This place is spotless. The floors are clean enough to eat off of. Great service. Delicious food. I would rather pay extra knowing that my food is prepared fresh in such a clean restaurant

Fun sushi place in Starkey Ranch. The service was excellent and we loved the sushi. Prices are typical for this kind of specialty sushi, and it tasted great. Thankful to have a place like this close by. We will certainly return.

we love this place and order at least once every 2 weeks. but I beg of you, please STOP putting the cold sushi on top of hot items in the same bag. The hot food basically cooks the food above it and it makes the sushi warm and not the ideal temp. otherwise we love the hibachi and sushi choices. We really do enjoy the place!

My wife and I were visiting the Trinity/Odessa area this weekend and had a desire for sushi like we so often enjoy back in our home base in Jacksonville Florida. We looked for the closest sushi restaurant to the Hampton Inn and E Sushi Odessa was only 5 minutes away. When we entered, we saw a television on the wall that acted like an indoor digital billboard and showed some really tasty looking dishes. We were seated right away and the server was fast in bringing the clear soup and Holiday Roll just like at the Fancy Sushi restaurant on Collins Road in Orange Park where we have eaten several times. My wife chose the Squid salad, tuna roll and salmon roll while I chose the pork katsu. Very fresh and delicious! We topped off our meal with a green tea ice cream that was fried and topped with whipped cream and sprinkles. Everyone who works there were very pleasant and great care for us. I will remember this place and look forward to seeing them again. I even told Niki, the owner, that I was down here for our annual holiday party, to which she responded: "We'll see you next year!" I really love these people!

The server provided great service and suggested this great sushi roll for my liking! She was sweet and professional. The food I ordered came out very fast with great presentation. The restaurant is beautiful from inside and outside. They went out of their way for me, and although they never asked I want to go out of my way by adding this review for them. I’ve been looking for a new sushi spot, it’s safe to say I found one! This place is beautiful and the prices are actually very reasonable. The the decor, the atmosphere, the service, and of course the food was stellar. Highly recommend the visit, even if your a bit far, it’s worth the trip. Had the mango roll, it was 🍣 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥, and the Asian pear sake was a perfect addition.

We are sushi lovers and are always looking for a good spot. Their sushi was amazing and priced about the same as other sushi places. The atmosphere was great and service was good as well! They probably could have refilled the waters more frequently but honestly all the sushi rolls we got were so good we didn't mind. Better than dang good sushi in our opinion and similar to Bangkok sushi.

First, the chairs are so comfy! The food was delicious 😋. We got the Sweetheart Roll, Spice Tuna, Mexican Roll and Tokyo Roll. My son did not like the Tokyo Roll and they were kind enough to offer a replacement roll for him (we did not ask or complain). We declined but the fact that they offered won us over.

We are sushi lovers and are always looking for a good spot. Their sushi was amazing and priced about the same as other sushi places. The atmosphere was great and service was good as well! They probably could have refilled the waters more frequently but honestly all the sushi rolls we got were so good we didn't mind. Better than dang good sushi in our opinion and similar to Bangkok sushi.

4.5 rated excellent sushi bar w. high grade fresh sushi. Shrimp shumai appetizer was very tasty and didn't really need sauce. Tried the scallops and fried rice and the scallops were flawless! Fried rice had onions and was obviously cooked properly. Only item I didn't love was the fried rice but their white sushi rice was perfect. Not sure which oil they use for frying but not my cup of tea so I'll just be getting white rice from now on but I will return.

Tuna sushi amazing. Crab lagoons delicious and E17 was good. Nice atmosphere and good service.

