This was a review we left 2 year’s ago: 👉🏼One of our favorite places! Great food, always fresh and delicious! Stop for a meal, or just grab a desert (coconut mousee). Very friendly staff, highly recommended 😀 And this a new one 👉🏼 9/2/2025 We went today and were so surprised by all the beautiful upgrades! They’ve turned it into a more official restaurant with elegant tables, a cozy atmosphere, and a refreshed menu. You can really tell they put effort into making it fancy yet comfortable. My husband and I originally went just for dessert because we love their coconut mousse (our favorite!), but sadly it’s no longer on the menu, I’m definitely going to miss it. 🥲 This time we tried two of their new desserts: • Sweet plantain with apples – Wow. Just wow. It was delicious, delicious, delicious! I don’t know what sauce was on it, but it made the whole dish absolutely perfect. • Coconut crème brûlée – Also really good! Smooth, creamy, and a nice twist on the classic. Even though I’ll miss the coconut mousse, both desserts were excellent, and I’m looking forward to coming back to try the rest of the new menu. Special thanks to Enrique, our waiter, and the management team — they were super friendly and welcoming. Great job, JJ’s! The upgrades look wonderful, and the food is just as amazing as always. 👏

I visited JJ's Fresh From Scratch to break my fast, and it was the perfect choice! Natalia, an employee, greeted me with a friendly smile and took the time to explain what makes this place great. It’s like Chipotle but BETTER—everything is made fresh in-house. I had a bowl with jasmine rice, black beans, shredded chicken, and various fresh toppings. The portion was generous, and everything tasted incredible! I also met Olivia, the owner’s mother, and learned that all the food is based on her family recipes. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more. Highly recommend!

The food here is fresh and flavorful. I got pretty much every topping together over the grilled chicken breast and a bed of salad. I wish I get more salad base but the overall experience is good. I think this is how fast food should be: fast yet fresh and healthy!

The plate was plentiful and delicious. Everything was very fresh. I ate the grilled chicken salad with my choice of toppings. The options are multicultural, greek, venezuelan, and latin mix. This is a fast casual, steam table type of restaurant. Very well maintained location. Great for a quick lunch because mainly everything is ready to serve. The service was very quick, and Dulce was very helpful in explaining the different options. It was a positive experience for me.

I’ve been coming here for a LONGG time, I haven’t been in since the renovation and firstly, it looks BEAUTIFUL! I came in right after getting off of work and it was 10 minutes before JJ’s closed! I was treated extremely well anyways and was even given a sample of Tabbouleh by Sean, Jose and Jose! The service from them was great and I can’t wait to come back again! 🫶🏼

I've been ordering through Uber Eats for a while now and they've been amazing. The food tastes so good and right up my alley since I try to eat healthy. I visited in person for first time today and the restaurant looks nice inside. Will definitely bring my family to dine in soon. They do lunch in a crunch to the hospital I work at, but I never order since the menu is limited. If the menu items expanded for lunch in a crunch, I'd order at least twice a week. Wish we had more restaurants like this in Orlando for the health conscious people.

Highly recommend checking this place out if you’re looking for a higher protein whole foods only meal. I got a bowl and an arepa with chicken, everything was so good I wish I could order it daily.

10 out of 5 stars!! My husband loves Chipotle, and I detest franchised Mexican food. So when we pulled up to our regular spot next door and saw JJ's, he suggested we tried it. Extremely hesitant, but also kind of obligated (bc I did say wherever he decided I will agree to ..this time). WOW!!! I am soooo glad I actually trusted his pick. We both are. Food is so FREAKING flavorful and deeelicious. We built our own bowl (huge) and did the coconut pineapple mousse. Both options were so good, already planning to go back to dine-in as there are a lot more available options. In the meantime.. planning on joining doordash and time soon...my guilty pleasure so might just order way too often?! Also the ambiance was super zenful and beautiful. And service was amazing. The girls were very patient and answered all our questions.

I continue to order from Uber eats because this food is so good and flavorful and the portions are more than enough. I can make two meals out of it. Everything is legit fresh and there’s so many options. Definitely a new favorite.

I actually found JJ’s Fresh Kitchen Catering through ChatGPT, and I’m so glad I did! I called them last minute, and the owner was awesome to work with — he even loved that I discovered them through ChatGPT. He put together a custom catering package for one of our group events, and everyone absolutely loved the food. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Can’t recommend JJ’s enough for catering — they really came through for us! I’m planning to check out their restaurant soon too!

I’ve lost nearly 350 pounds naturally (no surgery, no shots, no meds) on my journey of recovery and wellness, so I’m very intentional about what I eat. JJ’s blew me away. ✨ My roasted sweet potato bowl + tofu, zucchini & eggplant was incredible. The tzatziki and chimichurri were bursting with authentic, fresh flavor. ✨ My all-time favorite treat? Chips & queso — and the tortillas are fried in avocado oil (what!!!). ✨ And dessert… the chocolate mandarin mousse was divine — indulgent yet light, truly crafted with care. ✨ Don’t skip the guacamole add-on — it’s as fresh as it gets. I rarely eat out — sometimes Chipotle or CAVA just for convenience — but JJ’s is in a completely different league. The food is vibrant, balanced, nourishing, and delicious. Every ingredient shines. I recently visited JJ’s Kitchen after their renovations and was so impressed with the sit-down menu! The fresh-pressed juice was absolutely delicious, and you can taste the quality of the fresh ingredients they use. Every dish was filling, satisfying, and packed with flavor. The owner and staff are incredibly kind and attentive, making the experience even better. JJ’s Kitchen is the perfect food option when you don’t have time to cook and need a healthy meal. Highly recommend stopping by if you want a great meal in a welcoming space!

At my workplace we had a representative from a medical company bring food for all the staff. While the rice, pico, guacamole, chips, corn and blackened chicken were great. The grilled chicken we received was mostly undercooked and raw. It was my first time having it and everything was good except the fact that raw chicken left the kitchen and made it to a group of people. Overall disappointing for a catering service to have such a mishap occur. I’ll order the rice and that’ll be all.

The food no longer taste the same as before I prefer the old flavor as well as the bowls they were better, it took forever to get my food and they forgot some items and I paid a total of 25 dollars for a bowl rice and a lemonade. The staff was friendly tho I don’t blame them just the company most likely.

Updating my review: After coming here regularly all the time, I'm finding out that all the tips I've been leaving have been going to the owner. That's shameful. There should be something claiming that my tips are going to the owner and not the employees who are serving me with a great attitude and a awesome smile. You're not only descentivizing your employees to have good customer service, but you're robbing them of the money that they deserve to have. Even if you're paying them a few dollars more an hour to seem like it makes up for it, it's deceptive and wrong. My review will not change unless the owner gives the employees what they deserve. As someone who works in the food industry and makes a living off of tips, this makes me furious. The review: An absolutely amazing place. The food here is top notch. Everything tastes amazingly fresh, staff is courteous and respectful. Dining atmosphere is nice. Would so recommend going here. This place is like chipotle if chipotle gave a crap about what they served and how they served it. There is SOUL in this food. If you are looking for something to eat in the Orlando area this is IT. Would have taken a picture of my food, but the smell was so good I just ate it all before thinking 😆

First time trying this place and honestly the food wasn’t good. The staff also seemed like they didn’t want to be there, which made the whole experience feel unwelcoming. Service felt rushed and uninterested. I’ll give it one more try later on and hope it’s better next time.
