We’ve visited this place more than once — the food is always very delicious, the dishes are served quickly, and the selection is truly great. The staff is friendly and polite, and the restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and beautiful interior. However, we would like to point out one thing: on the outdoor patio, we have noticed several times that the fans hanging directly above the tables are very dirty. It would be wonderful if the management could take note of this.
Delicious food! We had an amazing time and our server Addy was awesome. The food presentation and of course taste was 10/10. Highly recommend the special sushi rolls, wagyu fried rice, and the ice cream. Happy hour menu is really good as well. We will definitely be coming back!
Very nice restaurant witho utside patio, right by Lake Eola. The drinks and sushi were great! We ordered quite a few meals but I only took photo of mine... Nice ambiance.
Food here was amazing. Both the Lava and the Tiger roll were phenomenal. We also did their happy hour rolls and apps and everything was delicious.
This was our first time here and it was for our anniversary dinner. The staff, food, ambiance all were amazing! Our waiter was so friendly, and made a great recommendation on Sake! We decided to order 6 different rolls to share. This has to be the freshest sushi we have ever had and we've had sushi all over the country. Honestly if we could eat here once a week we would 100% be doing that. On top of the AMAZING sushi, they brought us fried ice cream for our anniversary and remembered that we had mentioned it was our 8 year wedding anniversary. We will be going back and will be telling our friends about the restaurant. So happy to find our new favorite sushi spot!
I took my girlfriend to this restaurant for her birthday, and we absolutely loved the unique variety of sushi. The Atomic roll was definitely our favorite, but honestly, every roll we tried was delicious and bursting with flavor. The drinks were fantastic, and the atmosphere really enhanced our experience.
A fantastic spot for sushi if you’re in Orlando. We enjoyed the fresh sushi and menu diversity very much. We sat outside, where thankfully they have mosquito nets which is very important in Florida! The service was excellent & very professional. We ordered a lot of items, the sashimi platter, rolls, basil conch, tako wasabi, spinach salad among other items. We would definitely return!
I recently visited this sushi spot and was blown away by their happy hour! The prices are great for the quality of sushi you get—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was on point. My absolute favorite was the TNT roll — slightly spicy, packed with flavor, and definitely a must-try. If you're looking for great sushi without breaking the bank, come here during their happy hour.
Best Sushi i ever had, i had the 3 types of fish nigiri. I really recommend it, i am a sushi lover have eaten sushi/nigiri at so many places but so far this one has been the best
Fresh and creatively crafted dishes with consistent quality each time we come.

We love it! They have a happy hour with great options and we love they have keto friendly options

This is by far is one of the best sushi restaurant. We ate all around the world. In Europe and in the US, Dish is very well proportion, fish is fresh, steak is awesome. No doubt we will be back. The spicy scallops hand roll is the best and the steak with the right saki.... well, you just have to try it for yourself
If you haven't been to Ootoya it is a must try in Orlando. One of my favorite sushi spots to visit in town. The fish is always fresh. My favorite sushi roll is the Hollywood. One of the most unique rolls I have ever eaten. The different types of fish pair well together and the presentation is quite eye-catching. For something more affordable, I would recommend going to their happy hour. The appetizers and drinks are a little cheaper and there is a deal where 3 sushi rolls cost $18. The only complaint I would have is that Ootoya is understaffed every time I visit. There is not a host in the front and it takes quite a bit to get someone's attention to get a table and to be seated.
There is paid parking in the garage behind the restaurant or metered street parking. Once got in, got a table instantly. We took our servers recommendations of the tiger roll and blue crab fried rice and it was excellent. The tuna kobachi was tasty as the avocado and sauce complimented the dish well. The yellowtail serrano was fresh. The wagyu Yaki soba was ok. It was the least favorite dish on the table. Overall great experience and friendly staff.
We always have a great experience there which is why I chose this location for my birthday dinner. We reserved the VIP room we had 8 guest but it seats up to 10. The menu is phenomenal and we got to request our favorite server Jessica. She's the best.
