If you don’t like raw sushi, I highly recommend the 405 sushi roll—it’s amazing. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Hands down, the best sushi I can confidently recommend. 🍣
This was our first time here and we had such a great dining experience. The restaurant was very busy around lunch hour, but thankfully, they have numerous tables so we were seated promptly. They have a large sushi roll and bento box selection. We decided to go with bento boxes today and we were so glad we did. The chicken and steak teriyaki were flavorful without being overly sweet, the shrimp and vegetable tempura were perfectly battered and not too oily or heavy. Each meal set also comes with miso soup, salad and rice but I opted for double salad. The portion sizes were great and we were so full after. We definitely plan on coming back to try their sushi rolls which look amazing.
In case you want to know, this is my first time here and I just happened upon it during Happy Hour no less!! OMG, the food is fresh and delicious! During HH I ended up spending $29 before tax and tip. Here’s my order: 2 yuzu salmon ($2 total) 2 yuzu tuna ($2 total) Salmon skin roll (6 pcs; $4) Veggie roll (8 pcs; $4) Scream roll ($6) Dynamite roll ($5) House salad ($3) Small sake (3 for $1 each) I loved it all! Check out the pics because they don’t disappoint on presentation. Even though I don’t eat a lot of meat, I’m going to have to say that my favorite was the dynamite roll with the scallops and the sautéed onions and mushrooms, that roll was slamming!! House salad dressing is also delicious! I would put it on my veggie roll if I had more. This place is a must visit for my fellow foodes! At least the ones that like sushi!
So far so good....Could SFV be the new olace for ayce sushi? I know of a couple of spots around the valley and they all are pretty good with there own little surprises, but this place has a twist I did expect and will bring back freinds. Our waitress was very courteous and attentive, she bent a little bit, the service was fast, the atmosphere was great, just be hungry when you get there. The wait was a little long, but worth it. Good to know that there are 3 goto ayce sushi spots in SFV.
This is my favorite all you can eat sushi option in all of Los Angeles. The fish quality is amazing and the service is super fast. I also love that this place gives you 4 pieces instead of 8 pieces for premium rolls for the all you can eat so you can try more different sushi’s. This is a place I always wanna come back to and I would recommend to any sushi lover
This spot is amazing and I have never had a bad experience here. Servers are all nice and attentive and the sushi is top tier. They do not stuff you with rice and add a tiny piece of protein on top like other spots do. You really get great rice to protein ratios here. All the rolls and shareables are phenomenal. It gets busy and there is a wait to be seated, but it's worth it, and to me that is a great sign. Busy is good for restaurants. Sometimes the servers do get overwhelmed and forget a roll you ordered, but as soon as you bring it to their attention it's a very quick fix. Highly recommend eating here!
Always great sushi and service here! AYCE menu is priced right and has great variety. My go-to sushi spot every time <33
Everything is always at its best, with the highest quality and freshness! I used to go to Hikari, but since I injured my gum on a salmon bone left in the sushi, I haven't been going there. Since I discovered this gem, it's my first-to-go sushi place. Staff are very attentive and friendly. I love this place!
Make sure to check wait list and sign in if you need to. When they get busy, the wait can get pretty long. This is one of my favorites restaurants for all you can eat sushi options! The portions are smaller, which I like because I can try more food when I go. They give you 2 hours maximum, but they're super efficient, so that's plenty of time. The staff is always super attentive and friendly. The music was also pumping out bangers. Check this place out if you want a great all you can eat option!
My new favorite AYCE sushi place. It is a tiered menu, $42.99 for the regular and 47.99 for the premium. The extra $5.00 is worth going for the premium menu. They have an extensive menu of hot food, if sushi isn't your thing, the nigiri sushi uses just the right amount of rice. This place is definitely worth the price.
This is HANDS DOWN the best sushi restaurant in the San Fernando Valley. Nothing even comes close to this restaurant. The fish is the freshest I have had in the valley & so mouth wateringly delicious. It’s all you can eat, and the prices are outstanding. Like it’s so affordable and so fresh it shocks me every time I go. If there is a wait…. It’s SO WORTH it!! The inside of the restaurant is very clean and organized and the staff is very attentive and friendly. Whoever runs this restaurant knows what they are doing!!!
