I am not a frequent McDonald's customer. However I know wherever in the United States, Europe and China in a pinch I can obtain consistent high quality food, prepared similarly in a clean pleasant environment at reasonable prices. I also enjoy the regional spins on the menu. In Italy a few years back I could not get a diet coke with ice. I got off a train between Florence and Rome and saw a McDonald's and knew my diet Coke with ice was waiting for me. Back in the day when my kids were young they enjoyed family outings to MickeyD's as they called it. Really a top notch company and part of the American fabric.

This is a McDonald's, so we all know how the food is. This location has been recently renovated and is very clean. However, the service is above par. I had placed an order for my daughter's school party. I had called a head because I was running late by the time I had gotten to McDonald's they had the order ready and off I went. But by the time I had dropped off the food, I had gotten a phone call. It was McDonald's manager asking if I had gotten all of the food because they believed that I didn't get all of the nuggets. It turned out that she was right. So I went back to get them and bring the nuggets back to the school. Not only did I get lookn ike a superhero for my daughter the first time, but I was able to drop more nuggets the second time. My daughter was so happy!! Thank you very much for your honesty and for making me a superhero twice in one day. Thank you, McDonald's manager.

Wonderful employees at the Northport location. I was planning a special surprise for some students in my school and it had to be during their lunch hour which was 10:30am - lunch usually isn’t ready until at least 11:00. I called and spoke with the manager and explained what I was doing and she and the staff went out of their way to prepare the burgers and fries so I could get them to the kids for their lunch time. And they also gave me a discount! They made some special kids very happy! So thankful!!

I ordered a raw burger but it was cooked.. Can you believe that?! Alright but seriously.. The actual sequence of events was opposite of my previous statement. Put the frozen imported meat on a hot thing long enough to make it not hazardous to consume. Pretty Pretty please?

I love this location. Orders are hot and correct using safety precautions. All McDonalds around seem to be out of cup trays which is very dangerous with hot coffee especially. I like the $3 breakfast and lunch bundles. I like the deal app as well.

Great fast food establishment. The quality and customer service is great. They go out of the way to make sure their customers are satisfied. I definitely look forward to visiting this location more frequently.

About a month ago, I had the help of a very nice young man who assisted me at the kiosk. His name was Zachary. I had forgotten my glasses, so I needed help seeing the screen. He had a lot of patience, as I had a big order and had to get back home to feed all 4 grandchildren under 10 yrs old. Thank you to this kind young man!

Thank you McDonalds in Northport for giving us delivery people to eat with the card. And the very correct marketing from the managers, they don't give us in Huntington because they have too much work, while every time we've been there they're constantly talking and have their cell phones in their hands or the manager is for the garbage in Huntington.

Love this location, I’m there almost everyday for my coffee and Christine is the absolute best, very sweet always says good morning and does it with a smile. I just wish they could train the staff how to make the iced coffees the right way, tired of getting crappy tasting iced coffee…

Love this location because it's close to home. If one uses the App one can get real good deals. On National Cheeseburger Day, one can get a senior coffee (with free refills), two apple pies, medium French fries and a double cheeseburger for 4 bucks. Use the App between 15 minute purchases to get the best deals. Staff at this location is awesome, bilingual, helps their eldest customers with care. Rachel that serves the dinning room absolutely rocks with a smile.

Went in for breakfast, no waiting, service is quick and food was hot and perfect. They made my coffee good according to my taste. This location is beautiful, nice and clean. Definitely will go back. Restrooms are clean too.

Food is always fresh and quickly prepared. I would recommend having your mobile order prepared before arriving though as the WiFi in the area is terrible.

Nice clean fast food place. The most amazing thing is that the food is brought to the table. Something that not many McDonald’s do. Instead some places make you wait for you to take your food to the table. I will definitely comeback since there are other places that I like to visit

The menu is not as good anymore to read as it use too. Food is not what it use to be. Service is fast though.

Always an easy go to. Pretty spotty on accuracy of orders. Becomes especially annoying when using Curbside or Drive Thru. Dislike that you can not use a deal on the mobile app ordering and also use points you have earned on the same mobile order.

Convenient for me. Bathroom middling clean, the rest clean. Generally very busy. Loitering, noisy seniors. Coffee tastes watered down. Prices lower than NYC but higher than central CT. Two televisions showing local news good. WiFi functioned well.

Rhis place was great during the pandemic but since restrictions have lightened up the food has not been as good. Not bad just not as warm and service is slower now. Not sure why

They give you a paper straw when you order 7 dollar medium shake. Just horrible trying to drink a shake with a paper straw. Straw failed within minutes.

Updating my previous review: It's McDonald's. You know what to expect and that's what you get. The McDonald's closer to us is being renovated, so we've been taking the drive here when a fast food craving hits. They're efficient and the drive through line moves quickly especially when you use the mobile app to order ahead. They've never made a mistake with our order. Definitely recommend if you want fast food.

The lady at the register asked me if I spoke Spanish because she couldn't understand my perfect native English, come on guys.

Consistently close early before listed times. Last time drive through was closed at 11:45 when 12pm is listed. WE ARE HUNGRY!

