Opinions de Noah's Bagels Oakland
Excellent baker, bagels tasted delicous. Grabbed 12 for the office, and got an extra "an actual baker's dozen". I was there before 7am and the baker had to come out and help with the substantial line of customers. He was wearing a few hats this day.
Buying bagels was the first time for me a little while ago. And I did it in Noah's with a complete satisfaction. They were fresh, tasteful, the consistency unrivaled. What a wonderful cultural surprise !
Ever since my client place of Genova Delicatessen close. I waited patiently to see what's next. Only to find out Noah's will take over. That's cool, but I wasn't anticipating on bagels to hit the scene. Not much to say since Noah's follow a strict guidelines as to how the place should look and feel. This location has Peet's coffee and tea and a counter that resemble a bar. At first it looks like draft beer handle, but it nitro and cold brew coffee. I came here with meet up nearby and to my surprise they had 13 bagel for $8 on Mondays only. I asked if I can mixed/match and they said by all means. I took home a bagful with most in freezer. Now I'm good for at least two weeks. The workers are still figuring out POS, but eventually they'll get it. Just give them some time and they'll be fine. Don't take it too hard on them.
The best bagel shop in Oakland.
Staff was friendly, service was quick, and food and drink both hit the spot! Poppy bagel with avocado+hummus had the perfect amount of both toppings and the soy chai was a nice pick-me-up
I love this placer great service
Got Bagels here twice for my partner and I. Great both times and they give a lot of cream cheese. Friendly service as well. Would definitely recommend, Asiago bagel was delicious.
Everyone I encountered were very nice. They put very little cream cheese on my bagel but were friendly when I asked for more. It looked like they were training a new staff so they respectfully showed them how to correct the problem and I appreciate that!
Excellent choices. The staff was nice and helpful. They treated my daughter well. I would come back again. My daughter ordered a chocolate chip muffin and loved it. I ordered a pumpernickel bagel and it was delicious. Thank you Noah's bagel, you are a wonderful place.
Delicious bagels. I recommend the Texas brisket bagel double egg with the cheddar jalapeño bagel and orange juice. Friendly staff and chill atmosphere.
Super good hella nice service bagel break fast sandwiches were incredible.

the team made a mistake with my order but they gave me 1/2 a dozen bagels to make up for it. it was right before closing and i bet they have to throw all those leftover bagels away while unsheltered people are right outside the door. that’s the kind of customer service i would come back to this location for. i appreciate their heart.
I love this Noah’s Bagels! The service is amazing and the Store Manager Maria is always so friendly and professional! She’s the best in the town!!!
Excellent customer service and wonderful people I. General. Maria and Ericka are my favorite people and always make my food with so much TLC
Their new maple house breakfast sandwich is real good, despite one young naive employee/customer having a grumpy attitude towards others.
Always great service, friendly faces, thank you 🙏 Maria, Delisa and Loyd
I love Noah’s Bagels! As someone who can never manage breakfast prep because of my busy schedule, I really appreciate how quick and reliable they are. Cierra was amazing, and I even skipped Peet’s because it’s so easy to grab my coffee or tea here instead. So grateful this spot is close by. Love it!
The staff knocked my socks off today, they were so kind and welcoming, extremely patient, and above all polite. The young lady at the register made great suggestions that completely enhanced my visit and I was truly grateful I stopped in this afternoon to enjoy this establishment.
OMG I love the energy I get when I go to this Noah's in comparison to others in the bay area. And I've been to them all. Walnut creek,Pinole, Fremont, Marin, etc. The ladies that are there in the early am are always nice smiling and ready to serve. I don't know what it is but they no matter how long it's been since I've been there last they still remember me. That makes my bagel taste so much better 😋. It's two brown 🤎 skin sista's and they bring the business culture.
Always a great pleasure to stop by, great customer service from Maria & Erica, Loyd and Julio are great always fresh pastries and letting me know about new product, Anna always great with prompt friendly service. All in all a great team ! Makes my week

Quick, efficient, and friendly staff. Sandwich was exactly what you'd expect, nothing fancy, but hit the spot, also my partner loves the hazelnut coffee 😅
Today was a good day! I mentioned to the people that work there that we're fixing sandwiches today that in the past few days that I come there it was very messy in the back where the sandwiches are fixed there was a bagel on the floor that no one ever picked up it was underneath where all the bagels are on the rack there was about 2 Bagels left in the front viewing case where you purchase your bagels and they had no organization. My suggestion to the manager would be don't fire them get them better training because at the end of the day how it's running is falling on management. Jobs are too hard to come by nowadays so I would suggest first training them better getting some organization in a flow once they get the flow everything will run much better as far as the quality of the things I've purchased everything has been good but the service was very blah and it took a long time to get what I purchased but again today March 21st was a good day it happened so fast I was shocked they just need to be trained better I would love to speak with the manager one on one to say what I've observed and what could be done better cuz it's real simple.😁
Surprisingly perhaps, it is one of the nicer Noah's I've been to. They has a wide selection of bagels and notable other pastries. It was a nice feeling walking in and especially how early it opens. Staff was pleasant and foos was good.
One of the newer eateries located in this Temescal shopping center, Noah’s Bagels is the place, of course, to find fresh and flavorful bagels that range from the sweet to the savory. And there are nearly as many toppings to match each bagel. In addition to breakfast and lunch menu items there are goodies to satisfy those with a sweet tooth as well as coffee and other beverages. The Temescal location has interior and exterior seating.

