Our first visit to Downtown Orlando. We had walked round the lake and were looking for somewhere for a light lunch before moving on. We walked past this restaurant and it did look closed but after checking on previous reviews and opening times we decided to give it a go. We sat outside under cover and ordered a salad each. Both were delicious and just right for a light lunch. I had the Greek salad and although it wasn’t what a Greek salad is like in Greece I thought the extra ingredients made it a nice stand alone dish.
I have been watching the carbs lately. So, I ordered the Greek Salad and added Shrimp. I also had 3 meatball appetizer. The salad rocked! I had the trio of vinegarette House, Basil and creamy lemon. I really only needed the Basil and creamy lemon. The meatballs were tasty just could have been warmer when served. I was enjoying my salad I didn't bother to send it back for a warm up. I have had their pizza and it's good choice. If you're in Italian mood Anthony's is recommended.
We recently visited this pizza restaurant, and it was amazing! The pizza was absolutely delicious — fresh, cheesy, and full of flavor. The service was spectacular; everyone was friendly and attentive. The desserts were delicious too, and the drinks were perfect. I really enjoyed my experience and will definitely come back soon!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Brigette is awesome! Antony’s Pizza in Thornton Park is easily one of the best pizza spots in Orlando! The atmosphere is relaxed but still has that lively neighborhood energy, perfect for grabbing a bite with friends or family. The pizza comes out hot, fresh, and full of flavor — with that perfect balance of crispy crust, rich sauce, and melted cheese. You can tell everything is made with care, from the fresh ingredients to the perfectly seasoned toppings. The staff is friendly, attentive, and make you feel welcome the moment you walk in. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing a quick slice to go, Antony’s never disappoints. If you’re in the Thornton Park area and craving authentic, delicious pizza, this place is a must-try!
Anthony's has got some great pizza; they have a large selection of pizzas, pasta and more. Seating is a bit limited as they don't have much indoor seating. However, sitting outdoors in nice weather was a great vibe. Location is great since it is right next to Lake Eola, would def recommend coming after visiting the market on Sunday's.
Stopped by for a quick visit with friends. We enjoyed the outside seating and snacks and drinks. I tried a "Bloody Beer" for the first time. Basically a Bloody Mary made with beer instead of vodka. It was quite refreshing.
Great food and drinks here!! Had the upside down pizza-- easily one of the best pizzas I've had! We were also very impressed by how good the drinks were -- I highly recommend their manhattan! Definitely recommend!
The garlic knots w cheese appetizer is a must , food is excellent , some of the best Italian i have had , had had several dishes her all great ,nice relax atmosphere , outside seating or indoor
Best Pizza in the World. Or at least its my favorite. Italians may say its too much. I lived in Italy, all over, for 2.5 months, and have been abroad for 4+ years. This Anthony's is my favorite. Just a pepperoni is all you need in life.
AMAZING!!! I can not begin to describe this place. I felt better when I left than when I went in. The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff is fabulous. My son picked to eat here and it is one of the best decisions he has ever made. We had the garlic knots and meat pizza. Arrived to the table quickly and was hot n fresh. It has been along time since I have been to a restaurant and felt appreciated and where they paid attention to us. My server was Olivia. Talk about spectacular this girl is it. Make sure you ask for her! Olivia has a wonderful attitude beautiful smile and never let our glass get empty ( I tried). When I am back I the area I will definitely return without hesitation. Thankyou to all that served me today you are wonderful! Bless you all. This place rocks! Olivia keep the great attitude and smile!

What a great find for a quick pizza and salad for lunch. The up side down pizza was yummy and cooked to perfection. Wife was surprised how good and fresh her salad was which had goat cheese, apples, grapes, cranberries and pecans. Highly recommend 👌 👍.

I stayed in downtown Orlando and needed something satisfying to eat. I looked up Anthony's menu and went for the Turkey Pesto Panini. Unfortunately, it wasn't on the menu for Sunday brunch. But with the above and beyond customer service, Magic happened in Orlando. The cashier said I could get you the same thing in as a pizza. This pizza was everything I needed. Turkey Pesto Pizza on a thin semi crisp crust. This should be a new addition to the menu, in my opinion. The vendu has 4 different seating area to chose from, complete indoor dining, open patio with TVs, the Bar, and streetside seating to enjoy the city's downtown culture.
