Was a nice find just a couple minutes walk from our hotel. Great variety of drinks, the fish tacos were really yummy & the dirty cherry drink was amazing! Large selection of beers Hubby had to have 2 flights! Then the home made pie….OMG it was sensational & made by the lady the owns the place! The 2 staff members behind the bar that night were great folks.

Harry the bar tender is the best! Great cocktails, good beer list and delicious food. Brooks is definitely our neighborhood eatery. Dogs allowed on patio in summer, too!

They had really good food. Our experience was great though the kids loved it too! We highly recommend!

Italian beef egg rolls and barbequed shrimp plates were delicious. Topper it off with a Maple bourbon coffee. Kids eat free on Sundays too! Wait staff was fantastic. We will be returning.

I hosted my sister’s baby shower at Brooks and had an amazing experience. Huge open room with the ability to fit a ton of guests- we had about 30 join us but could easily fit 50-60 in that back area. We had help from Anthony and Russell as our main servers, who were extremely attentive and hard working to make sure we had a great shower. Overall definitely would recommend. Food was delicious, the private space was super nice, and their staff was very easy and pleasant to work with. Loved our experience and thank again for helping us host a beautiful shower!

Brooks Kitchen and Tap far exceeded our expectations. I hosted a baby shower for 30 persons. Everything was incredible -the food and the service. We served Prime rib, chicken avocado sandwiches, and fish tacos, which were all fantastic! Both Anthony and Russell were incredible with the service they provided. They worked so hard helping to set everything up and serving the meals, the drinks, desserts. Top-notch all the way around. Make sure you add the mimosa bar to elevate the experience. It made a big difference.

I recently hosted my sons’ party here over the weekend (80 guests) and I couldn’t be more pleased with the entire experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff provided exceptional service and ensured that every detail was taken care of. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, exceeding our expectations. I would especially like to commend Jesse, Anthony, Natalie, and Skyler for their outstanding professionalism and attentiveness. They were friendly, efficient, and always willing to help with anything we needed, which made the event run smoothly and allowed us to truly enjoy the celebration. All of our guests had a wonderful time and shared positive feedback about both the venue and the quality of the service. It was a memorable day for our family, and I’m grateful to the entire team for making it so special. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to host an event. We were able to get a last-minute reservation for 25 people and the service was great from start to finish. Our food came out quickly, and everything was delicious. I hosted 50 guests for a Bridal Shower Brunch on March 2, 2025. My initial meeting with Jessie Brown ( manager) was Phenomenal! She was so helpful and provided me with detailed information to help me with the planning process. We initially wanted to to do a lunch from the catering options, but then asked if it was possible to put together a brunch instead (which wasn’t on the menu). Jessie was happy to speak with the chef and create he perfect menu per my requests.. I sent her so many changes through the planning process and she was ALWAYS so attentive and quick to help me with my requests. Jessie’s communication throughout the entire planning process was EXCELLENT. I also need to mention 2 absolutely wonderful servers yesterday. Anthony initially greeted me as I arrived to set up decorations. David then joined him & they unloaded my car, ( I had a trunk filled!) and immediately asked what was needed. They both assisted me in setting up the room, placing linens, rearranging tables , along with Jessie’s guidance. The room is very large and so nice and bright! With large windows and light filtering shades if needed. We had a fabulous Mimosa/Bellini bar to offer our guests, and both Anthony and David assisted with any other drink orders , adjusting music volume or special requests. Now.. the food! We had a brunch served buffet style with Fresh fruit, assorted rolls, the most delicious spinach and goat cheese quiche, along with mouth watering stuffed french toast served with syrup, fresh cream and berries. We also had mini chicken sandwiches with bacon and avocado that were AMAZING! My only regret is that I didn’t take photographs of entrees. My guests couldn’t stop raving about the food. Many had never been to Brooks Kitchen & Tap , but I feel like now they will be visiting often. Please don’t hesitate in booking a private party here. You will be more than Satisfied.

The patio was a great place to host a youth hockey team dinner on a beautiful night. There were outdoor games to occupy the kids and a great selection of beverages for the adults. The food was creative and delicious but also accommodating for younger kids who just wanted plain butter noodles as an option.

