We catered for our daughter’s wedding from Tabla Indian Restaurant in Orlando for about 100 people. The wedding was in Tampa in an outdoor setting. The food was fantastic and our guests loved the food. We had three live stations serving coconut water, grilled chicken skewers and aloo chat along with masala tea and mango lassi. Dinner included. a fabulous spread with butter naan, veg and non veg entrees..too many to list. Desserts included gulab jamun and rasmalai. Chef Manoj and onsite manager Sahil were very friendly and attentive to our guests. I highly recommend this place! Great job.

Had such a great experience at tabla and I just have to shout out Ansari. He was so kind and respectful from the moment I sat down. He made sure everything came out on time, checked on me without being overbearing, and made sure i had everything I needed for my Iftar. You can tell he genuinely cares about giving good service. Everything was perfect and he definitely made the night even better. I’ll for sure be coming back and asking for him again.

Ordered for delivery. Was absolutely delicious! The online picture of the Mango Behl had pomegranate shown sprinkled on top, but that’s not what arrived. Regardless, it was still a great dish with a little bit of spice to it. The rasmali was also delicious! It was white in color, as it should be (I’ve seen other places make them a light yellow) and the perfect amount of sweetness. Will be ordering from here again.

We had lunch today at Tabla Indian Restaurant, and it was simply excellent! 🙌 From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. As a family with two children, it was the perfect atmosphere — relaxed, comfortable, and very family-friendly. What really impressed us was the wide range of gluten-free options. It felt like almost every dish could be made gluten-free, which is truly exceptional. The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned — authentic Indian taste without being too spicy for the kids. And the drinks were even on the house, which was such a kind gesture 🫶 We’ll definitely be coming back and can highly recommend this restaurant to families and anyone with gluten intolerance. A real gem in Orlando! 🌿🍛✨

We had a wonderful experience at Tabla, but what truly made the night was Valentine. While the lemon coriander soup and paneer tikka were delicious, his awesome service was the real highlight. He was incredibly warm and attentive, making us feel genuinely welcomed. It’s rare to find hospitality this heartfelt- Valentine turned a good meal into a memorable one!

Great indian food and awesome environment, our server Shadab was really kind and helped us with choosing right dish as per our taste and liking. Definetly a go to place for Indian food if you are in Orlando. We ordered Kadhai chicken (thick gravy) and malai kofta (little bit on creamy and sweeter side). Breads were well cooked to perfection.

Tabla Restaurant is a must try place in Orlando near Universal Studios. Chili garlic paneer was really out of the world and Pani Puri. Chai Super good quality.

We had the Chaat Platter and Lamb Vindaloo. 10/10 wish we lived closer so we could be regulars! The garlic naan was the best I’ve ever had! Shadab was out waiter and he was very attentive.

We definitely wanted to check what the fuss was all about after seeing this restaurant was having a 4.5 stars on 5 out of 9000 reviews. Must say that we were not disappointed with the food but some of the waiters tend to show a little arrogance. Liked most of the dishes we ordered. Gobi Manchurian was crispy and paneer tikka masala was tasty. Paneer was a touch older but it was not too old. The dishes are served within a few minutes of the order. Could be that they might have reheated some of the dishes but which restaurants don’t do that? A little too expensive I must say but I think none of the other Indian restaurants around town is that good to compete on pricing and the location. Overall I would say it’s a 4.5 or a 4.25 on 5.

Nice Indian flavored food we tried the the Drums of heaven, Mix pakora and table mix biyani with my always favorite Mango Lassi. We went their on our wedding anniversary day. So our server Vanisree was so attentive and at the end of our dinner she did provide us the fresh hot Gulab jamon and said happy anniversary it was an amazing time and good nice ambience we recommend it to those who love indian food! 🙂

We just enjoyed an amazing lunch at Tabla for our anniversary! We ordered from the new lunch menu selecting from the Non-Veg options (Tomato Shorba soup and Lemon Coriander soup, and entrees of Butter Chicken and Homestyle Chicken Curry) and a Mocktail Mango Lassi. This was by far our best and favorite meal on this entire trip. The food was cooked to perfection with amazing flavor. The Mango Lassi was flavorful and very refreshing. Needless to say, we left extremely satisfied with a promise to return (likely tomorrow for lunch!). Our server Melo was very attentive and helpful. I do not hesitate to recommend Tabla to anyone looking for an affordable and delicious meal while visiting the area. We will definitely be returning!

