i lovedddd it second time here and every bite was amazing. The sweet prawn was the star of the show for me, the hand roll with the sweet prawn was also sooooo good. I love the ambiance and how well the staff treats you. The miso soup at the end is so delicious and just what you need to finish off the meal. I love this place soooo much. 10/10

Absolutely top notch omakase - standing bar only, which is completely fine considering it’s only an hour. Honestly, only complaint is that it goes by too quickly. I wouldn’t hate if they created a longer experience one or two nights a week and added some seats for those specific seatings.

If you can, you must! This place is legit, great service and wonderful experience. Each bite curated just so and one of the better dining experiences in 2025. Great Sake selection and do not miss the MiSO! Not one bad bite the entire dinner. The chef was engaging and the staff super attentive. Get that reservation, drop loot, be happy!

Definitely a must-try for sushi lovers living in Florida. I can see why they are so highly rated and really enjoyed their Baller Set. Highlights of the night were definitely the Toro & Caviar, Shrimp & Eggs, OG Smash Temaki, and Unagi & Foie. I hear they are coming up with a new “omakase” set and am looking forward to returning and trying it out. Hopefully the new set has a temaki roll or two added so that I can try those next time.

Celebrated my birthday here and it was beyond amazing! The place is VERY small, 8 diners at a time, one hour time slot, and standing only. It is a super cool vibe every piece I had was so good and had fantastic flavors. I did feel the 1 hour time slot was a bit rushed. Hour and fifteen would be perfect. It is a bit pricey but I feel that the quality more than justifies the cost. HIGHLY recommend and will definitely be back here again!

My favorite omakase in Orlando!! 8 piece omakase for $45 (comes with miso soup). Gotta order the Madai, Blue Toro and Dynamic Temaki. The Matcha smore is the best dessert in Orlando, hands down. It is standing sushi bar and very intimate. It’s a simple restaurant with great food!

Just recently moved here and found Edoboy on Resy. What an amazing find. The customer service was top notch and the sushi was incredible, especially for the price. The toro was easily the best piece of the night. Buttery and perfectly balanced. I got a 12-piece in total, miso soup, and a beer, all under $110 with tip. Easily one of the best sushi experiences I’ve had for under $100. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Fun experience. Friendly staff. Good food. Yes, stand room only. Yes, you get exactly one hour. There parking lot in front of the place. Portion-wise, I think the everyday set itself is only enough if you are not too hungry. If you order 3 extra pieces (max allowed) and the dessert, then it should be about enough for an average stomach. My favorite piece today was the sweet shrimp (not torched).

Edoboy is an absolute gem. The food is more than excellent, it’s life changing. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu really. I recently moved away and miss it so much—now I always make a reservation here when I visit Orlando. Thank you for all of the wonderful experiences!

I can’t believe I have not reviewed my favorite sushi place yet. Whenever I’m in Florida I have to make a reservation here. I was even thinking about this place when I was eating omakase in Japan a few weeks ago!! I love EDOBOY so much RAAHH It has the flavor and care of a really good omakase without the pretentiousness or a hefty price tag. An order of 12 pieces will run you about $80 per person. It’s a standing sushi bar (no seats) and fits about 8 persons per seating, which is usually every hour from 4-9pm. Dress casually. The ambiance is very casual. Reservations are a necessity! No reservation, no seat. All of the sashimi quality is excellent. So fresh and generously sliced. But what sets EDOBOY apart from a typical nigiri experience, is how they craft every piece. The treatment of the fish and its accompaniments - whether it’s uni butter or flavored salt or foie gras - complement the sashimi so well. Every piece is incredibly flavorful and unique. Even the rice has a special sauce which makes it super umami. Since it’s a standing sushi bar and reservations are back-to-back, the time limit to eat is an hour. It’s essentially the amount of time the chef takes to make 12 pieces of sushi per person, so the limit to order is 12 pieces (not including soup or dessert). If time permits, they’ll let you order more nigiri. Don’t skip out on the soup or dessert by the way. The soup is beautifully made with fish collar and the dessert, typically a matcha smore, is made in house as well. Can’t wait to be back! (Hopefully soon) Pro tip: don’t know what to order? Check out their online menu with pics of each piece of nigiri