Me and the lady are visiting family down here, and we’re coming from NJ the pizza capital of the world. This is honestly some of the best pizza I have had ever, it is so hard to believe this is in Florida. Keep doing what you’re doing, we will absolutely be back next time we’re in Orlando!
First time eating here and we left full and happy! 🍕 My boss and I were working across the street around lunchtime and the smell just invited us right in. I got the baked ziti with meat sauce and the portion was perfect for lunch. My boss got the buffalo chicken 14" pizza and loved it. I will be returning at night to see what the atmosphere is like. Can't wait!
I really enjoy everything about my experience here. Loved the ziti pasta with garlic knots. Also ordered a side caesar with some pineapple and spiced rum. It was all so beautiful, especially the pasta dish. The cheese! The noodles! The mouth watering buttery garlic knots. The crunchy romaine lettuce with just the right amount of dressing. Fresh parmaesan. Wish I lived around here, I'd want to try more on the menu for sure.
Well well well what I can told you about it we went on a special occasion and let me told you we love it thanks to Storm for such a great experience the food was amazing Pizza burgers and pasta great location and good vibes Food that we order Upside down pizza 10/10 Brunch burger 9/10 Pepperoni pizza 9/10 Burger pizza 8/10 BBQ wings 10/10 Chicken Alfredo pasta 9/10 Cheesecake 10/10
Just a great spot! I’ve been for dinner a few times, but it’s been a while so my friend and I decided to meet up here for lunch during the week (think work lunch hour). I got there first and the server was so amazing and made sure to get our order in asap to make sure we had plenty of time. Luckily my friend sent me her order so this was easy to do. I got the lunch fettuccini alfredo add chicken, which came with 2 garlic knots! It was the right amount of food and so tasty! The area is also great and parking isn’t too tough with all the lots and street parking around. We will absolutely be back!
If you love rock'n'roll music, Italian food like a good pizza, with good quality ingredients or a delectable plate of Italian pasta served with roasted chicken (which was absolutely perfect) then you cannot miss this place which is definitely a ten for me🙏🏻. There are plenty of starters and other entrees which look delicious especially with parmegiano cheese and fresh products. We tested the mozzarella sticks and it was very good . Besides, Olivia was very attentive to our requests and kept an eye on our meal which was very much appreciated. In a nutshell don't miss this place if you're in Thornton Park ❤️🙏🏻🇺🇲 we will come back!
Dinner was amazing. My partner and I ordered two amazing red Sangrias during there happy hour Monday’s. For dinner we ordered the Baked Ziti and Spaghetti with Meat sauce. Both were very delicious and made with love. Finally we ordered the Chocolate Mousse. OMG!!!! We were both in heaven. The restaurant manager and Paulette our server were both amazing. If you have any questions or need further assistance. They will definitely help you with a smile. Thank you for assisting us. We will be back very soon.
Five-Star Review for Anthony’s Pizzeria and Restaurant I recently dined at Anthony’s Pizzeria and Restaurant, and it was a truly amazing experience! I started with the house salad topped with their vinaigrette, and it was absolutely delightful—fresh, crisp, and bursting with flavor. We also tried the cheese sticks, now called planks, which come in a serving of three. They were perfectly crunchy and absolutely delicious. For the main course, we shared the 12-inch Margherita pizza, and it was phenomenal. The real garlic and diced tomatoes added such a fresh and authentic flavor. Every bite was a testament to the quality of ingredients and care put into their food. The entire meal was delicious from start to finish, and I can’t wait to return. If you’re looking for a place with fantastic food and great service, Anthony’s is the spot! Highly recommend!
Anthony's is a phenomenal local gem tucked in a downtown location one block from lake Eola Park. And stashed away from the madness tourist trap of the rest of orlando. The food is EXCELLENT and the service is perfect. We had the stuffed mushroom, calamari, and pesto pizza with chicken. They were delicious. The crust was perfect and the cheese was super fresh. Don't miss this place.