This is the best Indian cuisine I have ever eaten. We had Melo as our waiter and he was so attentive and kind. He helped us pick off the menu and his selections were the best. We drove 2 hours to eat here and we will be coming back soon. The restaurant was so clean and many of the other customers eating here were Indian two so we knew that we were eating at an authentic Indian location. We would highly recommend to anyone to eat here. There was also immediate seat time. And our food came out very quickly.

I had a wonderful dining experience at Tabla Indian Restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious and full of authentic flavors. Every dish was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. It was honestly one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. The service was just as impressive as the food. The assistant manager was very attentive, friendly, and made sure everything went smoothly throughout my visit. The staff overall provided excellent service, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend Tabla to anyone looking for delicious Indian cuisine paired with outstanding hospitality. I will definitely be coming back!

As Pakistanis, our bar for desi restaurants is really high, and this place hit the mark. The food is all so flavorful and fantastic and halal! Really really enjoyed their chaat platter, especially with the whole little jug of imlee ki chutney (tamarind chutney). Great mango lassi. Great service. Definitely adding this to the list of Orlando eats to visit.

This is the best Indian food I have had in last 10 years of living away from India. Hands down the best food. Food is so scrumptious that it’s injustice to describe in words. I don’t usually post reviews but when I do i make sure it’s 100% accurate and honest. I promise don’t consider any negative reviews for this restaurant. People who are posting negative don’t have those taste buds or those people are just negative about everything in life. There’s no otherwise. Pro tip - Try their Cassata ice cream. I was visiting from Toronto and this kinda Indian food just makes it worth while. Highly recommend.

Hidden behind a hotel, Tabla was a difficult find for someone not staying at said hotel. However, entering the chic and fragrant Tabla, I was pleased to find delicious Indian food with large serving sizes. The weekday special, where you get an entree as well as access to the appetizer and dessert bar, was a fan favorite, with many tasty items to try. The service was kind and expedient, with hardly a moment going by before a need was met right away, whether it be water or the check. Tabla was quite the experience, one that I will be returning for the next time I can.

Full disclosure: I love Indian food, and have tried Indian restaurants in many states and several countries, so have become a bit of a critic. And, I normally don't trust places that do Indian and Thai and Chinese, multiple cuisines all in one place. I just had to leave a review though because this place is so excellent! Ambiance, service, cleanliness, and food all spectacular. This is my new favorite hands down!!! If you're deciding among restaurants, just choose this one! You'll be happy you did!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at an incredible Indian restaurant, and it was truly an unforgettable experience from start to finish. We had ordered chilli chicken (dry) from the appetizers section, indo-chinese noodles , masala soda, berry soda , mango tiramisu and gulab jamun creme brûlée. The service was pretty fast - we didn’t have to wait too long for our orders at all! And the food items were really delish. I really appreciate our table attendant Sonal for being patient with us with our orders(we took some time deciding our order :) ) and really courteous! Overall this is 5/5 kind of place and highly recommended to anyone who is craving for Indian food and is visiting Orlando.

Tandori chicken, lamb Rogangosh and chicken Tikka Masala were all excellent. We ate here the first night we visited Universal theme parks and liked it so much we returned the second night. We had Pad Thai also which was decent, but I recommend ordering Indian food only here. That's where this place shines! Yummy!

Mr. Richards is the guy to see here if you want an excellent experience! This is the BEST Indian food I've ever had this far in my life. The cauliflower appetizer nearly knocked me off my chair with its perfection. The balance of spice and savory flavors were amazing. The Naan freshly baked and piping hot, you can't go wrong with any of the flavors. We also had some sorta combination dish a table next to us shared as soon as it came out, they quickly realized it was going to be too much to finish. One gentleman commented that where they are from many people don't have food to eat and insisted so it didn't go to waste so we gladly accepted. It was a really cool experience! Highly recommend a stop here!

We had an absolutely amazing experience at Tabla Indian Restaurant in Orlando! We enjoyed their lunch specials. The food was flavorful, beautifully presented, and perfectly spiced — truly some of the best Indian cuisine we’ve had. Every dish thoughtfully prepared. Great food! One of the best restaurants I ever ate! The dishes are very flavorful, the presentation is superb! I also love how unique the dishes are. For instance I had a carrot pudding for my dessert and it was excellent- sweet enough, but also light! The service was also top notch! It looks like the server genuinely cared about my experience! Thank you so much for such a treat!

