Tip: Try the passion fruit sangria or piña colada. Be aware that some dishes, like the fried rice, may lack seasoning or meat, and the lo mein is a thinner style.

We went here for Valentines day. It was completely unexpected as we were in the area and had been thinking about going here for so long so we took the chance. We walked in and were greeted, asked if we had reservations (considering its Valentines day) and we said no. She said, "oh don't worry we can get you seated!" She came back and said about 20 mins. We didn't even wait 10 mins and they had a table ready for us. We sat ordered our food and drinks since we already knew what we wanted. We got up to use the bathroom after ordering and upon return we already had our drinks on the table. Amazing, we got up to take a couple pics and by the time we looked back they were bringing our appetizer out, then getting ready to take a bite and out dishes were already out!!! Super quick, no wait at all for anything! Now lets talk about the food, I ordered a parcha mojito and parcha jugo natural...omg it was absolutely delicious. We ordered the "rellenos de papa con carne y queso" Dios mio que sabrosos estaban! We ordered the platter that serves 2-3. We got fried rice, tostones al ajillo, fries, chicken teriyaki and boneless ribs. Hands down the best puerto rican/ chinese we have had in Florida. It does not compare to any other. Omg we loved the food so much, the drinks, everything was amazing. The staff was super attentive and friendly, the atmosphere was so nice. Not lout at all and not crazy considering it was V.day. Overall an amazing experience. Our total for our meal was about $85. I think its an amazing price considering we ordered mojitos, juice, appetizer and a platter that serves up to 3 people. We will definitely return. We live in Melbourne, an hour away but we will definitely be back!!
We had the opportunity to eat at Coqui resto Orlando Ninja this evening with a family of 7 guests🙂 The Chinese - puerto ricain fusion is very nice 🙂 The services was excellent! Our waitress Keisha went over and beyond. The food was good and the prices very modest. The restaurant is also very well kept and clean :) We definitely suggest you to Try this place :) Thanks from the Thibodeau / Soto family 🙂we will be back 🙂
Had an amazing time at El Coqui Ninja! Amazing food! Spectacular Vibes! A fantastic blend of Latin Cuisine with an Asian-inspired flair. Everything was cooked to perfection and love! My group travels a lot and everyone was able to find something they fell in love with! Adianez was our server and she was attentative and provided great recommendations! Everything was presented beautifully! Can't wait to return!
I order a Chinese rice with pollo pepper and was so perfectly cook and a lot of flavor like an explosion. Our server Patrick was perfect with recommendations and the service impeccable! Good wait time awesome flavor!!! Very affordable price on the food! I love the atmosphere very comfortable, clean place and beautiful!!! I recommend this place a 100%
Had an amazing dining experience. Service was above and beyond. The food was excellent, the crab Rangoon was my favorite. The fried rice was a mix of Spanish and Chinese that complemented the Mofongo very well. The local is very cozy and only a few tables which is nice to hold a conversation. The prices are on par of what is expected from the whole experience. I can’t wait to visit again!
I can only say Wow Wow!!!!! Starting with the service Adianez provided, she gave us great suggestions. I loved that she offered alternatives to my daughters who were undecided, and they were happy with their food. The food was excellent and the fruit tea was wonderful. The tostones 😍, the Chinese rice, the boneless ribs, the pepper steak 🤤, the mofongo, everything was so delicious. I recommend it 100% and of course I will be back.
El Coqui Ninja was an incredible experience. I've been feeling homesick lately and this is just what I needed. The waitress, Adianez, was so kind and treated us like family, even after asking for 20 sugar packets. The food was incredible and it was such a wonderful spin on food that I grew up on and made me who I am. My favorite was the Kung Pao Mofongo and I never really liked mofongo in the past, but the sweet, spicy flavor was so delicious! Adianez recommend a lemonade with mint and its all I can think about. I'd go again tomorrow but the portions were so good that I'll be eating good for a while. Clearly everyone is passionate about their craft and I can't recommend this place enough!
WOW!!! This place was amazing! The atmosphere was comfortable, welcoming, well lit, and clean. The service that Keishaly provided was truly exceptional. We had lo mein, chicken wings, fried rice, orange chicken, garlic tostones, and a vanilla flan for dessert. Everything came out quickly and the quality was outstanding. I can’t say anything bad about this place. This will definitely be a place to stop by when I’m back in the area. Thank you again for a wonderful experience! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Went here while vacationing in Orlando the food was so good. We ordered the 2-3 person family meal and it was more than enough for my family of four and we still had left overs. Will def be back when we're in the Orlando area.
The service was excellent. Big shout out to Patrick, who was an incredibly attentive server. People like him are exactly what more restaurants need. The stuffed potatoes were really good, but the MVP of this place is the garlic shrimp mofongo. Honestly, if it’s not the best I’ve had, it’s definitely in my top 3 in Florida. The Chinese style rice with boneless ribs and plantain tostones was also very good. I won’t complain that the tostones weren’t made from traditional plantains. They should have asked me first, but the rice was great and the ribs were delicious. My only critique is the portion size of the rice, which seemed a bit small for the price. They could definitely improve that. Overall, an amazing experience that’s worth coming back for.
We loved El Coqui Ninja Restaurant! We started with the egg rolls and potato balls and wow! Delicious! The egg rolls were different but so good! We had a passion fruit sangria that was so yummy and a piña colada that tasted so authentic! I almost ordered another one! We then had to try a family style meal but couldn’t decide on one so we got 2/4 available! The food was delicious and reheated very well the next day! The rice had plenty of meat/protein, was well seasoned and all of our food came out hot! For dessert we had the chocolate cake and the cream brûlée - OMG! Also 10/10! Service was also great! We’ll definitely we back!