I am not a person that will sign into Google just to give a review if that qualifies my review, Eryn and Brooklyn 100% sold me on this place, their pizza could have sold itself, add the service and the vibe, it’s an undiscovered and totally underrated Italian hangout in my opinion for a corner Mom and Pop shop and they have a bar and full Italian menu…
This place is on point! First of all, they have officially taken first place for best sangrias in central Florida. Red Sangria is amazing. If you are hungry grab the chicken skewers those were larger than expected and super delicious as well! This is a tiny indoor spot but they are worth the wait! Grab a seat at the bar if you don’t feel like waiting for a table. Even outdoor seating is a great spot. The service was just as great as the food and drinks. You won’t be disappointed.
This place is great. We both enjoyed our entrees and the atmosphere is nice.
Food was good. Service was phenomenal from our waitress Savannah.
Had a fantastic experience at Anthony's. The vegan, gluten-free pizza was delicious. What really made the evening, though, was our server, Olivia, who did a great job taking care of us. The bartender, Madi, poured perfect beers and was fantastic at crafting incredible cocktails (WE LOVE A SPICY MARG!) We'll definitely be back soon.
A coworker kept insisting we go for lunch so we did. Working downtown it was a short walk for lunch, love how they also have an outdoor patio where you can dine as well. My co worker order a salad which I was surprised how big the portion was compared to most places. I order a calzone, cheese was so fresh and the crust was in point. A little buffalo sauce instead of mariners sauce did also the trick. Going back for a Greek salad as they look good. Totally recommend this place, service was also great and fast.
Their brunch is fantastic and underrated. It runs weekends from 11am-3pm. My personal favorite is the Italian French toast and the home fries that come with some of the items are soooo good. They have a great cocktail menu to accompany it. i always receive perfect service from Storm and Madi and request one of them every time I am in. Me and my family come as often as we can.
This little jewel has phenomenal food! The mushroom crostinis are to die for, and the mushroom pasta is also yummy!! Outside dining is offered, but it was too hot and humid to take advantage of this. The inside is nice and cool, and the music when we were there was oldies - so we could sing along. A very pleasant dinner!!
I had to order 16 pizzas for a meeting at noon. All the employees from Anthony’s Thornton Park were all working together to have all of them ready and on time even though they open at 11am! Great service. Even the delivery guy worked hard to have the pizzas ready. And they were delicious! Everyone was very happy and I was very relieved that everything turned out great. Excellent service!
This is my first time eating at Anthony’s Thornton Park. Let’s start with the food that we ordered. For appetizer we started with the chicken skewers. The pesto sauce is delicious. The chicken was very juicy and also had a great flavor. For our entrees. I had the Lasagna. And my partner had the Carbonara. Both dishes were delicious and made with love. Their bread is to die for. And the Parmesan cheese they use is fresh. Unfortunately we did not take a picture because we were very very hungry and the food was extremely delicious. Secondly. Both my partner and I enjoyed there white sangria. And happy hour is all day on Mondays. Thirdly our waitress Jenny took care of us with open arms. Excellent excellent customer service. Even though it was our first time dining here. Jenny explained the menu and also gave us her personal favorites. I will definitely come back and see Jenny. In conclusion if you were looking for a great Italian restaurant. A place to take your date and or love one. Anthony’s Thornton Park is the place to go. I will definitely be back. Cheers all
I came in with my family tonight and everything was absolutely perfect. The food was amazing and the service that our waitress, Gracie, provided us with was phenomenal. We didn’t know what to get as it was our first time and she recommended the upside down pizza which has officially become my families favorite dish. Her energy and attitude made our experience a thousand times better. She was constantly checking on us and refilling our drinks and was super attentive and friendly. My grandmother loves ordering her own drinks but she has a hard time speaking so she takes a while to tell people her order. Gracie made sure to smile at her the whole time and make her feel comfortable, not rushing her at all and showcasing exemplar customer service. We also got the garlic knots with cheese and a greek salad to share between 5 of us and it was delicious! The knots were cooked perfectly and had just the right amount of flavor and the dressing on the salad was mouth watering. Thank you Gracie for being the best waitress we have ever had and making our first time at Anthony’s so memorable! I can’t wait to come back and enjoy a meal and spectacular service here.