I thoroughly enjoyed the omakase standing sushi bar experience at Edoboy. I think what I enjoyed most was that I got to pick out all of my courses and then if there’s time at the end then you can add on more. All of the fish was fresh and delicious. Some of the best sushi, nigiri, and handrolls I’ve had. It moved at a fast pace. The matcha s’more was soo yummy and a great way to end. They had a banger playlist on while we were there, which was fun. Reservation required and I’d recommend you book when the reservations drop for your desired date as there are limited spots and it books out quickly. There is a parking lot. Recommend and would revisit!

Delicious sushi! I got the baller set which was very good and nice to try once, but I’ll probably just order from the regular menu in the future. It is standing room only and doesn’t feel crowded tho the place is quite small. The only thing I really didn’t care for was the 1 hour slot, I feel like it could be 1.5 hours and that might be better because it felt a bit rushed at the end when getting the last pieces, soup, and s’mores. I felt like I had to scarf my s’mores down quickly to get out on time. Overall, the place is great and I would come back again in the future!!

So to start, it took some effort to finally get this reservation, as they have very limited seating and only open reservations for one week at a time (and we can only do nights on the weekend) parking was plentiful, which can’t be said for most places on mills. So we showed up a few minutes early, but the kitchen was running a little behind so we started about 20 minutes late. This was ok because they offered drinks while we were waiting outside. Once inside we had a nice concierge experience. The decor was fairly minimalist and nice. We chose the chefs “baller” chefs tasting set. Each course was amazing, and we loved it. Some of the courses were of the best sushi we’ve had in a long time. We feel this venue is deserving of their bib gourmand status with Michelin. Service was excellent. Only downside is that I would prefer a pacing that is a little slower, maybe if they slowed it down to an hour and a half instead of one hour, it would work out much better. Currently it feels a little rushed. We do appreciate the intimate environment, and we don’t mind the standing aspect of it, as many excellent sushi venues in Tokyo are standing only. Overall, we recommend this restaurant, and we will be returning in the future.

This place is absolutely incredible. These are hands down the best sashimi I’ve ever had in my life. The fish literally melts in your mouth — it’s magical. I have no idea where they source their seafood, but it’s a mystery worth solving. The shrimp? Incredibly tender, like nothing I’ve ever tried before. You can even taste sashimi topped with black caviar and edible gold — pure luxury. Every bite was unforgettable.

Every bite was perfection. Pick what you’d like, or go with a set menu - I don’t think you can go wrong. I’d suggest that you take a look at the menu before you go - helps with the decision making. I chose 12 pieces and was really happy with all of them - highlights for me were the fatty tuna, torched salmon, and the unagi hand roll. Arrive on time for your reservation, and expect to be finished within the hour. Service was friendly, atmosphere was calm and light/wasygoing. The other guests were all smiling and enjoying their food too. Easy to converse (music was not too loud), and the hour flew by. Casual atmosphere. The miso soup at the end was so good y’all. Don’t skip it.

This is the best sushi I’ve ever had and one of the best meals I’ve ever had. I was able to snag a single person reservation after wanting to try this place for so long and the standing set up makes it comfortable for a solo date. The fish is noticeably fresh and high quality and so delicious. I don’t usually opt for hand rolls but the hand rolls here changed my mind, the akami-toro was so good I ordered a second one. I’m not normally crazy about miso soup either but again, theirs was the best I’ve ever had and the perfect ending to an amazing meal. I can’t wait to come back and try everything I didn’t get the first time. Half of the people in my time slot were regulars that come almost on a weekly basis and I truly understand why.

You crave omakase. But you don’t want to pay $300+ If you are okay with no fancy chairs/ceramics/sake pairing, then you come here. If you are lucky enough to make a reservation.

