A-Town Pizza and Kabob House

A family-run business serving classic pies with the best crust I've had in years. The kabobs and pizza are tasty and well made. I recommend a side of marinara sauce to savor every bite. The service was very friendly and we had no complications with our order. It was approved by my and our friends' kids. This is our new spot for the families.

Pizza The way pizza should taste. I have tried most of the Bay Area Pizza places, and I rank this place in the elite category. Can't go wrong here. Excellent service, great Pizza , and reasonable prices.

Nice little spot, ordered pickup for three. 1-chicken kabob plate and two combo chkn/beef kabob plates, glad it took about 25mins, everything was fresh, hot, and so tasty, the Afgan rice was the best, so flavorful, the spices used on the combo beef and chicken kabob plate so delicious and aromatic, nice little green salad and mixed tomato and onion salad were great. Great first time experience here and worth the short wait, Thankyou!!!

Best pizza in the Bay area. I have a semi annual appointment in Alameda (where I lived prior to south of Tahoe now) and I always allow enough time to get a pizza at A-Town. Their kabobs are great too!

Love this place the kabobs are delicious me and my son’s favorite in Alameda. The pizza is also pretty good and the bread that comes with the kabobs is yummy really love this place the custemer service is always great.

This is the best pizza place ever! There pizza is delicious and mouthwatering especially their kabobs! I just came from Canada and this place is my favorite!! There service is fantastic, and employees are very sweet! You guys should come here and try it out!!

I’ve been reluctant to leave this review because this is my favorite pizza in the Bay Area and I didn’t want too much competition when I’m getting my pizza lol. I’ve tried nearly every pizza place within a 20 mile radius of here so I know what I’m talking about. We do game day every Sunday with friends and often take turns bringing pizza from different places for comparison, A Town is consistently the winner. The staff here are also a great bunch and they make good kebabs too if you want a side dish or just feel like trying something different. Give them try, you wont be disappointed!

Tough to find a better pizza because it is always fresh, hot, fairly priced, and the crust is so good. I love the garlic chicken and garlic supreme the most. They don't skimp on toppings and the dough is just delicious. The guys are always super nice and if there was one in North Oakland I would probably eat there once a week so it's probably better that I have to drive out. Haha!

I've been buying pizza here for 13 years and continue to drive there from Oakland even after leaving Alameda 10 years ago. Tough to find a better pizza because it is always fresh, hot, fairly priced, and the crust is so good. I love the garlic chicken and garlic supreme the most. They don't skimp on toppings and the dough is just delicious. The guys are always super nice and if there was one in North Oakland I would probably eat there once a week so it's probably better that I have to drive out. Haha!

I've been to at least four other pizza places the island, A-Town is hands down the best of the bunch. I have the small combo each time I go and nobody does it better. The folks that run the place have always offered good service, never an issue.

For sure the best, with two caveats 1.in Alameda,2. standard take out pizza. Pizza is a very complicated equation, lots of factors involved (dough, sauce, toppings.) This is the best I've had in Alameda. The family that runs this place also have a handful of Afghani kabobs which are quite good.

The Combination and Hawaiian pizza is always good quality here. I never eat in but it seems decent.

Great pizzas, but a couple times I’ve ordered a large cheese and it had a hint of onion flavoring and scent I didn’t ask for that ruined the whole pie
