Spent our tenth anniversary here for dinner and drinks. The food was absolutely amazing! Such a great evening, all the staff was great! Even had a wonderful pianist! Our waiter Kevin was the best lots of fun! Thank you for a wonderful evening!

We had a phenomenal experience at Le Volte. Oftentimes I’ve found that ratings are inflated for restaurants at the beach, but this place is legit. The atmosphere is beautiful and you can see the ocean from every table. The staff was great, and our server Daniel - fantastic. Every appetizer, entree, and drink we ordered was delicious. Even the bread and butter was tasty. Absolutely check this place out if you’re looking for a nicer dinner on Ocean Isle Beach.

I live in Europe and was I am visiting my family in North Carolina. They wanted me to experience something special and it truly was tonight! I did not know I was going to end up in a Michelin star restaurant! Le Volte certainly deserves this honor! The service, atmosphere and food were all outstanding. Grouper, salmon, crab cakes, and pasta Manfredi were all excellent. Our waitress Hannah was so pleasant. I asked her if I could have linguine Instead of tortellini with the salmon and there was no problem with the change—so accommodating. The other thing that I noticed on the menu was that many items were gluten-free and also the chefs were willing to work with anybody who had an allergy. I will certainly return again when I’m back in the United States and absolutely recommend this restaurant without any hesitation! Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Le Volte was incredible. They accommodated our rehearsal dinner with 15 guest with a 30 minute lead time after our plans fell apart. The food and service was amazing. The food was well worth the price. They then handled our wedding reception, the next night. Annalisa should be your go to for events. From the first contact until the last guest left she was focused on ensuring everyone had a great experience. The reception food was out of sight. Highly recommended

Amazing experience! Our waitress was so attentive- it felt like the ultimate fine dining experience. The food and drinks were great. They sat us at a corner table that was nice and private to celebrate my brothers engagement and even gave us complimentary dessert. We will definitely be back!

I’m not one to really ever leave a review, but this restaurant is OUTSTANDING in every way. From service, to the top quality of the food, to the beautiful restaurant I had to share our amazing experience. We dined here last night and decided to try the “family style” offering. We are a family of “foodies” with pretty high expectations…. and we were simply blown away…. Not one dish disappointed!! We were served 3 appetizers (calamari, crab cakes, and oysters Rockefeller) each were delicious…the calamari is crispy, perfectly cooked, and the Asian inspired sauce is amazing…the crab cakes are made with actual crab and not a bunch of fillers and are excellent…the oysters were absolutely perfect! Next came the pasta course. The pasta was fresh and the sauces were incredible…like you want to lick your plate clean good! Next we had a tomahawk steak, grouper, short rib, potatoes, and scallops. The steak was cooked to perfection with a perfect crust, the grouper was absolutely incredible and the short rib literally melted in your mouth! Then came the desserts…the crème bruele was the table favorite but that chocolate cake was so moist and decadent…and the tiramisu was also fantastic (and I usually don’t even enjoy tiramisu!). Our server was Michael (from Italy) was very attentive and seemed to appear just as you needed him. He made our experience such a great one! He smoked our old fashioned’s table side and you could tell he truly wanted us to enjoy our experience. This restaurant is a true gem! It is not only beautiful with an incredible ocean view but the staff are above and beyond any other! You feel truly cared about and the service is seriously top notch! We enjoyed our experience so much we went ahead and made reservations for our next visit. If you are questioning whether to go or not…go! Truly one of the best meals I’ve ever experienced!! For reference we were a group of multiple generations (mid seventies…40’s…and teens) and EACH ONE OF US left with the highest praises!! Wish I’d taken more photos! It is so rare to find a restaurant that delivers on all sides but this one nailed it! Well done Le Volte…we will be back often!!