My boyfriend and I decided to stop by for a late night snack. We arrived close to an hour before closing, and despite that, we received excellent service and the food was truly delicious. I highly recommend their mint lemonade and the Mar y Tierra trifongo is an absolute must-try.
Very good mofongo with carne frita. My husband had fried rice with orange chicken and veggies he was expecting more rice though but overall food was good. On the fried chicken wings in comparison with other places is too little for price maybe they should equal amounts of 10 wings for $15 as for the wings my husband passed on that one
Nice little eatery, somewhat chic & great service. I was here for the food and it was "just okay." The Chinese fried rice had very little meat, no egg, and tasted of nothing but soy sauce (also all the food was room temperature). The pinchos looked amazing and I appreciated the presentation but there was no flavor whatsoever and were cold inside. My Guy had lo mein with fried shrimp...he loved it but the star of the show was the appetizer, egg rolls. Also I ordered the churrasco cocktail, while tasty, it was overwhelmingly sweet and I only had a few sips. I might give them another try, definitely ordering different dishes. I would rather give my money to a small local business than to franchise restaurants. I would still recommend them!
Today was my first time at El Coqui Ninja. Everything was spectacular and I left with such a good impression of the staff and food! The atmosphere alone was very nostalgic, with classic salsa music playing in the background. I grew up on Monchy y Alexandria and it was an absolute joy to reminisce about the days I used to clean with my mom. The decor as well helped accentuate the Puerto Rican and Japanese fusion. Between the logo, aesthetic and gong they'd strike, it really felt like it was all tied together well The drinks exceeded my already high expectations as well. The coconut coffee had such a beautiful presentation with the cute mugs and was an innovative spin on a classic drink. Being Puerto Rican myself, Mofongo is probably my favorite Puerto Rican dish of all time. I've had many different Mofongo from other restaurants and unfortunately I am not completely impressed. It was very tasty and the chicken was cooked perfectly to order, however I find that a lot of restaurants do not provide enough sauce to go with the meal leaving the mofongo itself a little too dry. Regardless, it's absolutely delicious and I would still recommend it. The portion itself was phenomenal as well. The Raphael platter my party ordered was supposed to feed 2-3 people but to our pleasant surprise there was so much food that we were sure that it can feed at least 5-6 really well. For the price we paid, it's very well worth it. The Lo Mein itself really tied everything together well, with the slight sweet flavor being a perfect accomplice to the crispy salty food that was served on the platter. I've ordered the vanilla Flan, recommended from our waitress. It was very silky smooth and the presentation was pleasant. My only gripe would be the serving size provided versus the price, as 8 dollars seems a little steep. Otherwise, it's delectable and is the perfect sweet treat to end the meal on. Our waitress Adianez was very personable, and to me really felt like she upped the vibe of the whole establishment. She has a bright personality and gave me the vibe of older cool Tía at the family function. She mentioned that she made the flan herself and looked so proud to tell us and really sold me into trying it. Overall I will, with 100% certainty, recommend this place for others to dine in. I really felt like I was back with my family playing dominoes and enjoying music, having a whole vibe. If you're in the area whether visiting or just passing through, this restaurant is a MUST!
The place is really nice decorated and the lady at the front was very cordial. The food on the other hand was lacking seasoning, the arroz chino was a bit hard and it claimed to have shrimp (none on mine) and barely any seasoning. The ribs were ok, I'm not a big fan of the red sauce on my meat, my kid loved the lo mein and the pechurina were a bit tough to eat as they were over fried. Not sure about coming back but who knows.

Overall experience: 4.5 Don’t know why I’m not able to choose 4.5 here in Google. What a delightful & cozy place. The moment we walked in we were greeted and escorted to a table. Really like the decoration of the Restaurant. Clean place, including women’s restroom. We ordered the fried rice with fried green plantains and the chicken skewers “pinchos”. Fried rice tasted good, although would have appreciated a little more ingredients such as more vegetables, shrimps & ham or pork. The fried green plantains were ok. The garlic sauce should have been enhanced to taste a bit stronger, like fresh garlic. The chicken “pinchos” had a great taste, however, the meet was cold. I admit we told the waitress at the end of our dinner which I myself do not recommend and she mentioned in a kind manner that we should have told her immediately since it looks like the oven was being used for other types of foods and the oven temperature might have been low, thus resulting in the meat being cold. I have to say that I’ve never tasted a chicken skewer with so much meat, which is a plus. I also ordered a crème brûlée, it tasted delicious. For beverage I ordered a lemonade with mint which was awesome. All in all, the staff was very courteous, friendly & customer service oriented. Recommendation… if you’re not doing this already, when you go to a Restaurant if something is not meeting your expectations important to share with the staff immediately.

