The four of us enjoyed the food we ordered at your new Northbrook location on Willow Road…it was delicious and the portions were big! The ambience of the restaurant is cozy too. The best part of our meal was being served by beautiful Diana, who was kind, informative on the entrees and an efficient worker. Three great qualities we like in our servers…she’s definitely a five star employee ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We will be back to try your other entrees. Welcome to our neighborhood.

Had a great evening at Lazy Dog. Debbie was the sweetest server, very knowledgeable and just such a sweet lady. Would love to come back and have her as our server again. Cajun fries were 10/10 today, a must-try for sure! I personally love their coconut-lime diet coke. I’ve tried many things on the menu but the burgers are really are the best. Fun cocktails, beers, and of course, had to finish off with the open face apple huckleberry pie.

Outstanding new restaurant in Northbrook. Everything, from the service to the food, was on point. Jen, our waitress, couldn’t have been more friendly and attentive. The food came out hot and was very tasty - particularly the Mediterranean bowl which was fresh and flavorful. Also really liked the hummus and feta dip to start and huckleberry apple pie for dessert to top everything off. Prices were reasonable and atmosphere pleasant, a great place to chill and watch football on Sunday. Highly recommend!

We are here nearly every week because our dog asks to go, but really we go so frequently because the food and service is amazing. Carina was an awesome server. The Beer Club is a great value.

Was taken to seating with charging outlet so I could charge my phone. Grabbed a snack and was given water. Deviled eggs were awesome. Definitely cozy, clean, and had I been in a drinking mood appeared to have a great bar/menu. Server was very kind/pleasant and answered my questions

Great dinner with Robert as our server. Several dogs in the patio, awesome atmosphere and the fire was going on the terrance. New menu in a few days, looking forward to returning. Cowboy burger is definitely something to keep on the menu!

Came here for lunch and DID NOT disappoint. The country fried chicken salad was excellent (esp with the side of hot sauce). The burger was spot on. Had an Arnold Palmer to drink, but they have a great selection of tap brews. Notice the paw 🐾 print on the table. Apparently you can being your fuzzy friend with you while you dine! Overall, great dining experience.

Stopped by cause we were in the area for work! Lovely waitress & clean location inside/ out. Enjoyed the Firecracker Shrimp & a Prickly Pear Sloshie (half strength, I'm a lightweight lol). First timer & they surprised us with some free garlic parmesan chips!

Great local spot for a beer and whatever you're feeling for dinner. The menu is maybe a bit broad, but we enjoyed a variety of appetizers and mains. The beer is from an out-of-state craft brewery that's friends with the restaurant. Solid preparation; I wouldn't bother with blueberry IPA next time. Cozy and relatively quiet vs the crowds.

When he saw I was perplexed when my party ordered, he jumped right in "Molly I've got you. What don't you like, and do you have any allergies I should be aware of. That way, I'll pick your mean from start to finish, so just sit back and enjoy." Literally, Edwin went above and beyond for our party. Lazy Dog has got an amazing team they assembled at the Northbrook location. Enjoy your food without any worries.

I had no specific knowledge of this restaurant when we picked it on a whim before going to the Chicago Botanical Garden. We called ahead and made a reservation for 10 including 4 kiddos. They gave us a private room (which was really nice given the energy of the kids) and made it special for one or the kid's second birthday that we were celebrating together. Eli was a wonderful waiter! Couldn't recommend his service more - he was kind, silly, and patient with the kids and made great food recommendations. The firecracker shrimp are a must have. I loved the campfire pot roast. The birthday boy also got a treat which all the kids enjoyed sharing! Highly recommend for a family outing with kids. We will be back!

My husband and I had a great first visit to Lazy Dog last night! The service was top notch and totally made the experience. Steve, our server, was super kind and offered us a complimentary appetizer upon arrival. Our entrees were great, and after having a tough time picking a dessert option at the end, Steve ended up bringing BOTH the options we were deciding between. We were so grateful and will definitely be back soon!

I had such a great time at Lazy Dog! The food was flavorful, the atmosphere was comfortable, and everything came out just how we wanted. I also want to highlight our server Eli, who was attentive, kind, and on top of everything the whole time. Great service like that truly makes the visit.

I had an absolutely amazing time at Lazy Dog, and I can't thank the staff enough! Delicious food and nice atmosphere with a fireplace. Edell was wonderful. There was a rush during brunch and he really went above and beyond to make sure it was a nice experience down to every detail like packing the croutons and soup separately to go.