Noah's bagels in Telegraph square used to be an awesome place to go for breakfast when joyce was the manager. She ended up moving to another store and ever since customer service has tanked. I still go in there but half the time they dont have the potato salad for the lox bagel. Even when they do have it you have to remind the people making the sandwich to give it to you. It is definitely different on many fronts. Unfortunately there are no bag we're l stores worth going to that are close by.
Okay service . The 2 people preparing the bagels didn’t seem to enthusiastic about making the orders. The place wasn’t busy so no excuse to be what we about making my plain bagel. My main issue was when they called out names they just left the food there unattended .
On average I love Noah's bagels but unfortunately at this location they rarely have a great selection and sometimes they have what taste like stale bagels. The staff always seems helpful but they can be slow at times.
Staff needs further training, service is disjointed. Yes they are friendly but you may not get what you ordered in a timely manor. Very poor flow for people with wheel chairs. Doors are not accessible friendly. Too heavy. None left open for easy welcoming access.
I love Noah’s bagels, I always get the chorizo avocado sunrise baegel. Comes with Chorizo Sausage, Cheddar Cheese, Jalapeno Salsa Shmear, on a Cheddar Jalapeno Gourmet Bagel. When I got it this time, the contents like Eeggs and chorizo wasn’t hot, it was cold so that didn’t make it great to eat but I was hungry so I ate it. I also love their cheesy hash browns .
Normally I just love Noah's bagels! Especially the one in Walnut Creek. But the last two times I've been in there the person behind the cash register has been, well, let's just say they're in a perpetually bad mood. Not a big deal. Everybody has bad days. But the woman ordering before me mentioned that hers was burned the last time she came in there and so she asked that it not happened this time. They said they were having trouble with their toaster. I thought to myself well burned toast is burned toast. If you see it's burned you might want to make a change. But instead they blamed their equipment. Funnily enough, that's exactly what happened to me yesterday. I ordered an asiago cheese bagel with an egg and the picture I've attached is what I got. So, it's not going great. But with a few minor adjustments it can be back to being a really great Noah's bagels.

Rude staff here. The woman with the braids needs to be let go. Tried to wash my hands in the restroom and she pushed a cart in my way and yelled the bathroom is closed to customers. She also yelled at another customer to dine outside and not inside. What kind of behavior is this?
The heavy set dark skin woman with dreads, ruin my experience. Have someone who knows how to deal with coustmers, because she isnt it. I kept telling her what i wanted and she kept saying everything but what i asked for. She was rude smh
Nice menu, but been in 3-4 times and the service needs serious work. Definitely understaffed every time, took 25mins to order and get a bagel, plus it felt disorganized. They were out of all the cold brew tea they advertised, shelves were empty. Looked like it was half abandoned to be honest. Better training could also help, tho the staff is all super nice. Ordered a cup of water, never came (that should be self serve). Nice folks though, in desperate need of systems improved.
I felt sick to my stomach after eating one of their bagel (it passed after a few hours). Also who puts Mayo on a breakfast bagel. Won’t be coming back. The actual bagel tasted ok
I let a cashier know the server forgot my hash brown (this was a different person than the person that took my order). She then took a few minutes to look up the order in the register to verify…what? That I was being truthful about a hash brown? It was verified that I did indeed order the combo. Then I got the hash brown and it was smooshed. That really left a bad taste in my mouth. I won’t be returning to this location. There was also no restitution made for their mistake.

