A very elegant place with a beautiful atmosphere that makes you want to stay. The food is quite good, the drinks are well crafted, and the service is excellent. Although it’s a bit expensive for what is served, since they are tapas, the overall experience makes up for it. It’s perfect for a romantic dinner with your partner or for sharing a lovely evening with friends.
Kabooki Sushi is hands down the best sushi spot in Orlando, in my opinion. Located on E. Colonial Dr. and Maguire Blvd., this place delivers a full sensory experience from the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is trendy, modern, and undeniably sexy. They recently renovated and added a sleek bar/lounge area off to the side of the main dining room, which adds to the vibe. I highly recommend making a reservation, as they’re always busy, but honestly, I’m just as happy sitting at the bar and watching the chefs work their magic, it’s like dinner and a show. Every dish we’ve ever ordered here has been superb, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. On our last visit, we enjoyed the Zen, Hawaii X.O., Chill, Yucca Fritters, Coconut Udon Truffle, and Money Bags; each one absolutely delightful and bursting with flavor. For dessert, we treated ourselves to the Ube Cheesecake and Carrot Cake, both made in-house and on another level entirely. I would honestly come back just for dessert alone. To pair with it all, we ordered the Bee My Honey cocktail, so delicious, crafted with lavender-infused honey and elderflower liqueur, perfectly balanced and refreshing. We’ve brought friends and family here many times, and every single person has left raving about the food, the ambiance, and the impeccable service. The entire staff, from the host stand to the servers, goes above and beyond to make the experience special. If you’re looking for a place that’s elegant, romantic, and unforgettable, Kabooki Sushi is it. 100% recommend for anyone who loves sushi and stellar service.
We were told to try out Kabooki. It was absolutely incredible! We got the wagyu hot stone, the carpaccio, and the Hawaii XO. The drinks, Green Goddess especially, were super smooth and unique - some of the best I’ve ever had. Edgar, the manager, is incredible and he and the entire staff created a very memorable and special evening. Fine dining, yet comfortable and friendly.
I went for dinner and it was really. We ordered the double tekka and the akami unagi roll. The Akami was my favorite because the eel was really good. We tried the yellowfin tasting, a bowl with rice and pork belly and mushrooms, and a wagu tasting with the hot stone. Our server was Rylan and he was so amazing. Very knowledgeable about the menu and so funny and charming. Loved this place 10/10.
This place is an absolute gem for a special night out. The ambiance is incredibly chic and has a wonderfully alluring vibe, making it perfect for a romantic date. We were so impressed with the unique sushi creations they offered, going beyond the usual. Beyond the sushi, their broader Asian cuisine selections were equally delightful and thoughtfully prepared. The service truly elevated our entire experience; it was exceptionally attentive and graceful throughout the evening. Every dish we tried was a delicious adventure, showcasing fresh ingredients and creative combinations. It's definitely a spot we'll be returning to for another memorable evening. If you're looking for an elegant and sophisticated dining experience, this is highly recommended.
It was my first time there. The food was delicious and I was satisfied. The service from the server was okay, except that he forgot two of the items we ordered.
This was our second visit, and once again the food was excellent. The restaurant strikes the perfect balance between upscale and casual, with a dressy yet comfortable atmosphere that makes dining here feel special. The Japanese drinks are unique & well balanced to go with the menu.
Great place with delicious food and competent staff. It was great night to celebrate our anniversary. All the food was great but suprisingly the best ribs we have ever had in life. Highly Recommended !!
You want to talk about a modern, clean, sleek restaurant with flavors that will punch you in the face then look no further than Kabooki Sushi. That Chicken Karaage is hands down the best I’ve ever had from any restaurant that serves that dish. The Ghost roll and Curry roll are absolutely to die for and you gotta get chocolate C4 lava cake for dessert. Not even 5/5 but a 10/10, this place is delicious. Just be warned that during peak times they are absolutely packed so make a reservation or plan accordingly.
Perfection from start to finish! Check in was a breeze, the seating assistants were very welcoming, friendly and super helpful! This sushi restaurant is truly a gem! The food was absolutely amazing – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Their menu has such a great selection that it was hard to choose, but everything we ordered was a hit. You can really tell the place is run like a well-oiled machine – efficient, smooth, and with real attention to detail. What really put the experience over the top was the service. Johnathan was our server and he was fantastic – friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel right at home. He anticipated our needs before we even had to ask and had great recommendations. It’s rare to find a place that nails it on food and service like this. Can’t wait to come back to visit the lounge!
I discovered this restaurant through Resy, and I have to say—it’s worth the hour-long drive! The sushi is incredibly fresh, and as someone who’s more of a meat lover, the wagyu was cooked to absolute perfection. I went with my toddler, and the staff was very accommodating, providing a high chair and making sure we were comfortable. But the real showstopper? The Ube cheesecake. Wow—hands down the best cheesecake I’ve ever had. I’d drive an hour just for that alone! Next time, I might have to ask for the whole cheesecake instead of just a slice.
Absolutely 10000% incredible! Edgar the manager is so wonderful, along with the entire staff. The ube cheesecake is beyond words delicious. And the carpaccio was my favorite. And of course, the hot stone wagyu.
Food is great and many selections to choose from. The price is right for the food you get. The servers are welcoming and environment is outstanding. There are many dishes that we have enjoyed. If I lived closer this would probably be one of our go to places. The place is decorated in a warming way. Even the plate is decorated in a well maintained manner. Loved it.
The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere were all flawless—10/10! I celebrated my birthday here with my husband, and every dish, from the appetizers to the sushi, was expertly crafted. The freshness and quality were perfect. As born and raised in Japan who's picky about sushi, I can confidently say their creations are exceptional.