Eli was awesome. He was super friendly, checked on us without hovering, and actually seemed to enjoy taking care of his tables. His suggestions were spot-on, and he made the whole meal feel relaxed and easy. Definitely someone who makes Lazy Dog a great place to visit.

Had the most wonderful time on a girls night at Lazy Dog. Dana doted on our dog and went the extra mile to make our entire experience so enjoyable. We enjoyed a few appetizers on the patio all great recommendations from our server. Claire the manager even came over to greet us and meet our dog and gave us a free dog meal for our next visit. They really made us feel like we were part of the Lazy Dog Family. This is a must go for dog lovers and food lovers.

My husband and I were biking and decided to stop at Lazy Dog since we were dog sitting. I had been here before, but it was my husband’s first time—and he absolutely loved it! The food was amazing, and the customer service was outstanding. Dennis, the manager, was so sweet and attentive. He even treated us to a free appetizer and some delicious chilaquiles, which was such a thoughtful touch! I ordered the Pad Thai—it was packed with flavor, a huge portion, and I even had leftovers. My husband ordered the BBQ Bison Meatloaf and loved it so much he finished every bite. Our server was equally wonderful, very kind and attentive throughout the whole visit. Even our pup had a great time—he ordered the chicken and rice from the dog menu and devoured the chicken in no time! We had such a great experience and are already planning to come back soon—next time to try some of their drinks! Highly recommend Lazy Dog for great food, excellent service, and a fun, pet-friendly atmosphere.

I am very pleased with my few times visiting Lazy Dog restaurant. I tried carry out a few times and found the food to be very good. I ordered the campfire pot roast twice. Since I had a good experience with the takeout, I decided to go check out the inside with a friend that was visiting from out of town. We were just going for a drink so we sat at the bar. I found the bar to be very well designed, it's modern, but not out of place modern. It was very inviting. On top of a couple drinks, we ordered the pie tin nachos and tikka Masala meatballs. Both dishes were fantastic, but also very unique. The house sauces they make on both were different, but incredibly delicious. I think I'm more impressed with the variety of choices you're given here. They do a wonderful job of giving you choices, but also cooking them to perfection. All in all, I'm very pleased with Lazy Dog. I also want to mention the bartender, didn't catch her name, but she was phenomenal. She was not in our face yet she was very friendly, she was extremely attentive, and every single time my water was empty, she was on it. She was a younger red head in case management reads this. She's a keeper! I'll be back for sure.

We came here for dinner and we left extremely happy with the food and service, and the atmosphere is definitely confortable and clean. Being first time diners here, we were treated to a free app of house chips with different dipping sauces. The food here is quite tasty and full of variety. The meatloaf and burgers are quite tasty and the burger was fresh. Our server Steve was the best. Very kind and cheerful and full of recommendations off the menu. To our surprise, we were also given free dessert, such a surprise and treat! We will definitely be coming back to this restaurant location again.

Came here to say that this place is a great spot! I live in Glenview and love coming here to watch the game after those long work days. This place always has the popular games on at the bar. It’s a great place to go, grab a beer and eat a good meal. I have been here twice, both times i had the same bartender and Adele, the bartender, gives great service. He is just the friendliest guy and knows his sports!

Had a wonderful experience here tonight! We are visiting from MD and our server Gio made us feel right at home. He was friendly, engaging and provided excellent service. Our party ordered the burger, chicken tortilla soup and southern fried chicken salad. We got the cheddar biscuits to start. We all cleaned our plates and highly recommend. Gio you are awesome, keep up the stellar service and making us visitors feel welcomed!!

Megan was so awesome! We had a part of 22 and she was a champ! She split our bill and made it so easy for our ice skating team. The has the perfect table set for our reservation and our food all came out on time. Drinks were always filled and the kids were happy. All in all, a great place if you need a group outing. Eli gave great recommendations, knew the menu well, and made sure everything came out just the way we wanted. His upbeat attitude and professionalism really elevated the whole meal. It’s rare to find a server who strikes the perfect balance between personable and efficient, but Eli absolutely nailed it. If you’re visiting Lazy Dog in Chicago, ask for Eli. We randomly found this place, and boy oh boy are we glad we did. My 12 year old until today he was a plain burger kid. Tonight at Lazy Dog he ate a proper burger and LOVED IT. The food was amazing. The service TOP notch. I definitely definitely recommend this place. Can't wait until we visit again and try something new of the menu. Even the drinks were delicious. Thank you for a great family dinner. One happy and well fed woman. 🤩🤩🤩

The atmosphere, food, and customer service was phenomenal. Was my first time here and Steven MADE SURE I was satisfied and made sure I was well accommodated. The menu could be overwhelming but Steven broke it down and even recommended some of his favorites. Food was exceptionally delicious as well. I will DEFINITELY be returning and highly recommend this location. But if you want the best overall customer experience request Steven!