I regret to share that our experience at E Sushi, for my Wife's birthday dinner, fell short of expectations. The Fried Shrimp for 7 pieces, priced at $17.99, lacked the desired crunch and flavor, possibly suggesting a frozen origin. Despite expressing our concerns to the waitress when she came back after a 20 min absence, the response indicated it was a normal occurrence. Although offered an alternative, the timing was unfortunate as we were at the end of our meal and ready to go, and we chose not to consume the Shrimp. Surprisingly, a 50% discount was extended for the Shrimp only, so $8.99, almost an insult as we ate nothing and they took the Shrimp away from us 6 still on the plate, this gesture left us hesitant about returning again with concerns of how still charging us 8.99, which is half, is worth it when a guest has issues with a dish and they remove it from your table, perhaps they don't value a guests experience, food quality and really need the money. Long John Silvers has better shrimp, maybe if the manager got off her phone at the sushi bar, she could make sure guests are happy, Happy Guests return. Also, keep in mind, our bill with Tip was still $110. The Sushi, while acceptable, didn't quite meet our flavor expectations. The Crab Rangoon, unfortunately, tasted bland, resembling fried wontons with a hint of cream cheese. Service seemed minimal, potentially influenced by the manager's consistent phone use, even at the payment register where guests took a back seat. For those considering E Sushi, I wish you well, but I recommend approaching with lowered expectations. The pricing seemed high for the overall experience, and nearby alternatives may offer better value and fresher tasting food. I hope the restaurant addresses these concerns to enhance both service and food quality in the future. We would not return, even if we were paid. E Sushi gets an D- and hopefully they didn't reheat those Shrimp and serv to the next victim, I mean guest.

They need to learn how to package their food to go! I literally threw out this plate of sushi because everything tasted the same. If you want to consider yourself a good restaurant you should learn how to package your roles separately so your customers can actually enjoy the sushi that you are making. Consumers please just go to Publix and order your sushi don’t waste your time. I want a refund of my $50.

We were the third table in, took nearly 20 minutes to get a glass of water. Sushi did not taste right at all-Fish was not good. Neither was the rice also. server messed up order. Will be taking parasite pills this week after that dinner and will never return.

I myself have tried this restaurant three times. The first two individual times with a friend. And I left both times, not quite satisfied with the food but due to being recommended by many in the neighborhood we live in and the proximity to our house. I thought why not, let me take my family for this one special occasion. Maybe we'll just order different items off the menu. I have to say we were all very disappointed in the service and I lament that I took my family there. We did go during dinner time. However, we seem to have arrived before the rush came through. The waitress was not friendly. Not attentive. In fact she even removed one of the soups from the table because my son was undecided of what he wanted to order when she came to take our order. We never received the ginger salad. Maybe it's not a thing of every day? The first two times I've gone they did serve it. She also forgot many things. (Re-fill drinks, to place two food orders) After serving our food... she just never returned to our table to check in on us. Not even with our check. We had to get her attention after waiting for a while. We eventually all got up and we paid up front. The lady at the front didn't even say thank you when we paid. It was just a bad time from beginning to end. Food was fine but the prices were high. One of the orders we placed was hibachi shrimp. I say it's high- you mostly get grilled onions on your dish. Very disappointing all around unfortunately. I don't see us returning.

Extremely small rolls and I was shorted two pieces of salmon. Bangkok sushi, up the road gives you way way more fish. The eel rolls were cold and fell apart when I tried eating them. I would rate Publix sushi higher... Three rolls crammed into this little box....

This is the worst Japanese food I have ever eaten. I couldn't even finish the katsu and ended up feeding it to my dog. The sushi seamed to have cheap fish on it, and the tempura was sloppily made. I will never eat here again.

First of all why put someone at the front door that can NOT understand English. She had to go get someone to help me. The clear soup is absolutely the most horrible thing I have ever ingested.

Unfortunately this place went down a hill. Quality and freshness just vanished. After giving this place multiple second chances will not be order here ever again as I simply not sure about the ingredients they are using. Last order ended up in trash. Feels like sushi from 7Eleven.

Update: when I went and looked at the receipt, they told me they lost my ticket completely which was the problem but some how still knew how much I had put as the tip online and added it to the bill without even telling me… I eat here all the time and the food is great. My gripe is this is the THIRD time I’ve ordered online through the website for pickup and I’ve shown up and my food was never even made or a ticket created even though I have a confirmation email. Today for example I showed up 40 minutes pasts when it was supposed to be ready as I was getting my wife her dinner first, and I go inside and they know absolutely nothing about my order. Then the girls working the counter just acted oblivious and played it off as it’s nothing and also I STILL had to pay full price for the meal. No manager on schedule nothing to do about it. Won’t be coming back

The sushi was wet… like it formed a puddle in the container. Tasted like it was not fresh and very very overly fishy. Even the salmon. We had high hopes my son likes it but he will eat anything. The restaurant itself is a nice atmosphere but it felt also slightly dirty. Disappointed for sure.