I am back after a few years. The food is still delicious, 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Our server, Kimo, 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ He is full of energy, explained the dishes, gave us suggestions and was very attentive. My favorite from his suggestions, Maguro Truffle, Sticky Ribs, Hawaii XO Roll and the Double Tekka Roll. For dessert we had the Ube Cheese Cake. Sweet, smooth, perfect to share with two. Yes! I would order it all again. The ambiance, 4 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ The decor is cheeky/romantic with dim lights. But noise level was pretty high. It’s ok if you are sitting right next to each other. I can hear larger parties speaking louder to be able to carry a conversation. Restroom situation, 2 ⭐️ ⭐️ There is 1 bathroom for females and 1 bathroom for males. I didn’t really noticed it until the line came out of the bathroom area and people were standing near our table. When I needed to use it, wow, I was next in line but it took forever. Something to consider upgrading or maybe make them unisex so both stalls can be used. The restaurant added a lounge next door. It has its own door or you can access through the restaurant. It also has its own cocktail menu that you can order from while dining. These are suggestions for improvement but not important enough to stop me from coming back.
my absolute favorite sushi spot in all of orlando. bar none. not even close. i throughly enjoy every single visit here & i am grateful to have made friends with the owner, Henry. the service is excellent, accompanied by the immaculate cuisine & creative craft cocktail menu this place always supersedes expectations. if you’re local, you know! but if you haven’t come to experience Kabooki yet, you’re absolutely missing out! highly recommended. couldn’t be recommended more. kindly, GTB

I love this place, so many delicious vegetarian options bursting with flavor. Honestly, everything is really good. The cocktails are delicious, the service is impeccable, and the space is beautiful, with a warm yet elegant atmosphere. My favorite dishes were the miso soup, the Brussels sprouts, and the “vegetarian sashimi”, you really have to try it; everything is delicious.

We enjoyed the food! We did the magical dinning menu which was nice. our server was real nice in the atmosphere was cool but he advised that we liked wasabi so she recommended we get the freshly graded wasabi, but didn’t advise us that it was eight dollars for a little pile. overall, I would still recommend.
So we had reservations so seating was not an issue. The restaurant is very nice looking and the service was very good! I have some difficulties with food allergies, or their difficulties accommodateing my allergies. My options were plane food (never a good option) and if I wanted plane food why would I go out for dinner?? Or plane food made less plane but not with the intended flavors. So I took option .B. and that's what was delivered. There were some things I totally understand are hard to make on the spot, but I have never had this issue in a sushi restaurant. So some of the food was great. And others at the table were enjoying their dinner. But no one was blown away by the experience. The service was great the bar was great... the food was good. I wanted to love this place.. but food wise I just couldn't. It may have been a bad day but at almost $200 for 2 people and a not so super experience I would be hard pressed to run back.

I went for magical dining. I don't get the hype. The food was mid and over-priced. There is better sushi for cheaper in Orlando. They didn't seat on time with my reservation and service was kind of slow and inattentive.

Disappointed, especially given the expectations. I traveled from Georgia to Florida and specifically went out of my way to eat at Kabooki and make a reservation based on a prior great experience. Unfortunately, this visit didn’t live up to that at all. The drinks were subpar, and the sushi just didn’t taste the same as before. The cuts were unusually thick, and the sauce was heavy and not sautéed, very different from the lighter, more balanced preparation I remembered. Overall, it was a letdown considering the effort made to return and the reputation of the restaurant.
While I know Valentine’s Day is a popular day to eat out (which is usually why my bf and I avoid it) we have special guests coming into town this year and thought it would be nice to take them out to our favorite restaurant. I made our reservation months in advance (11/22/25 to be exact).Surely being so proactive would prevent any issues and we’d all be able to enjoy a lovely Valentine’s Day dinner. Fast forward to today, 1/29/26 when I get a call from Kabooki at 8:25pm. The woman who called was nice enough. She explained that the restaurant decided to do a prix fixe menu for VDay and that it would be $400 per couple…….. in an almost laughable tone she asked if I wanted to cancel…. Well DUH! That is not what I signed up for 2 months ago! I cancelled my reservation and warily started looking for alternatives. Naturally all viable options at this point are booked solid for that day. Im so frustrated and disappointed with Kabooki. I expected better organization and communication. I booked this table 2 months ago. At any point could they have called to tell me this would be their plan for VDay, instead they waited until the last minute when I can make no other arrangements. Thanks for ruining our plans and disappointing our guests.
If you’re looking for a dining experience that mistakes attitude for excellence, look no further than Kabooki Sushi. The staff acts like they’re curating a once-in-a-lifetime culinary pilgrimage, when in reality, it’s just sushi—average sushi, at best. The atmosphere feels more pretentious than welcoming, as if you should feel grateful for the privilege of paying triple-digit prices for average food, while the staff appears annoyed you're even there. It’s the kind of place that seems more focused on impressing influencers than actually satisfying customers. Kabooki is style over substance: overpriced, pretentious, and convinced of its own greatness. If you enjoy paying extra for ego and ambiance, this might be your place. If you just want great sushi, you can absolutely do better elsewhere in Orlando.