We go 1 or 2 times a month. One of the best places to dine for ayce sushi. This restaurant is very busy ensuring that the fish isn't just sitting around. Rolls and slice fish are unique and nicely displayed. The broiled mussels are so good and actually hot when served. Not everyone in your party has to do ayce. Their bento boxes are huge and every space is filled with a food item. Happy hour is awsome a pitcher of Sapporo is only 7 bucks. Lots of items to choose from for happy hour. 3 to 5pm m-f and 830 till close.
I find it extremely hard to believe I never reviewed this place. I think this is one of the best AYCE sushi places you can find. I swear I wrote a review for this chain before. I think this location is better than the Pasadena one. The menus are the same but I think the quality is better. Many times you should expect a wait so make reservations ahead of time if possible.
Always a pleasure to dine here! The sushi is consistently delicious and of excellent quality. The service is always top-notch—friendly and attentive. Today, we had Colin as our server, and he was fantastic. We've never been disappointed here! The server MIN was also fantastic!!!!
Really fresh and high quality sushi! Very prompt and courteous service with knowledgeable waiters. For lunch, if you’re one of the first 50 patrons it’s $28 per person for all you can eat. I think it’s the best price around for such good food, and nice atmosphere as well!
Pros Food was amazing. All you can eat at a good price. I believe the lunch price was 35.99. The mussels were really good and fish tasted good. Cons The staff is pretty friendly although hard to get their attention sometimes. One of the women’s bathroom stalls is super tiny and narrow.
I had a great experience here with surprisingly quick and attentive service. Our waiter was fast, efficient, and really on top of everything we needed without us having to ask. All of our sushi orders came out much quicker than expected, and the rest of the staff did a great job clearing the table and keeping everything tidy throughout the meal. The sushi itself was fresh and tasty. A few of the fish cuts were on the smaller side, but the flavor and overall quality still made the meal enjoyable. Overall, it was a really solid dining experience, and I’d definitely come back again.
My gf and I are so glad we found this spot. We found parking right in front and got sat at the bar right when we walked in. The staff is very friendly and attentive. My brother told us about this spot and it's definitely our new favorite! 🍣 🥰 The sushi was incredible!!
This is our family’s favorite place, and our friends love it too. We’ve been to many all-you-can-eat BBQ spots, and this one is truly the best in LA for both price and quality. The service is fast, and the food is so, so, so delicious. We always leave with our stomachs so full we can barely breathe 😹.
Had a great time during our lunch date/hangout at Aikan! Luckily we were early enough to get the new lunch promotion, $27 for the same level of service and quality is hard to find. Chill music and vibes, would definitely recommend to friends and family.
So worth the wait! We ordered and ate for 2 hours of sushi, teriyaki, seaweed salad, baked muscles!! We were so busy eating, I didn't get picture of the before....only whatbwas demolished when we were done.
All you can get premium a bit pricey but it is all you can eat so if you're a big eater definitely a bargain. Sushi was fresh and tasty, but they bring it out very quickly so don't put too many items on your first order, no time to eat it before the next set is at the table. Staff is great, friendly and prompt on your requests
I'll make this quick and simple because let's get ready to roll! Like sushi! 🤙🏽 Carpool if possible ✅ parking can be challenging. Plan your visit. ✅ They can be really busy. It's all you can eat after all. No wheelchair access. 👀 I didn't see any. Great sushi!!!! 🤩💯 It's all worth the wait! Last call is @9:30pm. ‼️so plan your order ahead of time. See pictures 😁🤙🏽 feel free to follow.

Wow! Surprisingly good. This was a good experience for a quick lunch break during Friday work. Located in a mall with convenient parking the fish proportions were very good. Plus nice and friendly service. What else can you ask for? Atmosphere a little bit lacking but this was not a dinner date but the lunch break.+ Fantastic high quality chopsticks I have not seen in any sushi restaurants +

Great tasting sushi. Quick, excellent service. Many rolls come in 4-6 pcs., that way you can try more! Floor space is really tight in here, there's random tables in the middle which suck and if you come with a big group, they'll seat you in the hallway head to the restrooms. One thing that irked me last night, was they have a special for Sapporo pint for a $1 if you follow them on IG. Well allegedly, they ran out but still had signs all over. Each pint is $6 and all glass bottles are $8, if you're out of Sapporo, why not honor the price and give a different brand?
