Corazón Cocina Mexicana is praised for its vibrant atmosphere, colorful decor, and friendly service, especially from servers like Phoenix and Macario. Customers rave about the flavorful and authentic food, though some find certain dishes underwhelming or inconsistent.
Tip: Enjoy the lively atmosphere and friendly service. Be mindful that music can be a little loud.
We’ve visited Corazón Cocina Mexicana twice now while on vacation, and both times the food has been incredible. Everything tastes fresh, flavorful, and made with real care. It’s quickly become one of our favorite spots in Orlando. The atmosphere is welcoming, the service is friendly, and every dish we’ve tried has been delicious. We’re already looking forward to coming back on our next trip. We highly recommend to anyone looking for amazing Mexican food in the area.
Came here because of the bright lights like bug life. Soon as we walked in our server Mariln was quick to help us out and take our order. We got the corneasada and the steak fajitas, highly recommend the steak fajitas. Ended up coming back couple hours later for Margarita, I don't any of select of tequila. The decoration of this place is amazing live and very colorful. The bar seating is extremely nice with granite.Underneath your feet and against the wall! Also, another bartender named Jaime was very friendly and always following up if I needed anything els! Great place great atmosphere and open to 11pm during the week, thanks again guys!
Good spot for Mexican food in Orlando. I ordered the super burrito al pastor and the enchiladas supremas. Both dishes were well-prepared and flavorful. Portions were generous and everything tasted fresh. The service was also friendly and efficient.
We loved this place. Was a little skeptical as we pulled into the parking lot and there weren’t many cars in it, but glad we went in. The food was amazing, service was some of the best I have received in the past few months, and food portions were huge!
I had a wonderful experience at Corazón Cocina Mexicana! The food was incredibly flavorful and beautifully prepared, every dish tasted fresh, authentic, and absolutely delicious. Our server, Macario, made the visit even better. He was attentive, friendly, and provided excellent service throughout the meal. He checked in often without being intrusive and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, amazing food and outstanding service. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Simple review: Waitstaff was good. Kitchen staff was fast. Good was excellent! Tasty and perfectly seasoned. More authentic than other Mexican restaurants we've been to. The decorations in the dining room were very colorful, and interesting. Would I return? Yes, absolutely. Maybe even again this week while we are in town.
Feel like Mexican? Just go here!!!!! No words required, just go! All menus are delicious, hefty portion, and super friendly staff who will help you even if you're new to Mexican food. It's an incredibly fun and lively place.
Food was great! Decent serving size for the price. Atmosphere is whimsical. Huge selection of drinks. Servers came around frequent enough but not too much. Music is a little bit too loud.
The food was delicious and authentic. The restaurant was clean and decorated bright with florescent and fun. Service was excellent. Definitely would recommend
Everyone has their flavor, but I don’t think there’s a flavor in this place that isn’t perfection. Carnitas Tacos - tender meat, finished with fresh toppings, and a fresh soft tortilla that melts in your mouth. Carne Asada Tacos - were nothing short of a flavor bomb, from start to finish. Quesadilla - steak was absolutely tender cut, and flavorful, perfectly cooked with the quesadilla. Strawberry Margarita was amazing. Modelo on draft is like sipping heaven in a glass. From the atmosphere, and creatively decorated space, I really really enjoyed this place. The service felt like you were at your friends house just eating good food, and having a drink. I came here for my birthday, and it was an absolute hit. Definitely going to return to try more of their menu, and what they have to offer. Extremely satisfied.
Staying at the Ramada for the weekend. Wanted somewhere quick to eat. Stumbled upon this place and upon first walking in I was utterly amazed!!!! The scenery is BEAUTIFUL. Vibes are IMMACULATE. Service is WONDERFUL. Food and drinks are FANTASTIC 😍🤩 first time here and I can say myself and the two other people I was with confirm this was a great choice. 10/10!!!!!!! Check this place out 🤍
Very cute place with really great atmosphere. Our server Phoenix was a whole vibe. Very cool and helpful. Definitely order the empanadas! They’re cooked to perfection. And the Choripollo was hitting! Pitcher of margs included full pitcher and 2 starter drinks. Will definitely be back!
This is some of the best mexican food I have ever had in the states. First of all, the decor of the place is so fun. I love all the neon lights and colors, it definitely screams mexican! We were so intrigued by the outside of the place and that is what pulled us in to check it out. We loved it so much that we ended up going twice. The servers were very good and understood all of our requests and accomodations. We ordered the queso, pina colada's, steak fajitas, enchiladas, birria tacos and more and everything was so so delicious. Make sure you ask for the spicy salsa that they make in house, it is incredible! 10/10 recommend!