This is exactly what ocean isle needed. Amazing service, atmosphere, and amazing food. Unlike most restaurants in the area you get what you pay for! Thank you again for making our daughters birthday absolutely wonderful

Le Volte did not disappoint. The service was the highlight of our evening, and the seared scallops over risotto were the best I’ve had in a long time. Perfectly cooked and served promptly. The restaurant was busy but never felt crowded. The staff didn’t miss a beat. Don’t miss out on this gem

My husband and I got married in OIB on Monday 10/13. While planning the wedding we found it very difficult to find a restaurant willing to accommodate our group of 22 after a sunset wedding. This fabulous restaurant usually closes at 9:00. They stayed open to accommodate us and were fabulous. The staff was warm, attentive and spoiled us rotten. The food was impeccable. I honestly can’t say enough about this restaurant and its staff. Everyone should come and have this experience! My husband and I thank Le Volte and their staff for a very special and memorable dinner.

Dinner Review: Le Volte Le Volte offers a delightful dining experience with a beautiful ocean view. We celebrated the Ocean Isle Beach Sea Turtle end of season dinner and it could not have been better. The daily menu showcases a variety of steak, seafood and pasta dishes, each made with the freshest ingredients. We opted for salad, dinner rolls and 2 pasta options. We ended our meal with cupcakes from Spilt Milk. Or should I say DELICIOUS cupcakes from Spilt Milk. As always, the food was delicious, service was outstanding and the cupcakes were a perfect end to our meal. The private room, where we present summer turtle talks, is the perfect location for all types of celebrations. The pull down screen allowed us to share our end of season volunteer slide show. Le Volte is Ocean Isle Beaches only oceanfront dining experience, attentive service in a relaxing atmosphere and serves dishes that are both comforting and sophisticated. It’s a restaurant that I would highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy date night, family dinners or celebrations of all kinds. One of the advantages of dining at Le Volte, especially in the busy summer months, it they take reservations! I highly recommend to anyone considering a wedding venue at Ocean Isle Beach to have it at Le Volte. We had the most incredible food and service at the wedding of our son. It was a delight to see the staff not only providing great service but enjoying the wedding reception. The staffs enthusiasm kept the guest engaged in the celebration. Annalisa is great to work with and she created a beautful dining experience for a festive evening. Accompanied by bartender Melanie, guests were treated to a special holiday event. Great food, a beautiful oceanfront venue and top notch staff and chefs make Le Volte the place to be for any celebration!

We had a small wedding dinner of 19. Annalisa helped coordinate the dinner. She was great. The food was loved by all and Le Volte is a lovely place. Would definitely recommend for any occasion. Thank you LeVolte/Annalisa for making the bride and grooms day special.

Our golf group had our Holiday luncheon here recently. The beautifully decorated room, the attentive and efficient staff, and the most delicious food (and drinks!)made it an event to remember. Special thanks also to Annalisa, our event coordinator who was easy and wonderful to work with!

From the moment we walked in, the staff was absolutely wonderful—attentive, helpful, and welcoming. Our appetizers arrived promptly, and the rest of the meal was served right on time. Our waitress provided excellent service throughout the evening. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making the experience even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dining experience. We came here to celebrate our 14th anniversary, and it truly made the occasion feel special.

Cannot say enough about the level of service and quality of food at a recent fundraising dinner for Susan Komen held at Le Volte. I knew the food in their restaurant was excellent, but was blown away by their delivery of an exceptional special event. The event coordinator (Annalisa) worked within a tight budget and personally managed the whole event to over-deliver on a wonderful experience. Its wonderful to see a business that actively supports their local community.

My sister took me to Le Volte to celebrate my birthday. We had reservations for Thursday night so we could enjoy the tomahawk steak special. It was probably one of my top 3 dining experiences ever. (And I turned 70 so that's a lot of dining to compare to!) Not only was the food absolutely fantastic, the staff was superb and the ambiance was spectacular. She enjoyed it so much she picked Le Volte the following week for she and her boyfriend for Valentines Day. I have raved to anyone that will listen what am amazing restaurant this is. My neighbor went a couple of nights ago and she called to let me know she was "highly impressed". She also complimented the decor, staff and how great their dishes were. With summer right around the corner, I am going to see how far out they accept reservations because you won't be able to get in there during tourist season. If you haven't been, you need to go.

