The food and service are excellent. A great Chinese food restaurant can be hard to come by in WNY these days, this is definitely one of them. This was my 3rd visit to Chan's Wok, and it was just as great as my prior two experiences. I ordered General Tso's Chicken, Beef Lo-Mein, Sweet and Sour Chicken and Crab Rangoon's. The Crab Ragoon's were nice and perfectly golden, yummy from the inside out. The Lo-Mein had plenty of beef strips throughout. All the food was absolutely perfect, no complaints. What's even better was the price. I paid $44 for everything, not expensive, as I was expecting. Good food normally can be expensive in WNY. Not only are the prices fair, but the food has been consistently fantastic every time.

We were an hour and a half late to pick up our food and they kept it on the warmers for us and gave us 2 free sodas.

The nicest staff ever! Food was ready exactly 10 minutes as stated! Restaurant was very clean:) We enjoyed our chicken lo mein and chicken broccoli with rice! If you are in Tonawanda and need to pick between chinese restaurants look no further! The service with a smile really is outstanding!

Only a ten minute wait when ordering over the phone. Great prices, great food. Not greasy, big portions! Open during the times I need. Have been the same family running it for the last 15+ years, same recipes. I always go for take out, as most people do here. There are a few tables but nothing to crazy as most of their business is take out. Best place to get Chinese within a 10 mile radius.

Food is fantastic and very friendly service. Recommend getting the chicken lo mein or the crab Rangoon.

My boyfriend just came home with some food for us. We've never ate from here before, and I'm particularly picky. I judge based off of the crag rangoons first followed by the rest. The presentation for the crab rangoons alone told me that they take pride in their product, I was not disappointed. Then I sipped on my taro milk tea, again I'm kind of picky so I wasn't sure... Amazing. Now for my entree, I got the orange chicken, PERFECTION heavy orange flavor with the perfect crispy outside. I might have a new favorite place!!

This is my favorite place to order! The food is always great with big portions too. Theyre open late too which is a plus with everything being closed (except fast-food) when I leave work.

I downed the general tsos so fast my partner was afraid for my health. The lo mein was absolute perfection in both flavor and noodle consistency. The donuts? The fact that 5 of them is less than $5 makes me feel like a criminal because they are absolutely the best I've ever had. They could raise their prices to $100/noodle or donut or piece of chicken and I'd go absolutely broke still trying to eat here. It's worth it. AND THE PRICES ARE ALSO LOWER THAN MOST PLACES I'VE TRIED I don't know how they do it but I am obsessed.

The food is really good and always ready fast. Only thing that could be better, is that it would really be helpful if they spoke at least a little English. Every time I go get my food I honestly have no idea what I even got until I pick it up..... spent literally like 10 minutes on the phone with this lady trying to sound out every word and just understand what she was asking/telling me.

A great option for quick takeout. Located conveniently near the 290 (Colvin exit, then turn right). Friendly staff and fresh ingredients. Good prices too. Lots of choices for around $6 for a small, which is still plenty of food! You have to ask for chopsticks if you want them. They don't use a lot of spice, even in the "red ink" choices, so you have to ask for them extra spicy. Not the most picturesque restaurant, but for takeout it's great.

The food was great. I ordered the chicken mei fun and general tso chicken and they were a reasonable price for the portion you get. Place is pretty clean too. The staff wasn't very cheery but were polite nonetheless.

Ordered a chicken with garlic sauce lunch special with no vegetables. Came with veggies anyway. I don't even know if the sauce is right since on the menu it says its spicy and this was not even remotely spicy and only had a hint of garlic. Egg role was fine, but I've had better. Overall more expensive and not as good as other Chinese take outs nearby.

Have ordered many times over the the years and food steadily declined ordered general tsos chicken sauce barely even covered chicken almost as if it was for something else and covered up and tasted like a shrimp seafood taste in sauce. Very dull quiet and miserable. Extra star for not dripping in grease though grease aint always a bad thing either

The pork fried rice came in one giant gelatinous brick that only broke up into mini gelatinous rice clumps and was extremely greasy and flavorless. The pork egg roll was definitely cooked in old oil that hasn't been changed for awhile. Some of the worst Chinese food I've ever had. I actually threw 3/4s of the meal in the garbage. Many better options in Buffalo area. Definitely would not order again.

Oh my god its been a while since I ordered from them want to say 5 months, and up till today there food was great. But it's a no go for this place for me for now on. I ordered boneless spare ribs w/ pork fried rice. Was terrible ribs was dry as hell and the rice, the pork in the rice smelled just terrible. This was so disappointing to me for the money I paid and just knowing a few months ago there food was fantastic. 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢

The food is barely edible. Sweet and sour chicken, more than half of the dish was just breading. No chicken at all. The general cho was extremely sweet, no spice at all. The chicken was so hard I couldn't barely get my fork into it. Even the egg rolls were off. They were a funky color on the inside and tasted sour. The entire meal went in the trash. Extremely disappointed. .

This was my all time favorite Chinese food. I am very disappointed to see that they changed how all the food is made. The lo mean was over cooked and mushy, the general Tao was all breading no chicken and way too big of pieces. Even the fried rice was different. New owners is one thing, but to completely change how all the food tastes makes it so I will not order from there again. Don’t fix things that aren’t broken.

Food just like any other place, I've eaten better. Hygene, not good. Walked in to the place and saw a lot of trash under tables. Disposable Forks and spoons are not covered. They had a fan, a fan which sends dust all over your food. And was able to look into the kitchen and saw the person who was going to cook my food playing with his phone and did not wash his hands.

This was my favorite Chinese restaurant in all Buffalo but I bought food yesterday and notice it was different and they told the previous owner retired (the one who cook amazingly) now first the prices now are higher, my favorite thing was the chicken wings now when you bite them the grease drips down your face, the previous owner make the rice light yellow like saffron color and well done now is dark can tell they added too much soy sauce, you can see the difference the previous owner was so much better now I have to find a new good Chinese restaurant were they make good food not to greasy and with flavor. I won't eat from them again
