Freakin Yummy Yummy in my tummy ! Excellent dumplings with pretty wide variety. Dishes good too with a flare for the authentic. Compared to places in the heart of flushing, this is only missing one thing - the filth ! It is very clean with an open kitchen. You know it's good because locals flock to this eatery. Quick service. But beware - CASH ONLY (atm next door).

A friend recommended Little Dumplings in Bayside. The dumplings was delicious (tried both pork and chicken pan fried). The shrimp lo mein, beef fried rice and chicken fried rice were also tasty. Favorite was the dumplings. The restaurant only accept cash!!! Overall good experience 👍.

Dumplings are just delicious no complaints. Food was good, good portions recommend the lamb Dumplings and lamb cummin with leak it just great not too spicy.

It's a casual Chinese restaurant that also serves Taiwanese specialties. Service was quick and good. Place is really clean. Shrimp with walnuts and broccoli is delicious. Soup dumplings are good as well.

Great dumplings. I always get the steamed pork soup dumplings with crab and it really hits the spot.

I've only ordered online and, based on the food alone, they should be rated so much higher. I don't understand haha. I usually don't try restaurants rated under 4.5 so I'm glad I did. We had pan fried pork buns, shrimp shumai, truffle soup dumplings, cumin beef, and sesame shrimp. I'm still drooling over the food we had last night. I literally can't wait to get home and eat leftovers! Definitely planning to visit in person.

Enter through the free parking lot in the back. A cozy, small place, with friendly service and excellent food. Great soup dumplings, amazing scallion pancakes, delicious assortment of dumplings and every dish is generous, served hot and I haven't had a thing I didn't love. Try the snow pea leaves, bright green, crunchy like the best broccoli or spinach dish. Love this place!!

Great food. Fairly priced. The first time I ever heard of Little Dumpling was the location on Northern Blvd close to Little Neck. I came across this one which is much closer to my house and has a parking lot which is a plus and said I'm definitely gonna come in here one day to try it out and see if it's as good as the first one I went to. Came in and saw all the signs that said CASH ONLY so this place is obviously a cash only. Don't remember if the Northern Blvd location is like this cause I paid in cash the last time. However aside from that, I came in and was promptly seated. Looked over the menu and waiting a bit for the server to come take my order. I literally had to like raise my hand to say my party was ready to order and I hate doing that. I think some Asian restaurants actually have them do that cause they don't know if you're ready or not. Anyways, not a biggie. We ordered and literally 8 minutes went buy and the food was ready. The soup dumplings came after 10 minutes cause they're made to order and I can't complain about this place. Just like the first location I went to. The food is good and it's priced fairly decent. If you go here, please bring cash. They have an in-store ATM but depending on what financial institution you have, they would charge you a fee! Just saying!

Their soup dumplings are delicious and it seems like their a little bigger than most places I've been to. We also had their veggie dumplings and stir fried rice cakes. Another time we had their beef chow fun. Very tasty!

The only bad thing I can say about Little Dumpling is that they take only cash. Sorry, but in 2018, you have to take credit/debit cards. For that, I take 1 star away. Other than that, their food is absolutely wonderful! It is super fresh, tasty, and I am satisfied. Despite being forced to pay cash I leave satisfied. The soup dumplings are insanely delicious! To us, this place tasted average for it's price.. But it's good Chinese food though.. Kept us coming back occasionally. More recently, since the Pandemic, idk what they have done. But the quality of even their soy sauce is great...now fresh.. they have improved in the quality of their food and service since adding themselves to a couple more delivery apps... Maybe they took advantage of the lockdown to improve their business... Idk.. Had the Scallion Pancakes Shrimp w. Broccoli (they cleaned it) Lamb dumplings- pan-fried It's not out of this world for their price, But whatever they've done, the quality has definitely improved and has us returning a little more than usual. Hopefully they can stay consistent. 😃

First time dining in at this restaurant since Covid... really missed the food it was excellent. We visited late on Saturday around 7:45 PM and were the only customers there. We all ordered the scallion pancakes, soup dumplings, rice cakes and fried flounder with vegetables and oyster sauce. Everything was delicious.