My husband and I thought Mexican sounded the best. This place had the best reviews and we could see why. We both ordered drinks (any of the margaritas. to. die. for. ) and an appetizer (crab dip 10/10) . Both came out within minutes. Our entrees (him burrito California/me quesadilla Bonita) were both very well portion sized. Both were very flavorful. Overall wonderful experience, very cozy atmosphere , and extremely speedy service. Would come again in a heartbeat and would recommend for anyone!
Absolutely fantastic choice of a restaurant. Food was very clean, delicious and large portions. Fast service. Reasonable prices which was a relief after overpriced resort restaurants. Atmosphere very pleasant and the bar is beautiful. I highly recommend.
Drinks great! Food excellent! Phoenix was a great server, made great suggestions and was always nearby if anything was needed. Whether a local or tourist I would definitely recommend. Can’t get easier to find, also
Festive decorations set the mood as you walk up to the door. We had an efficiently prepared takeout order of Diablo Shrimp ... just perfect spicy and wonderful flavors of onions, cilantro and tomatoes. Salsa on the side with chips, rice and beans. Tasty takeout!
Fantastic! My husband and I loved this place. It’s very bright and upbeat. All ages were dining tonight and they were busy but we got lucky and got right in. We expected it was going to be more expensive but it was very reasonable. The food is so good. Best chicken fajitas ever and my husband’s mahi tacos were excellent. Thanks to Macario for the great service. He checked in on us and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend Corazon Cocina Mexicana.
I really love the atmosphere. We originally went to Senor Frogz and noticed they wouldn't give chips and salsa for free. It would have been 11 bucks and salsa for 8. I think all Mexican restaurants should serve complimentary chips at least. Service was fast didn't evem need to ask for more chips. Food was muy bien.
Jaime was amazing! Very helpful with helping us navigate the menu. Atmosphere very welcoming. Greeted and seated as soon as we walked in! Will be coming back and recommend!
One of the best Mexican restaurants in Orlando. Everything is amazing. The restaurant is very clean. The decoration are very festive and our server Marcial was amazing and very helpful. The food is very tasty and everything came out really quick. and we didn’t have to wait too long. if you feel like eating a good Mexican food in Orlando ,Corazón restaurant, is the place to go.
Incredible Mexican food experience! We were so happy Corazon was right next to our hotel, walked over to it and had a wonderful meal. Queso and salsa with chips, then fajitas and burritos are what we ordered. Lots of vegetarian options. The interior is festive, the staff was friendly, and the food was delicious. This is a gem in Orlando!
We came in today and had Marcial, got some really great food and awesome busy atmosphere. Still got our food in 5 minutes! Universal resort people please come here!
Excellent service José made us the best margaritas! We came back two days in a row that's how good it was! The food was also amazing I recommend getting the fajitas quesadilla. PS. Definitely asked for Jose to make your margarita!
Marcial is the best waiter. We are staying at a universal resort and came over for lunch and we are so happy with the atmosphere. The food came out within minutes of ordering and they are so friendly. Thank you for great service !!
If you're staying near Universal's Endless Summer Resort, do yourself a favor and walk three minutes over to Corazón by Baires Cantina. It is hands down the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Everything was incredible, but the guacamole was next level—fresh, flavorful, and made perfectly. And the Rico Suave margarita? Absolutely everything. One of the best margaritas I’ve had anywhere. The atmosphere, the food, the drinks… all of it made the short trip completely worth it. If you’re anywhere near Endless Summer Resorts, you have to go. Trust me. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is truly some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. Not fancy weirdo Mexican, the authentic delicious kind. Little heavy on the onions in the ceviche and guacamole but otherwise perfect. La Organica margaritas were fresh and perfectly balanced.
Delicious food and a super fun atmosphere. Very friendly and attentive staff. We enjoyed this place so much during our vacation that we had dinner here twice. Highly recommend.
This is a place to go if you want fast service, hot food, and great drinks. The service was absolutely top-notch and the vibes were immaculate. They serve you chips and salsa to begin with free of cost which was amazing! I came here with my partner, and our bill came out to a total of $79 we both ordered 1 entrée each and each got two drinks, one which had a double shot of tequila. This was a great dinner. Check it out if you’re in the area!
Besides the wait time to get a table, everything else was delicious. Food and drinks were all very good and came pretty fast. Would definitely come back. Jaime was an amazing waiter and really made the experience 100x better!! Shout out to him!
