Stop by to get 17 plates for work and the 3 meat plate was delicious. Extremely quick for just popping in and ordering 17. Gave me a large kool-aid for my wait. Was refreshing. Out of the ribs, chicken and brisket i couldn't chose which one was the best since they were all great. Highly recommend.

Good experience service was great and everyone was friendly. Had the sausage and brisket plate with greens and Mac and cheese. Also had the steak at a different visit the next day with German chocolate cake and peach cobler for deserts with all of it being excellent. Will visit again when in town

I ran across this little place in my travels and decided to give it a whirl. Only a few tables here of you choose to dine in like I did. The staff was SUPER FRIENDLY. There is table service here, and you pay at the counter when done. I got the special of the day, "smoked ribeye." This was one of the best steaks I'd ever put in my mouth. Wow! They only do the once a month the owner said. What a rich smokey flavor with their twist on seasoning. This thing was so tender, it literally fell apart. I had potatoes salad and beans with a pickled jalapeño and onion slices. This meal was incredible. Their sweet tea is pretty sweet work a good tea flavor. I also got the peach cobbler with ice cream, definitely homemade, wow! If your ever in the area stop in and give them a shot. 2 thumbs up!!

You want good BBQ, well here it is with other dishes that are the real deal. Also, best Corn Bread I ever had.......must be moms secret receipt. If your in or near Odessa, you must go for a meal. Friendliest folks running the place too! Simply awesome.

MUST Remember to make a RESERVATION call for the magic SAUSAGE. Everything should dip with Ed’s Magic BBQ SAUCE. No kidding, dip everything with Ed’s Magic BBQ SAUCE will let you experience the BBQ in heaven. Fully smoke flavor are in either sausage, chicken, pulled pork, brisket, and rib. Highly recommend people who pass through Odessa visit here. Ed & Tom can compete with Franklin BBQ in Austin. Ed and Tom are so friendly to guests. Don't forget to speak with them.

I must say the Brisket and BBQ Chicken over a Spud was absolutely delicious. I intentionally didn't eat breakfast in anticipation . Ate half and I was full Ended up taking half home . Ed(owner) was there and provided great conversation and interaction with everyone who came and went. Marsha(Stewardess) showed prompt attention and recommended favorites and brought a cold drink(Peach Tea) to sip on while the food was being prepared. The beauty of a place like this is the awesome BBQ, quaint size of the location and the interactive customer service and of course Motown music in the background . The environment was very clean and that's not normal in a BBQ joint.

While in Odessa doing some shopping I Googled for BBQ and found Ed & Toms...it was a super good find! Not only was the food outstanding. Ed was personable and friendly, making my dining experience even better. The staff were all friendly, the place "just right". I had the rib plate and had to take one rib with me they were so big. Ed gave me some of the chopped beef and pulled pork to try; the whole place is a definite do-over. If you're in the area and looking for great food and a nice experience...head over to Ed and Toms; you will NOT be sorry!

A good little bbq shack on the Southside of Odessa. I entered upon. The tiny dining room me and my brother on a rainy day. We ordered the two meat plate, Brisket and Ribs, because what else is there! I want to taste the good stuff! It comes out about 10 mins later. Came Out with two sides and meat was already smothered in sauce. Well me personally I'd like to see that on the side because not everyone likes sauce on there Brisket. So I dig right into the ribs! The meat was falling off the bone, tender and good smoke flavor. Could have used a little more seasoning but pretty good. The Brisket was tender, probably a little overcooked cause it all came out chopped, but still good. Not the best Brisket I've ever had, but imagine your Uncle Ed cooking a Brisket in the backyard, well that's exactly how it tasted! It was a good meal! Portion. Was not big but not small, filing enough! The star was the Cornbread!@ fantastic!! I'm gonna give em a 3.5 out of 5 for this good backyard Brisket style bbq! Give em a try!

I went in today and got what you see here 2 brisket sandwiches 2 sides and a Cobbler. I paid $33.62 after tax. The owner said he didn’t charge me for the cobbler, but gave it to me anyways. According to the menu even with the cobbler there it shouldn’t have even been that much. I didn’t say anything I just wanted to get out of there, it was a bit loud. I get home and open everything to what you see here. Disappointed is all I can feel having read all the good reviews. It would have been worth the price if the sandwich had pickles/onions as well as if the sides had flavor and the Cobbler was a larger portion. Cobbler was delicious best thing out of it all even though the crust was a bit burnt.

Do not go there if you are offended by cussing , Loud upnageous talking , talking on phone to friends when he is supposed to be helping you. No sodas at all what kind of restaurant don't have Sodas. Prices are very high except for the brown bag special , it was good . If you go wear any team jersey other than Dallas and might get a discount.

I hate leaving bad reviews to small businesses because I know how much it hurts(more emotionally than financially). However, this was definitely not BBQ. I came today on 12/20/25 for a chopped brisket sandwich but I received something closer to a sloppy Jo. No smoke flavor or BBQ smell at all. $11.20 is overpriced for what I received and was left hungry. Im sorry but it was a complete waste of time and money. The service was good and the guy at the counter did a great job.

Gonna be honest, I wasn’t impressed at all. I have a platform with 100,000 followers and I try different foods in different places and do reviews. I got a three meat plate with a sweet tea and it rang me about $29 which was fine but when I tell you, I had three little slices of brisket the sausage I don’t know what it was, but it was not good at all. the rib was OK didn’t have much smoke flavor tasted like it was cooked in an oven. What got me was the side of potato salad was literally like taking a table and throwing a scoop on a plate!!! Not to mention, they gave my food to the wrong person that came in after me just wasn’t a very good experience. I literally went down the road to Johnny’s barbecue and I got a three meat plate loaded with Potato salad and greens onions, pickles, drink, and spent $24. I won’t be coming back here again.