Amazing happy hour! Do yourself a favor and indulge in their delicious sushi and lychee martinis. We had the 3 for $15 sushi special which included (from left to right) the Alaskan, Philly and Class roll. We also tried the Hollywood roll which is the full on the bottom. One of my favorite appetizers was definitely the Yellowtail Serreno.
Jessie service was amazing really appreciate her everytime! My family and friends have been coming here for over 5 years great service all the time but Jessi tops it all . Shes super welcoming n comforting. Thank you again!
What an amazing surprise! We stopped in for dinner with some friends and we were blown away. Kelly was an amazing waitress, super attentive and friendly! We had appetizers, tuna tataki, yellow tail, and the most amazing spicy garlic edamame! You must get this! The sauce is amazing with everything! We had Eola Roll, atomic roll, Hollywood , tuna lovers, and hakkaido rolls! All were fantastic, but our favorites were the Eola and Atomic! I will make a special trip just for those! Great atmosphere, beautiful sushi bar and overall well worth the money for the quality food and service! We will be back!
Amazing sushi and great service. We sat at the bar and got to watch the wonderful artistry of sushi making. These sushi chefs are legit, top notch! Service was perfect, attentive and gracious. Beautiful atmosphere and lovely decor. Cool, spacious, clean, upscale without being pretentious. When in Orlando this spot is a must visit!
Excellent sushi, sashimi, and drinks. The service was amazing thanks to Jessie! She was so wonderful and helpful.
The interior is splendid. We came here for the Bite30 menu. The fish was so fresh and juicy, everything melts in your mouth. And they are thick cut! The appetizer was savory it did open my appetite. If you look at the pictures, it's like you are enjoying some good art. Every plate worth a picture. They have a beautiful outdoor seating area.
Cannot express in words how great the food and service was! Addy was a spectacular server and the gentlemen at the sushi bar were so gracious. The crispy rice was a big hit and a must order. All the nigiri was beautifully prepared. This restaurant serves fresh, REAL wasabi with every sushi order. Not to mention the prices were completely reasonable. I will absolutely be back.
I brought my GF here right after proposing (she said yes by the way 😂) and this place was great. First time here, but the vibe is great and the sushi was very fresh and flavorful, with decent prices for the area and quality. Our server was Jessica and she was amazing, super friendly and helpful while also keeping a good atmosphere at the table when she checked in with us throughout the meal. She could tell we just got engaged which was cool, and congratulated us with a tempura ice cream dish that she had made into a heart, on the house. We'll definitely be back.
Oh my god, this place gave off such a wise and experienced feel to it, like it's been there for a while, To my surprise that they been open for only two days! James, our server was such a pleasure to talk to, gave us such a great vibe which only enhanced the sushi. The sushi was something else, it was Artsy yet it was traditional. Atmosphere took a bit to kick in, but once you let the sushi consume you, it is absolutely terrific. Every sashimi and drink was crafted with such passion and mastery. I for sure recommend this place as well as wish this place well!
The Happy Hour Menu included great appetizers for $7 & $8. Truffle fries were served with a mango mustard and a hit with my teens. The salmon banga was a spicy mix with avocado. We enjoyed three sushi rolls for $17. The fish was very fresh! The atmosphere was nice with fish rattan lights, cloth napkins and a nice mix of people grabbing a bite downtown.
I loved Christina, she was my server. Nice smile. I went on a Monday afternoon----HAPPY HOUR IS ALL DAY ON MONDAYS!!!! I couldn't believe that----it is true, though. I got so full. I had the veggie tempura, seaweed salad, fried oyster as my appetizers. My sushi rolls were the spicy tuna, eel cucumber and shrimp tempura. Whewwwwie. I will be back.
Made a reservation same night, the person on the phone was so friendly and when we got there our table was ready. The waitress was so nice and polite, her suggestions were spot on and the food was delicious. Great night overall. The restaurant is very well decorated and lit perfectly, great place for a date night!