We had such an amazing experience! Our server, Jaime, was by far one of the most welcoming and kind servers we’ve ever had. The food was incredible — I ordered the Arrachera and my husband had the Burrito California, and “delicious” doesn’t even begin to describe how flavorful everything was. We also enjoyed micheladas and a margarita, which were both amazing. Even the complimentary chips and salsa were delicious — super flavorful with the perfect amount of spice. Overall, we loved everything and will definitely be coming back. Thank you for the wonderful service and amazing food!
We had such an amazing experience at Corazón! My fiancé and I came here for a date night and absolutely fell in love with the place. The food was incredible, full of flavor, and clearly made with care — but the margaritas were hands-down the best thing ever. Perfectly balanced, refreshing, and dangerously good! 🍹 The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy each other’s company. We left already talking about when we’d be coming back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great Mexican food and unforgettable margaritas!
This was our 3rd time here at this restaurant and we haven’t had a negative experience yet. In fact, I insist on coming here every time we’re in town. The ambiance is perfect. Beautifully decorated and the food is fantastic. We always order the Holy mole guacamole and it’s the best I’ve ever had! We had a pitcher of the house mango margaritas tonight and we could barely finish them, there was so much! The entrees were equally as delicious! If you’re in the area and love Mexican food, do not miss this opportunity!
Sick of paying crazy food and drink prices on CityWalk and on I-drive, so we tried this place on our doorstep! Wow the welcome was really friendly and the service was excellent. The drinks were spot on and drink prices were very reasonable. Complimentary chips and salsa were a nice touch.Loads of choice on the menu-we went for steak and chicken enchiladas, they were delicious with rice/beans and salad. The atmosphere was that nice we had dessert and more drinks for just over half the bill we normally pay. Definitely a favourite place of ours now.
I have been coming to Orlando for over 10 years and I have never been here before and I feel like an idiot because this place is phenomenal! The service by Marcial was top notch and the food was out of this world! It was better than the food I had in Mexico. The atmosphere was cool, I will definitely be returning!
Right across from our hotel and wanted a low key night. Great surprise. The food was fresh and delicious!! Great drinks. Wonderful service. Thank you especially to Phoenix who went above and beyond. Made us feel like we were visiting family. We highly recommend this restaurant!!!
Hidden away off the main drag, didn’t look like much from the outside but don’t let looks deceive you. The food here is amazing, flavourful without making me regret my existence from spice. Portions are decent, server and food were quick and was easy going about my kids taking off a few items they don’t care for. The Birria was tender and not ropey and the chips they bring to the table are authentico!
Best meal in the U.S so far! I am fueled by a pitcher of frozen margarita as I write this, so bear with me. The decor is cool, the staff are lovely, the menu is thorough. I ordered the California burrito and it was as big as my forearm and it was delicious. We got the pineapple upside down cake pudding, churros and frozen ice-cream, all three were great but the pineapple cake wins! Thanks for the great food, I'm going to roll myself back to my room.
First of all Macario J is one of the most suave waiters at CORAZON in Orlando, FL. He gave grande exceptional service and made me feel at home. Shout out to the chef!!! 👨🏽🍳 the food was amazing!!! I will be telling all my friends, family and coworkers to come and dine at CORAZON!!! thank you so much for an amazing experience!!!
This place needs to go VIRAL!!! Absolutely top notch! Great salsa, awesome Queso dip, phenomenal Super Chimichanga, Gran Quesadilla was legit (according to 16 son), and the shrimp tacos were “worth everything”! Please support this New Mexican Restaurant!!!! Supported my son’s 16th Birthday in Grand fashion!!!
Wow! An old Chinese restaurant turned Mexican gem. Everything was delicious here. Great service, lively Mexican music (Mexican versions of American classics were on while we were here), a great experience on all fronts. Definitely recommend coming here if you're feeling up for some quality queso and chips, good salsa, or even just a dessert.
Super amazing decor! Everything is very fun! There is glow in the dark and gorgeous decorations! The service was very lovely. Immediately serviced and when asked the difference in margarita sizes, Marcial brought out all the glasses. The house margarita was amazingggg! The and the Flautas were wonderful. Very simple and delicious. I am on vacation and leaving this weekend but trust I shall be be back before then!! I'm very pleased! And again, Marcial was incredible!! The picture include shrip rice bowl, flautas, chicken fajitas, and jumbo house margarita!