We travelled from Canada to Orlando for a week and randomly we googled Indian restaurant and we found them. We ate once on our second day of arrival in Orlando and we had our lunches daily with them. Team is awesome, food is top notch quality and tastes, I am not sure how but for sure I can say they use fresh ingredients to make the delicious gravy and other food. I recommend everyone who is looking to dine in or take away Indian food specially North Indian food, Must try this place. Keep it up team Tabla, Orlando, Grand National Location.

I was in Orlando with my family to visit Disney. After late night fireworks, looking for good Indian food and as Tourist place, I was not too optimistic about getting ok Indian food and that also that late. However, I was amazed with quality I got in Tabla restaurant. I ordered their top rated Paneer Tikka masala and it was so tasty. My kids loved it. We could get details about spice level of the dish before preparing which was helpful, specially ordering for kids. Garlic Naan was well baked and nice. The Samosas were so good and most importantly less oily. I would highly recommend to those who are looking for the authentic Indian food in Orlando FL.(at least I can definitely say about vegetarian dishes) Another + item is they are open till 11 pm.

We were visiting Orlando and thought to try Tabla Indian Restaurant. Food was great. We asked for 1 star but there was still spicy in our food. We had a mocktail that was super sweet and we did not like. Our waiter Sai decided to take it off our check which was very kind of him. He did not have to do that but we appreciate it. I would recommend this place.

This restaurant was amazing! It is near to Universal studios Orlando The food menu was exactly what you will get in India - with a lot of options too which choose from! Be it Desi-Chinese, Tandoor dishes, Biriyani or Indian desserts with fusion hint (if you like!) We were surprised to see Soya Chaap on their menu & had to obviously try that out with a garlic naan! Their masala chai was delicious too. I wanted to come back to the restaurant again the next day but unfortunately we were located too far away We enjoyed our sumptuous lunch here

Approaching the restaurant labeled "Tabla: Indian. Chinese. Thai" after a conference at a nearby hotel I was a bit skeptical that they could deliver quality cuisine with such diverse offerings. But our first meal at Tabla proved to be absolutely incredible, the ambiance is wonderful, and the service is absolutely outstanding but in a very sincere and friendly manner. We returned the next day and were welcomed for another incredibly delicious experience where they proved their expertise with different cultural cuisine than what we each ordered the day before. If you're in the area and you like a variety of flavorful food I highly recommend dining here!

We were shocked at just got good the food is here. At a hotel a restaurant doesn't really need to be that good; we ate here because it was convenient and had some of the best indian food we have ever had. Highly recommend the kashmiri chicken and biryani. We had great service all around.

Truth Only

we found this restaurant being it was a good indian restaurant in the orlando area. had to pay a visit and was not disappointed despite the negative reviews. me and my lady came and we had to wait about 25 minutes host said it would be about 45 minutes so that wasn’t that bad . got seated and started with pani puri and chicken lollipops both were amazing and very freshly cooked. pani puri had multiple waters and chutney and a yogurt were all very good although if one was more spicy would have been better but still good, the chicken lollipops were the best i’ve had very tender plenty sauce and spicy . very good. we then ordered goat kadai, it was bone in goat which i’m not a very big fan of bc of the lack of meat however this was very good, and flavorful . also lamb kabob very good came with as mint chutney freshly cooked .. garlic naan , onion kulcha, and masala soda all very good the naan was not buttered but soft and fresh .. definitely was worth the visit . we also got cassatta ice cream to go it was good however i envisioned something different, it was all frozen including the cake , it would be better if cake was fresh with ice cream and fresh toppings but it was a great dinner all together , they were busy and our waitress only came over when bringing the food or waved at .. i wish they were a little more attentive .

We visited Tabla Restaurant in Orlando while in town for the theme parks after seeing great reviews, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. Ansari took excellent care of us, making sure we had everything we needed and arranging comfortable seating, which made the experience even better. On our first visit we enjoyed the sweet corn soup and info Chinese Hakka noodles, both of which were delicious and full of flavor. We liked the place so much that we came back the next day for paneer Khurchan with garlic naan, and it was just as fantastic. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, and I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Orlando.

