Came here with some buddies during Memorial Day and had some brunch together. The spot is a throwback to the oldies. A large menu to choose from throughout the day. Customer service is outstanding, they were friendly, quick and helpful with my order. The food is delicious and was within our table in no more than 15 minutes for a party of three. Definitely returning and would recommend to my friends and family.

Pit Stop Diner is pretty good and not too bad at all. This is one of my favorite places to get a quick bite to eat. They also have the beer on the tap. The pastrami everything is super good at this place. Don't make the same mistake that I did......... There is hidden salsa and peppers right next to the drink machines Ok Bye

First time going here and I it was true what people have told me, the food is great. They have a big menu with lots of different foods and combos. The guy who took our order was very nice and was very outgoing. Looking from the outside one wouldn’t know that the place is huge inside and really nostalgic. 100’s of License plates from all over the country line the walls along with a 1962 car inside and also the old fashioned drive in movie speakers. It’s also the most affordable place that I’ve found in a long time and it’s great food.

This was my first visit and I was very pleased with the food and the service. Everyone as friendly and we were greeted as we approached the counter. It's a seat yourself environment so nothing crazy as you walk through the door, just head to the counter and order. The food came out hot and fresh. The portion sizes were more than enough to be full and grab a to-go box worth. The men's bathroom smelled and looked clean. Most restaurants miss the mark on either of those but this one did not. 10/10 would recommend!

The food was really good, though unfortunately my order was messed up. They were kind about it but it didn't quite seem like the people working were very well organized unfortunately. I would give it a second chance, however, as it was still quality food in the end and the staff was nice.

A casual breakfast and lunch spot in Western Oceanside. I would say it’s more of a casual Americana themed restaurant versus a diner, but still you will get filled with good size portions at a fair price. Inside is really large and there are many different seating options and giant sized tables with many chairs available. They also have an outdoor eating area. Parking is extremely easy. It’s located in a shopping center with plenty of free parking. You order at the counter, they give you a number, and then they bring the food to you. It is not a full service restaurant. The menu is not large, but it does have a lot of good options on it. I chose the Chili Cheese Omelette for my breakfast and thought it was really good. It was a decent sized portion and I honestly really liked it. I would recommend if you are in the area.

I give the restaurant 4.5 stars at least more than 4 stars. I believe this is the best burger in this area. The burger has great meat, cheese, and onion ling and those match BBQ sauce. There are many car decorations in the restaurant. Its interior has American mood and you can enjoy that when you are waiting. Taste over 100 mile! Boo Boo!

Ive been coming here for over 8 years. It was great when Larry use to be the owner. Since, its changed a couple times. We came about 3 years ago and the service was horrible. We tried to give it another shot and the first 2 times in the past month were great. Today we went with my dad, mom, and Grandma. They took my mom and grandmas plate to another table that came after us. When I went to the front to inquire about the plate they apologized and said it would be right out. About 20 mins later after watching them bring other tables food out and only 2 of our plates, I went back up. They told me they couldn't interfere with what the kitchen had going on. Even though it was their error you'd think they would have tried to get our plate out first. I work in customer service in the food industry and if we make an error we have to make the moment right first. I almost just wanted to ask for a refund so I decided to stand at the register till it was ready. Won't be returning here again.

I placed an order of a tuna sandwich and a double cheeseburger with 2 orders of fries on the phone. My dad liked 👍 the tuna, and my burger was okay. I'll ask for the burger to be cooked medium next time.

Great staff, loud and pretty atmosphere, mediocre food. I am a big fan of diners so when I was in the area for a different event I was excited to finally give this place a shot. Came in and it was like a wall of. Think Chuck E. Cheese level. Instead of getting served at the table there is a line and you order up front and get a card. Not a problem. The staff were absolutely great. I was having some trouble with my card and they didn't give me any impatience at all. The girl who delivered my food even interacted with my kids and was so cheerful even though she was obviously slammed. The food was less than what I normally expect from a diner. I got the avocado bacon burger. Bacon was fresh but avocado was not. It was dry and hard as if it was sliced the day before and kept in the chiller. The bacon was fine. The meat was hard. Wouldn't be surprised if the staff were just having to do their best with someone trying to cut costs in the ingredients department. My kids both got the hot dog combo. Neither of them were interested in it after a couple of bites and stuck to the fries. Not even with the promise of dessert. Do you know how rare it is to have a child Not want to eat a hot dog? They said the meat tasted bad and bargained with me to have an apple litter. Children chose an apple over a hot dog lol. I probably wouldn't go back but the ambiance was very pretty and they really dedicated to this theme. And the staff was very kind and cheerful.

Unfortunately we didn't have the best experience here. The greek omelette and the pancakes were good. We also ordered extra crispy hash browns with our 3 meals. They brought us all 3 hash browns that were under cooked and barely warm. To their credit they corrected the issue pretty fast. What really killed the experience was my wife finding a hair in her omelette.