Food was served hot and presented neatly. Server was very friendly and helpful. Who came out rather quickly and it was enjoyable.
This place is the best! My go to for pasta and pizza, the Hot Honey pizza and Chicken Marsala are both so delicious! They have a great happy hour. The staff is so great and are always cheerful and friendly!
anthony's is a staple for us every week! the food is always delicious and erin at the bar always makes sure we're taken care of!
This was our first time at Anthony’s and we loved it. The atmosphere was amazing and the staff were very friendly, especially our server Gracie who recommended the garlic knots and upside down pizza to us. Great service and fantastic recommendations, we will definitely be coming back to try more!
At this point, Anthony’s might as well forward our mail here. We’ve been here a bunch of times (in an embarrassingly short amount of time), and the food, drinks, and service have all been consistently excellent—something you just don’t find often. A true Thornton Park gem.
So we come here often for their pizza but we wanted to try the brunch. The food was delicious and the server Peyton was great. We dont like runny eggs and they worked with us to make sure we were happy. Highly recommend them for an relaxing brunch and any other meal. Mimosas were on point also.
Absolutely adore this place . Weve frequented more than once and each time is spectacular. As a former Long Islander finding real italian food in florida is about as easy as finding parking in Manhattan. Were in luck . The owner is extremely accomdating . The waitstaff is young but always professional. Able to bring doggo . Good energy . Recommend the fist sized garlic knots and any of the pasta dishes. My bf loves the deep dish pizza , the cheese pull is perfect . Would rate this place 10 stars if i could. Also preparing to head there for lunch. Lol
We each had a chicken dish, I the Chicken Parmesan and my husband the Chicken Palermo, with garlic knots. We shared the arugula goat cheese salad, which was really good. The staff to be very friendly and helpful. All of the food seemed really fresh and looked really pretty.
It was my family’s first time at Anthony’s - I got the mushroom truffle and it was to die for! Olivia was such a great server. Super sweet, welcoming, and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back!
Melody is and incredibly good bartender I come here especially just to hang out with her. She makes girls night my favorite night. Tuesdays is the best night to come out!!! The espresso martinis are to die for!!
Skyylar was awesome and my Hot Honey pizza was fantastic. The Espresso Martini was great. Wonderful outdoor seating as well.
I love eating here. The whole staff is wonderful and the food is always super great and consistent. They do a lot of fun specials so I never get sick of it. Sienna was a wonderful server last time I was in and anticipated my needs.
Hello I recently just went to anthony's with my niece who is wheel chair bound . Brooklyn and the whole staff took such great care of us. It was so easy to just have a nice meal and not worry about anything. The place is pretty accessible and it was perfect for us.
Overall a great restaurant! For the variety of dishes and the price point, it is well worth it! Savannah was my server and she was very attentive and accommodating, making the experience great!
I love coming to Anthony’s for their happy hour! The food is delicious, everything is made to order. Olivia is a wonderful server, she’s so attentive and friendly. My friends and I make this a weekly staple to come see the employees especially employees Olivia and Sienna!
This place was great ! Eryn did a fantastic job serving and bartending us ! Her drinks were delicious! She recommended me some vegetarian options that were AMAZING. Def will be back can’t wait !
First time visiting the restaurant, we loved it and will be back. Skyylar was our server and she was so nice, friendly, and funny. She made some great recommendations and was very attentive.
My son and I had limited time to eat before a show, so I called in advance to see if we could place an order (or get a pizza started for us) before we arrived to sit down and eat. While they stated normally they don’t, especially on a weekend, Savannah accommodated us. Not only was the pizza ready for us just a few moments after sitting down, but her service was impeccable. My son, a pizza connoisseur, believes this is a top 5 pizza in Central Florida, and though it was our first time trying it, I don’t disagree at all. Thank you so much for the food and friendly service, Savannah.
This place has always been my favorite pizza spot in Orlando! One of the few truly good Pizza’s we have here in Orlando. The atmosphere is great and waitresses like Brooklyn are attentive
First time coming here and I’m so sad I haven’t come here sooner! Food was sooo good! We got the Parmesan Truffle Fries, Ricotta Meatballs, Fried Mozzarella Planks, Chicken Parmesan Sandwich, and a Sicilian Cheese Pizza. Everything we had was amazing, no notes! Prices were super reasonable as well. Shoutout to Madi who was our server; she was super attentive and kind!