Fantastic atmosphere with one of the best Happy Hour Menus in Orlando, arrived right around 4:30pm, sat at the bar and had excellent service. We ordered the tuna kobachi, TNT roll and the pork gyoza, all three were AMAZING. My bf got the three roll special and I got the Hokkaido specialty roll, we were amazed by the flavor of these rolls. Will be coming back for sure!!!
We got to eat here for dinner and it’s really worth the price. The sashimi are fresh and delicious that can melt into your mouth. Eola Rolls are spicy but flavorful, the Crazy rolls are crunchy and tasty. I really recommend the Truffle King Salmon and the Wagyu, THEY ARE SO DELICIOUS! The staffs are friendly and helpful. Will visit again!
This place was super welcoming. Our waitresses were so wonderfully entertaining, considerate and helpful. They gave me the suggestion of ordering the garlic edamame and it was so delicious! I highly recommend it as well. I enjoy that the sushi pieces are small as sushi is meant to be enjoyed in one bit but I wish I realized a role was 6 pieces. It was still good though. I will say I wish the Philly roll didn’t have more cucumber than salmon bc then the water from the cucumber just kinda gushes out and makes the roll taste watery, if that makes sense. The salmon doesn’t get to shine as much in the roll even though it should! The place was really nicely decorated and I enjoyed the plum wine they sold. Super sweet. Overall, I had a good time!
I love the location of this restaurant, very close to downtown Orlando. We did the magical dining with great options like lamb chops, crispy ribs, and scallops. You can tell it's made with fresh ingredients and our waitress was very attentive and welcoming. This is a great place for a low key romantic date
Stopped in for Bite30 but I think we'll definitely be coming back to try their regular menu. Service was friendly.. unfortunately don't remember our server's name but she was very nice. All our food came out really fast too! The Yellowtail Serrano was amazing. I love the yuzu sauce with it.. I can definitely eat a lot of this! Sushi dinner was amazing... Perfect rice to fish ratio! My bf got the sashimi dinner and the fish were all decently cut too, not thin at all. Lava cake was delicious- it was rich and decadent. Very chocolatey but not overly sweet.
We were craving sushi and wanted another bite30 so we tried out this wonderful gem! In one of my favorite neighborhoods Thorton Park.Evin was our server and he was amazing along with all of the other staff. So attentive and accommodating to any allergies and questions. I can not wait to go back in a group and enjoy more sushi and wagu🥰🥢🍹 oh and the drinks were amazing Paloma and lychee martini highly recommended 👌
Great atmosphere & phenomenal cocktails (Ootoya Old Fashioned!) with some of the freshest & most creative dishes in town. Don’t leave without trying the king salmon truffle nigiri, the Hollywood roll, and the short ribs. Making a reservation isn’t a terrible idea, as this place can fill up quickly in the evening. We see the owner often as well, checking in with each table to make sure the service & food is top notch.
I looooove this place, everything we're in orlando, we always make a stop now, it's turning into a tradition. The food we get is always consistent and delicious. We always want to venture out and try other things, but we have been a bit stubborn. 😣 the blue shell crab fried rice is the best soooo delicious. Personal favorites, scallop scrudo. Truffle king salmon, otoro, chu-toro, salmon belly, and ebi shrimp. Even the drinks are great, cucumber basil smash, Bamba beach banger, and also the cosmopolitan.
Everything about our Dinner tonight was exceptional. Had a few sushi rolls, honorable mention to the Eola roll and the Crazy roll. Service was great, food came out quick. Will definitely be marking this place down as a regular.
Chris was an amazing server! I came here with my girlfriend to celebrate her graduation and my birthday and we had a great time. We started with some gyozas, salmon kobachi and calamari. The salmon kobachi had very rich flavors and the gyozas were perfectly crisp. It was happy hour so we shared the 3 sushi rolls for $19! Aside from quantity, the quality of the sushi rolls were amazing. Spicy salmon is definitely my favorite. Everything tastes very fresh and all the flavors compliment each other pretty well. At the end of our meal, Chris had brought us tempura fried ice cream to celebrate our graduation and birthdays! Definitely coming back, had a fun time.
