One of the best places in the Bay to get Impossible hot dogs! Can't get enough of them. Friendly service, great atmosphere, and absolutely smackin food! Get their hot dog builds (made with Impossible) and you won't be disappointed!

I got one drink from Tallboy after lunch and it was the banana hammock. When they said actual flames, they mean actual flames. It’s not like some little candle they garnish on your drink, they actually spritz and flamethrower the drink with cinnamon spice and you can really taste it! Our mixologist was awesome for entertaining us at 2pm on a Saturday and the one drink I got was great and a sneaky one. I’ll have to come back to try one of their hot dogs next time!

Came early around 4 on a Friday in December. There were a couple small groups and the vibes were chill and festive. The place was packed by 530 and the crowd was a good blend. Bar itself is one of the best looking I’ve been to in Oakland, staff were friendly and made some great drinks. Only had a few snack items but will be back to try more of the menu. It has all the workings to be my new favorite spot, can’t wait to come back.

Really cool ambiance inside. I have not had any of the custom drinks but I did stop by on my lunch and try the Lion Dancing dog. Very good! The lady bartender was very nice and welcoming too! Definitely will be going back to try drinks/more dogs. Update 6/20/25: tried a few drinks and they were wonderful! I had the pretty privilege & baby boy...oh and another Lion Dancing Dog.

East Bay’s BEST bar! This self proclaimed martini dive bar still manages to be fresh and modern and sexy. They offer complementary popcorn, always have great music (soundtracks or DJs!), their food is vegan, the drinks are shaken with absolute VIGOR, and the service is top tier for the industry. A special thanks to Den for being such a gracious and personable owner, Sunny for always having the best rapport with guests, Julian for keepin it real, Max for witty conversations, V for being a badass sweetheart, Dani for the most loving queer vibes, Michael for his easy smiles and easy demeanor, mellow Jeanie with her finesse for the craft, Dave’s vigilance at the door, and of course Jordan (especially when wearing a tank top haha!) Love you all. Thanks for creating such a fantastic space in Oakland!

This bar is an absolute vibe inside, the interior design is beautiful. The bartenders and bouncer were all super friendly, and it really feels like everyone was enjohing themselves. Love how interesting the menu is, but we had the lychee martini, chamoy shots, and green tea jello shots and nothing was particularly good.

Full disclosure... Tallboy is a client of mine but that being said we don't get out much. Took my lady for drinks on a Friday night and wound up having an absolutely exceptional evening. I'm giving the food five stars because our table Partners couldn't stop raving about it even though we were just there for the drinks. The service was outstanding, Den the owner, was very personable with all the people he was helping and it was great to watch him mix up some great drinks. The atmosphere was exactly what I expected of a martini Speakeasy Lounge. The Cosmopolitan is a remarkable upgrade on a classic recipe and I really enjoyed my Game Blouses, not just in name only.

Stellar experience. I mean a hotdog with a cocktail what else could you want. The atmosphere is super cool it’s well designed. The drinks are great and the hotdogs are bomb. There’s just a pretty fun menu here in general. It is loud but realize why you’re here. It’s a bustling vibrant bar with spectacular drinks, great staff and fun menu.

I had high hopes for the cocktail program fueled by local hype, but the drinks I had were just ok. The food was really good though, been craving the spicy Lion Dance dog and sesame seed cookies. I came in as a birthday treat for myself, and it took awhile to get noticed or offered a menu even though it wasn't busy. **update** the martinis we had this last visit and the Vespas were delicious. Ok listen here, this a good spot. The menu is bonkers - so many good options. Cant go wrong with the classic dirty martini, comes shaken and icy, NOICE. Espresso martinis are delicious, the provide a frozen option with no dairy whip - wild. Secret wish: this place has a hot dog eating contest.

Omg the elote dog was to die for and the popcorn was a lovely touch! My gorls and I tried several cocktails and they were all delicious (somewhat on the sweet side). We had a different bartender each time and we kept noting how friendly (and cute) they all are!! I’m just shy of 35 and would say it was a little loud and a little dark (a lot of flashlights were being used throughout the bar to read the menu… and it was the reason I didn’t snag any pix). If I were in my 20s I probably wouldn’t have notice. IMPORTANTLY: all-gender, wheelchair-accessible/stepless restroom situation and generally queer-friendly. 👍👍

Tough competition for my favorite Oakland bar, but this is it. Somehow magically appeals to every demographic while still having a strong identity and great prices on excellent drinks. Big fan of the minimalist design that still feels cosy, with a monolithic bar and textured walls it somehow feels uncrowded while still being intimate and generally packed. Absolutely love this place, love the cheekies, love the cocktails, love the staff. If you're going on a first date or meet up I'd try to get there earlier in the night because it will get full and can be hard to hear each other. Free popcorn!

The cocktails at this place are incredible and unique. Solid martinis and seasonal cocktails. Highly recommend their espresso martini slushie and green curry martini. Their food compliments their cocktail menu. During the afternoon the light hits this bar so well, creating a relaxing atmosphere.. by night time it’s a whole damn party!!!

FANTASTIC. Cocktails: creative spins and excellent execution of classics. New inventions are incredible. FROZEN ESPRESSO MARTINI HEATWAVE $10 Dirty martini Industry specials Vegan hot dogs, and all the industry bar bites anyone could want! Don't be shy of the vegan word- I'm a carnivore and loved it. Another great spot in Oakland just opened!

It's a great space and the cocktails are on point, it's just way too loud. They usually play good music but it's hard to be there with how blasting the music is in every section.

Wanted to see what the hype was all about. Pretty standard hipster bar vibes. Good cocktails. Ordered a hot dog, which was good, but small - wanted to get another, but they ran out of hot dogs by 8pm, and I wasn't able to get the salad I ordered because they ran out of the lettuce for it. They offered to replace the lettuce with another kind, but I passed.