My husband and I come here often because food is good considering it's all you can eat. Food comes out fairly quickly too even on busy nights. The only issue I had was they don't have a waiting space, which is fine on a regular day. However, it was really hot one day (105° at 5pm), and the host told us she hasnt texted us to come in yet and we can't wait inside (basically telling us to wait outside). It was a hot day and we had a toddler with us. We came back 25 mins after being quoted a wait of 20 to 30 mins. If it wasnt for a birthday we were celebrating, we would have left.
Good food. Portions were small so I felt like I could eat a lot and get my money's worth without feeling overly stuffed. The actual rolls were yummy. Would recommend. It was busy so plan for arriving earlier and having a slight wait.
For AYCE, this is a really good deal. We ordered mostly sushi as well as some appetizers. Our server Grace was awesome. Food came out fast and quality of food was superb. My favorites were the salmon, yuzu salmon, and the dynamite appetizer. I wish the salmon skin roll was crispier. Overall it was a great experience. Would recommend. Dined in with a party of 3 on a Saturday night. Have to go in person to get on the waitlist but our wait time was only about 1 hour.
So AYCE Sushi places are not exactly my jam....but some things about this place made me ponder that sentiment. On a Saturday night expect a wait to get in (No RESERVATIONS at this location) It was an about a 40 min wait. The service is a good as it can be at a very busy location. That said the staff was pleasant enough. So the reason for my usual disdain for AYCE joints is in my experience they usually make the rolls in huge portions so you won't get to sample the range of offerings because you get too full to go deep in the menu. This place makes the rolls pleasantly small so you can have the band-width to sample to your hearts delight. The sushi itself is pretty good. Nothing that will blow your mind but it seemed the quality and flavors were consistently good! The wait between reups on the orders was a bit laggy but expect that on busy evening rushes. The price of the premium dinner on a weekend was market level so you get what you pay for.
The sushi here is some of the best in the area — always fresh and absolutely delicious. The only downside is that the service can be a bit inconsistent. There are times when items we order don’t arrive, and we have to ask for or reorder them. That said, the quality of the food keeps me coming back. Just be prepared for occasional delays or mix-ups, but it’s well worth it for the excellent sushi.
Standard AYCE Japanese sushi spot. The nigiri sushi pieces were a bit on the thin side with standard portions of sushi rice. Most AYCE sushi spots tend to give you slightly larger pieces of fish with less rice so a little disappointing on that part. Rolls and baked dishes all come with quite a bit of sauce that’s on the saltier side. And while prices are a bit high, I guess that’s how much AYCE sushi is these days. Service is quite good and orders do come out quite quick.
Delicious, quick, conveniently located (for me). I came during lunchtime, and since it was past 12 PM, we barely managed to get a seat without a wait. The staff were friendly. Perhaps because it was crowded, it felt a bit noisy. The food I ordered came out quickly and was delicious.
This place was busy and fun. Ordered the all you can eat sushi(premium) every thing was pretty good. Service was really good. Seemed like everyone worked together. I was never without anything. Sorry for the dim photos, the lighting for photos wasn’t great. They were super busy when I got there. It was ALOT of sushi. Really good.
Very enjoyable but crowded all you can eat sushi bar. Very good service there, the people there really care about customer service. Food was delicious. A little noisy but still enjoyable. I'd go again.
Took my family for my sister's bday. Priced at $43 for regular, I think it's a decent deal for AYCE. Most of the rolls are relatively fresh and tasty incl my favorite salmon skin rolls. However, their spicy tuna crispy rice is the worst I ever had at any sushi joints that offer it. The service is quick and attentive, but make sure you get here within an hour of opening because the place fills up fast. The 2-hr eating window is generous and tons of variety to choose from. You can mix a la carte and AYCE in one table, but my recommendation is to get AYCE for all parties so you can mix and match.