Such good sushi, but the fries with this sauce!! 10/10. This area is around the Orlando city soccer stadium and it’s worth the drive. The food was amazing and the restaurant flowed easily while many chefs were creating at the sushi bar. The waitress was so good at her job. You won’t regret coming here.
This sushi restaurant is truly delightful. The decor, food, and service are all absolutely wonderful. They have a bar on one side for those who just want to enjoy drinks, and a dining area on the other side, which also includes outdoor seating near the sidewalk. The tuna toro was exceptional, and the quality of the other dishes was equally impressive. The drinks were well-crafted and the service was friendly and attentive. I look forward to my next visit with great anticipation.
I recently celebrated my birthday here and I had the best experience. The staff was soooo sweet and took really good care of my party of 11! All of the food was delicious. They also went out of their way to accommodate me with gluten free substitutes. The style of the restaurant and the atmosphere was super nice. Highly recommend!
Great sleeper spot for sushi lunches downtown. Great prices, friendly staff, super fresh fish and they do the rice right. It was slower than I expected but 10/10 would get any of their rolls again. The ginger dressing and spicy mayonnaise actually have heat on them, which is a very nice surprise.
I’ve been to a lot of sushi places lately, most of them falling flat and having extremely average sushi. Ootoya made me fall in love with Sushi all over again. The service was fantastic, our waiter was attentive and speedy with our order. The sashimi was fresh, especially the toro & the hot food cooked to perfection. I’ll definitely be stopping by again next time I’m in Orlando.
I went here with my son for the first time, mainly due to the great reviews on Google. This little Japanese restaurant is really amazing! The sushi is probably some of the best I've had in my life and I've been to many sushi places in the USA and abroad. Our server was attentive and excellent. They even had fatty salmon, which you don't find often. We will definitely be returning!
For those looking for quality sushi, this place is perfect! Super charming environment, well decorated and clean (without much noise). Perfect for a date. Fast and great service, our server was awesome and everything we asked for was incredibly good! All 10/10. So far my favorite sushi in Orlando.

FAR EXCEEDED my expectations. Every single item we ordered was exceptional, from the cucumber basil martini, to the ginger house salad and the volcano roll. Food was out extremely fast, very fresh. The icing on the cake was the service provided by Jerry, who was very courteous, informative and pleasant. The ambiance of the restaurant is very well thought out. If you’re having second guesses, don’t, and just come.
We’ve been a few times since the grand opening last year and each visit is perfect. The friendly staff is amazing, they are knowledgeable and can answer questions about Ingredients and recommend items based on your preference. When you order multiple rolls they will bring it out on large trays that are great for sharing. The menu is focused on sushi but they also have several cooked and entree items like grilled wagyu or chicken katsu. The full bar offer traditional cocktails as well as plenty of signature drinks. The decor is also beautiful, it’s good for an upscale dinner or casual lunch. Highly recommend.
We had the pleasure of visiting Ootoya Sushi for the first time a few days ago. Having been to MANY different sushi restaurants all across Orlando, Winter Park, Clermont, Mount Dora and beyond, I can confidently say this is one of the very best in all of the greater Orlando area! They are doing an amazing job over there, the sushi tastes exceptional, and I will definitely be coming back! The only negative I could say is it was quite expensive, but due to the location of where this restaurant is, I guess I can see why they can charge a lot. We ordered: Shell Lover Appetizer, Ika Maru Yaki Appetizer, Atomic Roll, Surf Turf Roll, and Tiger Roll. Man, I wish we ordered more! Everything was exceptional - the squid appetizer was SO GOOD. Not fishy at all, and just a super nice, smoky and teryaki taste. The Shell Lover was light, refreshing, and a perfect start to the delicious meal - I loved the lime sliced on it! And all three rolls were incredible. We honestly could not decide which one was best. Tiger Roll was an amazing lobster roll with so much flavor, Surf Turf Roll was easily one of the best rolls with steak on it we ever had (and we’ve had several at different places before), and the Atomic Roll was awesome because it had plantains on it! Such a unique flavor!! All in all, we will DEFINITELY be back to Ootoya Sushi and will hopefully one day try everything on the menu. If you’re struggling to decide between here and somewhere else, pick here! You can’t go wrong!