Depending on who’s working there & what time it is, you’ll get good service & hot food, or not such great service & barely even lukewarm food! I feel that even if I go there (or anywhere) not long before they’re closing, food should always still be made so that it’s fresh & hot! As i can always tell the difference when they’re reheating chicken that u then can’t even chew bc it’s so hard! Some employees there are so rude. More specifically the one I got when i called to check (just to be sure) what time they were open until on certain days. & not only was I was LIED TO that they were closed when they were definitely still opened for almost another hour, I was then HUNG UP ON SEVERAL TIMES by the same Hispanic woman when my sister & I called back!

The staff is all kids which I support greatly so 2 stars for that but wow they don't have it together and never have. They take longer then ordering from a restaurant no matter what time of day forget it if it's a busy time you'll get so aggravated if you don't have patience of a Saint

Typically not the go to location for me, but I tried this McDonalds yet again. The Chicken McNuggets are always terrible, dry, rubbery not crispy, not hot. And usually every visit here requires me having to go back to change a mistake they made. The only upside is the fries are usually pretty good here. Not a recommended location.

Drive-through food was mediocre at best...burgers were dry and poorly assembled. Our order was understandably slow because of heavy volume, but had NO ketchup and included only one napkin for two Big Mac meals. My wife and I had looked forward to our meal but ended up quite disappointed.

the food was as it usually is. And they did get my McDouble order correct. Which happens warily. I always ask for it without cheese and just catch up but I usually get cheese. And it's usually at the drive-up so I'm halfway home before I know that the order was wrong. That's not the point that Disturbed me so much today. When I went in the TV was turned to a spanish-language channel. There are two TVs and they will both turn to the same channel. I work outside and I was curious about the weather forecast. So I went up to the register and asked if one of the TVs could be changed to channel 12. I was told that they both had to be on the same station. Well I did not see any Spanish-speaking people in that area of the restaurant and halfway through my meal it was no one in that area except myself. I know the girl behind the register was asked by the manager if I was still there, because I saw her looking for me. But the channel was not changed anyway. I don't think it's fair that old TVs return to the same channel. I didn't want to make a big stink about it but I think that the manager should have replied to me since I asked about it and no one else seems to be watching it anyway. I frequent that McDonald's occasionally because I do gardening work up in Northport. But I will have second thoughts about it Since the manager could not seem to accommodate my request.

drive thru lines can get really long so you may want to consider running inside during peek hours. also, drivethru may be closed at 11:50pm just to give a heads up. bad for business when the manager looks at you and does nothing except continues to close registers and count money. got the deer in the headlights look lol

I am very disappointed with this door this is the third time that we have visited it since they remodeledTotally unprofessional you stand at the counter waiting for someone to come up it is hard to get anybody's attention back in the kitchen when you present them with a coupon and it says of equal or lesser value and you order something of a lesser value they want to give you a Big Mac or another quarter pounder besides waiting 15 minutes to get somebody to come and take my order it just is not worth it I will not be visiting the store in the future and I wouldn't suggest to my friends and family to use it either

We came here to order some meals and the drive thru guy was extremely upset that we changed our minds 2 seconds after saying no to any sauces…so much so that he let out an audible sigh that may as well have registered on the Richter scale. Food was hot, guy was not. Oh, and he never gave us the sauce.

There needs to be some sort of separation for the delivery drivers. On several occasions, I have placed an order and been completely unable to make it back to the counter to get my food because it was mobbed with drivers.

I've never been in a mcdonalds for so long in my entire life. It took 21 minutes to get one burger to my table... and there were people waiting longer than me. Two families left without getting their food. Idk how they can possibly be so backed up, it's almost 8pm and it's not that busy.

Someone needs to put breakfast in the register you can't just order the number 7 it has to be rung up and served wrong at least 12 times every time 🤔🤣

Like I often used to, I grabbed dinner here after work one day, and I put in a mobile order for a quarter pound hamburger. I do not like American Cheese whatsoever, and the quarter pound hamburger is a QPC without cheese (and it’s like $0.50 cheaper- check the website). Went through the drive thru, picked up my order, drove 5 minutes to my house, and I found that they had put cheese on my burger. So I drove back to the restaurant. (I’d say this is partly my fault for not checking before I pulled out of the restaurant- but not very much, because I do think the reasonable expectation is to... you know, receive what you ordered.) The next part of this is why I’m writing a 1 star review. I went in, admittedly pretty annoyed (but still polite), and told them they messed up my order. Immediately, one of the guys behind the counter interjected and said, “You’re the one with the mobile order, right? We make the order the way you order it, so if it’s wrong that’s not on us.” I proceeded to show him what I ordered, explained to him how his damn menu works and that it was, indeed, on them. He shrugged and walked away. My food got remade, and I was sent off with a ‘be sure to check it to make sure it’s right’. No apology through any of this of course. I’ve been working in customer service for nearly 6 years, and I work as hard as I can to be courteous to anyone I’m helping, along with anyone that helps me. I get that everyone has off days, but nothing about this experience was even close to acceptable. I tried filling out the survey that they beg you to fill out, but I never received any kind of follow up or apology- so I’m just going to plaster this all over the internet because this location deserves no better at this point. This wasn’t exactly an isolated incident either, so I’ve decided that I’m not coming back to this location (at least not any time soon). I just go to Wendy’s because they actually give a damn there- do yourself a favor and do the same.

