Excellent down home Mexican food! As a vegetarian I stick with the everything bean burrito - sometimes able to only eat half. I recently ventured into the chili relleno - which I am very picky about, preferring to go to the effort of making my own. I was NOT disappointed! Two fat cheese filled chilies with a light whipped egg coating. Spicy but not too hot red sauce, with beans, rice small salad.

Best restaurant for Mexican food! Feels really welcoming and it's clean!! Everyone is super friendly and courteous. If you're in the Bay Area, definitely a must try!😃

Delicious!! My fiance got the Caldo De Res and loved it. I got the Plato de Flautas and it was massive. Very tasty. I can't wait to come back here. Btw cash only!

This place is hands down the best tacos in Oakland, might even be the best in the bay area. All the meats are tender and delicious and the tacos are super juicy and well balanced.

Tortas are delicious when you order beans added only meat/steak, cheese, beans, and add mayonnaise instead of sourcream makes a big difference very tasty...

I come visit my sister from Portland, and this place reminds me of how a taqueria should work, great food, reasonable prices, cash only, just a great overall experience. Going back tomorrow morning for breakfast 😋

My daughter ordered their burritos and she ordered their cheeseburger and fries, which she says is very good. They have a parking lot and they are located in a busy area which is mainly a residential neighborhood. I always tell people how good their food is and I always receive my food quickly even when they are packed with customers. These are a large group of strong women creating really good food. I would recommend anyone to try their food.

The inside of the restaurant could use some improvement, but otherwise great food at affordable prices and friendly staff. I do takeout and it's always worth it.

Their caldo de res (beef stew) is very good. It’s the only dish I have tried here. I would give it five stars if the restaurant was in a much safer location and if they would accept other forms of payment—it’s a cash only kind of place. I am rooting for them to move the business somewhere else less rowdy. But that caldo de res is amazing—so I’ll have to be back!