We’ve dined here twice and have had a great experience both times. Little to no wait, great prices for what you’re getting, and it’s a really nice atmosphere. Although I did not get anything to drink, they do have a full service bar. Their sushi rolls were all good, i’ve had about 5-6 different rolls and they were all delicious with our favorite being the surf and turf with lobster and wagyu. The wagyu fried rice is a must have for us. The service was good, nothing out of the ordinary. We will definitely be back!
The place is beautiful and the food is great. We had the shaken steak and truffle fries to start. The fries went well with the steak sauce too! The rolls were really delicious. The rice was on point and the fish was definitely fresh. We had a nice waiter although it took about 5-10 mins to meet him but after that he was fairly attentive. It was a great dinner. Thank you for a lovely time.
Dare I say this might be one of my favorite sushi spots yet! Arry was incredibly helpful in coordinating a reservation for our large party, making the entire process seamless. Every single one of us was impressed—not only with his outstanding service, but also with the exceptional quality of the food, the thoughtfully curated menu, and the inviting ambiance. It was truly a fantastic dining experience from start to finish.
Absolutely loved going here! First off, when I walked in, I immediately loved the cool and elegant atmosphere. Even the music playing was good! Then, the service was very friendly and fast. And finally the food was simply delicious! The salmon carpaccio is amazing and the miso soup is perfect. The rolls are super too! I fell in love with the Hollywood roll in particular. I can't wait to order it again next time! There are many delicious cocktail options too, like the cucumber basil smash, which was very refreshing. Already looking forward to coming back and ordering everything again!
Austin and Larry are the best!!! Larry suggested the hamachi on the menu, and let me tell you, it was fantastic!!! he was very knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent service!!! Austin made the best cocktails and was very kind. I would 1000x recommend come sitting at the bar if austin is there! You will have an amazing experience and want to come back!

Pretty good sushi and decent happy hour menu M-F. Also not a matcha fan but the crème brûlée matcha was actually pretty good!
Very good ,delightful and delicious fresh sushi! Only thing was missing when it's saying spicy-it was not spicy at all but sweet! 😬 But otherwise very good and happy with ambient ,spot on!
I was craving sushi after a long drive and round at TPC Sawgrass. Totoya was highly rated and not too far off route to MCO. I had a simple dinner with Wagyu, Yellowtail, and Eel nigiri to start and the Eola roll for my entree. The food was good and the bar service was attentive. It was a Monday night so there wasn’t a wait or need for a reservation. The ambience was nice and suitable for a date night or solo dinner.

Was going to be 5 stars but charged us additional for miso soup. We ordered a boat for two at $110 and server said it only came with one salad or soup and not two when we went to pay. Guys how can this be????