Love this place!! Always great! The pork soup dumplings are the best! Also, try the beef with chili and peanut sauce, won’t disappoint :) They also have their own parking. Enjoy :))

Quick meal . Ok dishes for the price . Soup dumpling was more Chinese style . Thicker than Taiwanese style . Fish is too sticky from the starch . But , the taste is ordinary as expected, not bad. Wined chicken tasted yummy. But , who put Chinese cilantro on top of the wined chicken. . The garnish and the chicken did not go well. The cold beef slice salad ( couple beef ) look like slice but the beef slice was too chunky 😀 I guess it was good that they did give you solid meat .

Little Dumplings Bayside is one of two locations. This was my first time here and I must say, this was yummy. I ordered a ton of soup dumplings and I'm sorry, I was way too hungry to take a picture. They were all amazing and the soup was really good. I love dumplings when it's thin and moist and this most definitely was. I spent a pretty penny here so keep in mind if you're paying cash it's as is and if you're paying by card then it's a 3% charge.

Great spot. Shanghai spicy dumplings are great. Beef and scallion pancake was one of the best I've had in years. Only thing I want crazy about from my order was the pork bun order---as they come out dumpling style and were very thick/doughy. The general tso chicken was also great. Actually spicy and the sauce was good and not like the terrible fake syrup stuff slathered on at some places.

This is the second location which is not that far from the original on Northern Boulevard in Little Neck. This one is nicer because it is bigger, easier to see right off of the East bound side of the Long Island Expressway, and plenty of parking. Same great menu. Pork Soup Dumplings are a must. Also spicy beef noodle soup is good. We will definitely be going back. The Staff is very friendly. CASH ONLY!!! Great additions to the menu. Never had a bad meal here.. Thank you to the owner for responding. You have a great and unique business. We look forward to patronizing your establishment again soon. ESJ

Food is good, the soup dumplings are a stable. We ordered a bunch other dishes including this sweet and sour fish, which turns out to be pretty great also (being that it's such an easy dish to mess up). It is most important to note that their service here is excellent - friendly attitude, fast service and attentive serving. Would recommend this place.

Mmmmm, soup dumplings! My nephew and I popped in for take out after discovering its existence. Only 10-15 minutes wait for some appetizers. Great food, really good menu FYI it isCASH ONLY.

I've been to both locations...we had five share dishes and two soup dumplings.. found them a bit lacking in soup liquid and the skin was kinda tough...not as tender as I'm used to....it was also odd that on sat nite, we felt rushed out at 830....all in all...it was soso...I think the other location on northern blvd has better svce and is wider space wise

Neighborhood gem! Beautifully prepared food at very affordable prices. The dumplings are superb and the scallion pancakes are nice and crisp. Sesame chicken is delicious. Very highly recommended. They also deliver.

This is the new second location and I like it more than the original on Northern Boulevard. Parking out back in the lot is free but can fill up quickly but there's metered parking out front or free parking in the residential areas. Possibly because this place is still fairly new, service has been spot on and the food better than the other location. The meat and potatoes here is their soup dumplings and they're better here. There's actually soup in it! I've always had a subpar experience at their Northern Boulevard location where their soup dumplings weren't juicy and was just meh. Most important thing, this is a cash only establishment. If you forget, there's a Chase bank a couple of doors over.

Likes: - Food was very good. - There is a parking lot (tho, full alot). - Family atmosphere. Dislikes: - Cash ONLY, NO credit cards. (Inconvenient as a family of 5 meal can be over $150 with tip, who carrys cash?) - Part of the food prep area is open to the public as they back and forth to the bathroom. - CASH ONLY, NO CREDIT CARDS (Pay your taxes restaurant owner)

This places is really a gem. The food is really good! The staff is also very friendly the only issue I had is that I felt kind of rushed. Now the place was empty so I didn’t see the need for it.

This place is pretty good, not the best soup dumplings I've ever had but food comes out quickly. It's an authentic place and I would definitely try the things you can't pronounce at a place like this.

Food was excellent. Drunken Chicken is probably one of the best I have had. And the dumplings are good. I also ordered the soy milk, very tasty. I loved it very much. The only thing I didn't like (and that's why I gave it a 4 stars) was the water spinach dish. It was way too greasy. All I could taste was oil.

Came here quite often before Covid. Dumplings taste better now than before, especially the crab dumplings. The other food we ordered was ok, not good, but not bad. Some things we use to order are no longer on the menu. Understandable, until they are back to full capacity. Service was great as usual. This review pretty much can be said about all restaurants right now.