I can’t say enough about Annalisa and the wedding that our family just had there. She was amazing from the beginning to the end. She was respectful, knowledgeable, and gracious at all times. The food was great and as the evening went on, not only she coordinated everything and made it perfect but she also spent a lot of time organizing and packing us up at the end of the night. The ambience and the view were magnificent. Anyone considering this venue as long as you have Annalisa you will be all set and thrilled.

My wife and I try to experience a different restaurant every time we dine out so went to Le Volte on Ocean Isle Beach for Valentine's Day yesterday. Beautiful location, our server TJ did a great job, the view of the ocean and sunset were outstanding. the cesar salad we has was very good and the veal parmigiano was the size of the plate and did not disappoint. One of the best we ever had. We each took half home. We would highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to coming back in the future.

Such great service and atmosphere!! We went 2 nights in a row. The 2nd visit was for my elderly mother’s birthday. Hayley made it so special!! The food was on point, best steak we’ve had in Brunswick or New Hanover counties. Great drinks. The bananas foster bread pudding was exceptional and enough for 3 or 4 people. I can’t stop thinking about it!!

Our ladies golf league year-end Holiday Luncheon at Le Volte was absolutely wonderful. The food was delicious, and there was an ample amount on the buffet so everyone was more than satisfied. The staff was extremely attentive and made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the event. Our event coordinator Annalisa was great to work with—professional, responsive, and truly helpful in helping us plan the luncheon and overseeing every detail that day. The restaurant’s ambiance was lovely, with beautiful ocean views and Christmas décor that made the celebration feel festive and special. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and a perfect setting for our holiday gathering. We’re already planning to bring our group back to Le Volte next year!

We had our first visit to Le Volte! It will not be our last. We sat at the bar and the drinks were made and served with perfection. My Husband got the pork chop and it was delicious. I had a salad and crab cake and was not disappointed. Hannah took good care of us and she had a wonderful personality! One more thing bourbon selection is great. The venue is beautiful!

We threw my mom’s 70th birthday party here last November and it was absolutely perfect! From the staff, food and drinks along with the view you can’t ask for a better place in OIB to have a celebration! Annalisa is a rockstar and ensures everything is taken care of for your celebration! 💯 recommend!!!

We have attended many events and dinners at Le Volte, this review is long overdue! Every time we have visited they exceeded our expectations. I have a dairy allergy that is always able to be accommodated. The food quality has been exceptional with lots of flavor. The staff is attentive, appreciative and professional. We highly recommend this beautiful restaurant with amazing oceanfront views.

A Dream Wedding Made Perfect by an Incredible Team! Our wedding at Le Volte was nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment we began planning to the very last dance, the entire team went above and beyond to make our day flawless. A special shoutout to Annalisa, our venue coordinator, who was truly the heart of the operation. She stayed through the entire event, working tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure every detail was perfect. Her organization, calm presence, and dedication were unmatched — we honestly couldn’t have done it without her! And let’s not forget Melony, our amazing bartender! She kept the drinks flowing all night with such a great attitude and vibrant personality that every guest loved her. She made the bar feel like its own little celebration. The food was absolutely phenomenal — beautifully presented, bursting with flavor, and enjoyed by every single guest. We’re still getting compliments on it! If you’re looking for a wedding venue that truly cares, delivers impeccable service, and surrounds you with a team who treats your day as their own, look no further than Le Volte. They made our wedding magical in every possible way.

Upon a friend's recommendation, we decided to try Le Volte for a special birthday dinner. We were NOT disappointed!! It is our new go-to place for fine dining. The filet Mignon was one of the best I have had in a long time. And the halibut was excellent. The views of the ocean and the sunset, as well as, the excellent service made for a memorable experience. Highly recommend it!

What a great restaurant. The food was great, view is beautiful, and the manager, Stephanie, is so professional and accommodating. Her professionalism really made it nice for all of us! I didn’t think one Caesar salad could differ from another, but the Caesar I had there was the best I’ve ever had! I’m definitely going back to get that again. Everyone else in my party absolutely love what they had, too! This is a very nice restaurant!