If excellence were a person, it would be Skyy. PERIOD. ✨ From the moment we sat down, Skyy floated over like a hospitality angel sent directly from the customer service heavens. The energy? Immaculate. The vibe? Unmatched. The attention to detail? Michelin-star level.

Great food, friendly service, little bit of a small parking lot, I do wish the single slices were cheaper but i would definitely come back again, prices regarding entrees are pretty reasonable for a more established Italian restaurant.
A small hidden gem we stumbled upon. The pasta was incredibly fresh, full of flavor, and the service was friendly and attentive. The garlic bread was absolutely amazing — crispy, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. My only critique is the pasta-to-sauce ratio. There was far too much Bolognese sauce for the amount of pasta, both in my dish and my husband's. We finished the pasta and still had quite a bit of sauce left on the plate. Other than that, it’s an excellent spot with great food and a cozy atmosphere. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Really solid experience! It was my first time coming here and I definitely wasn’t disappointed. We opted to sit inside because of the heat, but outside definitely seemed like it would be more enjoyable. Super generous portion and really good price.
Not bad. Great hangout spot. Food was ok. Not meant to be intimate italian food. But better than normal Bar food. The ambiance was nice, but I think lunch while watching football would be ideal here. Service was good.
More than your typical pizza joint. This local restaurant offers a variety of dishes. Really cool! The Margherita pizza was OK but not great in my opinion but I will be back to try some of their other offerings. They have a nice outdoor dining area and indoor tables as well. Very limited parking but street parking is available.
A well-balanced meal is a slice in both hands. 🍕 We've been ordering pizza from Anthony's in Thornton Park for a couple of years now because their crust is amazing, but this was our first time dining in, and we really enjoyed our overall experience. Good food and friendly service. 👍 We started with a couple of items from their happy hour menu: Crispy Fried Ravioli and Spinach & Artichoke Dip. The marinara dipping sauce for the ravioli was very well-balanced, with just enough sweetness to tone down the acid. It was so good. The Spinach dip was also delicious. It was so creamy and rich, and the flavor reminded us of broccoli and cheese soup. It was served with homemade Crostinis that didn't break when scooping the hearty dip. 🥖 We got 2 small pies that we had never ordered from there before. Our absolute favorite and our new go-to was the Upside Down Pizza (provolone cheese, pizza sauce, crushed red pepper, fresh chopped garlic, finished with basil, pamesan cheese, and olive oil). The contents were so well distributed that every bite was heavenly. The garlic was not bitter at all, The crushed red pepper provided the right amount of heat without overpowering the other flavors, and the basil gave it a notable freshness. Yum! We can't wait to eat this pizza again. 🍕🧀🧄🌶 Since we had never tried their pastas, we got the Lemon Herb Blackened Shrimp Pasta (white wine sauce) and the Sausage Primavera. The white wine and lemon combination was a little too tart for our palate, but we devoured the Sausage Primavera. It was creamy and well-seasoned, and the sausage complemented it perfectly. Each pasta came with 2 tasty garlic knots. 🍝 If you've never been to Anthony's, check them out during happy hour. They offer tasty, discounted appetizers everyday, but the drinks on special and the happy hour times change by day, so check out their website for more info on that. We went on a Monday and got yummy $5 sangrías! 🍷🍒 If you're just ordering take-out or delivery, there's a perk there, too. You get an Anthony's magnet with every order, and once you've collected 10, you get a free large cheese pizza. Free 🍕 = 😁 Make sure to order from the location in Thornton Park. We made the mistake of ordering from the one on Colonial that is not affiliated with them (we didn't know at the time), and we regretted it. 🤤 Don't just EATTHRUUS, eat and drink at Anthony's in Thornton Park. Follow us on Instagram @EatThruUs for more great eats and drinks.