We already loved Brooks and go here every time I come into town. This last time it was for a baby shower we hosted at Brooks for about 35 people. The party room is a great size with plenty of room to set up tables and for everyone to socialize. Brooks event planners Megan & Jessie were superb throughout the process and made everything easy and stress free. We were able to get in early to set all the decor up and be ready for our guests. The menu included a salad, 3 lunch entree choices, a dessert, bubbly bar and lavender lemonade (they even set up a bowl of fresh lavender flowers to add to the lemonade- an amazing touch!). Brooks set everything up beautifully with a custom menu tied to our Bonjour Bebe theme. Our servers Anthony and David provided outstanding service, even better than I’ve had at some very high end restaurants. They were friendly, fast, efficient and accurate. They checked on us regularly and kept tables cleared and tidy. I was unsure with serving so many people how the service would flow and if the food would be as good and I had nothing to worry about. They were so organized and efficient and the food was amazing as always. There were several people who had never eaten there and all of them said they plan to come back including those who live far away said they want to come back with their family. When it came time to break all the decor down and clean up Anthony and the team went above and beyond again and were not only cleaning the tables but, helping us prep and pack up the decor definitely above and beyond! The icing on the cake was the value for what you get. I found the price for what we got and the service to be great. I highly recommend Brooks for every day meals but, also for any event. They made everyone feel special. Thank you to the entire Brooks staff that served us for a truly memorable experience!

My family and I go to Brook’s often for dinner and always love it so I decided to host my baby shower here and it was wonderful! It’s great that they have their own dedicated event space. The table/floor plan was already arranged when we arrived. The event coordinator Jesse was extremely helpful throughout the booking process and even printed out adorable menus for everyone’s seat The manager that day as well as wait staff Anthony and David were very attentive. Food was hot and fresh as always. We brought our own decor but it was great that we didn’t have to worry about tables, chairs, glasses etc!

Fantastic food. I had the portobello mushroom sandwich which was superb. Very tasty. My partner had chopped steak salad. Meat was great, salad was wonderful. A bit of an unexpected pleasure so close to home.

We were looking for a restaurant with outdoor seating and Brook’s has been on our list to try. The food was excellent and service was absolutely exceptional! The steak sandwich has a great piece of steak on it (some restaurants call an Italian beef sandwich a steak sandwich-not here! I wanted to mention that!). My sons both loved the brat and burger. They polished them off. We will be back again soon!

We had a fantastic experience at Brook’s Kitchen and Tap in Oakbrook! From start to finish, everything was spot on. Our server, Anthony, was excellent—friendly, attentive, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our visit. The highlight of the meal was hands-down the Italian Beef Egg Rolls. They were absolutely to die for—perfectly crispy and bursting with savory flavor. I’ve never tasted anything quite like them! We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in the area. Highly recommend checking out Brook’s Kitchen and Tap in Oakbrook—it’s a winner!

Met here to catch up with some friends and the atmosphere was perfect! We never felt rushed by anybody and the volume in the restaurant was just right where we could hear each other with no issues but weren't worried the whole restaurant could hear our conversations. The drinks were great! They had a nice variety, a little something for everyone. I had the Tuscan Garlic Cream Radiatori and am already planning on making the 45 minute drive out to get it again! Our server Zachary was one of the best servers I have had in a long time! He was funny, helpful, and patient when it took us a minute to actually look at the menu. He made sure our drinks were always full and continued to bring us water even after we had paid which to me is going beyond what he needed to do.

Fabulous! We had a work event here and it was great! Our server Abby was attentive and quick. The space was modern and spacious to fit our group and the food was delicious!

Brook’s did an amazing job with our company Christmas party. Jessica was so helpful in getting things set up and our waitstaff were from phenomenal.

It was my family's first time eating this restaurant and overall we had a good experience. The food was good and the restaurant was clean. I would just suggest like I would to any restaurant to make sure the servers have hand sanitizer in case they need to scratch or touch their face or hair since they are handling customer's food.

Threw a party there last night. Jesse was great to work with, so accommodating and made everything easy. Anthony was our server for the night and did fantastic. Food was quick and delicious, same as the drinks. We’ve been fans of Brooks for years but this was our first party. Would 100% recommend!

We had my daughter’s bridal shower today at Brooks kitchen and tap. The room so beautiful. Anthony and Abbey were our service and were excellent. Jessica brown who is the events manager was so easy to work with and made sure everything was perfect. Would definitely recommend having an event there!!

Hidden gem of Oak Brook Terrace! Servers are great. We’ve had Anthony multiple times and he is always so nice, professional, and attentive. Great specials and prices. Happy Hour cannot be missed. Brook’s is a great space, chill environment, great for drinks after work or a date night.

Great local place that is such a great patio and indoor space. Anthony was our server and he is so attentive and patient when I order slowly. Great food and games on all the time. Love this place.

Laid back pub with an elevated casual setting. Quasi industrial setting, not a strong theme. Immediate seating was a plus, though they had one large party wrapping up and were preparing for another. Happy Hour menu features several cocktails and apps to choose from. Menu is creative with the right balance of options without getting overwhelming. Food quality exceeds traditional bar fare, more creativity and attention to presentation, though the portion sizes are lacking. Service was extraordinarily fast. Meal came out very quickly. Server came back multiple times and drinks were never below half full. Prices are reasonable, especially for the flavor of the entrees. Seems to be a local favorite.