This was the last restaurants I chose to go to for this year's Bite 30 event. I like to try and make sure that I get to go to a sushi restaurant during this event each year, and Ootoya had the best menu out of all of them. So I stopped by here just before an Orlando City game and chowed down. The locale is great. I absolutely adore the Thornton Park area. I'd live there if I was rich. So beautiful and so many quaint little places to eat and shop and there's a Publix at the bottom of a skyscraper. That's really cool. We got seated outside and our friendly server came to us and catered to our every whim. We got our hands on the Bite 30 menu and layed out the whole plan for him. Course 1: Yellowtail Sorreno (thin sliced yellowtail, jalapeno, cilantro, onion, yuzu). This was great. The tuna tasted nice and fresh and the little minced pieces of stuff on top really complimented the fresh fish very well, especially that tiny little zing from the jalapeno. Grilled Baby Lamb Rack (2 pieces of baby lamb rack from New Zealand grilled in cumin sauce). The seasoning of this lamb was bonkers ridiculously good. I thought it was cute how they wrapped the end of the bone in foil for the bougie folks who don't wanna get their hands dirty. And I really didn't see that cumin sauce. I don't think it was on the plate. It didn't need it, don't get me wrong. Just a curiosity. Course 2: Sushi Dinner (6 pieces chef's premium nigiri with toro scallion roll). This was solid. Each piece of nigiri had a fresh flavor that was uniquely unlike the others. I had pretty good guesses about what fish they were, but I'm not 100% sure because our server didn't outline the plate for us. That's always appreciated at sushi places, in case a restaurant rep reads this. Blue Crab Fried Rice (fresh blue crab lump stir fried with Japanese rice, onions, corns, and scallions). This was the star of my show. Crab fried rice might be my favorite meal of all time, and this did not let me down. Flecks of crab throughout. And surprise edamame! Not on the menu. But appreciated. I also wondered why there were random cucumber slices on the plate. We might never know. Course 3: Lava Cake. So they were out of the other two dessert options, but that was ok, because the lava cake was SO good. Melty and not-too-sweet with a big glop of vanilla ice cream. A great way to end a good meal. I will come back one day.
Friendly staff and good sushi. The specialty sushi is a bit pricey but I'd recommend the Hollywood and super dragon. The blue crab fried rice was delicious and definitely the best thing I had here. The truffle fries with jalapeno aioli is my go to appetizer you won't be disappointed.
A pretty good choice of restaurant in the area. There are a few sushi and this one would be somewhere on the top few. I had the salmon Toro sashimi which was fantastic; fresh; delicious; and priced right. The rolls and appetizers are great for solo or sharing. Staff is attentive and great service. Nothing which stands out good or bad, just great expected service for a good venue. I'm a big fan of this being central to the Eola area. Walking distance from the lake, some desert and coffee shops in the vicinity The restaurant inside is elegant and intimate. Would come back for date or special occasion with friends. The outside is a bit more casual and nice if not summer. I would like to come back and try other items on the menu
I really like this place, but on my first visit I just had starters. I was actually walking past on my way to a concert when some friends spotted me and dragged me back to the bar. The bar is impressive and the bartender was very knowledgeable about their menu. I started with a nice hot sake and the Tuna Tataki that was cooked perfectly with a tasty Ponzu sauce. The Gyoza had a perfectly seared crust, something you rarely see and the Jalapeno Bombs are great to share. The standout dish for me was the Wagyu Fried Rice, I could have this every week. Will go back soon for an update and sit at the sushi bar. Taste ***** Quality/Freshness **** Presentation/Uniqueness *** Service ***** Atmosphere **** Bar ***** Cleanliness **** Price ***
A Great Experience with One Disappointing Policy Decision: I've now ordered from Totoya three times, and this was my first dine-in experience. Austin at the bar provided excellent service and crafted a perfectly balanced cosmo—both delicious and beautifully presented. The happy hour menu offers solid value, and the food consistently impresses. Overall, the pricing feels fair. However, I need to address one frustrating policy issue. When I ordered a specialty sushi roll, I requested regular tuna instead of spicy tuna—a simple substitution for a made-to-order dish. Surprisingly, I was charged an extra dollar for this minor change, despite also ordering a plain tuna roll (meaning the kitchen already had the ingredient prepped and ready). While a dollar isn't significant financially, this policy feels unnecessarily rigid and customer-unfriendly. For a restaurant that otherwise excels in quality and service, this kind of inflexibility over a straightforward substitution seems like a misstep. It's the principle that bothers me, and it's the sole reason I'm giving four stars instead of five. Totoya, I hope you'll reconsider this approach—accommodating reasonable modifications would go a long way toward creating truly exceptional dining experiences.
I came here a few days ago with my friend for happy hour. The food was pretty decent. The waiter was nice, BUT the manager/owner definitely lacked customer service. No greeting at the door when we entered, and when we left literally greeted the people in front of us and just stared when we left. I pay for the food but also the experience and I want to feel welcome wherever I go.