We had a great time at Lazy Dog. We really enjoyed the great lunch specials, delicious and affordable. I ordered the chicken club, tortilla soup, and fruit. The fruit was a massive slice of delicious, fresh watermelon. The Dr. Pepper with Huckleberry puree was AMAZING! The staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and kind. Debbie was our waitress and she was just a ball of sunshine. We also really loved that everything was dog themed. So cute! I'll definitely be attempting to come back. If I lived nearby I would be there all the time.

Not from the area and decided to eat here for dinner. Service was pretty good. Ordered a pb&j burger with bacon. Tasted pretty good but the peanut butter and jelly didnt add or take away from the flavor of the burger. The waiter also gave us a dish of Truffle Parmasen chips on the house. I also ordered a Huckleberry Mule. Overall good experience

Been here a few times. It’s always lovely. Luckily this time I got in around 5 for drinks and it was not as crowded and I could take some pictures. They have a good selection of drinks and appetizers. Overall the atmosphere is great and definitely nice place for a chill evening.

My recent visit to Lazy Dog in Northbrook was okay. We were the first table in the restaurant as we got there when they opened. They sat us in a back corner booth. We waited about 10min for a server to take our order even though there were a lot of staff present (like 15 people). They are newly opening so I’m sure they are still working out kinks. We ordered the wedge salad, fries, Caesar salad, and the walnut chicken salad sandwich. The food was decent, but nothing particularly memorable. The wedge salad and Caesar salad were fresh and the fires crispy. The walnut chicken salad sandwich was a bit better, with some nice textures, but overall, the meal didn’t stand out. One highlight is that they offer a variety of non-alcoholic drinks, which is always a plus. The atmosphere was nice, and the service was good, but I was expecting a bit more from the food. They have outdoor seating but we were told at 11:00a they didn’t have outdoor seating available. At 11:15a they sat a few tables outside. I would love to return later in the day and try the veggie burger or falafel bowl.

We’ve dined here a number of times. The place is beautiful. Great lighting. Great acoustics. Perfect balance of music and sport screens. Fantastic service with expert waitstaff. A seat by the fire hotel the right notes. Great selection of beer and wine. But here’s the thing - while the menu is extensive and the food is OK…it’s just missing something. The chicken pot pie looks great and has a nice consistency - it’s just lacking ANY real taste. The pot roast looks great but the meat is tough and stringy and it’s missing the required carrots and onions. The stir fry is OK but missing that classic Asian umami and spark. The burger is nothing special with little taste beyond the array of sauces provided. I want to love this place but the kitchen needs to slow down, narrow choices, focus on taste, pay attention, and serve the food hotter.

I think our server was having a bad day. Not very attentive and just about everything took a long time. She gave us a jug of water but only 2 glasses for a table of 4. We immediately asked for 2 more but after 15+ minutes we asked again. Soda was flat. We informed her of this but refill was the same. We ended up telling manager and he confirmed it was flat and they would fix. This was at the end of our meal. One burger came out rare when it should have been medium. Sent it back and received new burger when the other 3 was done with their dinners. In the end the manager comped us for the sodas and late burger so that was good. We may try again to see if it was just an off night. Place got busy so I assume this is normally a good restaurant. Food was good, bison burger had no taste. Stir fry and cheese burger was good.

The appetizers were the only good thing about this place, and my strawberry lemonade was decent. However, everything else was a huge disappointment. My Bison Burger had a burnt bun, and my boyfriend's Lunch Burger was clearly a frozen patty, not fresh as they claimed. The prices were far too high for the low quality of food we received. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant. The service was also slow, and the atmosphere was nothing special. It's a shame because we had heard good things, but our experience was definitely not worth the money.

70 dollars for one burger and fries. Very expensive. My burger was horrible. I got the lunch special. First it came out pink. Sent it back asked if it was frozen they said yes. It's a frozen burger for 12 bucks. Waitress explained it comes in frozen but then they cook it. That's how all frozen burgers are... Charged us for a salad when they asked what kind of soup of salad we wanted with it. So my gf thought it was part of it. We upgraded to the Cajon fries which was 2.50 more. Jumped the price from 20 dollars to 28...not coming back. Very welcoming and nice service, but the food is lacking and very expensive. The best thing we had were the sides. Fried deviled eggs are good and so were the lemon pepper tots.