Dined at Tabla near Universal a couple of days ago. The place is clean, & there was no wait when we went. The menu options are varied and tasty👌 We ordered Indo-Chinese & Thai items. The spice levels were spot on, portions were generous, & the food delicious. The only disappointment was when we asked for Masala Tea at the end- the order was taken initially, & after about 10 minutes we were informed that it would take another 20 minutes for the tea to be made as the staff were busy with other tasks! We chose to skip the tea. That was the only blotch, & the reason why a star is taken from the Service/Overall categories.

It’s close to universal studios entrance. The food was good . We tried their weekday lunch platter. Both Veg one and Non veg platter were good. They Samosas were so crispy and so tasty. We also tried the baby corn fry - it was really yummy with good spice levels. The ambiance is so welcoming and the staff is really good.

Title: Mixed Experience at Tabla Indian Restaurant I recently visited Tabla Indian Restaurant in Orlando, FL, and overall, it was a mixed experience. Let's start with the positives. The ambience of the restaurant is fantastic, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere that's perfect for a relaxed evening out. The decor is tasteful, and the lighting sets the mood just right. The service at Tabla Indian Restaurant deserves praise as well. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They were quick to address any requests and made sure we had a comfortable dining experience throughout our visit. However, where Tabla fell short was in the quality of the food. While the menu offered a variety of enticing options, the execution was lacking. The flavors seemed watered down, missing the depth and richness that are expected from authentic Indian cuisine. This was especially disappointing considering the restaurant's reputation and the expectations set by the ambience and service. Despite these shortcomings, I believe Tabla Indian Restaurant has the potential to improve and deliver a more consistent and flavorful dining experience. With some adjustments to their cooking techniques and ingredient quality, they could easily elevate their dishes to match the excellent ambience and service they provide. Overall, I would rate Tabla Indian Restaurant 4 stars. The great ambience and service are commendable, but the quality of the food, particularly the lack of depth in flavors, is what holds it back from a higher rating.

This place was pretty great! I love Indian food, one of my favorite things to go eat when I want something super flavorful and really spicy. We both got extra spicy vindaloo, mine was paneer and chicken, his was lamb chop. We got green chili garlic naan also. The flavor was amazing, the spice wasn’t the hottest I’ve had but it was still hot. The only thing was the lamb chops were really small for a $6 up charge. Our waiter Shadab (sorry if I butchered the spelling, the guy who is in school to become a hotel manager), was great! Attended to my husbands food allergies, chatted with us about culture and life, had us try an amazing Indian dessert with carrots and burnt milk (Garje, Garge? lol sorry I’m so white 🤣). Towards the end of the experience, a really annoying Disney family came in with really loud and disrespectful children that were clearly bothering the entire restaurant, the parents just sat there pretending their kids weren’t wresting and screaming and hanging on the “please wait to be seated sign”, climbing on clean tables 🤦🏽‍♀️ the staff handled that a lot better than I would have! I’m even more impressed by that than the food maybe 🤣 thanks for a good dinner! It’s not at all cheap, you will spend $100+ to eat and have a couple drinks, but that’s to be expected in this area anywhere unless you’re going to settle for Mcdonalds.

I had a great experience at Tabla in Orlando! The panipuri was a standout — super fun and flavorful. Overall, the food was delicious and well-prepared. For dessert, I tried the crème brûlée gulab jamun — definitely a sweet-on-sweet combo, but it actually worked really well! Rich, indulgent, and a perfect end to the meal.

I stopped by Tabla to satisfy my craving for Indian food, and while the dishes were good—though not quite what I had hoped for—the service more than made up for it. Shadab, our server, was truly exceptional. His warm hospitality, attentiveness, and attention to detail elevated the entire dining experience. I enjoyed the lemon coriander soup, Manchurian and goat rogan josh, special thanks to Shadab for outstanding service, my visit felt genuinely memorable.

The goat curry was the best. It was so flavorful and the meat was large and tender. The garlic naan was also a hit. The lamb chops weren’t worth it. They weren’t as tender as the lamb meat we got in the curry, but the charred onions were super flavorful. I would steer towards the Indian foods and curry at this restaurant, every single one we got was delicious.

It had a pleasant atmosphere, but the service was slow and average; the manager brought us water after I waived him down. The lamb Biryani was good, but the lamb was scarce compared to the rice $24 seemed high for the amount of meat. The garlic naan was good, and the samosas were tasty even though the sauces both had heat to them. My wife had the chicken madras, and it was good, and medium heat was perfect.