This McDonalds will mess up your order EVERY SINGLE TIME. This is not an exaggeration. Every time I have gone to this place they have either messed up the entire order or messed up at least 1 or 2 items. Sometimes I go to this place only because its close to me but every time I do I regret it because every single time I have to go back in and tell them that they messed up my order and wait all over again. I know people make mistakes but I have never gone to a resturaunt that consistently messes up your order literally every single time I go there. This place sucks, nobody seems to know what they're doing and the parkinglot is always a crowded mess. Dont go here, its worth the extra gas and mileage to go to either another McDonalds or another fast food joint like Burger King or Taco Bell. I should note that this has been happening for years. Even when I was a kid and later a teenager I can remember getting home with the wrong food and my step father flipping out about tht and the fact that he had to drive all the way back to the resturaunt to get the right stuff. Its seriously ridiculous that this is still going on after all these years. Some of the employees are kind while others are either rude or hardly talk at all. No " Have a good day" or "Hi, how are you?" They say " Can I take your order?" and thats it. The rest of the transaction is silent then they give you the wrong food and just stare at you with a blank face saying nothing. The place looks nice, its in a nice area but the service is unbeleivably inconsistent and I doubt its getting better any time soon. Take my advice and dont bother going here unless you want a headache.

They’re always forgetting items or can’t get the orders right. They just gave my son a happy meal with no toy and gave me a Big Mac with mayonnaise instead of Mac sauce. DISGUSTING! If you can avoid this one and go somewhere else I would. I mean this literally happens all the time. Only go here if you really have no other choice.

Every time I order DoorDash/UberEats, there is always part of my order missing or I receive the wrong order!

Unfortunately this is the closest McDonald's to my house. And it's the worst. They either don't give you all of what you ordered, or they give you what you ordered, plus extra food of someone else's order. This happens at least 80 percent of the time.

Placed an order online and went to pick it up but they didn't have it. The counter person had no clue the online system wasn't working cause I guess the manager doesn't share any information withbthe workers. I could understand there's an issue with the online service but the manager offered absolutely no help or way to remedy the situation. She simply didn't care. Will not be coming back

I order 6 piece nuggets happy meal and I ask for fries instead of apple slices and they literally just put 7 single pieces of fries 🍟 and 2 empty fries box or little bag were they supposed to put the French fries inside my 6 year old daughter was so disappointing. I was half way home that's why i didn't go back. But they need to have a lil heart when they packing the food specialty when is for kids.

Went through the drive-thru messed up my order I had to go in TWICE to get the correct order.... How difficult is it to get chicken nuggets fries and a burger in a bag ? Apparently very difficult

So i went to this mcdonalds to pick up a quick dinner through the drive-thru. They asked me to pull up and wait for my food...after seeing two cars after me receive their food first I asked where mine was. The employee very nicely checked and unfortunately came out with the wrong order. It continued downhill from there. He went in to get the manager who couldn't be bothered coming out to talk to me. I went inside to see him frantically trying to get her to respond which she finally did when he comment I was in the building behind her. First she tried to insist it was ok because they had given me more food than I had ordered. It was still wrong and what if I was bringing this home to people with allergies. While she kept trying to convince me that this was ok I got to listen to another employee blame me and the others who got the wrong food for parking in the wrong spots. Absolutely nothing was done to resolve the fact I got the wrong order after waiting an extended period of time. So I got to go home with cold food.

Very disappointing experience. The manager claims to have no system to properly handle mistakes or issue refunds when orders are incorrect. Instead of resolving problems internally, they tell customers to dispute charges through their credit card companies. The app and management repeatedly mess up orders and then refuse to make things right. Terrible customer service all around.

Showed up around 10:40pm. Saw an employee outside and asked him if they were still open; he said yes. I walked inside and a woman (I think a manager) started yelling at me to leave because they’re closed. Walking out, I noticed the sign on the door saying open until 11pm. Which is it?

worst fast food company ever. went online, said store was open, used the app, it let me order. ordered during the snowstorm Saturday, saw how bad the weather was and tried to cancel the order after 3 minutes and was told i couldn't cancel because my food was being made already. drove to store to pick up food only to find the store had been closed all day. got in a car accident on way home. only response I got from the company was "don't worry, you get to keep your bonus points." that fixes everything

Three Spanish girls all chatty and not paying attention to the orders. I had to ask for another coffee three times and they finally listened and gave such an attitude and started to speak Spanish. They should be careful! I understand and speak Spanish even if I’m not Spanish decent. Rude indeed

Kids working in there don't care, not so fast food, glad I got some fries with my salt, my sprite tasted like soap, chicken deluxe sandwich was slapped / thrown together, you'd be better off cooking at home! Instead of remodeling the place they should have used the money to hire better staff. Don't get wrong this isn't the first time service has been terrible
