Very clean and fast service. The restrooms are clean as well. Thank goodness.

Even with a line extending out far, I was able to get in and out in 10 mins.

If you like strong coffee or tea, this is the place in town to get it! Friendly staff, clean shop and restroom. Lot's of sugary pastries to choose from. Stop in and meet the locals doing business over coffee.

Great service and yummy coffee! Its located in the very nice downtown area of Orinda. The walk to BART is about 3 minutes.

Event though it gets busy, baristas are good and the location is clean. New warm breakfast sandwiches with a coffee is pretty good combo.

I always loving going in here, the staff is always super friendly and there is always this one barista named Mia who always has a smile on her face and makes my day a little brighter.

The ice drinks here are amazing, too.

The food is exactly what you would expect. Okay bakery items, decent toasterwave stuff. The staff are helpful, the shop is full of older guys in the morning and people taking meetings after 9am.

This is one of the better Peet's shops. All the usual great coffee and treats within a very comfortable cafe setting. The comfy leather chairs are perfect for reading a newspaper and catching up on emails.

It's a Peet's, if you've seen one you've seen them all. Really big fan of their Black Tie drink.

If you want great coffee, this is the place. Less busy than the Starbucks down the block. Peets always has decaf brewed or can have it ready in minutes. Asking for decaf at the other mentioned establishment often requires a very long wait.

Good food and coffee but the staff is so busy goofing and flirting with each other they tend to lose track of your orders. So you have to keep an eye on them.

So, it is Peet's nothing bad there but I went outside to see Peets trash everywhere, the public garbage cans piled high overflowing onto the street, crime in the AM lock your stuff up and out of sight

The remodel last year stripped the character out of place and killed any reason hang out longer than to pickup your order!

Nice Peets with fast and friendly service. The reason for 3 rather than four stars, this was the first time during covid-19 I've been served the display pastry. Instead of selecting a fresh prepackaged pastry, they gave me the one on top in the display case.

It took them 14 minutes to get me a Cappuccino that was more like a latte. However, if you order online, and pickup, I can see that's where the business is really focused. At least 6 people walked in and walked out with their orders before the 6 of us waiting around for our orders were served. The people working there were really nice, though. You could tell they were happy to be there.

I wasn't going to comment on anything here it's a nice spot, service is great etc. But man, there are an awful amount of bugs flying around landing on us and others all around the seating area. I couldn't really relax. They could use an exterminator or something... There are no bugs in other businesses or outside.

Coffee and patsy was great,, but at the counter service is very unwelcoming.. Should learn how to greet customers and give proper service which we are deserve as a customer…

I’ve ordered iced lattes from different Peet’s shops before and it was never bad like this so I feel like whoever prepared it, burnt some part of it.

The order was totally wrong and lukewarm. Wrong cup with no whipping cream on top.

Guess he should start with entry level of duties before he deals with longtime loyal customers. Negative experience like thus is why I am glad there is a Starbucks else where. Guess I need to drive a little more to Starbucks.

Since it was too late to order anything caffinated, I ordered a DECAF iced latte and emphasized on the word DECAF at least a couple of times while ordering. When the drink became ready, I asked the barista if the drink was indeed de-caffinated! She hesitated a bit - I think realizing that she had made a mistake -, but rather than admitting to her mistake and then making the requested drink, she lied and told me that it was indeed a decaf drink. Her mistake cost me a night of sleeplessness, ruining my Friday for sure. The same employee, a month ago, asked me if I needed my change back, after I handed her a bill for the pastery that I had purchased. Customer service is definitely not nearly at the level that it used to be at Peet's, and I am very disappointed!

I'm a long time customer of Orinda Peet's, but I won't be coming back until the flea and fly infestation is completely remedied. The shop needs to be much cleaner, windows, pastry case etc. However, The workers are very friendly and efficient .
