Ricky's House of Pizza

I ordered The Don and the Cali Ceasar salad. My 4 year old picked off the tomatoes but loved everything else. We will be back. I wanted to mention how clean this restaurant was. We made a trip to the restroom while waiting and the bathroom was super nice. Great all around. Thank you

So long story short, Ricky's pizzaria is an awesome place to eat. Service A+++/ pizza A++++. My wife has Celiac Disease and cannot consume gluten what so ever. She raves up and down that his gluten free pizza is the best on the Central Coast.and she's tried pretty much all of them. If you have a gluten sensitivity this is the pizza joint for you. Keep up the good work rick.

This place is absolutely amazing!! I ordered a pizza and unfortunately it was delivered wrong. there must have been some miscommunication on my end possibly. When I called the place to explain this I spoke to the manager Bryant (I think that was his name) who was absolutely the sweetest and kindest person. He didn’t hesitate at all and told me he would send me a new order as soon as possible he continued to apologize and was so sincere!! When they came to deliver my pizza they gave me a bigger pizza and a salad on the side and said they apologized again! I wasn’t expecting all the extra stuff that they gave me I really wasn’t but if there is one thing I can say is I am so satisfied with their service there and it’s not because of them delivering me another pizza and extra stuff it’s because of the manager or supervisor who helped me and was so kind hearted and understanding. that is the definition of customer service! And I will continue to go back! ❤️

The owner was the only one there and he was very patient with us while we waited for our friend. For their special, there was a large pizza with 3 toppings of your choice (and 4 drinks for free) for 24 bucks! He even let us choose 6 toppings (3 on each side) so my friends and I didn't have to fight over toppings. While the pizza took awhile to bake, it was well worth the wait! Some of the best pizza I've had for a very long time, and I'm enjoying the leftovers for breakfast right now! Amazing crust ( I don't like crust ) and the toppings go under the cheese so they don't fall off everywhere.

I love this place. I have been coming here for years and have never once been disappointed. The pizza is absolutely delicious and the staff is always friendly. Can't say enough good things and I think everyone should try this pizza. You won't regret it.

Been eating Ricky's for years. It is kind of pricey so it's a treat yourself kind of place for me. Ricky's is a little different in that their base crust is pretty deep, light on sauce, and generously topped, but with a mix of cheeses that is more solid than melty. I think the crust is divine, but I'm a crust person and a fan of deep dish. If you like crunchier pizza this probably won't be your favorite, but it's good and unique and worth a try if you're tired of chain pizza. I've also always gotten good service.

My family and I love Ricky’s pizza staff and the new owners (The Silva Family)!! They have made nice changes to the inside so far and can’t wait to see what other changes are to come!! We love the pizza and salad and eat here often!! If you haven’t been to Rickey’s I recommend it!! They even have a personal size pizza if you want to stop in for lunch or dinner for 1!!

I walked in and was gifted with the faintest smell of pizza in the oven and subs on the grill. Immediately, I was welcomed by both nostalgia, and a sense of wonder and optimism I had not been acquainted with in years. I walked through the store, taking in the wall decorations and lights and weirdly felt at home in a place I had never been too. I ordered my usual, small cheese pizza with grilled chicken, as well as a root beer. I was so surprised by how nice and devoted the staff looked. Each member looked dedicated to not only their craft, but to giving each and every guest the best possible experience. My order came out after what felt like just a couple of minutes, and I took it with a bit of excitement I hadn't ever felt before at a routine pizza joint. But nothing I felt compared to the emotions of my first slice. As I took the bite, I was transported to a world of my own. The burst of flavor not only was delicious, but it took me to a state of bliss, and made me forget all my troubles and errands. I am not a religious person, but this is the closest I have felt to ever having faith. The meal was a short one, but it was an amazing one. I left Ricky's feeling like a new person, with new goals, new emotions, and most importantly a new outlook on life. I called many members of my family whom I had not talked too in several months, and I had one of my best sleeps in recent memory. I always like to say thank you to a staff member when I leave a restaurant, but this was the first time in a very long time that I truly, and sincerely, meant it.

Great pizza! Wonderful tender crust, ample toppings, good quality cheese with attentive baker. Not thin crust, not really thick crust, but great flavor and texture. We can't wait to return, may drive from Bakersfield just to get good, real pizza!

We've gone here a few times now, and the quality never misses. We've only ever had the Caprese pizza, and it is amazing. One of these days we'll branch out and try something new, but I'm certain their other options are just as incredible.

Nice little pizza spot. I've always gotten take out but they do have a small dining room for dine in. The pizzas are really good but the salads are amazing and totally huge. A pizza, salad, and wings will def feed a family of 4

Ordered the Ricky deluxe and the party poppers. Pizza was very good, big size 16 inch, plenty of toppings, crispy, flaky, buttery crust, thick and soft throughout, light on the sauce but thats my opinion. The party poppers were a disappointment see the pictures, flavor was just ok nothing special, and 5 for 13.99$ definitely left me wanting better. Their pizza is not typical pizza, read the description, thick crust means thick crust and that’s what you will get, enjoyed it will try it again.

Pizza was very good, big size 16 inch, plenty of toppings, crispy, flaky, buttery crust, thick and soft throughout, light on the sauce but thats my opinion. The party poppers were a disappointment see the pictures, flavor was just ok nothing special, and 5 for 13.99$ definitely left me wanting better. Their pizza is not typical pizza, read the description, thick crust means thick crust and that’s what you will get, enjoyed it will try it again.

They make outstanding pizza, but, you certainly pay for it. We love the Rickys deluxe pizza but a medium (12") is over $20 out the door. When your kids love pizza and there are numerous medium size offerings for about $6 elsewhere we only visit here occasionally. If their prices were more reasonable Im am sure traffic would increase....

They make outstanding pizza, but, you certainly pay for it. We love the Rickys deluxe pizza but a medium (12") is over $20 out the door. When your kids love pizza and there are numerous medium size offerings for about $6 elsewhere we only visit here occasionally. If their prices were more reasonable Im am sure traffic would increase....

I got a medium pepperoni on a Sunday night. I'm not sure I got the same pizza as the others on here did. It's a simple pizza taste at a high end price. I liked it the same way I like high school cafeteria pizza. The crust is good and it's semi deep dish so that was a plus. I saw some thin slices of pepperoni, but there wasn't enough of it to taste it. Maybe locals all use coupons?

Staff is great, really friendly and if you're dining in it's a cozy setting. For me the pizza is a bit doughy though. I also prefer a little more sauce and I like my toppings ABOVE the cheese. Ricky's places the toppings on first and then covers with cheese. It's all personal preference here. My wife really likes it, my daughter and I prefer toppings on top of the cheese (you know they call it "toppings" for a reason). Minor complaints though as overall it's a really good pizza place. Also it's locally owned and that's a big deal to me. I hate chain pizza.

Got a large pizza… my fiancée went to pick it up last night and there was crusty dough on the bottom of the box. Should have been a giveaway… the toppings were unevenly distributed and the pizza was soggy … there was too much cheese on the pizza. I hate leaving poor reviews but I have to be honest. My fiancée wouldn’t have tipped $10 if we realized it was like this. Over priced.
