Food was flavorful and fresh. First time having pupusa and also tried a tamale. The tamale had great masa and the chicken was moist and full of flavor. The pupusas were so delicious! I will be returning to try more dishes. Atmosphere is clean and service was on point.
Great place to experience Salvadoran food in a quaint clean restaurant near Orlando International Airport. The pupusas were authentic and tasty at a reasonable price. Will definitely be coming back soon
My wife wanted to eat pupusas 🫓 for a long time and this place is the spot for them , a lot of options it was so good . ⭐️
This is a must try restaurant with authentic and delicious food. The menu is full of variety and everything we ordered was top notch! Service was outstanding. Will definitely be coming back!
Restaurante Salvadoreño La Familia is a hidden gem! There aren’t many good Salvadoran restaurants in Orlando - this is pretty much the only one I’d recommend. My wife had a Salvadoran nanny when she was growing up and this place is the closest we have found to her food outside of California! They have excellent pupusas (be sure to try the pupusa loca, it is sooo good), the churrasco plate is fantastic (actually REALLY good meat, and the chorizo is a great addition!), all of their tamales are really nice, and the combination of refried beans/sour cream/plantains is exactly like what you’d have in El Salvador! Such a great place, the service is really good (they’re very friendly here), and absolutely the type of mom-and-pop restaurant that deserves your business. We will be coming back many more times!
Food was amazing. The shrimp pupusas will have me coming back. Only thing: they need to get some a/c. It is hot in there. But the food was so good I forgot about the heat.
I noticed this small restaurant as I was driving. I have never eaten food from El Salvador, so my curiosity made me go inside. I was promptly greeted and decided to order a pupusa with beans and cheese. I promptly received my order and drove home. I took a bite of the pupusa, and it was so good that I immediately took another bite. Yum! The order came with a red sauce and spicy cabbage in a small bag (it was good too). I will definitely be visiting this gem again. Next time, I will order more food to try and update my review. ¡Esa pupusa de frijol y queso les quedo riquisima!
The food was good! Ordered a little bit of everything, and it was delicious!
We were visiting from Memphis and found this little treasure with the BEST pupusas and staff! Las pupusas son perfecto!! Thank you 😊. We hope to visit again soon.
I have tried multiple Salvadoran restaurants all around orlando, finally finding this restaurant my expectations were met. Everything i have tried has been really good, for sure i will be back and i recommend this spot if you are wanting to have an attempt at Salvadoran food.

Visiting from another state, first time at this restaurant… FOOD is like being in El Salvador, service is quick and great!!! Highly recommended making this a stop to eat in Orlando. DESAYUNOS Y PUPUSAS 110/10
The food was great, the pupusas were the best we ever had. They were cooked to perfection and the toppings paired perfect. We got the yuca, a sandwich and rice. Everything was great tasting as well as great portion size. The place from the outside definitely gives you hole in the wall vibes but do not let that deter you, it is a good choice to eat here.
Down to earth come as you are feel. Best pupusa and beans I’ve tried in Orlando so far. Prices are good. Sandwich my husband ate was fresh. Overall great.
I’ve been here a good four times and I love the food very fresh friendly and delicious. I’ve had the desserts. I’ve had the soup I’ve had the steak. I’ve had their drinks that they made homemade very good. Highly recommended very authentic.
Came to Los Vecinos with my family and ordered a fried chicken with pupusas and I can honestly say the food was amazing. This is real homemade food and tasted delicious! Service was also great. 10/10 recommend.
Restaurant was great. Seemed to be under new management. Authentic Central American food with both Salvadorian and Hondurian tastes. But the restaurant is mostly Salvadorian. Presentation is great and clean. They have various different drinks to choose from. The have various pastries to choose from which is great.
The hula hula sandwich is so good, it actually brought me back to my time visiting san salvador when the market place existed around el calvario definitely recommend this place 100 percent and gotta say is one of the best experiences I had in Orlando, Lisario the waiter did really great also. Before I forget the sandwich with everything (pan con todo) is also good and the beans are still red beans the flavor is great.
I’ve never actually dined in—I always get takeout—but the food speaks for itself. The flavor is consistently phenomenal. I’ve tried most of their pupusas and can honestly say the Pupusa Loca is my absolute favorite. It’s packed, flavorful, and hits every time. If you’re looking for real Salvadoran flavor done right, this place delivers. Highly recommend giving them a try!

Great place. Great food. Definitely will come back. It’s a lonely area which is weird as it’s in the city. But a hidden gem for sure.

We have been a loyal customer of this restaurant for a some time now, and the food has always been fantastic—no complaints there. However, my most recent visit was extremely disappointing, and I feel compelled to share my experience. We were a party of 7 and spent a significant amount of money—especially considering we're a smaller group. We ordered a large amount of food, probably as if we were a party of 12, and yet the service was nothing short of appalling. We were served by a young man who, when I asked for his name, told me it was "Jose"—though, honestly, I’m not convinced that was his real name. To start, we asked for horchata, coke, pepsi to drink and they didn’t have any. So I asked just for tap water. Be brought out one of their restaurant cups with water and ice. After dinner and reviewing the receipt after my husband paid, we realized I was charged $1.98 for tap water. This did not sit well with me. So I went to the counter to discuss this with the young man and he quickly rolled his eyes and gave me a condescending, dismissive response. He explained that the water was purified, and that’s why there was a charge, despite it not being a bottle of water. I understand being charged for a bottle of water, but being charged for tap water felt completely unreasonable. When I pressed him on it, he claimed it was $1.00 for the water and $.98 for tax. What was most upsetting was his reaction when I called him out on his poor attitude. He was clearly upset that I questioned him and became even more condescending and unprofessional in his responses. When I asked for the owner’s name to voice my concerns about both the tap water charge and his behavior, he refused to provide it. This kind of service is completely uncalled for, especially after spending so much money. We’ve had great experiences in the past with other staff members, but this encounter has left a bad taste. It’s unfortunate that a family visit that should’ve been a simple and enjoyable meal turned into such a frustrating situation. The fact that he thinks he could get away with giving customers an attitude and rolling his eyes when I voiced my concerns is just terrible. At the end of the day, he is an employee and a representation of the business. Please be sure to check your Receipts should you dine here so there are No hidden unreasonable charges in your receipt.

Arrived to this location at 9 am and they were closed. Need to adjust their time on google, as it is misleading. We were looking forward to eating there unfortunately we couldn’t.