This is the highest quality sushi I’ve eaten in Orlando and its my #1 favorite place to eat. It’s a small, standing only, sushi bar with an hour to order about 10 bite sized dishes. You have to reserve on resy with parties of 2 max. Of the raw options I enjoy the fatty tuna best. Of the torched the pran w/ butter or kewpie. The torched options in general are crowd pleasers and i think the hand rolls are less commonly preferred (the smoke crab is my fav of those tho) and the miso soup is a highlight with delicious but subtle savory nuances over typical preparations (its quite salty tho).

A very unique experience, small, calming. A place to enjoy. I don't claim to be expect on sushi but the food was delicious. The rice was very tender, not overly sticky. Seaweed wrap very thin, crispy. The seafood fresh and tender. The scallops especially melted in my mouth. A consideration that I appreciated was that they offered you a wipe to clean your fingers between bites. The miso soup at the end was a very tasty seafood broth.

They’re the best at their craft! No comparison in Orlando hands down. Quality of the fish and ingredients are top-notch. Hard work shines bright here and we admire it! My husband and I have become regulars we just can’t get enough. 🤤 Super friendly staff Christine is so helpful explaining the menu and drinks to us and the unique way they do things there. She’s super attentive and such a delight to chat with we have become super fond of our little encounters. I’d like to also recognize Chef Tyler he is incredibly Talented and Knowledgeable we appreciate his passion. Every bite is simply divine!!! 👏 👏👏 Make your reservation ASAP they book up fast, but it is so worth the wait!

Went to Edoboy with friends from out of town - it was pretty easy to get a reservation and they set us up as soon as we arrived. It was one of the friends birthdays and Edoboy even provided a customized menu for him! We all ordered the max number of items per person and were blown away. The nigiris were good but the hand rolls were even better!! High recommend the crab hand roll and the toro hand roll. Recommend skipping the wagyu nigiri - it was too chewy imo.

I come here multiple times the past 2 years and they keep getting better and better. My favorites are the torched pieces and the miso soup. I’m not a fan of hand rolls in general, but I really like them here for the nori quality. This place has always been at the top of my recommendations for my friends and family.

We had an amazing meal at Edoboy. I highly recommend this restaurant. It is small, and you need a reservation to get in. There are only 8 spots in the restaurant and you stand the whole time. Everything was fresh and made to order. Absolutely delicious! I liked everything, but my favorites were the Toro, all the torched nigiri, Sake-kewpie, Aburi Aka Ebi, the blue crab temaki, and the Misi soup. The chefs are helpful and will make recommendations.

T
Tany McCaw

The food is a amazing and the experience is truly unique. I would 100% recommend this to any sushi lover or for the adventurous eater. My husband and I had never tried raw fish before but we decided to dive right in with this experience. We got the set menus which really helped with the decision making. We loved ever second of it it was so nice to be able to talk to the chef and the staff. Everyone was so kind and informative.

J
Justin Atria

I chose my own pieces instead of a set for my experience. It does make it slightly more difficult but the uniqueness that the chefs give to their hand rolls and torched pieces are absolutely worth going out of your way for. I wasn't too keen on the scallop topped with uni so I'd trade that for something else next time (really enjoyed the striped jack). I also wish the "baller set" miso soup was a choice on the regular menu. Overall a really wonderful experience that left us very much satisfied and excited to go back again.

Although I have never ever been a fan of raw sushi, I had to try it here for the concept. I will definitely be back to try ALL the hand rolls next time. Reservations required: time slots drop at NOON (12p) every Monday. They fill up fast so set your alarms for 11:59a Monday! If you decide to eat with your hands (perfectly normal) please have etiquette and wipe your fingers after every piece. Please, and thank you.

Amazing sushi dinner! Forget all the fancy extras. This place keeps it simple and is based on the Japanese concept of standing bars. EDOBOY focuses on the quality of sushi that they deliver. My husband and I love omakase, particularly on the Michelin status. While this place isn't an omakase, the level of sushi is on par. Give this place a try. Come with an open mind and enjoy the 60 min. It's an experience to be had.