The design of this place was great, everything was so cool, the service was great and the atmosphere fun. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is that there were some things left to be desired food wise. I had the fresh lemonade with mint, it was almost like a mocktail mojito, and it was delicious!! I ordered the pinchos and they were served on a little mini grill with the fire still running and I thought that presentation was amazing, as well as the flavor of the chicken pinchos. The sides were good too, I had some sweet potato fries and maduros(Sweet plantains) I also ordered the Krab Rangoon's, that's where the 4 stars come from, they were not that good and had a different flavor to them, but were still good enough to eat. My fiancé ordered the pepper steak, it was good but also pretty bland and generic, nothing to give it a standout twist here. Our friend ordered the chicken chicharrones and those were good he enjoyed those. His partner ordered the Kung Pan Mofongo, the portion was hefty!! and the flavor was there, it was definitely spicy and I loved that, the mofongo was a little dry but not to the extent of some bad places we have been to, definitely flavorful, no sauce required to make the mofongo better, which is a good thing. All in all everything was good, service was great, atmosphere was as well. I would be willing to come back and try other things here also as they did have a lot of good looking options on the menu

Chinese food and Puerto Rican food fusion restaurant that has been there for about a year now. Parcha is my favorite drink here. The lo mein is not what you would typically find out here. It is thinner and flatter. Egg rolls are also different. They have cheese and remind me of the insides of a quesadilla wrapped in a large eggroll. Customer service is top notch here and staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
El Coqui Ninja restaurant is latin Asian fusion food. It's supposed to focus on Puerto Rican Chinese cuisine. Upon arrival around 1230pm, the business was pretty quiet. We placed a to go order. As we waited for the food to be prepared, we sat inside at one of the tables. The server and the whole staff were SUPER nice and welcoming. Once the food was ready we left to eat at home. So when we finally sat down to eat, the presentation of the food was very enticing. But looks can be deceiving. The flavors of the food were very lacking. The rice need more seasong. The ribs as well. The fried pork chunks were dry. We really were excited to enjoy this good, because we know how delicious Puerto Rican Chinese food is. Unfortunately, the flavors were lacking. I hope it was just a bad day in the kitchen and not what is being served on the daily. Hopefully if we try it again, it will be better. The service was amazing, the food not so much.

I hate to leave a bad review; however, it was definitely not what we expected. We have been to Daddy Ninja and loved it; therefore, we were expecting something similar. The place was quiet and the waitress was nice; but the food needs to be improved. The rice had absolutely no flavor, no color, very little meat, and it didn’t seem freshly done. It was actually room temperature; as if, it was sitting in a tray all day. The potato balls were full of cheese and almost no meat at all. The crispy pork skin appetizer was like eating pork rings from a bag. The best thing was the wings because they added chill sauce which gave it flavor, but even those were room temperature, and if not for the chili sauce they would have been flavorless as well. We will try again a few months from now and see if there’s a change.
This place is way too expensive for PR Chinese food. I ordered pepper steak with fried rice and tostones for $17. The portion was not worth it and the fried rice had no flavor. Server was nice but didn't bring me a water refill when I asked for it. Beers such as Medallas are $8. I would rather go to grillers for a better portion of food atmosphere for this price or Chirico for real PR Chinese food. I think this place would be better if they at least give you more food for the price.

After months of driving by this place & dying to try the food; I have to say I am VERY DISAPPOINTED. Trash food in such a Beautiful restaurant. I’m pretty sure they invested more in the atmosphere than in the food. This was the $20 salmon with sliced pineapples (do these look like slices?) , with arroz chino & tostones drier than the Sahara desert that they served to me. I took one bite & I have never felt more offended in my life, especially as a Puerto Rican. This salmon was overcooked, barely seasoned & tasted like they took it right out of a freezer bag. I was also served relleno de papás que ni estaban lleno. No wonder this place was so slow on what should be a super busy Friday night. This felt like a cash grab especially since this area is highly populated with Latinos/Hispanics. Also they will serve you a drink labeled as a mojito (which we all know is a rum based drink) but really it’s some sort of mixer with SAKE. None of their drinks have hard liquor. The server only mentioned this after I ordered & was questioning the flavor of the drink. Why couldn’t they clarify that on the menu? I’m not one to complain (I know it’s so hard to believe after this review) but we work too damn hard for our money to then be completely ripped off at a restaurant. Save your money and take another 3 minutes and go eat at PIÑONES EN ORLANDO, or if you REALLY WANT PR CHINESE - GO TO PA LOS CHINOS!
