You can uber or lyft here the drop off and pick up is at the same spot and near the gate. Parking is not free. The park is big actually too big as time of May 2025 I think there was still construction going on so some space were left empty or closed. And it could have more shaded area the sun is brutal. Many free water fountains through out the park so bring your own bottle or get one from any food vendor shall be free. Of course plan wisely those hot rides are usually packed, I suggest go at park opening or close. I got on Harry porter at park close and line was only about 40 mins. And yes once you get in line you can stay pass park close time so don't worry. STARDUST is my favorite ride, it is a unique ride where two coaster race each other it makes you feel you are racing like in F1 really great! Highly recommend for those who like speed. And it is usually short queue it only takes me 10 mins around 4pm afternoon. Mario section is by far the greatest, fun section of the whole park and be sure to purchase the band (not cheap I think 50 usd) and use universal app to gather coins, badge and a HIDDEN RIDE! once you pass those small games in the mario section.
I had an amazing experience at Epic Universe. I've seen a lot of complaints about wait times being incredibly high, but for the quality of the experience a little waiting is worth it. I know of people who went, without express passes, who basically rode everything in the park. As for my experience, I had a blast. I visited the park for two days, one with and one without express pass. Highlights included Hiccup's Wing Gliders coaster, Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment, The Untamable Dragon, Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry, and Pizza Moon. However, that's not to say there weren't bumps along the duration of the trip. I actually felt terribly ill on my first day at Epic, the day which we had planned to use our express passes. I wasn't able to ride anything that day, only being able to see both of the shows the park currently offers before leaving around about four. Thats not to say that was necessarily a problem with the park, in fact, this situation also leads me to another one of my praises for Epic, customer support. Once we explained the situation to customer support, they offered to move our express passes to the second day of our trip, seeing as we weren't going to go on any rides that day. In terms of ways Universal could improve this park, I like many people would recommend adding shade, greater capacity, and faster ride operations.
I recently visited Epic Universe and after coming to this park for the 5th time since its opening, it’s safe to say it’s one of the best new theme parks in the country! Its immersive atmosphere really makes you feel like your visiting the real life settings on the world your visiting. I highly recommend going to Dark Universe first; Monsters unchained is the best dark ride ever made, it makes Forbidden Journey look ancient! The visuals and ride queue are stunning and less repetitive than expected, once your in the ride itself, the animatronics are out of this world, they move realistically and smoothly and make those like the dinosaurs from River Adventure a joke. However, out of all the rides in this park, celestial park and stardust racers don’t get enough love, it’s a beautiful place to walk around and take scenic pictures, I do think however, stardust racers is slower than velocicoaster, it’s more like dueling dragons. The only world that didn’t grab much attention was the new Harry Potter world, the ride queue is the best there is but the ride itself is way too short. Speaking of short, the only downside from this park is how short the rides are compared to the ticket prices you pay to visit on top of parking. The werewolf coaster and donkey con are fun but should be longer, it’s a shame these rides always have 30+ wait times and only last less than a minute. I don’t think express is worth it unless you plan on riding more than once on the same attraction. Honestly, this park is a win regardless, as a passholder I’m excited when universal finally adds epic to the passes, I think it’s best to visit epic when it’s bundled with IOA and USF, you get the best price and it’s actually more affordable than when visiting just the single park only. Overall, this park is mind blowing but not 10/10. It needs improvements like more attractions and longer rides but as a new park I’m not surprise these aren’t present. Universal is smart to include these changes later to increase ticket sales and guest capacity considering since the parking lot is the size of 5 football fields.
Epic Universe has truly earned its name - it's a game-changer! As the newest Universal park, it's clear that no expense was spared in creating an immersive experience that will leave you starstruck. With its dazzling landscapes, ingenious portals, and heart-pumping rides like Stardust Racers, this park is the perfect destination for thrill-seekers and families alike. One of the standout aspects is undoubtedly the outstanding quality of the food. It's a testament to the culinary team's expertise that they can deliver dishes this impressive in a theme park setting. I'm not going to sugarcoat it – our visit to the theme park had its hiccups. The weather didn't cooperate, and some rides were temporarily out of commission. However, we were still blown away by the park's beauty and potential. As with any new venture, there are bound to be growing pains. So, if you're planning a visit, be prepared for possible delays and closures. Remember that opening a new park with all new rides is a big undertaking, and it's normal for things to take a little time to fall into place. Be patient with the team members as they work hard to get everything running smoothly. Trust me, it's going to be worth it – this park is going to be amazing once it hits its stride! Epic Universe has truly won us over, and we can't wait to return next year for another stellar experience!