We stopped in for a quick bite and shared a flatbread and salad. Food was excellent and service was great. The background music was mostly excellent 80s at a nice volume. This was our first time here; we'll be back.

We have hosted two parties here in the past year. One was a grad party and the other a rehearsal dinner. The staff and manager are incredibly accommodating and the food was superb!!! Easy parking and nice atmosphere. For the rehearsal dinner Anthony went above and beyond as our server. We were completely happy with everything. Thank you so much!

Excellent food and super attentive service in a great atmosphere! The Italian beef egg rolls are delicious and the cheese curds are amazing too. The Big Dipper grilled cheese is great spin on a classic and consistently delicious. Honestly, none of their food has ever disappointed (though SERIOUSLY disappointed they got rid of their keto cauliflower bowl!) Drinks are always a great spin on classics as well. Patio in the summer is so nice. Highly recommend!

We had a baptism luncheon at Brooks Kitchen and the experience was nothing but amazing. The food, service, and drinks were great. Our server Antonio was great! Jessica was amazing to work with on getting our event setup. Jessica was easy to work with, replied back to emails quickly, attentive, and overall great!

Buddy and I tried this place tonight. He lives the burger and fries and I loved my chicken dish. Tried the fries as well and I agree with my buddy they they were amazing. Service was excellent as well and very attentive and quick. Would definitely come back!

My fiance and I went out for a nice evening date night and we decided to stop in for drinks and apps. The experience was delightful, the service was on point, our waiter was very attentive and enjoyable! The drinks were quite exquisite and poured just right, perfect alcohol to drink mix ratio! They have quite a few beers on tap so if you're a beer enthusiast it's worth a stop. The appetizers were decent, out of the three we tried the pretzel bites were the home runner I would highly reccomend! All in all this bar and grill is definitly worth a stop if you're looking for something to do on a Friday night, it won't break the wallet but it's not cheapest either, you get what you pay for🥇 Edit* Went for round 2 about a year later, the menu is still quite decent, the staff is curtious and quick on there feet. We went for a nice evening dinner and were sat outside, the scenery was tranquil and you can even observe an evening dance class through the studio windows. Will be dining again.

New Review: Came back to try again, drinks were great. The happy hour is one of the best around especially in the area. Margaritas are delicious and old fashion are very tasty. Try the appetizers, for the price they're very good. Way better service than last time. Suprised it isn't busy...but after first visit I could see why. Anthony our server was a good dude, Brooks should definitley hold onto him. Old review: A group of us came into your restaurant last Tuesday at 12 PM. There was 7 of us for lunch (3 of them from out of state). We scheduled for a quick lunch prior to filming for our company. They had 1 poor girl working by herself for the whole place. Why bother even opening? It took 15 minutes for us to get drinks (soft drinks, not even cocktails) and our lunch lasted 2 hours. We didn't walk out of there until 2 PM. This was not by choice, it was due to lack of urgency with the worker. I can't blame the girl, she was literally bussing tables, making drinks and running food but only had 4 tables total. We didn't place an order for food until about 30 or so minutes sitting down. By the time we left there was one table only and took almost an hour before we even got our food. The lack of urgency was mind blowing. I only am writing this review because I attempted to contact the establishment and left an email for the manager with no response. This lunch was brought up at a work event the other night about how it screwed up our filming schedule and how bad the service was. Told the manager to pull the cameras and watch the tapes. 2 hours for what should have been easily an hour lunch. Incredible that much time had to pass and even get refills was a nightmare, had 1 refill in the two hours we were there. I don't see how anyone could open a place with one worker to run the joint. I am curious to why I didn't receive an email back but that management blows. That wasn't a lack of a worker, it was poor decision making from the manager.

The food was solid. I enjoyed the pasta but needed more noodles to balance the sauce to chicken ratio. The fries were good. Italian beef egg rolls were popular at our table but just okay to me. The drinks were good. The service was good, as well.

Went here on a Friday evening at 7pm. The weather was perfect so we opted to eat outside. The patio is a very nice seating area. Your view is basically the apartment complex across the parking lot, inside the dance studio or the busy street. Not great options, but nonetheless, I enjoyed the experience. I ordered the Purple Smoke. If you don't like the taste of smoked foods, this isn't for you. There was a very strong smoky taste, but I was able to bear it. Unfortunately, my friend returned hers. She opted for a tequila sunrise instead. Our waiter, Jordan, was very helpful. He answered all of our questions, and when we asked what was good on the menu, his suggestions were spot on. The Italian beef egg rolls were great!...I would go back just for those. The southern jam burger was amazing! I've never had Jam on a burger, but it was sooooo good! The sweet jam and the savory burger/bacon. Chef's kiss! My friend got spinach artichoke dip and sliders. She said they were both really good. Now, my 1 complaint. I'm assuming this happens often because the area is close to residential housing, and none of the staff stopped it. A guy walked up with a big dog. There were so many empty tables but of course he sat directly next to our table. Animals, unless they are service animals, do not belong in restaurant spaces. And even then, there should be designated seating areas. My friend voiced her dislike, and the waiter suggested WE move 😤 😒. It made no sense for us to move because we were there 1st and already into our meals. My friend objected, and Jordan said that he'd ask the guy to move. I'm not sure what was said but the man did move to other seating. Problem solved. I hope the managers see this and praise Jordan for his outstanding customer service. I'll be back for those egg rolls before the summer is up!