This is one of my favorite soup dumpling spot in Queens. I would recommend thepork soup dumplings and beef with string beans and the beef fried rice. Also loved the scallion pancakes.The sevice is pretty fast and prices are reasonable. It is a go-to spot for quick lunch or dinner.

A colleague of mine says that the soup dumplings from this place are not very good at all. I can't back her up on her claims because I just like their pan fried dumplings - and I think they're really good. The restaurant itself is small. At first I thought it was maybe a Korean-ran Chinese restaurant, because there are so many Korean restaurants nearby. But it's a Chinese restaurant of its own. It's a bit more upscale than your run of the mill Chinese place around the corner from you. I mean this in terms of the menu and how the food is prepared. Everything seems to be made from scratch. While this might seem standard for most restaurants, there's just something about the food that makes it feel as though they started to cook it after you ordered it - whereas some places it doesn't always quite seem so fresh. The decor of the restaurant is very nice as well. Solid, sturdy tables and good chairs, but it's got an open space set-up that lends itself to less privacy - if you're looking for that. Also during a busy evening, you might be sitting right next to someone not in your party. Parking is plentiful in the back, but there are so many restaurants here now that it's often hard to find a spot in the back lot. But there's usually plenty of parking in the neighborhood. Service is typical of this type of restaurant. You're not here for great service, you're here for the food. So don't be put off if the service isn't first class, it's just how it is - which is mildly attentive to your needs but not overly accommodating. The menu itself is fairly extensive and there are plenty of choices outside dumplings. In Chinese restaurants I always feel other people know the menu better than me and I can't find the things I see other people eating on the menu. But this is my shortcoming, not the restaurant's. It is not cheap nor is it very expensive. They have angus beef dumplings but I honestly cannot tell it apart, taste wise, from a pork dumpling. Overall it's a good place with a reliable consistency of food, an ambience suitable for medium sized parties where you can feel comfortable having a loud conversation, and decent service.

Food was good. But they take cash only. So make sure you bring cash with you before coming to this restaurant.

This restaurant serves Shanghainese food and Taiwanese food. It's a bit confusing, but the food is pretty good. We ordered Steamed Pork Soup Dumplings (one was sadly broken when served), Shredded Beef w. Hot Pepper in Brown Sauce, Salt and Pepper Pork Chop, Shredded Pork in Peking Sauce (very saucey, wrap not pictured), Spicy Beef Noodle Soup (you can ask for not spicy), Seafood Crispy Pan-Fried Noodle (my fave), Jumbo Shrimp with Walnut and Mayo (a little sweeter), and Pork Meatball in Brown Sauce (not pictured). There is a free parking lot located at the back of the restaurant which is convenient.

I will give this place a 4.5 because of the food. The food here is quite delicious. However, every once in a while, it will taste funny. This could be because it is overcooked or too much seasoning or some other reasons. Other than that, there isn't any issue. The restaurant is small, so you may need to wait. Although, I had not had that issue, yet. The servers frequently check in on every table. Not only that, but the foods come out at a reasonable pace, so there is not a long wait. The servers are all polite and patient, I never had any issue with any of them in all of my times here.

Had takeout today and picked up my order in less than 10 minutes. Also sat down for dinner with my wife when they first opened. It was pretty busy, but we didn't have to wait too long to be seated and were served. The soup dumplings are okay, but wished they had more soup in them. They accepted credit cards but you will pay a surcharge when using it.

Food came very quickly, the tables are spaced out very well, making it comfortable for customers. Only downside is that they are supposed to check for vaccination status, however, it does not seem like the hosts/hostesses have set that as a priority. Great food, ordered the scallion pancakes, pan fried noodles with beef, and soup dumplings.

Service it's ok, menu it's has very good design and pictures so you can actually see how the food looks like. Place has good decoration that goes alone with the name and the time of food they serve. Place it's clean and neat. Tables have enough space for all food you can order. Prices are amazing.

Quick review. Convenient access right off the LIE with parking lot. The food is essentially the same as the little neck location. Slightly smaller space which I think helps the service level. Has the pork soup dumplings - very good, maybe a touch thicker skin than I'd like. Pan fried noodles with beef was on point, as usual. Tried the pan fried pork buns for the first time. Found out it's not actually roast pork buns that are pan fried. My mistake. They're just basically normal pork dumplings with a thicker wrapper that's been fried on the bottom. Anyway good to get your XLB fix.