Pizza is fantastic, my salad was delicious. Place was clean and airy. Parking lot was clean. My service was sub par... First my coworker asked for an antipasto salad. They do not call it that however instead of saying oh we call it the Classic Italian she was told they do not make it. Instead I had to let them know what it was. Then I ordered a slice to go. In stead of in a box it was placed on a paper plate in a paper bag. The cheese was mushed up to the paper bag and the grease leaked all over my clothes. When I realized how it was packaged I had to ask for a box and then was left wondering why I had to ASK in the first place. No apology was given either.... Customer service is rated higher than the food in my book. I will go back and recommend any place for ok food with fantastic great customer. But I won't go back for GREAT food with poor customer service.
Bartender was very friendly and made a great limoncello. Food was very good. Will definitely return.
A great place to get some pizza close by Lake Eola Park. Has outdoor seating that is pet friendly. When downtown its a can't miss.
This place has a wide variety of delicious Italian options! They have lots of yummy appetizers, including a huge Caprese salad which is super tasty, tons of creative pizza options, and lots of pasta entrees too. The baked ziti is awesome (could have more noodles though) and the mozzarella planks are also super good. The cocktail i had wasn't amazing but the service is friendly and attentive. I'll definitely be going back!

The foods are so delicious that I would love to come back there again on next time! Their service is excellent for me. ambiance is good cozy and nice old African song.
Good food, generous portions, friendly staff, adorable outdoor area and plenty of places to walk to after you eat!

The establishment offers a pleasant dining experience with a good atmosphere. However, parking is limited and may pose a challenge, so arriving early is advisable to ensure timely seating. Service was commendable and our server was attentive and courteous throughout the meal. Pricing was slightly above expectations, and one notable drawback was the handling of gluten-free options. While available, these items incur a significant surcharge that is neither listed on the menu nor proactively communicated by staff. This lack of transparency may be frustrating for guests with dietary restrictions. Taste was ok. Their wings (not gluten-free) looked very appetizing and big. Overall, it was a good experience.
The food was not good at all. I got cheese planks meatballs and an Italian hoagie. They were all mid at best.

What the heck Anthony’s?! We are regulars because our son loves the spaghetti and always asks for it on takeout nights. Tonight we picked up our meal, which we always order a side of broccoli. This is what we were given. 6 tiny pieces of broccoli ($1 per tiny broccoli!). It didn’t even cover the bottom of the container. I’m very disappointed- we usually share the side and this was barely enough for 1 person. Please don’t send out food like this and charge people $6 for it! Not in this economy!
The ambience of the restaurant is dull, very dark, and uninviting, I am referring to inside seating. It looks the the restaurant could also use some tidying up or more attention to cleanliness. There is bar and outside seating available as well. The food surprised me however. The portion sizes are large, the Gorgonzola salad was absolutely delectable. I added grilled chicken, the chicken was warm. The spaghetti and meatballs were tasty. The BBQ Hawaii pizza was just OK, nothing to rave about. It can use more barbecue sauce, they didn’t even put caramelized onions like the menu states and the chicken that is on there could be tastier. Our waiter was friendly and patient to our many questions. If you need a late night bite, and your options are low, give this place a try. Just don’t expect to be wowed by the appearance of the restaurants.
We’ve been coming here for years. One of our traditions during the holidays is to walk around Lake Eola and have dinner at Anthony’s. Like everything in Orlando, things are changing and not for the better. We got to Lake Eola and it was packed. I guess they’ve hired a company to do concerts on Sundays at the bandshell during December so park was packed and we couldn’t find parking so we skipped Lake Eola and went to dinner at Anthony’s. Took a few minutes to get sat at a table which was fine. They were out of calamari so we ordered cheese planks which only included 3. Wasn’t worth the price for 3 and they were mediocre- definitely not handmade. We were planning on getting a couple of slices of pizza like we always do, but they no longer sell pizza by the slice so I opted for eggolant parm and my husband had meatball parm. Both were mediocre. They also used to have a great seasonal old fashioned which was also gone so I had two glasses of the house Chianti which was the smallest pour I’ve ever seen. My husband had a regular old fashioned. I’m not sure if they have changed owners or what but this place has gone downhill. We won’t be back again. Mark another off the list.
