The most amazing Italian food I’ve had… the staff was amazing. I can’t wait to make the 2 hour drive back in traffic just to experience this again. Pizza, drinks, pasta, Calzones, apps, everything was amazing but I can’t get over the staff and the way they treated my family. 10/10 can’t wait to go back which may be tonight.

Amalfi was amazing! We went during happy hour and were pleasantly surprised. What we got in order of tastiness: 1) Meatball appetizer 2) Mussels and Clams 3) Salmon Bruschetta 4) mini lasagna / beet salad 5) artichoke appetizer I could tell that the quality of the ingredients was top notch, from cheese to meat, everything was very fresh! There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. The wine list was great! The servers were super polite and helpful. Love the atmosphere. We will be back :)

Best meal we've had in quite some time. Everything from the food, to the drinks, and service was excellent. We had the Cacio E Pepe and O'side pizza. Sebastian was a wonderful bartender, friendly and attentive.

Lunch at Almafi and we were so excited it was finally open. The wine list had such a great variety to choose from and with a full bar my sister could have her favorite cocktail, espresso martini. We ordered Bruschetta Prosciutto for our appetizer and it was so fresh tasting and delicious. We had a Margherita pizza that was amazing with a nice thin crust and some added fresh Parmesan cheese. We ate every bit! Prices were reasonable and the staff is so friendly and attentive, we especially loved Michelangelo who came to America 16 years ago and still has that beautiful Italian accent as did another gentleman so you got the feeling of Italy in this little restaurant by the pier. Great outdoor seating with comfortable chairs and heaters. Great place to eat or enjoy a glass of wine and watch the people pass by.

This is our third visit and it keeps getting better. The food and drinks were great. Our server Sam was friendly, attentive, and on point. Definitely recommend requesting her as a server.

This was a birthday gift and we loved it! Great service by Mateo! Amazing food, drinks and atmosphere! We will be back! We got the pistachio crusted salmon and lasagna! We also ordered the Caprese appetizer and 2 alcoholic beverages!

The new Amalfi in Oceanside is as amazing and impressive as the San Marcos location. As always, the food was excellent and the service from the owners is truly first class. This is definitely a great option to celebrate any special occasion!

Food was impeccable, especially the Bruschetta Prosciutto (chef’s kiss) and the Salmon with Pistachio. Lovely artesanal beer and on the house courtesy. Sean was super friendly and supportive, lovely to chat with.

We had the best time! Our waiter Sebastian was the best- he made good suggestion for our group and happily accommodated our menu changes/ substitutions. If you are in the area and looking for a nice place to have a good time- this is the place- food is delicious!! Drinks are amazing❤️

We are so excited that Amalfi has reopened in Oceanside! The owner Emilio waited on us and treated us like we were eating at his home. We had the Mediterranean Salad, Eggplant Parmigiana, Momma’s meatballs and the clam & calamari with red sauce (unbelievably tasty red sauce that needs to be sopped up with bread!). Paired with a bottle of Chianti Classico made the meal. Some limoncello to top off the night was the right call! Oceanside continues to offer amazing culinary experiences and Amalfi leads the way!

We have loved the San Marcos location for years, and we’ve been anxiously waiting for the Oceanside location to reopen. Incredible food and service! We’ve ordered many things over the years, but I tried something new this time. I fear I may never order anything else now, it was incredible! Get the rigatoni with Norcini sauce - INSANELY delish. Literal perfection. Great wine suggestions and service from Leeila, too! We sat at the bar because we didn’t have a reservation and they were booked up, but the service and comfortable was as good as if we had been sat at a table. We got to watch the pizzas being made in that stunning pizza oven, too! Everyone around us was oohing and aahing over their food. So glad you all are back in action here in Oceanside! The family behind Amalfi locations is truly doing exceptional work all around.