A
Alex Hintz

Can't say enough good things about Edoboy! Chef Tommy rocked it last night. This was hands down the best sushi I have had in the states. The experience was unique and with only certain amount of guests in the room at a time makes for an intimate dinner and a fun way to meet new people. All the staff was so inclusive and you felt taken care of from the time you arrive until the moment you depart. To sum it up if you are in Orlando and you love to enjoy new dinning experiences you must go to Edoboy.

C
Claire Johnson

I was excited to try this experience being the only standing sushi bar outside of Japan. Be sure to mark your calendar for noon on Mondays to quickly make your reservation for that week. I was lucky to secure a spot for the second week opening. While we waited outside for our time to enter, we were able to order drinks and decided to try the Coedo Benika ale which was very refreshing. Everything we ordered was delicious. Our favorites were the torched sake-kewpie (salmon-mayo), aburi aka ebi (sweet red prawn - uni butter), blue crab with truffle kewpie mayo + cucumber and ikura (salmon roe). And we ended it with miso soup which had a delicious and healthy bone broth blend of several recent fish (hamachi, etc). You won’t be disappointed with whatever you order! Great music and vibes, too.

Best sushi I've had anywhere. Better than in Tokyo, LA or San Francisco. The personal service from the sushi chefs is really a wonderful part of the experience. It isn't cheap, but it shouldn't be. Their uni tastes like butter. Save up, splurge, you're welcome. Still awesome... went back tonight (5th visit).

Incredible experience!! The sushi was the best I’ve ever had. It is omakase and there are a couple of different ways to order so it’s not just one set menu. You can pick which sushi you want but are only able to order 12 pieces or you can choose a preselected menu. They do serve saki and beer, it is a standing room experience so yes you stand the whole time but you won’t even notice because the sushi is that amazing. You are on a time slot of an hour but definitely a unique experience! Perfect for a celebration, date night or if you just want to treat yourself

s

the best sushi experience by far! I'm no sushi expert and that didn't matter at all I had a fantastic time with chefs Tyler and Francis and the front of house expert Asia. Highly recommend for dates and personal gatherings! The sake selection was great as well and GLASS BOTTLE COKE!!! The miso soup is the perfect ending to this experience. 👏 Bravo

My wife and I along with some close friends that own restaurants all went to this place, and it was AMAZING!!!!!!!! I was not very optimistic about standing and eating, but the time goes by fast and you don’t even think about standing brood how amazing the sushi is! We can’t wait to go back!

My experience at Edoboy last night was nothing short of extraordinary. We arrived early, anticipating parking challenges on Mills but were pleasantly surprised to find a dedicated parking lot. From the moment we approached the building, the staff greeted us with warm smiles and checked us in immediately. We waited in line while the group in front of us finished up. Once inside, we made our way around the standing sushi bar and were informed of the daily specials. Any drinks we ordered promptly arrived; the jasmine pilsner was light and refreshing, perfect for the occasion. The staff's knowledge of the menu and recommendations were spot-on; you could tell everyone who worked there genuinely enjoyed the food, which is always a great sign. The chef was personable and made the whole experience more enjoyable with how informative he was with each beautiful creation he laid in front of us. He went above and beyond to explain the origin of each fish, adding an extra layer of authenticity to the meal. The highlight of my visit was the food. The sushi itself was impeccably crafted. Each piece was a work of art, boasting fresh, high-quality fish that tasted as good as it looked. The chef's attention to detail was evident in every bite – from the perfect balance of flavors and textures. Out of my selections on the menu, the ones that stood out most to me were the Madai, with a refreshing lemon zest, the Aburi Aka Ebi, which was truly delectable with a smooth buttery mouthfeel, and the blue crab handroll, which is something I’ll be thinking about for days. I chose not to order miso soup, thinking I was too full, but I did try a bit of someone else's–I’m still regretting this decision as the soup, made from the bones of the day's fresh fish, was outstanding and the best miso soup they've ever tasted. Our whole group left the restaurant not only satiated but also educated about the origin of everything we ate. It’s clear that Edoboy prides itself on maintaining high standards for every aspect of the meals provided, and I am already looking forward to my next visit!