Great spot for all you can eat sushi, all the options we chose, the fish was fresh, not fishy at all. The appetizers were great too, a bit on the room temperature side for the cooked items, but good overall. Everything we chose had good flavor. The waitress attending our table was attentive, and friendly. The only thing I can say that was a bit of an inconvenience was the wait to get seated, when there were tables, booths and seats at the bar available. We were told they were short staffed on waiters, which was understandable, we waited about 15 minutes to be seated though. Plaza has a lot of parking, but does get busy with all the stores and other restaurants around. Overall great spot, recommended it.
Great place! The servers were very attentive. There was such a wide variety of selection from the AYCE and all of it was well cooked, tasty, with proper texture and crunchy where it needed to be, none of it soggy, fresh made. You have 2 hours to finish and orders are not limited with the exception of needing to finish your each entree.

Good AYCE. Decent quality, ok rice to protein ratio, but for the price it is hard to complain. Portions are small, which is great when you’re trying different things. We like the shishito peppers, poke sushi, and yellowtail a lot. Their rolls with avocado are always good too. Service can be slow so make sure you order plenty on each round.

Fish not fresh. We talk to the manager to get a little better fish. My parents still got diarrhea after. We been waiting for 20min without any food during the 2-hour eating window. Food quality and taste are disappointed too… Edamame is ok, otherwise… not recommended
Pricey and the sushi rolls take very long because of how busy they are. The restaurant seems to skimp out on a whole roll because it's ayce. Some say it's value, but I would be willing to pay more for more food and actually feeling full when I leave. They are very strict on the 2 hour mark, which feels like should be a long time, but they take so long for the rolls that it really isn't. Overall meh

We sat down at 8:17 PM at Aikan Sushi Northridge (9034 Tama Ave, Northridge, CA 91324) and didn’t leave until 10:09 PM—and that’s with a party of two. The sushi was great, as always, which makes this even more infuriating, because after tonight we will never be coming back. Our waiter basically forgot we existed three different times. First, we had to chase him down just to place our first order—after he ignored us while we tried to order. Then he never brought the paper for our next round, leaving us just sitting there waiting. And when we were finally done and asked for the check, he STILL never came back. Our cards weren’t even picked up until we went to the hosts ourselves. Completely unacceptable. Ryan C, thank you for making it absolutely clear that our business is not valued here. Truly awful, careless service.
I was really disappointed with this all-you-can-eat sushi spot. The fish tasted old and had a strange smell—I honestly felt like I was going to throw up after a couple of bites. Sushi should be fresh, but this was the complete opposite. Definitely not worth the money, and I wouldn’t recommend this place if you care about quality or freshness.
I only gave one because there is no lesser than that. Firstly no clear instructions, rude attitude, very expensive for semi-fresh sushi, they didn’t give me all the first round food. It is a scam you can eat, not all you can eat.
I recently visited my favorite sushi spot, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Upon arrival with my friend, we were informed of a 20-minute wait and provided our contact number. Shortly after, another couple arrived. While waiting outside, we observed a staff member offering a heater to a nearby couple while seemingly overlooking and not asking us. Despite having arrived earlier, the other couple was seated before us. When we inquired, we were told that our name wasn't on the list, which was humiliating since there were people behind us in line and the host kept asking if we were sure that we put a number down. Eventually, the staff confirmed our earlier check-in and seated us. I understand mistakes can happen but as a person you should own up to it. Once seated, the service was horrible . Our food was placed on the table without care, and our waiter was inattentive, unlike the service provided to other tables. Us as customers had to be the ones to ask for a refill. Waiter only came to our table once which was to only order our food , other than that they never came back.Despite enjoying the food in the past, the poor customer service made us feel unwelcome, especially as the only Hispanics present. As a result, I don't plan to return.
Let's just say not impressed at all. For the starters, they have separate AYCE menu. They have separated certain plates for additional charge. Their standard price is not low at all, however they try to justify it by the label of premium. And then upcharge for the premium dishes. Turn around time Is slowvNo matter how busy it is or is not there. Makes me believe that they time the customers intentionally. Amount of food on each plate is half of everywhere else. This forces you to increase the number of orders which are served on big plates. Imagine amount of the room on a small table. Bottom line is they make it super inconvenient for you to get the value of the Money Paid. I personally am not going back.