I ordered food here and the place wasn’t even busy, but my order still took about 50 minutes to arrive. When a restaurant is not crowded and service takes this long, it clearly shows there are serious problems with how the place is managed and how customers are served. The location might be nice and the food itself may be okay, but the service and kitchen organization are very weak. Waiting this long for a simple order is not acceptable. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend this place.
I had an extremely unpleasant experience at this restaurant. I was served a glass of water. After drinking about half of it, I looked down and there was a cockroach inside the glass. It was absolutely disgusting and shocking. They simply apologized and gave me a small discount on the food. That was it. Considering I literally drank from a glass that had a cockroach in it, I expected a much more serious response. I will not be returning.
We usually have an enjoyable experience here, but the last time we went left a lot to be desired. Harumaki were extremely greasy, and flavors were just off overall on our sushi and entrees. Our server, Dung, was less than accommodating and rarely checked on us. If you’re going to joke around with customers and continuously tell them “no” when asking questions or requesting certain things, at least have a personality. Our sushi roll was also missing scallops and we never expect anything for free, but we were charged full price for the roll and was barely offered an apology. We won’t be coming back.
Went there for a nice date night and got sat with my partner in the back middle booth. Waited around 10 min and eyeing a waitress to see if anyone will come to us. Not sure if her name is Diana N. (It was on the receipt), but she was serving outside, the sushi bar in the back and apparently us. Gave me a very sarcastic attitude when I asked about a drink. We had to order apps there because I know she was going to take forever to get back to us. Very mid to nothing service because she was not nice, not attentive(more attentive to the people at the bar and people outside). Had to eye her down again just to get water, and did not give us enough napkins. Seemed very rush to get us out of there, checked on us quickly only ONCE. If it was up to me, I would skip this place due to the service. People pay for a nice experience only to get terrible service. Food was okay and place is pretty but I will never be back!
Just wanted to come here and leave my first negative review ever. I dined here tonight with a group of 11 for a friends birthday. We were a bit late to the reservation but we called ahead of time and they said it was alll good. That's besides the point though. Even if we were on time we wouldn't have received food until 2 hours later. We sat down and no one even got their soup until well after an hour of us being there. Everyone is waiting for their food for an extremely long time. Eventually, close to 2 hours after our service started, someone finally asked for the manager to complain. They said our server "just put the order in" which was shocking but revealed to be a bold face lie. The food in question was brought to our table not even a minute after the complaint was filed, so how is it possible it was just put in if it's arriving almost immediately after. (This is still over an hour after ordering) kitchen is backed up, fine, SAY THAT. We asked for management again asking for some kind of compensation, he said the server is gonna have to pay for it (any compensation) or else she will be fired. I feel so hard for this server because they were clearly lying on her name saying she did a bad job when that was clearly not the case. They also told us that we were her only table but we saw her serving other tables. Completely bad mouthing and threatening his employees when evidence of the opposite was seen. The owner did not offer one apology, only threats to fire the waitress rather than providing paying customers any type of sincerity or apology or willingness to right the situation. Main dishes weren't served until 2 HOURS after ordering. The delay on food isn't even the problem, the management completely disregarding its customers while simultaneously disrespecting their employees was unprofessional and baffling. She was clearly scared of him and fighting tears and I hope so much she does not lose her job just because their kitchen was backed up and the manager couldn't simply say that and/or do anything to try and make it right. 1 1/2 hours for soup and 2 hours for food is absolutely ridiculous but lying about your employees to make yourself look better is worse. My first time here, and last because of the way management handled this issue.
Out family arrived for dinner at 7:45 and was very thankful that we actually got a table. My boys ordered a sushi entree which was $52 dollars and only had three pieces of sushi and 3pieces of nigiri. The worst part was my wife and I and my other child ordered two totoya boat $129 And they never even made it. Our other boys finished their ridiculously overpriced sushi entree while the rest of the family were waiting until we cancelled dinner. Thanks for ruining our Christmas Eve.