So beautiful! Every park is truly amazing, especially Nintendo and Isle of berk! Every universe is detailed and very realistic! The wait times are pretty long but most the rides are worth it! The food is amazing and much better than normal six flags food 😂. I definitely recommend coming here, I got teary eyed when I went to Isle of Berk because of how nostalgic it was! Even though most say its not worth it because of the ride times, I would say otherwise. You just have to experience it for yourself!
This place is incredible. I had a great time going with my daughter and grandchildren in early December. I cannot believe a place like this even exists. All the worlds are incredible and beautiful . The layout of the park is great. It’s basically a huge circle you walk and the different worlds connect to it. I rode Yoshi, Mariokart, Frye Drill and the carousel and Monster Unchained. We went to both plays at the park. My daughter was able to also ride MOM . We spent from pretty much 10 am to 10 pm at the park. We never waited for more than 45 minutes and honestly even waiting was great as the cues are fantastic and there is so much to see. Just being able to look around this park and see so many things come to life from books , film and a video game is amazing. The details are spot on. The staff are fantastic. They all seemed happy to be there and were definitely enjoying the roles they were playing. I don’t know where else you could feel like your actually in Paris , then step into a video game, then go to a world where dragons exists , to then see the monsters that grew up scaring you come together in one place . It’s Amazing and a childhood dream fantasy come true.
Went with my father and had a fantastic time! The theming is truly next level and makes me only more excited about what’s coming in the future. My only complaint is the wait times, but that’s expected with a brand new park. I was able to do 6 rides from opening to close, missing out on ministry and minecart madness because the waits were just too much. The food was good and not bad for the prices, still not cheap though. I highly recommend pacing yourself and not rushing to do everything. You 100% need more than one day to do everything because there’s so much! It has problems, but Epic Universe is easily the best theme park experience in Orlando today.
Great NEW PARK! Tons of rides and shows, stores with ‘reasonable’ pricing (it is an amusement park after all) great curated food and the amount of water stations blew my mind! No one can get dehydrated here! My husband and I went on a thursday and were able to do every ride without express pass and mainly using the single rider lane(yes you get separated) the rides are all fairly unique and some are FAST!!! mario world was amazing and really enjoyed the portals!
Celebrated my birthday at Epic Park and it was one of the best birthdays ever 🎉 The park is absolutely stunning - so aesthetically pleasing and incredibly fun. Every area feels immersive, and there’s something exciting around every corner. From thrilling rides to amazing shows, Epic Park truly delivers an unforgettable experience. Top must-visit attractions: 1. Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry 2. Le Cirque Arcanus (1-hour show / a must for Fantastic Beasts fans) 3. Dragon Racer’s Rally 4. Fyre Drill 5. Hiccup’s Wing Gliders - unbeatable views at night 6. The Untrainable Dragon (20-minute show) 7. Monsters Unchained 8. Curse of the Werewolf Highly recommend Epic Park for celebrations or just an epic day full of magic and adrenaline! ✨
Incredible park for young adults and detail oriented people. Each area of the park is made in extreme detail and I was definitely surprised by it! Yes,the waiting times were huge +120 minutes, specially for the Ministry of Magic and The Mine Cart Madness. But if you have your Universal app in hand and be strategic with your time, you can definitely hit all the mahor attractions. I went on a Tuesday, which definitely helps with the lines, but some of the attractions were still full. Some of the musts if your a hill thrill seeker and/or coaster enthusiast is Stardust Racers, specially front row at the Green and back row at the yellow. Monsters unchained which is an incredible simulator themed to classic monsters. And Hiccup's wing gliders coaster, which have the appropriate amount of thrill. Honestly, the food was incredibly and cheaper then I expected. Try the Hooligans in the Isle of Bark! As an theme park enthusiast this park definitely exceeded expectations for me, and made me emotional when it came to the details of each land. It definitely makes you feel you're in a different reality. Some tips, come at 9am, as the gate opens at that time. Head directly to the Ministry of Magic and then go from there. Try both sides of Stardust Racers and try to go to Donkey Kong later in the day.

