Service is great!
Love to come here and eat and show my support to my brother and his wife who are the owners. Great restaurant, good people work there. It has that nice small beach community feel to it. Great place to hang out, have a drink or enjoy a delicious dinner. Good menu options that are really done well.
The staff is amazing and friendly. After the second time I went I felt like Norm from cheers. I left an expensive pair of sunglasses one night and thought they were gone, but when I went back, they had them for me and the bartender from the night before , was working as a waitress that day noticed me and came over and made sure I got them back. The food is amazing. I’ve had tri-tip and ribs that fell off the bone like they were slow cooked. Both were great even the sides were 10/10. Something simple as baked beans tasted so good. I would come and just get a side of the baked beans. The menu has a huge variety. So if you’re not sure what you’re in the mood for this is a great place to go. Adding this place to my top restaurants in Ventura County list.
This was my first time coming here, and it was amazing! The food was delicious, and the owner was very friendly. We ordered the wings and the chicken sandwich from their happy hour menu. The wings were cooked perfectly, and the chicken sandwich with curly fries were well-seasoned and crispy. We will be coming here more often.

I highly recommend coming in Monday or Tuesday for happy hour food and drinks, they have a small menu for happy hour but it’s delicious, reasonably priced, big portions make it a go to for happy hour and date night spot within half a block from beach/harbor walk. Great and friendly atmosphere with friendly staff.
Monday and Tuesday nights are the best for me. They offer a limited menu, all items less than $10. I usually get the hamburger, but my friend got the chicken sandwich and loved it. I am getting that next Monday. The owner, Jim, is awesome. It is fun when hid son it daughter are the wait staff. They are sweet polite kids working for tips. I don't know if you ever heard of Teresa Russell, but on occasion she plays guitar and sings there. She is the best guitarist I have ever heard. You can't go wrong.

The server was very kind and responsive. For an appetizer, we had the rib tips. It was a very large portion of absolutely delicious, tender rib meat. I will definitely get this again. It is a meal in itself. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs for the main course. I am picky when it comes to meatballs. It seems many places put too much of something in the meatballs. Not here! The meatballs were probably the best meatballs I have ever had. Finally, if you really want an amazing experience, leave room for the bread pudding. There is plenty to share and it truly is a delight. It is something you have to try. The Strand Bar & Grill is a fantastic place to go and relax and enjoy an amazing dinner.

The house salad was fresh and wonderful! The Lasagna was very good and the Old Fashions made a good pairing!
We went here twice on our little vacation and it was great! We loved the food and our bartender (Clark? Sorry we can’t remember if that’s his name) was really awesome! Keep it up !

6/26/24 first time here, found this place on Google Maps. Came here with friends, we had dinner. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Service was really good and friendly. I had the linguini and clams, it was good. Others has eggplant parmesan - (they liked it) and another had fish n chips - (another good dish). The salads that came with the meals were a good portion. This place has a cool, fun and nice vibe. The bar area looked chill... I would certainly return if i get the chance.

It was awesome. Everything was wonderful! I worked at quincy Street 30 years ago and have see it change hands over the years. John and Linda Champias, we were close to and I have to say, the new additions to the menu are good. A wonderful addition and I love that some things have stayed the same. I seroiusly recommend this place.

Gotta go for the band night, awesome dances and people, great waiters/waitress to help with all the basics leave a good tip and try the appetizers $$so good for the price you get more then you paid for, instantly the table is filled with large all the filled to brim drinks and dinner you have to probably box when your half done your convenient after party and dinning by the beach

Went for brunch on Sunday and it was not good. There were shells in the omelet and the eggs Benedict was overcooked with a terrible hollandaise sauce. The bloody mary and mimosa was great.

I ordered the fish and chips earlier tonight and it didn’t taste good, I barely ate any. Unfortunately, I seem to have a little food poisoning :( can’t recommend