There's a huge Asian population in this neighborhood but not enough good Chinese restaurant. This is probably one of the best one around. I would say it deserves 4 stars also has parking available at the back. However, I can only give 3 stars because it's not far from Flushing which has much better xiao long bao restaurants.

Food below average. Shanghai noodle was salty and too many broken strands. Red bean paste desert not good. Dumplings were okay

Tasty. But it's tasty regular Chinese takeout.. It's a bit pricey for regular chinese food. Will go back, but want to try the soup.

Mixed feelings. Wonton soup was sad, dumplings good, spicy beef with broccoli was excellent. Staff's desire to please, lukewarm. Very busy location, bad parking lot. Despite the negatives, because of the deliciousness of the bed with broccoli, I will visit again to try more dishes.

Compared to Northern Blvd location, food is average overall. Service just barely meet basics & not friendly, impression counts as it's our visit for a late lunch. Place is not busy with a handful of customer. Ordered from lunch menu & waitress didn't bother to clearly explain our soup option - just mentioned hot & sour soup only. DW asked about wonton soup & told us that's for "lofan" only, really - prices are above average & not competitve and not a good value. Soup dumplings (order of 6) is fine, good but nothing to write about. Very unlikely to come back & our friends in the neighborhood already caution us - should've listen & gone elsewhere.

I think this place is better than the Littlebeck location. It's got many of the Shanghai stsples. The food is not terrific and service is shoddy. Perhaps, that's what is authentic about it. Soup dumpling misses on both skin and broth. All of the other dishes are hit or miss.

A bit overpriced for what you get. Their soup dumplings are decent. Their pork buns are rather sweet and are a bit overpriced. Their General Tso's chicken is definitely overpriced at $20 for a few pieces of chicken in a standard Chinese take out style plastic boxes. Their bubble tea is unremarkable- I couldn't really tell the difference in taste between the taro and the thai iced tea.

I’m only rating takeout of a couple appetizers. Fried pork dumplings had good flavor but were improperly packed in plastic so they were chewy and soggy with no crunch. No sauce was provided. Did not anticipate that the wontons in chili oil would have a peanut sauce.

I ordered fried rice but there was hair in it. I complained but no one said “sorry “ if I chewed that hair i was okay BUT my 11years old daughter was chewed it that and she complained. No one said sorry and they told me keep that dish with us!!! It was really frustrating!!!!!

We went to Little Dumpling, Bayside to give it a try because we are a fan of noodles and dumplings and we always pass by the area. We were seated right away so we placed our orders. It took 30minutes before our food was served. To think that we only ordered for 2 soup dumplings, 1 fried dumpling, 1 beef spicy noodle and 1 wanton noodle. We've noticed that other customers who just came in near our table was served right away. We don't know if it's because we have a different nationality and can't speak and understand their language that's why they don't care if we wait for a long time. To cut it short, I'm so disappointed with the service and the serving of food that you get is a little over price. I am not coming back to this place.

just started working in the neighborhood and i stopped by for lunch . it was around 230 i stopped by to check it out on my break the food was so dry not seasoned . (what is it food from the day before ? ) not to mention the owner (the male )was extremely rude when you confront him and not to mention how he treats the high school kids from cardozo ! disgusting ! talks to them like there peasants like kd he some type of king !

I ordered through Uber eats and the food I received was cold especially the Szechuan Chicken. Not even warm and I had to reheat the dish. It didn't taste great at all. Maybe it was because they were closing soon but still I shouldn't be receiving food that is cold.

The percentage of the tip. After that, the owner stopped us when we’re about to walk out the place and forced us to pay at lease 18% to 22%!!! R U KIDDING ME? Force customers to pay the so called “suggested tip”?!!!!! That was a joooke!!! The service didn’t even worth it!!! SHAME ON THEM!!!!!! DO GO THERE!!!!!

The place is not authentic Chinese food, rude customer service and cash only ( but charge tax and 15-20% tip on top of after tax price, it’s cheating NY sales tax and IRS). Food is dirty and much more oil on the plate....please avoid this one, there are so much authentic Chinese Restaurants in the area.

Hubby and I purchased dumplings, beef soup and chicken and broccoli steamed. Hubby thought that there was rice in between the broccoli turned out it was maggots!!! Immediately that was the end of everyone enjoying dinner. Called the restaurant it was a waste of time! Never again I loved this spot before but I don’t know what’s going on with the restaurant that’s disgusting