We came here for the first time on Valentine's Day for lunch. I ordered a very good lemon drop martini with limoncello, and my wife the Four Season drink. Hers was a little more flavorable and just...more! I had the wide noodles with the meaty ragu and my wife had the O'side pizza, which I highly recommended! Even the to go pizza box was nice. Outside seating during the day is the way to go, with plenty of heatlamps.

Amalfi has brought their A-game this time. After closing for renovation they have reopened with flair! Their menu has been curated to reflect their Italian roots with a nod to the coastal location. The atmosphere received the biggest upgrade with soft banquettes and a beautiful open kitchen with imported pizza oven and intricate tile. The patio has transformed into an outdoor living space with soft greenery and warm lighting. Try the Prosecco and any of their soups along with fresh pasta or pizza for an Italian evening on the California coast. You won’t be disappointed!

Walked in with party of 11 at 530. Seated almost immediately. Met the owner. Great guy. Food was excellent as was service! I’m an Italian food guy and this was authentic. Complementary Lemoncello was the icing on the cake.

Amalfi Cucina Italiana is an excellent choice if you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine paired with a great atmosphere. The food was outstanding. We ordered the Lasagna, which featured delicate layers of thin egg pasta with a rich 100% beef ragù, béchamel, tomato sauce, and Parmigiano. The dish was comforting, well-balanced, and full of flavor. We also ordered the Gnocchi al Tartufo with 24-month Parmigiano Reggiano, it was a special the night we visited and easily became the highlight of the meal. The pillowy, house-made potato gnocchi were served in a creamy Parmigiano sauce with crispy guanciale and finished with fresh truffle from Alba, Italy. Rich, indulgent, and perfectly executed. Service was friendly and attentive, with a personable waiter who was knowledgeable about the menu. The only neutral note is that tables are cleared fairly quickly, neither a positive nor a negative, just something noticeable. The atmosphere really rounds out the experience. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, making it a great option regardless of the occasion or weather. The outdoor patio features live music on Friday and Saturday evenings, which adds to the overall ambiance without overpowering conversation. There is a huge wine selection, a full bar, and a menu with plenty of options for different tastes. The fact that the pasta is made in-house is evident in both texture and flavor, and the dessert options provide a strong reason to stay a little longer. Overall, excellent food, welcoming service, and a lively yet relaxed atmosphere. Definitely a restaurant worth returning to. 🍝🍷

Taking the advice of locals we met on the beach, we enjoyed charming atmosphere and tummy tickling food at Amalfi Cucina near the Oceanside Pier. We ordered papperdelle with bolognese sauce and eggplant Parmesan and were served freshly baked rustic bread with exquisite olive oil with rosemary and lentils. We were not surprised to learn all bread, pasta, sauces and other dishes are prepared in house and based on time tested recipes (some 100 years old). Our busy waiter Ege was personable and welcoming as was the restaurant owner greeting all comers. Definitely worth the visit!

We absolutely loved this authentic Italian restaurant in Oceanside. From the moment we walked in, the hospitality made us feel so welcome and taken care of. The food was truly delicious and tasted incredibly authentic, every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. You can really tell they take pride in their cuisine and service. We can’t wait to come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for genuine Italian food and a great dining experience. Great wine selection and great location, right next to the pier!!! They have a beautiful patio, equipped with outside heaters. Can’t stress how much I highly recommend this spot.

Authentic Italian flavors in North County-SD. Amalfi Cucina in Oceanside provides a lively coastal atmosphere. The space has a casual yet upscale vibe with indoor seating and a patio that makes it perfect for a relaxed dinner near the beach. Mateo our server was friendly and attentive, and did a great job explaining the menu and making food and wine recommendations. We had the Norcina and Carbonara pasta dishes. Both were excellent but when we go back I would definitely order the Norcina (pasta, mushrooms with creamy truffle sauce). If you’re in need of a hand made pasta and pizza you in for treat at Amalfi-Oceanside. 🍷 Cheers

