The restaurant is well-presented and well-decorated, pleasing to the eye. Obviously, it depends on personal taste, but given the theme expressed by the name, it seems like a thoughtful choice of furnishings. As for the food, the two pizzas and two beers were delicious; unfortunately, the desserts didn't live up to the savory offerings. The cannoli was too sweet, and the cheesecake was too stringy and lacking in flavor, not drowned in the toppings. The service was definitely the worst part of the evening. The staff were intrusive, sometimes interrupting conversations by compulsively asking if the evening was going well or if we wanted anything else. This behavior, in the long run, is irritating to the nervous system of anyone who wants to converse pleasantly with their significant other. Finally, the staff seemed to smile little, and, rather worryingly, the chef took his hat off while making pizzas and remained without it for hours, risking contaminating the food. Advice: go if you just want to eat; if you want to socialize, go elsewhere.

We've been frequenting Pizza Garage for many years and usually have never had any problems. The place is pleasant, the pizza is very good, and the other dishes are quite interesting. This time, however, it was a thoroughly disappointing experience. We booked for two and arrived promptly at 8:45 PM. The place was fairly crowded, but not overly so. The second room was completely empty; it was August, during the week. We waited 25 minutes to order, without even being able to drink anything. After a prompt and a polite complaint, we ordered a Gran Bufala pizza, a Pied de Poule, and meatballs. The pizza, which was really good (as usual), arrived in 5 minutes this time. For the rest, we had to wait another half hour. Then the appetizer and main course arrived together... disappointing. Not good. The meatballs weren't particularly good either. Then we ordered drinks again: we had to wait almost another half hour for a Coke. No one came to ask if we wanted anything else... Definitely inadequate service; not rude, but really, that's how they scare away customers. At first, we thought the problem was understaffing. However, as time went by, with the place almost empty, it became clear that it was simply negligence... On faith, after years of frequenting us, we'll return, but this time a yellow card is deserved... The impression is that the new staff are less competent and professional than the previous ones.

For the first time pizza was really tasty in there, I went there one more time and it wasn't same good, the pizza wasn't cooked enough. Will I go there one more time? Not sure.

I dined here on Monday evening with a colleague. We politely asked the manager if it was possible to have a small platter with only prosciutto and buffalo mozzarella, ingredients already on the menu. The response was irritated and unwelcoming. We were told the only option was the €20 platter, almost as if the request were out of place. The tone of voice left us confused and uncomfortable, even though we had politely asked for something completely normal. The pizza was excellent, but the manager's attitude detracted from the experience to the point that, despite the quality of the food, I don't think we'll return.

We returned to Pizza Garage in Novara for the second time, and unfortunately the problem recurred: absurd wait times and unprofessional service. We sat down at 7:30 PM in a practically empty restaurant. One of the girls at our table ordered a vegan Beyond sandwich (salad, ketchup, vegan burger, and onion rings). It arrived at 8:30 PM, and no salad at all. My calzone arrived at 8:40 PM, about ten minutes after the pizza of the friend next to me and another five minutes after the other girl's. Result: everyone ate alone so the food wouldn't get cold. Meanwhile, customers who arrived after us were served first. We had the distinct feeling of having been forgotten. We're talking about four dishes in an hour, with the restaurant empty: really difficult to justify. No one came to the table to apologize, no attention from the manager, no gesture to make up for the inconvenience. It's a shame, because the food wouldn't be bad, but such slow and disorganized service completely ruins the experience. After having the same problem twice in a row, it's clear the service isn't up to par.

I'm sorry to have to write this review... we recently ate there, we were a table of about 10 people. Disgraceful service... first a sandwich arrived, after about 20 minutes a pizza, after another 20 minutes the other pizzas, and finally one was missing... the waitress came to ask us which pizza was missing because they hadn't made it at all... other than that, the pizzas were TINY, they looked like baby pizzas... especially the one with the stuffed crust... I understand that the crust makes the pizza smaller, but making them so small... I'm sorry because I brought my family there, and I also made a terrible impression... even the waiters were whispering among themselves, about us, because we rightly complained several times... I'm sorry I didn't find a counter for the owner so I could report everything to him😅 Then I don't understand why... there was another table in front of us and they were bringing the pizzas, partly to us, partly to them, after really long intervals... since the pizzas should all arrive at a table at the same time, or at least at minimal distances, since everyone eats together... poor thing who had to wait for the others, he ate frozen pizza 😅 the only positive thing the beer was good. PRICE too expensive a pizza, a beer and a dessert EVERY 3 people €25 each...