The atmosphere and the ambience is stunning, very rarely you come across an Indian restaurant that has put in efforts to upgrade and maintain its ambience. The staff was very warm and friendly. We loved the Drums of Heaven from the appetizer, it tasted like chicken lollipop but sautee in a special Indo Chinese sauce. Junglee Lala Mass (with goat) was very flavorful, the meat was perfectly cooked. Indo-Chinese Biryani was a bit disappointing. The item was decently made but calling it a Biryani isn’t accurate.

Great spot for authentic Indian food in Orlando. I specifically looked for pure vegetarian options (no eggs), and the kitchen delivered—the flavors were excellent. The only downside was the wait time. Service was slow, and it looked like the staff was struggling to keep up with the crowd. It’s a solid 4 stars for the food, but I hope they can improve the service speed in the future.

Excellent restaurant with great ambience and service. Our waitress Manali was very helpful in us seedling great dishes. See attached for some amazing dishes that were had recommended by her! All in all the experience was great, but the food could have tasted a little better. We give the food 7 out of 10.

Had the Mulligatawny, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Garlic Naan. Thought all were good. Only questionable thing -- had food delivered for another member of the party and the server noticed something was "wrong" with that food item after returning. But wouldn't tell us what was wrong until after the food was remade. Claimed it was the wrong type of pepper used on top. Something like that is not a big deal in the first place so that was definitely a little sus. Would prefer just to be straightforward, but otherwise everything else was fine.

Small but cute restaurant that's connected to a hotel. The decor is simple but on the fancier end. We read the reviews and we're very nervous about what to expect based on all the negative things we read. I will say that the service was really good. The waiter was quick and respectful and very helpful. The appetizers were good. One was way better than the other but still good. The kebab we got was actually the only disappointing food we ate there. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't what we were expecting I guess. We thought we were getting actual lamb chunks grilled and it ended up being a plate of ground kebab. Not what we thought we ordered. It tasted fine but not what we wanted or expected. The butter chicken was the star. We loved eating it with the garlic naan. Overall it was a great experience. I'm glad we didn't let all the negative reviews stop us from trying this place out.

I was asked to provide a review by a server, which I am happy to do. Three of us went to Tabla as another Indian restaurant our host wanted to go to was closed. I was immediately struck by the atmosphere which is atypical for an Indian restaurant (very modern). Other than being way too cold, I appreciated how airy and clean it was. Two of us ordered biriyani (I had goat, my friend had lamb). We ordered medium spice and both of us thought it was absolutely delicious. Menu stated it would be served with roti (or something like that). Neither of us rec'd that. We did order naan separately and it was only two pieces which I thought was not enough for three of us--would have appreciated the waiter either suggesting more or coming back to see if we needed more, esp since we didn't get anything with the biriyani. Our host ordered saag with chicken and was not happy with it--it looked very skimpy compared to the biriyani. He barely touched it, and again, I would have thought the server would notice and ask. The pekora was excellent, esp the accompanying mint sauce. Samosa were good but skimpy-three pieces with minimal filling. My overall impression was tasty food (my goat was superb) but uneven portion size and server attention.

The Chinese wok dishes are amazing and full of flavor. The service was good and the staff was attentive. The biryani, however, did not feel like traditional South Indian style; it seemed more suited to North Indian tastes, which some people may enjoy. Overall, it’s a good place with tasty food and good service, especially for their Chinese-style dishes.

During a personal trip to Orlando, I decided to stop by Tabla Indian Restaurant for lunch, drawn by its blend of Indian and Thai cuisine. The restaurant is conveniently attached to a hotel, making it a great option for both locals and visitors. **Ambiance & Hospitality:** The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and spacious, creating a comfortable environment for dining. We arrived a little early, around noon, and the bar wasn’t open yet, so if you’re planning to enjoy drinks, I’d recommend coming later in the day. The staff were friendly, and the service was attentive, enhancing the overall dining experience. **Food:** As a family, we started with the chicken lollipop, my kid’s absolute favorites. True to expectations, the dish did not disappoint! For the main course, we ordered vegetarian Hakka noodles and lamb curry with butter naan. The naan was soft and paired perfectly with the flavorful lamb curry. The noodles were delicious as well, offering a nice blend of flavors. However, having been away on a business trip for three weeks and eating out frequently, I felt my palate may have been less appreciative than usual. **Final Thoughts:** Overall, it was a great lunch, especially being reunited with my family after a long time away. While I enjoyed the meal, my expectations were slightly higher based on the reviews I had read beforehand. That said, every experience is unique, and I encourage others to give it a try—your taste buds might just love it! **Tips:** - If you’re planning on enjoying the bar, visit after noon. - Great for families, especially if you have kids who love Indian appetizers like chicken lollipops!