All food was very bland. Garlic knots were really hard, felt like day old knots that were reheated. Calamari was so bland, and wet? Pizza wasnt terrible, but reminded me of mall pizza. Like I wouldn't get the pizza again on purpose, but if it was ordered for a party. I wouldn't be mad. Wings were good, very crispy. Chicken parm sub was very bland, if it wasn't for the sauce it wouldve been terrible. Overall I wouldnt come back, and im confused about the amount of 5 star ratings. Might be old reviews and the place has changed?

I paid $29 for the pizza, the Extravaganza in a deep-dish size, if you are a lover of pizza crust forget about this crust also it wasn't deep, definitely would not spend $30 on it again. The crust was overdone and almost burned and it was doughy in the middle, the cheese is quality and the sausage is good on the pizza as well.
Anthonys is a solid pizza joint. We have ordered from them for the last 2 years. Our regular order is delicious. However, we decided to venture out and try their Buffalo Chicken Pizza. That pizza was the saddest, unfavorable, and straight up plain pizza we have ever had. We will stick with our normal order from now on. Do not order their specialty pizzas.
I am absolutely shocked and disgusted by the experience I had with Anthony’s tonight, and honestly I’m still sitting here wondering how a place we order from constantly could treat loyal customers this poorly. We order Anthony’s all the time for delivery, like clockwork, and we spend a good amount of money there. You’d think after countless orders, tips, and never once causing an issue, they would show the slightest bit of customer care. Apparently not, because tonight proved that Anthony’s has no interest in basic hospitality, common sense, or even the tiniest ounce of goodwill. We placed our usual order, and like normal people who order frequently, we forgot one small thing: ranch. A completely minor, inexpensive, universally standard sauce that literally costs them nothing. So we called the store immediately after placing the order to ask politely if they could add one ranch cup. That is all. One tiny container of ranch dressing. Not a free pizza, not a discount, not anything unreasonable. Just ranch. Instead of a simple “sure thing” like any normal restaurant would do for regular customers, we were met with the most unnecessarily rude and robotic response imaginable. The manager on duty, Bridgette, informs us that she cannot add a ranch unless we give her our credit card over the phone so she can charge us $1.50. Let me say that again. They needed our card number, over the phone, for ONE dollar and fifty cents. For ranch. A condiment. Something most places toss in without a second thought for customer satisfaction. Bridgette made it sound like we were asking for gold bars and not a tiny plastic cup of dressing. The complete lack of flexibility or basic human understanding was honestly unbelievable. We weren’t some random first-time customer trying to get something for free. We have ordered from Anthony’s countless times, and this is how they treat loyalty. They couldn’t simply add a ranch to an already-paid order that was going out for delivery anyway. Instead they demanded we read off our credit card information like we were purchasing a luxury item. It felt petty, stingy, and frankly insulting. The fact that the manager herself dug her heels in over something so trivial speaks volumes about the culture there right now. Never in my life have I experienced a restaurant nickel-and-dime their customers this aggressively. It completely ruined the experience. It is absolutely ridiculous, borderline comical, and incredibly disappointing that a place we genuinely liked would rather risk losing loyal customers than just put a ranch in a bag. If that’s how Anthony’s is going to operate now, then they’ve made our choice very easy. There are plenty of restaurants in town that value their customers and understand the concept of hospitality. It’s sad that Anthony’s is no longer one of them. I hope someone higher up reads this because this is exactly how you lose regulars. All over one little ranch. Unbelievable.
Drove over an hour to get dinner here with a friend who is over 21 and wanted to have a drink. The rude waitress looked at his ID and immediately assumed it was a fake without checking its validity or asking for another persons opinion. After the manager came out we assured her that my friend was over 21 and even offered to show her a birth certificate but she still refused to serve him. Bring your passport or social security card if you want to get a drink here!
Our sever was sweet and very attentive. Unfortunately the food absolutely sucks. To the point where it’s clearly not sanitary. My son within 10-15 minutes of eating started puking. I immediately told the staff and apologized profusely. Ordered a salad to go for myself. They never gave me any utensils or dressing, so I ran back while by husband took care of our sick child. The old lady at the front proceeded to give me attitude that they “forgot” because they were “cleaning up my son’s mess”. Not something you want to say to a mother that’s dealing with a sick child. A child that was perfectly happy and healthy before they ate their food. Either way, Plenty of other places to eat. Skip the old lady and the awful food.