A beautiful, intimate, setting. The prices were very fair for the quality of food recieved, and the flavor combinations were delicious. Will definitely return!

It was a very cool sushi experience. The sushi was delicious and reasonably priced for the quality. The service is great and perfectly attentive and the everyone seemed very knowledgeable about the sushi and the beverage selection.

So worth the time and money. It is an experience. Just 8 people 2 sushi chefs , great food and drinks. Perfect combination. The miso soup yummy. Make sure you get your reservations and go !!

The food was exquisite. The service was on point. The setting is a little more intimate than I normally like, eating in really close proximity to strangers but I get that's their thing. All in all, I would highly recommend Edoboy.

This is the place for a perfect date night or 8 of you closest friend to go and have an amazing time with outstanding food!! Take the chefs recommendations and have an unfilted sake. It's the top 5 expensives in Orlando.

I am blown away. The sushi was incredible. Each piece was skillfully crafted right in front of you, and the attention to detail the chefs put into each roll is mind blowing. Every single bite of food I had was better than anything else I have ever eaten before. I had no idea how elevated a simple piece of nigiri could be. The food was absolutely exquisite, we both ended up maxing out our order limit at 12 pieces each. The restaurant was small, simple, and very clean. Pricing was ridiculously low given the amazing quality of the seafood and the high level of skill both chefs had. I cannot wait to come back. My only complain is that they sit in the back of a very spacious parking lot, yet no spots are reserved for their customers. We had to circle the streets for about 20 minutes before lucking into a spot. Everyone in their lot was parking for Tori Tori. You only allow 7 guests in at a time, it seems reasonable to have 5-7 spots in a 50+ spot parking lot reserved for your guests.

Best sushi of my life so far. Every piece of nigiri perfect. Every hand roll amazing. The soup was bomb. The sale was bomb. It was an incredible night and I will definitely be back. And not excruciatingly expensive (less than 200 with tip for two people), def not cheap but you get what you pay for and you get top quality here.

Amazing quality fish! Friendly staff and great ambiance too. A unique dining experience since it is a standing sushi bar but it is perfect if you’re looking for affordable high quality fish! Everyone needs to try this place.

This place has amazing nigiri/temaki with decent price for high quality fish. It’s a fun concept of standing sushi bar which is more casual yet maintain high standard for their sushi. Food: Everything was delicious and the fish quality is top notch compare to most sushi restaurants you’ll find in Orlando. I had 8 nigiri and 2 hand rolls. There is a maximum of 12 pieces and each reservation is limited to 1 hour as it is a standing sushi bar concept. My favorite is the scallop + uni and also the sweet red prawn. One minor thing to note is if you can’t handle spicy I would let the chef know to be mindful of the amount of wasabi in each piece. I noticed that some pieces have more wasabi than others but very minor differences. Service: There are 2 chefs and 2 servers. The servers take your drinks order and deal with refills and bills at the end of the meal. Most of the service comes from the chefs and they took very good care of us. My one minor critique is the timing of when each piece is made could be better. There were a few times I felt I was just waiting around while some time I feel like a few pieces come out very close to each other, but that’s very minor so overall they provide excellent service. Value: My total pre tax was $60 and I was comfortably full with the 10 pieces I got. For the quality of the fish you I get would say it was definitely reasonable price. However if you don’t often seek high quality fish then maybe this place may be on the pricey side for you. Ambience: A small restaurant, minimalistic style with a standing bar. The place is meant to be more on a casual side so I’d say it is appropriately decorated. Crowd: We made reservation for 4pm and were the first to arrive by within 30 minutes the place was filled with 8 people (max capacity). I like the seat limit which ensure the chefs can give you appropriate time and attention. Parking: Plenty of parking in the parking when we arrived at 4. Even when we were leaving around 5ish to head to Tori Tori there were still a few parking spot left. This is uncommon for any restaurant on Mills 50 to have decent parking spaces so this place get an extra point from me.

