Whispering Oaks Winery

Came near closing, but caught the sunset from an incredible view, over a really unique bottle of wine 🥂 we got the dry blueberry wine, which was excellent and different. Tried a couple others, but this one was worth ordering a bottle. The wine is at a good price and value too.

Took the tour yesterday and had lunch for my daughter's birthday. Everything was beautiful, everybody is very friendly and helpful. The wine was delicious and our lunch was perfect! The outside eatting area is very welcoming. Looking forward to having dinner there soon.

I absolutely recommend stopping in to check out this place. It has a cool vibe whether you’re inside in the winter or outside in the spring. I would buy a bottle of wine and share it with a friend, grab some appetizers and a desert. Listen to some live music, look at the Koi in the pond with the waterfall, and enjoy the Winery. Tip: chocolate blueberry wine with the cheese plate and the hummus plate and the cheesecake. Cheers 💙🫐🍷 ask to stay at Taylor’s table. Chef Paul is fabulous

We had a lot of fun here at the winery. We came on a weekday and basically had the whole place to ourselves. The winery is blueberry based (which means red wines) the tours are free, and you can come into the restaurant, they give you options as to how many wines you would like to try. I believe at most you can try 8 wines for a good price. They have an outdoor patio with a koi pond or you can sit inside. I recommend making the trip up here!

Erin, the owner was so helpful with planning the details of our wedding. She helped coordinate with our other vendors and made sure everything went smoothly. The location is absolutely gorgeous and the staff are so amazing, polite and helpful.

We couldn't have asked for anything better. Erinn and Cliff bent over backwards to make sure that our special day was exactly that, special. Erinn made sure that every small detail was taken care of. The venue was beautiful and the food was phenomenal. I would recommend this place for any type of gathering. We just can't express our gratitude enough.... thank you, thank you, thank you Erinn and Cliff.

I had my doubts about doing an outside wedding and as a Bride I wanted things to be absolutely perfect. Cliff, Erinn, Darryl and the staff were excellent and even had back up plans depending on the weather (everything went smoothly). They were always working with us and honestly I felt they gave us much more than promised. They were constantly improving the venue! Every time we went to visit there was something new and it got better and better. The team there handled everything and all our questions were answered positively. Everyone was extremely nice and the food was amazing! There is a lot of value here

Have an excellent experience with my family. The wine tasting and server were amazing. I loved the dry wine tasting option. She explained the description and story behind each and every wine. Will make this place a regular stop on my visits to the area

Amazing find! My husband and I enjoyed the live music, winery tour and most of all the amazing wine. Family owned and operated. It was so worth the drive. We will be back for steak night!! 😋

Went in to taste the Blueberry wine and have lunch. I had a four glass flight of "sweet" and wife had "Dry". all interesting and very good.. My lunch was a BBQ Flatbread and it was excellent. Wife had the veggie Flatbread she also loved it They serve steak night on Sat. Snd sun. We will return for that.. Thanks to Jessica and all the friendly staff..

We had a wonderful first time experience here. We had a good tasting experience, the wine was surprisingly good, followed by a quick tour and then a good steak dinner with a live musician. We highly recommend the Whispering Oaks experience. We will be back!

Had a great Sunday lunch at the winery accompanied by the great saxophone player Ricky Q, really talented! AThe Sassy Sangria went well with my Chicken Salad plate.

We had an amazing time! The owner gave us a personalized tour and the experience was like no other. The wines are delicious and they have a wine that can accommodate to everyone’s liking. The place is gorgeous and the atmosphere was great. It’s definitely worth the trip!

Wonderful staff friendly and attentive with a great atmosphere. My wife and I shared a flight of wine and the smoked fish platter (very nice sized portion. Definitely a place to return to with friends.

Had my first visit with whispering oaks winery it was fantastic! The property is beautiful you can pick blueberries or watch a beautiful sunset and enjoy the live music that is truly talented and the wine 🍷 is amazing💯 I need to make another trip out there soon 😎

Beautiful property here! We happened to drive by and saw the flags at the road and quickly turned around. Our bartender/server was absolutely amazing and knowledgeable! Great tasting wines!

I was here for the Wine Run 5K. Wow! Great times. Fast service, delicious food, and great selection of wine and beer. The staff is friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back.

Great atmosphere. Excellent food and service. Band plays on weekends. Sit outside and enjoy the scenery with a nice glass of wine. I would recommend the blueberry.