Person behind the counter gave my order wrong. One of the folks in the back just came to the front counter to grab bagel and start eating it while working in the front counter. My bagel was cold and burn. Girls in the back counter rapping. Definitely not coming back.
Went here this morning and the website said open. At 6:49 the doors were locked. Two people were working ignoring the customer knocking on the window. Finally a man said through the glass that he was having equipment problems and they would open at said. Keep in mind, there are know hours of operation or a note informing potential customers that they will be opening later. Totally unacceptable. They should just close this location.
Just ONCE I would like them to put a normal amount of cream cheese on my bagel. Doesn't matter if you ask for extra -and pay for it- you'll always get a sad little blob right in the middle of the bagel. At least spread it out, come on.
Every time I come here they are out of aost everything. Today, only 4 bagel options, bathroom out of order, coffee out of order, gave my food to someone else so I waited 20 mins for two bagels, acceptable customer service though, feel bad for the employees...
I walk in and no one is in line, 2 customers waiting on their food. I order my bagel sandwich. 20 minutes later 1 of the waiting customers has had to talk to 2 different employees because they cant count the number of bagels in his box correctly and keep short counting him. Im still waiting.. Finally my sandwich is given to me by one of the employees that was screwing up the bagel count. I drive to work and my bagel is missing the meat. I have only egg on my "bacon, egg, and cheese" bagel. This isnt the first time I have experienced bad service here but it will be the last.
God forbid you want a toasted bagel. They put the bagels into this like super fast toaster oven, I guess so they can sell more product... and all it does is toast the very surface of the bagel. The inside is completely soft. You can ask for "double toasted"... and congrats, now the surface of your bagel is just burnt slightly, and the inside of the bagel is still soft and completely untoasted. A bagel place that can't toast their bagels... remarkable. 1 star.
I ordered a lox/salmon bagel. The cashier said that they didn't have anyone that can make the sandwiches (Weird, as there were 2 employees) and that all I can order to eat was a bagel with spread. I then order a small latte and the cashier tells me that they arent serving any mixed coffee drinks, only black coffee/tea. I asked her if they were understaffed because they didnt have someone working / trained to make bagel sandwiches or coffee drinks. She laughed and couldnt say why, just kept shaking her head. How are they open and are unable to serve 90% of what they sell? Never returning.
Poor choice of food lack of quality and lack of arrangements and options
If there had been anyone at the register I might have been able to order and get a bagel to review. Stood there for a good fifteen and it seems like the two on-duty employees were too busy making other orders to ever take any new ones. Whoever manages this place should hire more people or reconfigure the shifts.
I absolutely love Noah’s Bengals, and when I learned there was one down the street from I could wait to pick up a Nova Lox bagel that I’ve enjoyed at each and every location I’ve been to. However this location has changed that perception very quickly. The staff are good people, nice and friendly, and there are no complaints about the customer service. However I’m not sure what happens when it comes to the making of the food. When biting into the bengal, it was like biting into rubber, and took a serious effort to tear with every bite. The entire bengal was completely flat, ingredients were spars and placed in different parts of the bagel, hardly layered at all. Three tiny cucumbers clustered together on one side, some random cuts of an onion thrown together in the very center, and entire side of nothing but tomato and salmon. I don’t go out of my way to write reviews because I try not to complain about things. But this is honestly the worst bagel I’ve had, as if it was put together in the dark using whichever means were available, with whatever ingredients could be pulled together. Nothing against the staff working, just hope management/corporate can do a better job of making sure their training/services processes can deliver a better result to their customers.
This place has consistently poor service and unhelpful staff. The display cases are always half empty, the staff always needs to ask the manager for help for everything from how to ring up a basic order to how to prepare a sandwich, and there seems to be some sort of technical problem every time. Today they didn’t have pickles, last time they didn’t have tomatoes. These are pretty basic supplies, but inevitably there’s something they don’t have stocked. I’ve been here at every time of day, every day of the week, at every time of year. It doesn’t matter, the problems are always the same. Not coming back.
The bagels are the only thing good at this shop. Customers service sucks no one has a sense of urgency to place orders and get them to the customer as soon as possible. I order 2 bagels nothing to them just plain as is and it took 15 mins to get them. They drop food on the floor and put it back to give to customers. Also today 3/14/19 they are supposed to be open at 5:30am Monday thru Friday and I showed up at 6:40am and they are not even open. Pour management, pour customer service and pour workers. Owner of the company should be disappointed and hire new staff to make their service as good as their product.
Ordered 3 bagels, and two of them were really weird. The sesame bagel was made with whole wheat dough, which I would have never expected. The everything bagel was basically an onion bagel with a few poppy seeds, no sesame seeds. Really weird experience, pretty disappointing. They must have someone new working in the kitchen.
** Be weary of your totals…I order my breakfast and it came out to $13.89 total and my credit card was charged $16+

The customer service here is so terrible It made me lose my appetite for spending money here. If your staff can't be bothered to be friendly, then I'll just take my business elsewhere. I didn't ask for her name, but cashier with the dreadlocks needs to get her attitude together.
Picked up an order and was completely wrong. First off 4$ glass bottle coke is a lie it’s a plastic bottle. Secondly I asked for an onion bagel and received a plain one. Third they gave me egg whites instead of regular which I stated in my order. If you cannot complete an order as ordered contact the person and ask if substitutes are okay. I pre paid but will never again (if I go back) because I would have walked out if I had been told this info prior. Do better.
Orders door dash and they gave me the wrong cream cheese…. After I spent $30 of course I can’t get anyone on the phone and by the time I’m off work they will be closed. Needless to say I’m irritated…. Receipt is clear as day and says honey almond. If they were out of it, they should’ve wrote a note and definitely not gave me Plain cream cheese…..