We’ve been multiple times and have loved it every time. Chef Tyler knows what he’s doing and it shines through with each crafted piece. You can tell he’s put his heart and soul into this place from his bomb music selection to each bite. Highly recommend!

Probably one of the best sushi experiences one can have in Orlando. The Domu Dynasty is absolutely dominating the food seen here! All the dishes are executed so well using high quality ingredients. I usually gravitate towards the nigiri but it’s so hard to pick a favorite item. Ending with the miso soup is a must…then of course, post-cocktails at Tori Tori!

Small place, super friendly staff. Quality of food was great. Baller set was a fun sample of options to try. I will go back. Good option for a quick but high quality dinner.

Great sushi. I got the baller omakase set and it was so good. Very affordable as well. Everything was well prepared and the fish was very tasty. Will be coming back here if I am ever back in Orlando.

Small space with standing sushi bar that fits 8. Astounding sushi for the price. The quality of rice and fish at Edoboy rivals some omakase I have had at 2-3x the cost. I recommend selecting your 12 pieces yourself. It’s probably hard to go wrong with any selection, but overall I found the simple raw nigiri more compelling than the torched pieces (which were still delicious). My favorites included the lean tuna, scallop, and eel and crab hand rolls. The miso soup add-on was also balanced and complex. Just personal preference, I would have preferred seating as opposed to standing. But I might run on a treadmill if it meant having these pieces available for the price.

A
Alexandria Veldhuizen

Alex the Chef was absolutely amazing! Very hospitable and accommodating to my preferences! The baller set is a must.

I am blown away by this place. It was such an incredible experience even from the moment you stand outside with a drink in hand waiting to enter. It was extremely personalized by having 4 people to one sushi expert hand making everything to perfection in front of you. Every piece of nigiri and roll were made impeccably and the miso soup ending could not have topped it off any better. I will be talking about this place for so long to come. Thank you so much to everyone who is a part of this place

This is by far the absolute best sushi I have ever tried. I was in town for a 17 hour layover and decided to try EDOBOY after seeing great reviews. It’s a standing sushi bar and each bite was perfectly constructed to perfection. I ordered the baller set and shared warm sake with a few nice patrons. Asia and Christine were personable and talked to each individual calling them by name and were extremely helpful! This is a must try for foodies and sushi lovers!

Crazy good sashimi! At first glance, it might appear pricey, but you will never find an experience like this for this price anywhere else. Everything in the menu is exceptional and by far the best I've ever had. If I could, I would go here everyday. The service is also amazing, they're always nice, attentive and caring. I also love that this place doesn't have an overly-sophisticated vibe; it's very relaxed and chill. No need to dress up.

A
Alex Fischbach

Surprised my husband bringing him here and we had a blast! The chef offered an omakase style where we just let him pick what we ate based on some questions he asked us. Would absolutely recommend this, especially for your first visit. We were completely full after the 12 piece max! Tbh, we could’ve stuck with 10, but wanted to just go for it so we did. I couldn’t recommend this place more. Fun vibes, delicious food, service all around was great. We will definitely be back!

A very tasty, intimate experience! The best meal I had in Orlando. Price is very reasonable for the quality. I was able to get a reservation for 1 without trouble, but if you have a larger party, you would have to be very diligent about reserving Monday at 12p when the slots for the week are released. There are only 8 slots per hour. I would definitely come back if I visited Orlando again.

N
Nancy

Great place for high quality sushi in a more casual environment! I originally thought I wouldn't be full with the 12 piece restriction, but I left surprisingly satisfied. To me, the best bites were aka ebi and hotate+uni nigiri. Prices are high, but the quality of fish is also top notch. Chefs are friendly. I'd come back!