I had one of my best dining experiences ever at the Oceanside location. There were 3 in our party, and one was a guest from out of town. We chose to sit on the outside patio as we found it a little quieter and there are plenty of gas lit torches to keep you comfortable if it is a cooler night in Oceanside. When seated, the staff made sure we were comfortable and attended to throughout our dinner. We found everything to be of excellent quality. From the complimentary bread served with olive oil-soaked lentils to the soups, entrees and desert (and even the very nice dinnerware), we found everything to be truly excellent. Besides the delicious food, the staff really stood out as being very welcoming and incredibly friendly and helpful in meal selection (our quest is Gluten Free). I never write reviews for restaurants, but felt I had to this time as the overall experience was exceptional.

We had a wonderful dinner there last night. The restaurant has a great atmosphere perfect for a shared dining experience. The seating was very comfortable and the tables were not stacked against each other. The acoustics were great, so you can carry on a conversation without having to raise your voice. The waitstaff could not have been nicer or more helpful. They were attentive without being intrusive. They let us sit for hours, never making us feel rushed. The menu was expansive, with their regular dishes on one menu and a second menu with their weekly specials. The food was delicious, nice sized servings, beautifully presented. Their desserts were excellent and subtly flavored. There is a public parking structure next door for easy parking. Overall it was a great evening, in no small part thanks to the dining experience.

We stopped by as we got into town - we were starving. No reservations and the place was packed! My group of 3 were able to sit at the bar with no wait. Yeah! The service was fantastic and the food was to die for! We loved it so much we went back again a few days later and sat outside. Our server that day was not the greatest, but everything else was so good! Highly recommend giving them a try!

We celebrated our anniversary here, and it was absolutely magical. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, elegant, and perfect for a special night out. The food? Incredible. Every dish was rich and cooked to perfection. As an unexpected and thoughtful touch, we were surprised with complimentary champagne to toast our evening. The food at this newly opened spot far outweighed our expectations. The pistachio salmon was a real highlight, but honestly everything that hit our table was demolished with the exception of our Mediterranea salad, which was a plate of beautiful greens but little to no dressing. Our server Emma was friendly and attentive and happily answered questions, made recommendations, and kept the drinks flowing. The owner treated us to a glass of chilled limoncello, which took us right back to Sorrento. Definitely worth the trek from Del Mar!

We went for pizza last Thursday night and were very pleased with the experience. The pizza was wonderful, as an Italian I appreciated the taste of good ingredients. Calab our waiter was excellent. Very polite and pleasant young man who did a really great job. He pleasant attitude and friendly smile made us feel welcome. Overall I give 5 stars for the entire experience as it really exceeded our expectation.

Emiliano is the owner, checked in on the food and made sure we were having a nice time. Genuine hands on owner that cares about his business and his passion for food. The entire staff was nice and friendly.

Our first visit to Amalfi was shortly before it closed for the remodeling, and we had an excellent experience then. We were excited to see it has opened and had another wonderful experience. Food was excellent, from the moment we entered until the time we left the staff were attentive and helpful. Our server, Stan, went above and beyond. Professional and friendly. And the gluten-free pizza: The Best Ever, and we’ve tried them just about everywhere in Oside. Regular pizza was also delicious as was the eggplant parm. We sat outside and it was a lovely evening, very nice ambiance. All around, excellent!

We made a reservation for 15. We were given a text confirmation the day of. When we arrived to the restaurant there was no reservation. Then one of the servers was serving what was supposed to be our food. He kept asking who ordered what and got angry that none of us ordered the food he had. He was so abrasive that it made our guest afraid. One of them took food that wasn’t hers in fear. The server finally realized her was at the wrong table and took the food including the food she had touched. He acted like he was walking back into the kitchen immediately did an about face and served the used food to the correct table. We paid $800 for the worst service any of us had ever experienced. This was our second time going and spending this kind of money. We do it once a year.