Randomly came across this place after a long day at the parks. There was many other mexican restaurants to choose from but we're so glad we found this one. The food and experience was different than the norm, its apparent when you pull up. The decor is super modern and authentic. The menu has so much to choose from (be prepared its a little overwhelming). Once we made our choice we didn't regret any of it! Steak enchiladas, tacos and wonderful desserts. I had to ask for a spicy sauce and our waitress delivered...wow the habanero sauce was wonderful!
We enjoyed the skinny margaritas and the food. Pleasant staff and music. I ordered the chicken quesadilla. If you love onions this is a great dish. If you do not love onions just simply let the waiter or waitress know so they can make it to your liking. The chips, salsa and we ordered quest was great tasting. Everything was fresh. Everything was perfect.
Incredible atmosphere, but underwhelming food. The salads were great, but kinda small for almost $20. The monster burrito was good too, but it was a majority rice so I'm not certain I'd recommend it. The guacamole was great and I'd highly recommend it.
Everything we ate we enjoyed. We've been looking for a place that does good chips and salsa and they have it. Fast service. Food was great. Portions sized perfectly.
Amazing test. If you are a Mexican food lover then I am sure you will love it. It especially attracted me with their special veg options in menu card. As a vegetarian i really get very few selection but what ever we have ordered was really tasty and gave Mexican touch. Service was fantastic.
I really wanted to like this restaurant, I really did. But overall it was a mixed bag. The atmosphere was fun, lively - everyone seemed happy to be there. That was great. After that - it went down hill. The service was marginal. The waitress seemed like she would rather be anywhere else - maybe home doing laundry. She took our order - then completely disappeared and didn’t return until it was time for the check (Which we waited for long after we were done with our meal). The food was meh - my wife had mole enchiladas and I had the supreme enchiladas with four different types of enchiladas with ranchero sauce. We both felt the tortillas were bland and kind of hard. They looked better than they tasted. We will probably give them a second chance another time and hope for better service and try different entrees. Really want this fun place to succeed.
The tacos were average and portion size of the rice and beans were extremely small. We got the house margarita and strawberry margarita, they were a bit disappointing because we couldn’t even taste any alcohol. It’s a fun atmosphere and the servers were friendly. We went during lunch time and waited an extremely long time for just tacos.
Carazon passed the vibe check, but the food was underwhelming. The decor gives an authentic mexican vibe. We ordered the crab dip, taco salad and another salad. Definitely would Not recommend the crab dip. Salads were average. Overall, a cool place to hang out but wouldn't go back if hungry.
Place looks great, however we asked for the enchiladas with the red sauce and the sauce tasted as if it came from a can and thrown on top of the enchiladas and put in the microwave to heat. We also ordered beer, however, the enchiladas came before the beer. We wanted to enjoy the beer first, but since the enchiladas came so fast, we were not able to enjoy the beer nor the food. Is a shame as the place is in a good location. Sorry but I won’t recommend.
Cadillac Margaritas excellent. Good service atmosphere. Seats uncomfortable. We had a a french fry in our Chips and Salsa. We were some of there first customers a 5 pm so wondering if food was left over from prior day. Definitely had the vibe you were in a authentic Mexican restaurant both good and questionable.
Husband & I were in Orlando for the day & decided to try a new place especially with 4.8 stars! We purchased flautas, arroz con Pollo, a side of rice, beans and churros... spent almost $60. We didn't check the bag since we had a 2 hour drive home, it was late and we just wanted to get home to eat. Our churros were not in the bag and we couldn't reach a manager to discuss the issue. Aside from that, the refried bean sides were bland. The main dishes were good. The arroz con Pollo was delicious. The location was beautiful. Lots of gorgeous lights. Moral of the story, check your bags to make sure all your food is there.
You people need to write honest reviews. The “best queso I’ve ever had” really? It’s melted white cheese with nothing in it…no seasoning just melted cheese. Our server was terrible she sat us and then disappeared for a while then came back to take our order and the language barrier was terrible. No personality, no suggestions, just an order. The food is mediocre and cheap cuts. Rice and beans are so bland, and fajitas…come one man some reviewer said chicken was moist and flavorful haha you must have been drinking. I know when I’ve had a few crappy food taste great too. I wanted to like this place with 4.8 score but it’s pushing it to give it 3 stars.