We hosted a private rehearsal luncheon for our wedding. Jess was our main point of contact, and was great at communicating.We hand-picked our menu items, and she designed a menu that fit our wedding theme and colors. The staff that helped us the day of, Anthony and Abby, were wonderful. They were attentive, friendly, and kind. I would recommend Brook's for anyone looking to host a private event!

Our waiters didn't know much about menu, she was back and forth. Never comeback to refill our drinks.

The food was okay. We did a birthday celebration for my two sisters. I had the Baja tacos, and corn chowder. They were okay. Everyone loved the Brook's fries, Italian beef egg rolls, and the beef tenderloin.

Food was okay, service was horrible and slow. Had to ask for my beer 3x and still got the wrong one, kept it cause didn't want to wait another 30 minutes. Had the meatloaf, pretty good. Would've been nice if the rest of my group got theirs along with mine. Can't say I won't give it another chance, but not anytime soon.

Last Friday, my wife had a company party here, and she spoke highly of the place. We decided to take my family there on Wednesday to celebrate my youngest's birthday, expecting a delightful experience. First, the positives: The atmosphere was inviting, with a nice ambiance perfect for family gatherings and celebrations. Most of the food and drinks we ordered were quite good, living up to the reputation my wife had mentioned. However, our experience took a downturn with the shrimp salad. To our dismay, three of the shrimp were raw, which completely grossed out my wife, causing her to stop eating altogether. We sent the dish back, expecting at least an apology from the server or the manager. Unfortunately, neither took the time to come to our table or acknowledge the mistake. Having worked in restaurants during my college years, I understand that such situations can occur. The critical aspect is how the restaurant addresses and resolves these issues. Sadly, on this occasion, Brook's Kitchen failed to handle it appropriately, leaving us as disappointed customers. I hope this review helps others avoid similar experiences. While the restaurant has potential, their response to mistakes needs significant improvement. BTW, not my intent to get anyone in trouble. Just an experience I wanted to share.

I’ve seen this place for years whenever I get my hair done next door. Today I decided to order a pick up. Pulled up menu online and I called while my highlights were sitting. Got my son a kids meal and myself a vegetarian burger with fries. I wanted to get the truffle fries instead of regular fries. The gentleman said it would be $3 extra. I questioned this as the menu said regular fries were $6 and truffle fries were $7 so I’ve would think just $1 difference. The guy taking order said I could ask the manager reasoning behind price difference so I said sure I would speak with her. He then came back on phone and said he couldn’t find her. I said it was ok I would just ask when I was there for pick up. Fast forward to me picking up. When I got inside I waited about 5 min to be addressed by host stand. Gave him my name and he said oh yes let me get manager. I waited. While waiting I looked over their menu and saw items that were not listed on online menu. I then ordered additional items (asparagus and pineapple crème brûlée). The manager finally comes over. I was told the regular fries as a stand alone order were $5 and truffle as stand alone were $7 and that the online menu is wrong. She said the side of fries with burger is smaller portion of fries but they use the same amount of truffle powder (that’s odd, because half the fries would make double the ratio of powder to fries and would probably be extremely over powering I thought to myself) She proceeded to tell me the website online is wrong. That there are a few websites that she has asked Google to take down because menu changed. Hmm… ok. I proceeded to tell her I would just take the regular fries then ( I couldn’t justify to myself paying $3 extra dollars for a smaller portion of fries according to her with the powder, especially when the actual regular order is $5 and the truffle fries are $7 which is only a $2 difference 😳 according to the updated menu) Well she then grabbed my food off counter (I didn’t realize it was sitting there) said she would go dump it and be right back. I proceeded to pay for my pickup order and left a tip. My low rating is for the customer service, the fact the listed prices don’t match, the fact she seemed irritated I was using the wrong website (not sure how that is my fault) and that for a smaller portion which was her words was costing more than even her own menu said. Again on website $6 for regular $7 for truffle On paper menu in restaurant $5 for regular $7 for truffle But for me it was a $3 up charge for truffle powder and the regular was free with my burger. All for a smaller portion too. Needless to say I was disappointed with the overall experience. And in a side note…. The pineapple crème brûlée was frozen ice crystals on inside. The rest of food was good. I’ve attached photos with this review.
