Fantastic. Basically Lucille's Smokehouse Bar-B-Que + Outback Steakhouse. Bread was moist, soft, buttery, and fresh. Butter didn't stick to fingers after wiping... Clean food. Pulled pork tender, juicy, umami; could've used a tad more seasoning. Forgot my sandwich pickle spear. When requesting hot sauce, they gave me the whole commercial-sized bottle of Tabasco. Mac and cheese a bit oily; flavorful and tender. Overall, my new favorite BBQ. Lucille's can't compare. Like Outback, but higher quality, same prices. 💯.
have been coming to texas roadhouse consistently for years and its awesome. a great value and the seasoning for the steaks are on another level! my favor cut is the 20oz bone in ribeye due to the flavor and tenderness but the prime rib is also phenomenal. the atmosphere is great with waiters dancing to footloose and celebrating birthdays by shouting yeehaw. just make sure to make a reservation.
Five stars without hesitation. The food is consistently amazing, and the service is always top-notch. The steaks and salads are sooooo good! Definitely the kind of place where I enthusiastically over-order appetizers (especially those rolls).
I placed a togo order from their website, super easy to use and so many amazing menu items to choose from check out was so quick and gave me an exact time my order would be ready. When I arrived yes it was right there waiting hot and ready.Unfortunatly the steak wasnt exactly what he ordered the rest of his meal perfect chili was hot not spicy delicious mouth watering dinner rolls fresh crisp salad and the strawberry topped cheesecake perfect. So when i called to let them know that only the steak wasnt correct manager Phil , (Oceanside,Ca location) was so great and quickly fixed our order and we will be able to order it again. Thanks Phil you made the experience go from a 8 to 10. We appreciate you and will continue to enjoy your restaurant.
I went to the oceanside texas roadhouse location this past friday, and had a really great experience. I usually love dining in regardless, but our server - Shea (or shay I don’t remember how to spell her name sorry), made this trip especially worth it for us. I asked for a to go cup for my drink I didn’t get to finish (no-alcoholic btw), she offered to make me a fresh one and a brand new sauce to take home for our blooming onion. This made the experience so much better. Really love this level of service. Will be coming back soon :) Thanks!
2026-0102: After along time trying to dine here—only to be deterred by the consistently massive dinner crowds—we finally tried a mid-afternoon visit between lunch and dinner. This strategy worked perfectly, and we were seated almost immediately. While the menu is concise, it is a haven for steak lovers. Every steak at our table was prepared to perfection. Combined with the attentive service and wonderful atmosphere, it was a fantastic dining experience. If you’re looking for a top-tier steak, this is the place to go—just try to time your visit to avoid the peak rush!
I came in for a ribeye and I just had to leave a review about the most amazing service I have had in awhile. I had the pleasure of having Olivia be my server and I must say that she was the most friendly, pleasant and professional person I have dealt with. Olivia made my dining experience exceptional like on another level exceptional. She treated me like I was in a fine restaurant. Olivia is the best!
After travelling the states for 3 weeks and being shocked by the lack of service provided and the expectation of tipping becoming the new norm, we had the best dining experience on our trip here! We were served by Tatiana who set the tone immediately upon arrival. Her service was welcoming, funny and wholesome. Hands down the best service we experienced on our whole trip. The atmosphere of the steakhouse was alive with birthday celebrations, and waiters line dancing. The food was made and presented as well as you'd expect from a local steakhouse. TLDR; the best dining experience we had on our trip to the states.
Love that Texas Roadhouse honored Veterans with a free meal voucher — such a thoughtful gesture. The service was great, the bread was amazing as always, and the food was absolutely delicious. Definitely a wonderful experience!
Texas Roadhouse serves some of the best Ribeye steak I’ve had in SoCal! Packed with incredible flavor and perfectly cooked every time. The ribs loaded with twice the meat you’ll find anywhere else, and the BBQ sauce absolutely rocks. Highly recommend.
My wife and I absolutely love Texas Roadhouse and every time we come down to Escondido or San Diego, we purposely plan a visit. Everyone know their rolls are the absolute best and my go to are always the chili and the ribs. When they say fall off the bones, they literally fall off the bones. Residing in central OC, we unfortunately don't have one exactly near us, so that's why we always plan it into our Escondido/SD Trips and it's worth it every time. Food continues to be amazing with service to match!!!
Very busy restaurant location with enough throughput to keep waiting times short. I really like the concept of being welcomed by a server, with the signature bread, cinnamon butter and peanuts already there. Very friendly staff without getting the feeling that it’s an obligation to do. Thanks to Christopher Anthony and the others. Great atmosphere!
Great Service Tonight. It seemed a little busy, but we still received great service. Tanner was our server and he paid attention to our order specific requests in a friendly manner. Our food came out hot and fresh. We also received a visit from the manager just checking in on us. The food tasted great the service was excellent and personal. Portions were a good size for the price. We have plenty of leftovers to eat tomorrow. We will definitely be back.
Texas Roadhouse may not be the best steakhouse in town but i love coming here whenever i crave for some ribeyes and their sangria margarita. Especially their buns, those are too die for. Lol Prices are cheap and you'll always end up satisfied.