Beautiful, very picturesque, clean, new park. Unfortunately, they have some improving to do. There are only 11 rides in the entire park. Majority are for the children. There were several rides closed for the day or closing early the day we went. The lines were ridiculous as to be expected. The concept of the portals was cool. The designing and architectural presentation was phenomenal. Plenty of delicious food to eat anywhere you go. Lots of drinks and snacks everywhere as well. Don't forget the butter beer!!! Soooooooooooo much merchandising. There are no busses to take you to the entrance from anywhere in the parking lot. Prime parking is not worth the cost. Ofcourse for a lot more, valet is literally right in front of the entrance. Staff was polite and welcoming.
Definitely worth had spent 3+ hours in Nintendo world and another 2-3 in Ministry of Magic. Would definitely recommend a multiple day pass for this park as wait times can get long, and maybe a fast pass for Ministry (We waited 4 hours vs 1 hour for someone who had fast pass for Ministry). It did go down along with the DK ride but as me and mine are not from Florida we decided to wait to ride.
I’d give 5 stars overall, but Mario World felt a little overwhelming — maybe social media set the bar a little too high for us. Dark Universe was 5/5. Huge shoutout to Giselle at the Darkmoor Monster Makeup Experience. My 6-year-old felt like she was in a legit monster salon and even said, “I’m going to make Frankenstein her man!” We’re already planning another Monster Makeover when we come back in May. Isle of Berk is also 5/5. The Untrainable Dragon show is a must, and keep an eye out for Gobber and Pouncer for great photo ops. Wizarding World of Harry Potter — 5/5. Rides were awesome, and wait times were honestly 20–30 minutes shorter than posted. The wand assistants were incredible. My daughter broke her wand dragging it on the ground, and they fixed it on the spot for free. That kind of service stands out. Also… be careful with the Epic Piña Coladas. They go down way too easy.
I usually will do some research before going to an amusement park but this time I did not. My goal was to go to Harry Potter land and the super Nintendo land. We were let in around 945 and the park does not officially open until 10am. Went first to ask about the front of the line passes they were sold out already. Went directly to Harry Potter and the line for the ride was already at 6 hours and they closed it off!! (We did go back later to see if it was any better and it was still a 3 hour wait) Walked around the areas. Nintendo land was super crazy packed, the monsters area was pretty neat I was surprised by how much I liked it. And th how to train your dragon area was a pleasant surprise as well. At the price of the tickets I would not go again, I'm glad I got to experience it but it was a lot of money
Small popular areas like mario bros but overall good. The park could use more decor like, to bring out that fantasy land feel. The lines are ridiculous and the price for fast pass is nearly fraud lol. Seriously though, its cool once and then its just cool to talk about but, not the best theme park. 4 stars for cleanliness, good service, being new, great new concepts and ideas. Also good parking.
I’ll start by saying: DONT DO SINGLE RIDERS!!!! They say that they don’t promise it’ll be quicker than general admission. It’s definitely not. Especially if you’re going in a group. We did Stardust Racers and Mine-Cart Madness as single riders. Worst mistake ever. It definitely takes longer than general. You see people moving in general and you’re still stuck in the same spot as you did 30 minutes ago. With that being said, Stardust Racers is the best ride in all Universal Studios World. We did it thrice, and would’ve done it again if we had time. Bowser’s ride was the biggest disappointment. Really bad experience, goggles don’t go all the way and takes you out of the experience. We didn’t have time for Harry Potter and the Ministry ride. It was a LONG waiting time and they closed early. They said they were closing early so that’s on us. We did a photo package and compared to Island and Universal Studios it felt lackluster. There weren’t any photographers, only at the park entrance. We went to meet Mario and Luigi and the photographer wasn’t there so they took it with my phone and results were AWFUL, as shown. Also, at a ride they covered my face with the frame (?) hahaha We ate pizza (great), a weird kind of soda/ice cream at the bubbly barrel and TO ME and my boyfriend, it wasn’t good. Bad combo. Overall experience: I would go back only for Stardust Racers, Hiccups wing glider was also good, and to try Harry’s ride. Don’t waste any time at bowsers, it’s a long wait time and not worth it!!!