Recently hosted my daughter and now son-in-law's wedding at Le Volte. With 100 guests and a stormy weekend, all back up plans were fully initiated! The ceremony took place in the smaller of the 2 banquet rooms, the reception took place in the larger banquet room, and cocktail hour was spread between the middle room and the reception room. The staff did a beautiful job preparing the space for the ceremony and then quickly converting the space for the buffet dinner. Both bars were open during cocktail hour, serving guests efficiently and effectively. The staff were professional and attentive. Numerous wedding guests noticed their efforts and commented to me how much the staff were contributing to a very successful event. Passed hors d'oeuvres and buffet dinner were both delicious. The best part: the bartenders danced behind the bar all night, right along with the guests! When the meal staff had a break after dinner they played the games we had provided in the cocktail room. The staff had great attitudes and seemed to be having as much as fun as the wedding guests! They all seemed happy to be there with us! The bartenders were very responsive to all our guests requests...from all of the stories I heard the next day! The dance floor stayed packed all night -- the true measure of a successful wedding reception! Shout out to Annalisa and her exceptional staff to supporting our wishes and helping create the wedding event my daughter and her partner wanted. We went to a wine pairing dinner at LeVolte and it was awesome. The food, wine choices and service were great. The ambiance of the restaurant is very nice. It was a benefit for Cape Fear Hospice which was also special. If you see they are having a dinner event such as this don’t hesitate, its a must.

Beach vacation. We made reservations. Large place. Clean. Staff was friendly and professional. Our meals were Tomahawk steaks and grouper. Small mixed drinks menu. Food for most palates. Creamed spinach is amazing. Food was done correctly. Somewhat of a wait but not horrible. Definitely a place to dine.

Wife and I went there for birthday dinner Crab bisque was xtra good with large chunks of crab meat. She had grouper that was good, I had halibut that was great. Tiramisu was ok, strong coffee taste. Overall I would say the service is great and is a decent choice for dinner

Our pasta was like glue all stuck together we had to return it.so my wife didn't get to eat anything.my capino was fantastic great sauce and flavor.They say on the menu that it's home made pasta but it didn't taste like homemade. Oysters on the half were the best around better than the Oyster house. The blue cheese salad was very nicely done. And they comp us there chocolate cake to die for

The views and atmosphere of Le Volte are excellent. We were a party of four a few weeks ago. Everything is top notch here with only a few minor details. My meal was excellent. My dining companions thought the sides had too much of an onion flavor. I did not notice. Two of us ordered a limoncello aperatif. The waiter was not sure of what that was. The bartender even came over to ask us if we wanted a lemon drop drink. When it did come it was served warm. Still good but not great. Kudos to the staff for informing me I left my wallet on the table. Will we go back? Definitely!

Important Safety Warning for Guests Visiting Le Volte My husband and I visited Le Volte for the first time to celebrate my birthday. While the restaurant itself is beautifully designed, the staff was kind, and the food was enjoyable, I feel obligated to leave this review due to a serious safety concern that has yet to be addressed. Upon entering the restaurant, I tripped and fell over an unmarked 2-inch lip at the entrance. Unfortunately, about 10 minutes later, another woman tripped on the exact same step. Unfortunately, I’ve suffered a back injury as a result of my fall. Following the incident, I made several attempts to contact both the restaurant and the building owner to suggest a simple and reasonable safety fix: paint the lip in a bright color (red, yellow, or orange) and place a “Watch Your Step” sign. I wasn’t asking for anything beyond this—just a preventative measure to protect future guests. Despite my persistence since July, nothing has been done. The restaurant seemed more concerned about potential legal repercussions than guest safety, contacting their insurance company but never following up with me directly. I called daily for a period of time, seeking a solution, only to be met with frustration and dismissiveness. What’s most concerning is that I’ve learned others have tripped or fallen at this exact spot in the past, even under the building’s previous restaurant tenants. This is not a one-time issue—it’s a recurring safety hazard that continues to be ignored. It’s extremely disheartening that neither the restaurant nor the building management has taken even the smallest step to prevent future injuries. I believe the lack of action may be influenced by contributory negligence laws, which can shift responsibility away from the business. Regardless of legal protections, this is a preventable danger, and guests deserve to be warned. I’m sharing my experience here not out of bitterness, but out of genuine concern. I will continue to raise awareness until proper safety measures are taken. If this had only happened to me, I may have let it go—but knowing others have also been hurt makes it impossible for me to stay silent. Please be careful when entering Le Volte—and I sincerely hope the restaurant and property owners choose to act before someone else is seriously injured.