We were seated at a booth that was clearly designed without comfort in mind—the table was awkwardly close, leaving only about 12 inches between the edge and the backrest, while the booth across from us was properly spaced. The music was blaring at club volume, making it nearly impossible to have a normal conversation or hear the server. As for the food, the Carne Asada was disappointing. The portion was paper-thin, riddled with fat, and lacked any real substance—my wife’s leather purse has more thickness. At $24, you’d expect a higher-quality cut of meat, and why is Carne Asada padded with lettuce, sour cream, to make it seem like a full plate? It was also served with cold rice. (Photos attached for reference.) My daughter’s tacos tasted fine, but they came served in a bright, plastic, processed-cheese-colored taco holder that made the entire presentation look cheap and unappetizing.
Too chunky salsa, more onions than anything. Queso was wonderful. Taste was perfect and didn’t solidify after sitting. You have to pay for chips and salsa refills after 2 and you get a lot of crumbs and the salsa bowls are extremely small. Menu is extremely over saturated-too many words- too many items. And everything is way over priced, especially for the portion size you get. Service is extremely mediocre but the atmosphere is amazing with all of the neon colors, the music was nice and not too loud once you get in but the seating was absolutely dreadful. You feel like you’re falling out of your seats the entire time. Overall would rate the entire experience 6/10
$23 for 10 shrimp in spaghetti sauce with 1/3 cup of rice and beans and some veggies is so not worth it. We arrived during lunch and they still charged us dinner prices. Really small portions and mine tasted like they smothered it in spaghetti sauce with a little added spice. My daughter never finishes her food and she ate every bite being the portions were small. The food made me sick and went right through me. The chips were overcooked. Not sure how white rice with frozen peas and corn is considered “authentic” unless you mean authentic white American cafeteria food. The staff were nice when they showed up. They messed up my drink and I didn’t say anything. They noticed and came and brought me a new drink. It was really slow and the waitress never checked on us and we had to wait a long time to pay because they were nowhere around. Two small plates of food and a tea and it was $54. I travel all over and have never spent this much, have never had portions this small for even less money, and I’ve never been so disappointed in the taste of this particular dish. The restaurant is really cool looking and like I said, the staff were nice when they came around. Otherwise, they would have gotten 1 star.
The food here is underwhelming . Our birria tacos were mostly inedible connective tissues and all fat instead of a nice cut of beef, the salads had very little vegetables that were not fresh. The service was very inattentive and the waitress could not really understand English , and it took her 40 mins to grab us water . The decor was nice and it had a lot of kids.
Went here on a Monday evening with the family for our first time. Looks nice from the outside and the inside decor was nice and colourful . Waited 45 mins to get seated even though there was lots of empty tables. Once seated we ordered quickly but food took another half hour to arrive. I ordered the super burrito which tasted good but was very small. My wife is vegetarian and ordered a vegetarian bowl only to bite into a hunk of meat on her second bite. She returned it and didn’t order anything else. Kids meals were small and son may or may not have gotten diarrhea from his food as soon as we got back to our hotel. Very disappointing as it had a 4.8 in Google reviews. Needs to hire more staff as lots of people were waiting at the door while there was lots of empty tables inside.
I was very disappointed in the food and gluten free options. My rice and beans were cold and my wives too. They changed it for very very hot temp food. The chicken tamales were very small and one was extra small hard and dehydrated. I couldn't eat it. We both got sick from the food after. Stomach hurts! The colors, neon lights , decor was cool but the food horrible. I won't be back here again. You have been warned..
Tourist Trap Restaurant closes at 12:30. Got there at 11:15. Walked away in the middle of seating us. Someone else came and sat us. A few minutes later we were asked what drinks we wanted. Got them. Came to get our order and we had some questions. The server seemed to no speak enough English to understand and then rushed us saying that the kitchen closes in 5 minutes. Then we had to completely change our order because I couldn't customize the taco salad and add beans. Got the combo. The cheese enchilada was cold, the cheese wasn't melted. The quesadilla had a pittance of cheese. The taco was meh. The rice and beans were the smallest helping I've ever seen. The food was bland. It was disappointing to say the least. I love Mexican food and was hoping a new local establishment would be good, it was a complete disappointment.
I LOVE Mexican food and I’m VERY disappointed with with I received as takeout. I order a quesadilla and asked for the sauce, sour cream, Gac, salad on the side so that the quesadilla isn’t soggy by the time I get home and of course they just put everything on top, I also order a side a guacamole, they might as well just give the the WHOLE avocado and ingredients and have me do it myself, it’s nothing but cut avocado, basically a avocado salad, this isn’t guacamole. We spent about $56. Very very disappointing. Quesadillas looks a mess and it was a mess