If you haven’t been to Edoboy, let me tell you—you’re missing out on one of the most incredible dining experiences in Orlando. This isn't just sushi; this is an art form, and every bite is crafted with precision, passion, and a level of care that makes you feel like you're in the home of a master chef who just so happens to treat you like family. At first, it’s just you, a few strangers, and a sushi counter—but by the end of the night, you’re raising your sake glasses with newfound friends, marveling at how food can bring people together in such a powerful way. The service? Flawless. You never have to ask for anything because the team at Edoboy is already two steps ahead. They move with a quiet elegance, ensuring every moment flows seamlessly—whether it’s refilling your sake, offering the next handcrafted masterpiece, or simply sharing a warm smile that makes you feel at home. And the sushi? Unreal. Each piece is a symphony of flavors—delicate yet rich, simple yet profound. The kind of food that makes you pause, close your eyes, and just exist in that perfect bite. Edoboy isn’t just a restaurant—it’s an experience. It’s a place where the world slows down, where the warmth of good company and great food wraps around you like a comforting embrace. It’s proof that sometimes, the best meals aren’t just about what’s on the plate but about the people you share them with. Orlando, we are lucky to have a spot like this. Run, don’t walk—just be ready to leave with a full heart, a happy stomach, and maybe even a few new friends.

I was used to eating at the most delicious sushi places in Los Angeles, but after moving to Orlando, I struggled to find great sushi places here. That changed yesterday. Thanks to many reviewers before me, I decided to give Edoboy a try. My first experience at Edoboy and i absolutely loved it! The concept of standing up while eating was new for me, but if anything it helps digestion. For my first time, I tried several items from each section. I highly recommend Uni sushi, Akami-uni-toro, Blue crab and Unagi handrolls. The person next to me had the ‘Baller’s set’ and I had food envy as every piece looked like a piece of art. The very friendly and helpful waitress and an attentive chef made my experience even more perfect. Thank you!!! I’ll be back.

I absolutely love that Omakase style restaurants are getting popular and if you've never been to one this is a great place to start!! Prices are amazing and the 2 chefs are wonderful! Friendly and talented at what they do! And let me tell you, that nigiri is to die for. Went home with such a savory taste in my mouth. Highly recommend this place!!!

100/10 experience! We had Alex as our server and he truly made the whole visit incredible. As a first-timer, he walked me through the menu and gave the best recommendations! Everything we had was amazing, literally every single thing! But the Matcha S’more?! EXQUISITE. 😍

Enjoyed a birthday celebration at Edoboy! Reservations open up the week of when you’d like to go; and though we had more in our party than the allowed via their online reservation service, they do advise to call/email to see if they can accommodate. Sure enough they were able to and we got our full party in (6 people). Food was great, service was great! It was all very easy and minimal. Keep in mind it’s “standing sushi” so it’s good because the food goes down easy haha but you have this feeling like you’re being rushed. Not the case! So do your best to enjoy the tastes and the company!

Went in for a quick lunch, everything was amazing. The hostess greeted us promptly at the door and explained how to order and let us know about 12 piece limit. They have sake and beer available, and also have a pitcher of water ready for you at your spot in the bar when you come in for your reservation. The service was fast, we really didn’t wait much time after we ordered and even in between pieces. The atmosphere is really nice- quiet and calm, and Chef Francis was great. The fish itself was super delicious and all the toppings on the nigiri were amazing. We got in and out in under an hour and it was just a great experience from start to finish. The tastiest pieces we had were the shima aji, the torched ebi-kewpie, torched hotate-kewpie, and the blue crab hand roll!

Loved my sushi experience at EDOBOY! It's definitely worth the hype. It's 8 people only at a time and each side gets their own personal sushi chef. They give you a 1 hour dining slot (very strict on timing). They use the highest quality ingredients, and I loved everything I ate. Be sure to get the torched prawn with uni butter (tastes like lobster). Plus they have a small selection of sakes and beer. I enjoyed the juice box sushi. Would recommend this place for date night or special occasions.