Tabla is one of those overhyped places that looks great on the outside, but the food didn’t really live up to expectations. The ambience and service are definitely positives, and despite being in a busy area, we were able to find parking easily, which was a relief. A special mention to Shadab, who served us—he was excellent. He patiently explained the dishes and the concept of the restaurant, and his recommendations were spot on. We really liked the paneer tikka and kadai paneer that he suggested. We were a group of three, and unfortunately, not everything worked for us. None of us liked the chaat platter. The mango lassi was overly sweet, and the biryani felt like it was missing salt altogether. We also ordered aloo paratha, which is usually made with wheat flour, but here it felt more like an aloo naan. The chicken tikka paratha was disappointing too—it had a lot of color but no real flavor of chicken or masala. After a few misses, we didn’t feel confident enough to order anything else. Overall, good service and ambience, but the food needs improvement to justify the hype.

We traveled to Orlando from NYC for two days and wanted to see how Indian cuisine in Orlando compares to NYC. Unfortunately, we were highly disappointed. We chose Tabla Restaurant because it had very high ratings, which, in our experience, were misleading. The service was lacking from the start. My husband actually had to get up and ask the receptionist to please send someone to take our order, as no one came to our table for quite some time. We ordered: • Chicken drumsticks • Chilli chicken • Hakka noodles • Kadhai chicken The Hakka noodles were not good at all — bland, almost no vegetables (no bell peppers, cabbage, etc.), and only a few chicken pieces. The chicken drumsticks were okay, and the chilli chicken was decent. The kadhai chicken was overly salty, but to be fair, the waiter replaced it promptly, which we appreciated. We wanted to order naan and kulcha, but the wait was so long that we eventually decided not to place any more orders and just leave. Overall, the experience was NOT great!!

The food was okay, nothing special. Others in my party felt the same. Seeing the earlier online ratings, I was expecting more authentic and close-to-home flavors that one would savor but it felt like any regular Indian takeout food. Not worth the trip and high price. One of the dish that we asked to be made on the spicy side felt like just loaded with extra red copy powder 😐 Also, felt weird the way they check you in - when we called for reservation they said it’s first-come-first-serve; when we get there, we see more than half the tables available but the guy would not tell us the wait time. When you are a 8-10 people party with kids it’s difficult to put your name on waitlist without knowing if you will get a table in 30 mins or 2 hours.

Tabla have good ambience and sitting. Food was not that great. I am a foodie , and drove for 2 hours after checking online reviews. here is our feedback Momos - cold, hard from inside, sides were not well done Indo Chinese triple flavor - ok chana masala - not fully cooked, gravy not done hakka noodles .. not tasty, no veggies, blend manchurian worst , cold small balls , gravy not cooked kashmiri chicken - best item naan — cold , and got new one chicken sheekh kabab - soggy and watery Medium spice is mild spice Items are pricey too and not worth second visit pls make indian food tasty specially indo- chinese dishes otherwise do not put them on menu.

The food we ordered were below average. We ordered Indo-Chinese and they were very bland. The baby corn chilly did not have chilly, not hot at all. We ordered Manchurian and Hakka noodles both were below average. And our stomach was upset that night and followed on the next day. The jal jeera was really tasty which is why I gave an extra star. The service was very good and the atmosphere was great but food did not agree with us. That’s the only picture I took so that’s what I am adding .

Restaurant and service are great, but food is mostly below average. Lamb chops were good, but portions are tiny for the price paid. Chicken makhani flavor was extremely lacking. Palak paneer was ok. Chai was very light and not flavorful. Biryani was also just rice with a bunch of spices but not really flavorful and the goat was tough and chewy. I was surprised to find that such a highly rated restaurant with 11k reviews tastes so bad. I would not recommend this place. They are probably thriving from one time visitors for the parks.