Had an amazing anniversary night here. Server was Logan and she was extremely polite, friendly, and relatable! My husband and I had an amazing steak dinner, husband had the 16oz ribeye, I had the 10oz filet. Perfectly cooked and well seasoned. The wine is incredible and has so much flavor! The tasting was very versatile. Will definitely return! Can't wait to try the salmon!

Awesome atmosphere, great waiter, food was good, and we enjoyed the the four flight (4) of the sweet wine, outdoor cook. We sat outside by the koi pond and waterfall, with the sunset.Live music was enjoyable as well. We will be back!!

Nice atmosphere and the customer service was great. Traveling from out of town or else this would be a regular spot to frequent. Nabbed a bottle of wine to take back to Jax with us.

We have loved this place for years ! We come all the time. Tonight was not our favorite! We haven’t been for about six months and we were shocked. We brought people Liverpool and wasn’t there best service !!! Wish it was better

This is a unique and wonderful gem of a winery that focuses on using blueberries rather than grapes. It is a must visit if you're not from this area. Taylor is an excellent and polite waitress who was accommodating to our requests and questions. We enjoyed the Smoked Fish dip with the 8 wine flight. Each wine was unique and was a different experience from the usual wines one drinks. This is a must-visit place.

We loved this place. We sampled the blueberry wines and absolutely loved them. Our favorites were the Oak Barrel Reserve, Delightfully Dry, and Tango. Service was fantastic, and the steaks were cooked perfect over a bed of hot coals on the back patio grill. The warm blueberry cobbler desert served with whipped cream and ice cream was delicious! This place had live music and great relaxed atmosphere. We felt like we had discovered a great little secret getaway spot. My wife and I will definitely be back!!

Great flavors. The staff is friendly but too comfortable on the chit chat. It's a family business but it would be much more pleasant if they tidy up a little. Excellent location for a gathering as a medium to large sized party. I would give then a 3 for the "too laid back" country feel but a 4 because of the delicious wine.

Five stars for the location, the mushroom Brie soup, and the blueberry cheesecake! Amazing! Four stars for the steak and vegetables. Two stars for cleanliness. There were spider webs and dirt all along The Wall beside the table where we were sat. 1 star for the speed of service, flies, the burned biscuits, and the burned blackberry cobbler. I was also disappointed that we were not allowed to have a wine tasting unless we went to sit at the bar. We were the first table out the door. I would certainly return, but there are areas they could definitely improve.

Went for lunch and had the "leans to sweet" flight of wine and the smokehouse BBQ chicken flat bread. Both were excellent! The BBQ sauce was tangy, but not spicy and the chicken tender. The flight came with four samples and all of them were delicious. The samples were not evenly portioned though. They also ran out of blueberry cobbler, which I wanted to try. Overall, great experience and I plan on going back for a dinner. Winery is about 40 minutes away from me, but worth the trip.

Great outdoor area plus live music and great wine. Food is good, although I have to come back to try the full menu, hence why I don't give it a full 5 stars. Wine is based on their blueberry farm. Service was great, ambiance was very inviting. Will definitely revisit 100%

The first time I went was with a group from a local assisted living home. The staff was very accommodating to us but note, we did call ahead for information and arrangements. They have handicap accessible parking, drop off, entrance, seating and restrooms. We chose outdoor seating because they had live entertainment that day. Some of us were under a pergola and others in the open. Because of the size of the group we had two waitresses who took our drink orders and then our food orders. Everything came out of the kitchen correctly and to everyone's taste. Some of the residents also ordered bottles of wine to go. We had a lovely afternoon. But I would suggest that you check with their schedule for entertainment and hours if going there other than to just purchase wine.

Very nice area! This is a great spot to come hang out with friends and relax. Plenty of space, and staff is extremely friendly. Disappointed with taste and quality of wine. The wine was ok, but not enough for me to buy a bottle, which was my plan. I do appreciate the Tesla Destination chargers that they have installed.

We have dined at this place many times before. The last two times were just a big disappointment! Perhaps we can blame "COVID", but the portions have been reduced from the "Surf & Turf" to a "Puddles & Pebbles". The prices increased from $27 to $32 and the portions are so small that it’s not worth returning. Same dining experience, however our waitress last night apparently was not having a good evening. We asked for a bottle of the "Oak Barrel", and she said in a surprising manner that the "Oak Barrel" was "A Very Expensive Bottle", as if we couldn't afford it. I have never been told something like this by a waiter before. I challenge you to find the fillet steak; it was the size of a Chicken nugget, and the Shrimp Skewer had four medium (or maybe small) size shrimps; pathetic; see pics! The entertainment was great. Don't know who to blame for such a disappointing dining experience, but I don't think we will return! PS. I’ve noticed that they never reply or acknowledge reviews.

