting was so uncomfortable and I felt like we didn’t “belong”. For clarity: I gave the restaurant four stars because the vibe seemed so cool inside and we loved the decor.