Totally blown away by the delicious food and excellent service at this Texas Roadhouse. Our first time here and will definitely come back here again. Our server, Kelley is especially so awesome and friendly. Highly recommended to all.
First there and food was great. I had the 6oz steal medium rare and BBQ ribs. For sides I had the cesar salad and Mac & cheese. My son had the kids hot dogs with apple sauce and lemonade. We will definitely be going back
On a Beautiful California Sunny Day we went to our precious Texas Roadhouse! Food, atmosphere and service was amazing! Great Job for Genine our service!! Great Job on upselling and giving light to the appetizers! The only thing we do not is not like was the hostess! When we came in she appeared distracted and instead of welcoming us to the restaurant she asked us how can she help us? That was weird and her demeanor was also weird!
Texas Roadhouse is one of the pillars of steak dining in the states (you all know what the other one is, and sadly I live too far from any Longhorns to include them). Every visit is always a blast, though the wait times can be a bit daunting. A personal favorite is always the full slab of ribs, this time I went with the salmon though (to my disappointment, more on that later). They always bring you some sweet bread baked in store with cinnamon butter to spread, and will bring you more if you ask nicely. The classic blooming onion (called a Cactus Blossom here) comes with plenty of dipping sauce and is always fried to perfection; it's hard to not want a second one before the main entrees come out! Now... The salmon. Unfortunately most places I visit always make it very dry or crunchy or both; this was no exception. I like my salmon a tiny bit raw and very tender (the same way a steak should be!), so I will have to suggest you steer away from that entree unless you like it that way. Or perhaps next time I'll ask for it medium rare? Will update if that happens! The sides were still wonderful and of course the steak is always cooked and seasoned very well. My friend grabbed another lemonade flavor and had zero complaints.

I love their rolls, their cinnamon honey butter goes well with it. I got the Country Veg plate & chose 4 items, chili, baked potato, sweet potato & green beans. The green beans tasted like greens but without the greens, I like greens but not their green beans. I wish they would of had baked beans to choose from. Food was great as always. Steak was cooked to perfection. Only issue I had was that this location does not honor military discounts. Went out on Halloween looking for somewhere not to busy and this worked. Enjoyed our salads, potatoes, ribs and steak.
Guests are asked to stand on a number while they wait for their table, but the "numbers" are directly in front of the bread and butter so the servers are constantly reaching in front or around the guests to get the bread and butter. It's very bizarre. Bread and butter is always amazing. Entrees were good. Server didn't check on us after we got our food, and then dropped the check without offering dessert- and we always get dessert. It was a strange experience and a bit of a bummer.

Asked for grilled onions on a steak, was brought a plate of grilled mushrooms. They said they'd correct it, was brought this pile of mostly raw onions. The server tossed the plate on the table and rushed away, calling "enjoy" over her shoulder. She was obviously careless how unacceptable this was. Not impressed.
The salmon was great! But the ribs I got (full rack) were way too dry! Like it was already precooked and they just reheated it back up before serving it to me! Never again. Next time go to AppleBees for ribs, way better in terms of cooked to order.