We were a party of 7 for a 7:30om reservation last Friday, requesting outdoor seating so we could remain casual (indoor seating is more formal). In our reservation, it asks if we are celebrating a special event, which I clearly indicated we were: it was my husband's 50th birthday, which is why we were splurging on a nice meal on our last night here at the beach. We arrived on time and waited just a few minutes for our table to be ready. Server was very bubbly and nice, said she was also training someone new. She promptly took our drink orders. We had three cocktails, one mocktail, and three lemonades and waters. We placed our appetizer order of calamari and burrata mozzarella and asked for some bread to tie the kids over, the latter of which came out promptly, but our table was not provisioned with napkin/silverware bundles so we had no means to spread the butter. We asked someone for silverware. Then the appetizers arrived, but again we had no silverware. We waited about 5 mins as it got cold to flag our server down for utensils. The calamari, albeit no longer warm, was tasty. The burrata was as well, but they only give two small slices of crostini. We used our table bread to continue enjoying the mozzarella, balsamic glaze, etc., but the appetizer should have the diameter of the plate arrayed with slices of crostini. One cannot put a half slab of mozzarella onto a tiny sliver of bread. We ordered short rib, grouper, a burger, teo kids chicken tender meal, two filet mignons with bearnaise, and a side of Brussels because they were no longer carrying the broccolini on the menu. No complaints from guests on most of the entrees, but the filets were really charbroiled on the outside. Cooked to our desired temperature on the inside, but tasted like a charcoal briquette on the outside. Even slathering it with bearnaise didn't mask or cut the charcoal. The Brussels were just roasted, no flavor and nothing to write home about. And these entrees were quite pricey, so we were expecting steakhouse level perfection. The biggest disappointment was that, despite our advance notice that we were all there to celebrate my husband's milestone birthday, there was no mention of it from the staff. No birthday slice of cake brought out, no HBD acknowledgment of any kind. The drinks were good, service was good with a few hiccups, server was very nice and friendly, and much of the food was tasty. If we return, I'll probably come back for lunch instead. It just wasn't worth the $ we dropped on the dinner check, and it was not the special celebratory birthday dinner we hoped it would be.

The food was good but I would've expected better service for the price. We had a reservation for a high top and we're told when we got there that there were no high tops. The hostess didn't offer anything else and then I finally asked if we could get a seat outside? As we were being seated at our table, they gave us an explanation that they had a wedding reception. If a restaurant like this can't handle a wedding reception and reservations then maybe they shouldn't do both. The servers and food handlers also seemed not understand serving etiquette so that they didn't reach over us or hand things to us. Again, I would have expected better for a restaurant of this caliber. The food was delicious and the portions were great. The food and views were the redeeming qualities. Since this was our first time there, we will probably come back to try again.

Well that was one and done. The wedge salad barely had any tomatoes, bacon, or dressing but did have lots and lots of lettuce. They should rename it to the sad salad that makes me people sad. The Caesar salad tasted kind of artificial but not out of the lane for local dining options. The bread, on the other hand, was a sin that Jesus didn’t die for; underbaked, chewy while also squishy, and something even Jerome’s would be ashamed to serve. The gnocchi tasted like something they bought from Trader Joe’s. The Grouper had zero seasoning. The squid ink pasta was flavorless, the seafood was wildly overcooked, and the tomato sauce had zero flavor. The scallops smelled like straight ammonia. Best part? Two hours to eat, and didn’t get our food for over an hour and a half. $350 out the door tax and tip for four drinks and an appetizer with a salad shouldn’t be sitting around for two hours and our server not giving us the drinks we ordered while getting our order wrong. Feels like they review bombed google, because it was expensive and awful. 0/0 stars