B
Bahar Ozturk

It was an absolute pleasure to be here. Everything we have ordered was done in front of us by sushi chefs and the fish was melting in your mouth. They make their own sushi ginger, and we couldn’t get over it. I definitely reccomend checking them out. Make sure you make a reservation and BE THERE ON TIME! We went late, and that resulted in not being able to get everything we wanted.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Edoboy is my go to place for an amazing and unique sushi dining experience. I have celebrated bachelorettes, birthdays and solo nights here and enough cannot be said for the level of service the chefs and staff offer every single patron. The intimacy of the venue and the limit of the time and size of parties is perfect for this experience. If you want you can enjoy on your own or engage with the parties around you quite easily. The quality and preparation of the sushi is exceptional every time I visit. Try everything on the menu at least once, as I have, it will expand your sushi vocabulary. And if you have any room, do not skip the miso soup and dessert. The matcha s’more is incredible if it is still available. Also, you cannot beat the price for the experience, it’s not cheap at all, but I will dare to say it’s on the level of some Omakase experiences but at a better value.

M

We celebrated our 5th anniversary here and loved it. Alex the chef was welcoming and the sushi was delicious.

Hands down the best (and only) standing sushi restaurant in Orlando. The quality is on par with the heavy hitters such as Kadence and Soseki, but with a fraction of the cost. The total for a full 12 piece dinner with all the higher priced items totaled around $90-$100 after tax and tip. The experience is similar to an Omakase style dinner where the chef hands you the sushi piece by piece. However instead of leaving it up to the chef entirely, you get to decide what to order and choose your own adventure. When you arrive, you'll receive a sheet of paper and mark up to 12 items you'd like to have for your meal, with miso soup not counting towards the 12 piece limit. Everything was delicious, but I highly recommend the fatty tuna, scorched salmon, and the spicy tuna handroll. There's only 8 seats at the restaurant with reservations for the week opening on Mondays at 12PM and are gone fairly quickly if you're not ready. If you want updates on reservations, follow them on instagram. Can't wait to come back and finish out the rest of the list.

M

Standing room only, your best bet at getting a reservation is to follow them on instagram. The sushi is the best quality and definitely top 3 in all of Orlando. Highly recommend.

My 1st time here, and IT WAS AMAZZZZZZIIINGGGGGG!!! Chef F was SUPER GREAT, and Asia was the best Host!!! Let me tell you something, if you haven't been here.... GOOOOOOO!!! It's standing only and you have to make a reservation. It only takes 8 people and let me tell you. Just get the Chefs special so you don't have to be thinking about what you want. Everything just melted in my mouth, and it was so fresh and clean!!! Just come. Just come on down because my words can't even express how good this please was

Made reservations here to have an early dinner before a concert and we were so impressed! Both of us have traveled to Japan and this was by far the best sushi we've had! We each grabbed some of the sushi recommended by the hostess and we were not disappointed. Im already trying to make plans to come back again and have my alarms set for when reservations drop. The smore dessert was a special strawberry matcha smore and so good!Do yourself a favor and try this place!

What an experience! My wife and I came for my birthday, and we got the baller set. It was worth every penny. Every piece is expertly crafted with each of them sending you on a favor journey. I've never had to pause and wait for flavors to go through stages of tastes like this. Definitely will want to come back and try the normal menu items, but you have to try the baller set at least once! The service was impeccable. Having only around 8 people at a time allows them to dedicate as much as they can towards the experience. Nothing was ever rushed, and we were always taken care of. They also had a very cute sign setup to wish me a happy birthday and was just such a sweet gesture.

The food here is amazing, the food quality and sushi chefs are awesome. It's a great value for an unbelievable meal. The Toro (fatty tuna) is my favorite but my boyfriend loves the scallop with mayo. You can't go wrong. Finish with the blue crap hand roll.

It felt informal for the price. The food was amazing though. I left full and mostly happy. Except for the matcha s'mores, it was burnt burnt. I didn't finish it. Good for the food, don't expect fancy omakase vibes or service. Skip the dessert, don't skip the miso soup.

I had mostly the tuna menu.. fatty tuna was really good. This place is expensive.. im saying too expensive for what you get.. yes it's really good.. but. Little short on food. Everything about the place is awesome.. except the price.