Place was dead on a Saturday night….that should’ve been my first clue. Food was gross, no flavor and tasted like it had been reheated from the day prior! Grounds are pretty but wine/beer selection was limited. I would not go back nor would I recommend. I had high hopes for this place.

Blueberries look nice but I haven’t tried them yet. I wouldn’t have purchased them but I drove my mother all the way there and she insisted to buy since we drove over 20 miles to pick up. The owner was literally a tool.(she was rude to her staff before she chewed us) Very rude and impatient! Obviously does not need the money and had a “wedding client” waiting for her..(I’m sure the big bucks) Anyway, I have never treated my customers that way, nor would I allow them to see my stress or frustration, if that’s what her problem was…I will never go back, and I was looking forward to trying the restaurant:) Seems like a neat setting.

Horrible experience. If I could give 0 stars I would! Terrible service, food was cold, and don't get me STARTED on the wine. Award winning where? Waitress came over one time total after getting our drinks. Disappointed. We waited 2 hours to get our food and we still had some orders wrong and had to wait even longer?! The manager didn't listen when we tried to express our concerns and acted like we were an inconvenience. Maybe cook the food right and make sure the restaurant you run, runs smoothly. We had to order pizza on the way home because we were so unsatisfied. Never going back. Wouldn't recommend.

We had a party of 10 with previous reservations and were completely underwhelmed. Our waitress was kind and helpful yet she was left to care for a big party by herself which made the service very slow. Our food was so disappointing. All the steaks were not cooked properly as ordered and were served cold. The two salmons were overcooked and unflavored. The potatoes were burned and also served cold. The salad “greens” was just shredded Romaine. The wine was good yet those of us who had water or tea were left wanting refills. At $50-$60 per person on average, we all expected a higher caliber food. Hope the establishment can take feedback and improve as it is a lovely location.

Very disappointed!! Upon arrival, we were advised our group had not arrived for the 5pm reservation yet, then asked if we would like to order a drink & sit at the bar. I ordered the flight (wine) & they were out of one of them (sangria) but would give another one of the (one of the three) that I liked best. We asked to purchase a bottle of Mildly Wild & were told that they didn’t have any bottles available but could pour a glass. At this time, one couple in our group entered & after a bit of discussion, we were told that they made yet another mistake. Everyone else in the group had been at the table. Apparently they had been there for awhile. One server knew but the other didn’t!! We had a group of 8. THE BIGGEST COMPLAINT WAS THAT THE DINNER WAS COLD. I sent mine back & it was returned not much better than the first time Salmon-baked potato-green beans & carrots. Prices are too high for that kind of service! We won’t be returning!!!

With a total of 7 customers in the place, we waited over 50 mins for our food order which our server seemed to forget about because she asked if we were waiting on pretzels- not remotely close to what we ordered. It then came out burnt. I ordered a glass of wine which took another 20 mins and then was $25. Absolutely not worth the price or your time.

First time we went we were served moldy cheese. Decided to give them a second chance, mistake. Tonight left much to be desired. We called to make reservations they said 7:15 was great, no problem. We arrived 5 minutes early and had no problem waiting. There were 4 other parties waiting to be seated before us. We waited. And waited. And waited. And after about 40-=5 minutes a couple came in who are regulars and they were acknowledged by their bartender. After he served them 2 glasses of wine he acknowledged us. We ordered a bottle and sat at the bar and then our wait continued. They finally sat the other couples that had arrived before us and then told their regulars that they could go to "their table" and after them we got seated. Not ideal but whatever. We sat outside on the patio for over 25 minutes and never got menus. The waitresses walked by us time after time but not once did they acknowledge us. After over an hour we left. Horrible customer service. Horrible service all around. If you were too busy you could have told me that when I called for a reservation, instead of wasting my time. By the time we were out it was too late to go have dinner at another decent steakhouse. Thank you for ruining our Saturday evening, greatly appreciate it, for those who are contemplating them I advise against it. Wines are good but their lack of service and quality food will ruin your meal.