Epic Universe is a Universal Theme Park, and the decor is a top attraction for folks as you walk into the park and are amazed at the little points surrounding what is the basic theme park ride set - the portals here take you to the Isle of Berk (How to Train Your Dragon), Wizarding World of Harry Potter (Ministry of Magic, Paris flair), Super Nintendo World (very cool entry up a green tube into a crazy colored world), Dark Universe (no seeming connection but a story about monsters), and the Celestial Park in the middle. First the good things - - awesome themes - onsite hotel and also early entry for premium property guests - starting 2026, included in multi-park or multi-park unlimited passes - the mac & cheese bread cones in Berk are awesome at Hooligan's Grog & Gruel - Stardust Racers is even better at night... green or yellow track - great butterbeer (frozen!) in HP world - fun minigames you can do in the Nintendo world with the Mario watch (you have to buy this) - some single rider lines While the decor is top-notch, the park suffers from a number of challenges - - rides break down, get stuck and just don't always work, building lines in a park that really has only 10 rides and a few shows... the number of people allowed in to the ride ratio meant waits over 180-200-240min sometimes... not great - express pass or nothing problem - they let all the express pass people on first on the rides, which backs up the normal standby queues to insane levels...they need to do a 8/2 ratio or something better to keep the regular line moving. if you're there only once, you can get an express pass to do it all, because otherwise it'd take multiple days during peak seasons (off peak I heard is better, but that may not be feasible for everyone) - express pass expense... this is true of all the Universal parks - tickets as or more expensive than getting into the park itself - lines at the food... similar problem, lots of people, not a lot of food options, so it gets packed... Overall, fun experience when we did get to ride if something wasn't broken and the line wasn't multiple hours long... BotMM was a bit of a let down compared to what we thought it'd be - but Stardust Racers was fantastic (thankfully not stuck/down when we were there). Note that inclement weather closes some rides so watch the weather. Parking here is better (it's own lot) compared to the other Universal parks - no cool parking deck but much closer to the park entry.
We decided to visit this park despite the bad reviews and low ratings hoping it couldn’t be that bad. Unfortunately, it was as bad as expected. Everything about this place feels designed to make your experience as frustrating as possible to make sure you spend as much as possible. After reading the reviews, we concluded we needed to pay the extra for the $320 per person Express Pass, thinking it would save us from endless lines hoping we could do the park in one day. The system is set up so that you still wait with everyone else to enter closed worlds like Super Mario and can only use your pass once you reach the attraction. You still end up wasting time in line even after paying a small fortune. To make matters worse, the pass doesn’t even cover all the rides. They advertise they open at 10, but the gates actually open at 9, meaning by the time you arrive “on time,” it’s already packed. To be fair, a few things worked well: the mobile meal ordering system, facial-recognition lockers, and the Express Pass itself (when it applies). With the pass, we managed to do all the major rides before dinner. And yes, the park does look beautiful at night with all the lights. Still, despite the outrageous pricing and the chaotic crowd management, this park was fun. At the end of the day, my son summed it up perfectly, the other parks felt superior, not just for the rides, but because we never needed an Express Pass to enjoy them all these years.
Ok so people all over Tik Tok have been raving about this place. I should've just gotten the dang buns and I will definitely do that next time. The Ttebokki Skewer was hyped so much that I got it but…

I have been to several dozen theme parks in my life. This was by far the worse one. There were too many visitors and too few functional rides in the park. 1/3 of the attractions that I was in were delayed or canceled. I was stuck in a line for 3 hours in the Harry Potter and The Battle at the Ministry. The ride lasted less than a minutes. I was expecting a 100 minutes of wait but it turned into a 3 hours due to malfunction delay. I was only able to do 6 rides total for 11 hours. In addition, the restaurant was extremely slow. We went to The Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant. 70% of the restaurant was emptied but we still had to wait 20 minutes to get seated. I thought this was supposed a low season in late January. I couldn't image if I come in during a peak season. It felt like the park was designed for you to wait all the time and tried to upsell you with expensive express pass. If the park could told me to pay double in order to get a normal experience out of this, I would be glad to pay for that in advance. My advice is to buy express pass if you want to come to Universal Epic Universe.
I visited this park shortly after it opened and in November and had an excellent experience. It felt innovative, immersive, and absolutely worth the excitement surrounding it. That positive visit is the only reason I returned. Today, however, has been deeply disappointing. I have been in the park for almost two hours, and three major headliner experiences have already been delayed: the Harry Potter ride, the Harry Potter show, and Stardust Racers. These are not secondary attractions—they are core reasons people come to this park. Guests do not arrive here casually. We plan these trips weeks or months in advance, coordinate time off, travel long distances, and pay premium prices for admission, lodging, and transportation. When multiple flagship attractions are down simultaneously for extended periods, it significantly diminishes the value of the entire day. I understand that this is a newer park and that technical challenges can arise. But at this price point, reliability matters. When guests invest this much time, money, and effort just to be here, the expectation is that the park’s most important rides and shows will be operational. This park has extraordinary potential—I’ve already experienced it at its best. But until consistency and reliability improve, it is difficult to justify the cost for a return visit.