Food at this place is great! Tasty dishes. But I gave it an overall three stars because of the service. We were stopping by for lunch in between spending the day at Disney’s Maguc Kingdom. I had called and asked if it is ok to come for lunch by 2:35 pm. The restaurant closed for lunch at 3 pm. We only drove to the place after getting their assurance that they can accommodate us if we can make it in by 2:35 pm. On our arrival at 2:31 pm, a young waiter, who looked to be of Indian origin, approached us and rudely told us that we can only order take out. I told him of my phone call to which his reply was “we did not get any calls”. The situation was resolved after a senior waiter helped address our issue and made sure food was served to us! To the staff of Tabla: you are in a service industry in the USA. Do not bring your Indian frustrations and rude attitude to your customers here or for that matter anywhere! Please be kind and helpful! Everybody can be won over just by a smile and kind words. Your food was great! Please work on your service.

Sitting at table for 15mins after waiting 20mins for a table and no one came to take order or give drinks, not even to say hi I will be right with you, absolutely nothing, when i stopped a waiter or bus boy, he had an attitude like why did i stop him,no plates or utensils at table.....sitting here waitin for food now....35mins later received food, NOONE came between that time! Its a Monday night and it was pretty busy, but no reason for such bad service, from the time we sat to get food was about 50mins and only saw waiter to take order and to get check. Food tasted great.

After seeing so many great reviews, my partner, my sister, and I decided to try this restaurant for dinner during our Orlando trip. The ambience was nice and we were seated comfortably. We started with Manchow soup and paneer tikka, but unfortunately both were disappointing. The soup was watered down, and the paneer was chewy — not tandoori at all, just tossed in red sauce. For the main course, we ordered chicken biryani, bhatura, and chana masala. The biryani didn’t live up to expectations, the bhatura was quite oily and not fluffy at all, and the chana was just okay. We’ve honestly had much better Indian food at Ashirwad Restaurant and Tamara Modern Indian Cuisine. The service was another letdown — we had to remind them twice just to get our beer. If you’re checking reviews, I’d recommend looking at the lower-rated ones, especially those given by Indian customers. Overall, it’s an okay restaurant, but you can definitely find better Indian food in Orlando. ✨ Honest review | Food lovers perspective 🍛

We ordered chili panner, chicken madras and paneer bhurji. The chili panner was not authentic Indian chili panner, it was soy sauce based instead of tomato gravy based. Would not recommend. However, the chicken madras was great, it had a hint of coconut which was tasty. All the entrees was average but needed some salt. We ordered spicy for our dishes but they only added chili peppers which did not make it spicy at all. Overall the restaurant has a nice dining area; however, I would not recommend it for people trying authentic Indian food. Also, the price of the dishes were too high for the taste. Manali was our server and did a great job with serving.

I ordered “Diwani handi” supposedly their specialty, & butter naan & tandoori roti. & butter milk. I couldn’t tell you how bad everything was! Except naan. Naan was alright, they really need to change their recipe of Diwani handi. Its atrocious how they just put all vegetables & no gravy. If i didn’t had back up food, this was a bad turn over. Buttermilk or salted lassi was so bad! Please don’t follow reviews like i did. Tandoori roti wasn’t even cooked properly! It had no taste.

Disappointed – Not the authentic taste I expected Got baited with the ratings and review count! I ordered the chicken biryani hoping for a flavorful, authentic South Indian experience, but it tasted more like tomato rice with plain boiled chicken mixed in. So it is not how it tastes by looks of it in the picture! There was no depth of spice or aroma you’d expect in a proper biryani. If you’re looking for true South Indian biryani, this probably isn’t the place Same thing goes for red curry. If you wanna eat Thai foods, find a original thai place! Im not saying it is the absolutely worst, food was ok but for the price we are paying here we deserve tasty food!

DriveIn

The restaurant is clean and nicely maintained. However, the service didn’t feel very welcoming, and the food was average. I was expecting a bit more warmth and flavor. Goat biryani is good Chicken biryani is average Hakka noodles regular vs machurian sauce - no difference. Chicken 65 - too much sauce. Had very strong smell probably from the batter.

After a long flight from Dallas, we were hungry and excited to eat, especially after seeing so many great online reviews about the food. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The paneer biryani was terrible—it tasted like leftover masala mixed with plain rice. The gobi manchurian was just as bad, with extremely large pieces and excessive oil. Overall, it was not the quality we were expecting.

5 stars are given only because of the service delivered by "Valentine." In our ( me + my guests) opinion, Valentine should be the manager, especially due to his gentle way of interacting. The 1 star for food should not be taken to mean that all of their food is of the same quality. We understand that food may not be perfect (or may not match a specific customer's taste) all the time — it happens. But the most important thing is how the service provider handles the situation. That is why 5 stars are given to "Mr. Valentine."
